The staff here is wonderful I stayed over the course of many months for work, usually a few days each week and everyone was amazing The service at the front desk knowing my name when I walked in right down to the server in the morning remembering my breakfast order without me saying a word everyday

truly a great hotel with employees that are commited to hospitality

This place is very nice, wish we were staying longer Check in was easy, we happen to get the last room available The front desk guy Nate was very friendly, he definitely deserves a shout out for being so nice

On our short stay we talked to him 3 times 1 time at check in, 1 time looking for a pen and paper and 1 time this morning for extra shampoo Room was nice and clean Lots of space for the 2 of us here Breakfast was nice, I had a bagel with cream cheese and my daughter had some cereal and yogurt While at breakfast I heard another person say how ghetto this place was and knew I had to write this review because she is very wrong I am sure she has no clue what ghetto actually is We are is ohio and there is nothing ghetto about this hotel or the area as far as we can tell, and being from 2 blocks out of Chicago we definitely know ghetto Anyway, we would definitely stay again Next time we will have to bring swimsuits for the pool, it looked like it would have been nice to use for a little while

The Value, the quality of the hotel, and the cleanliness was remarkable I would absolutely stay here again Great Hampton Inn

There is plenty of parking and the parking lot is well lit Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk for the longest time Room was spacious, clean, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron & board, hairdryer, with all the bathroom toiletriesI did go to Breakfast and it was OK The traditional Hampton Inn breakfast set up with cereals, breads, muffins, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and a meat and egg option, etc It was nice being included with the stayI did not use any of the amenities but the hotel has a business center, workout room, guest laundry room, and indoor pool too

A Google User

It was a nice and clean hotel close to home for a little staycation for my kids Everything was nice and clean The app check in and digital key were awesome

I was bummed that the pool was so chaotic There were so many kids in the pool and they were loud and disrespectful My daughters couldn’t enjoy it and we only stayed for about 10 minutes Other than that it was good Breakfast was awesome and worth it for sure!

We are currently staying here until emergency housing opens up It has been a very pleasant experience! The rooms are huge, bigger than most apartments Maintenance and housekeeping respects your living space while you’re staying

They are very accommodating, allowed us to replace our tv due to a small dent in the corner It’s not like anything you’d see for 100-200$ a night, but if you’re not picky, it’s an amazing place to stay

Nicole M

Huge rooms, unmatched convenience of household appliances Full size stove/oven, refrigerator and PLENTY OF CLOSET SPACE TV in the living room and bedroom, 2 queen size beds plus the couch in the living room has another pull out bed

Some rooms have a hair dryer Weekly rate of $420 is an insane deal really You can get any drug without leaving the premises and should you want some female companionship, you guessed it, she’s next door Hey, I don’t judge

Nick Jindra

Unable to stay as we arrived for check in just to find nobody there and a disconnected phone number Bookingcom was able to get a hold of somebody who said to cancel us as there was a family emergency and no employees could get in on this short of notice

We were able to get refunded of our booking fees but not our time or gas as where we ended up staying was about a half hour away The worst part is we were talking to long term guests while waiting on bookingcom customer service and they said the reason the person who was supposed to be at the desk left was because her daughter had a job interview Hardly an emergency but if it was an emergency it sounds like one that somebody had notice to let us know that our stay wasn’t happening Freak occurance?, maybe but enough to sour my view of this place forever Places like this are why google needs a 0 star review option because the 1 star is credit this place doesnt deserve

This may be one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long while Check was smooth and easy The front desk workers were amazing and nice

When I got to the room the air conditioner wasn’t really cold I turned it down and when got back from country fest it still wasn’t cold I said something the next morning Had breakfast which was amazing everyday I was here I wish they did waffles everyday, that’s my only complaint The pool is a little small but was nice to get into after long nights Back to air conditioning after country fest that might I was not looking to come into a hot room and to my delighted surprise they installed a brand new unit This hotel was booked and sold out I wasn’t thinking they were goin be able to get to it That encompasses the stay here Really awesome people great service and perfect rest stop

Caitlin Adams

Rooms were stinky

the building was over crowded they rented out the lounge and pool area to a spring break group and half didn’t stay at the hotel There were some “interesting characters ” that kept going in and out of the hotel meeting with people all hours of the night We had a front room so we watched it all go down U can hear everything in your room and other rooms, plus one room was smoking pot and made our room horrible I wouldn’t care but we have young children Overall, the area has better hotel options The staff the works the lounge for breakfast, was the best thing about our stay, they helped the kids make waffles and were extremely friendly

The room was great, shower was amazing hot water and great pressure Room was clean and comfortable The lady at the front desk, check in was kind and helpful

We stay at hotels that offer breakfast for a reason There was barely any food out and what was out was unappetizing No coffee!!! Come on-do better! Breakfast was a joke Bring back the waffle machine or toaster with bread or bagelsAt least make sure you have plenty of coffee!

Crystal Graham

Staff is very friendly Room was clean and rather spacious compared to what we have booked in the past with other hotels Will definitely save this hotel for future stays when in the area for business again

It is right next to the highway and you can hear it in the room but we still slept like babies none the less There are lots of restaurants to choose from as well

We pulled in with our 39 foot Motor Coach and no one there was the slightest concerned They said it was no problem at all When I said we would be completely unloading it and putting everything into storage, they said no problem

When our room was overlooking the highway so very noisy, she moved us to the back side overlooking our coach When we needed to leave it there an extra day to continue unloading it before we turned it in for some repairs, he said not a problem Both the day and night desk people were so helpful and pleasant On top of that, the room was nice and clean I highly recommend the staff and facility

Melissa DelBoccio

I love eating here The chef is amazing

Everything I order is always delicious, seasoned perfectly, and perfect temperature A few times I’ve asked to speak with him and he’s been so kind and has great manners You should offer to go orders just with his food Even if we don’t stay at the hotel, cuz his food is the best! The rooms are what you’d expect for a Holiday In but are nice I wish you’d be able to go outside on the balcony on the 4th floor but I understand whyAlso, it would’ve nice to have an indoor pool but the outdoor pool is super niceThe staff is very sweet and I’d definitely come back

Roxanne Cross

Decent hotel, gives me an outdated vibe Somethings looked old, especially the furniture in the rooms and my room smelled funny I also hated the shower only has one door so the floor was getting really wet

Loved they had a pool, it’s outdoor but still pretty nice The clerk was super helpful in helping us navigate the area Overall I would go back if I needed a hotel in the area again

Fairly good location and very close to belden village if you are there for shopping or for the airport or the Hall of fame Lot of road construction going on north of there which makes it not as convenient for events in Akron or cleveland Room was very clean

Bed comfortable Water pressure very good Microwave and refrigerator Adequate TV with channel selections Good toiletries and towels Breakfast was just average with the usual eggs sausage some yogurt Could have used a little more fruit and non packaged bakery items The biggest complaint is the room temperature When the AC was running things were pretty cold but when it stopped they seemed to get warm in a hurry A little quieter than most hotels of this ilk I would definitely stay there again

Suzanne Maple

As a Marriot Bonvoy Member, I am not super impressed with this hotel We arrived at 11:30pm and there were noises all over the place We could hear all of our neighbors and didn’t get to sleep until about 4am

And then right at 6am, they started packing and all you heard was the banging of drawersOn top of this, the water flow was super slow and there was only super hot or ice cold Not much for a shower And our room thermostat was broken, so we slept in a tundra until it magically started working around 7amFood was alright except the hard boiled eggs turned out to be bad unfortunatelyI do want to mention though that the service was super nice and they did try to fix the issues, but they could not fix the noisey neighbors and that is really no fault of theirsPlease be cautious when staying Bring noise cancelling headphones and your own food

This was our first stay at a Hyatt brand hotel and we stayed for 5 days We will definitely be staying at more Hyatt hotels in the future This particular hotel set the bar high

The room was very comfortable and very clean Everything was working The hotel was well staffed in both number and quality Everyone we encountered, including the cleaning staff was outgoing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly The breakfast had a nice variety of food and was always well stocked and clean Jon was very customer oriented, well versed in the local attractions and was happy to see everyone in the morning, setting the day off to a nice start Jon echoed the overall culture of the hotel, really making everyone feel at home As an extra bonus, the pool and workout room were fully functioning and clean The pool was the right temperature And the treadmills had fun, interactive workouts Thank you for making our Ohio trip enjoyable

I am very upset with Hyatt Canton place We had reservations for 5 rooms that were made on the website 3 weeks later I get an email saying they had been canceled with absolutely no reason

I called and found out the hotel had overbooked because someone did not block off rooms for a festival in town So they just canceled all the latest bookings We were booked with confirmation #s for a holiday weekend and they basically left us scrambling to find rooms The prices also had gone way up They also accused me of trying to use gov rate? If I’m a government employee I’m allowed to use that rate This has definitely left me very upset with Hyatt I have never in all my years of travel had a hotel just cancel without trying to relocate to another hotel or offer a free night for your troubles especially when they screwed up I was told there was a glitch in there system Manager Matt was very uncaring about the situation When I asked for the corporate phone # he told me to find it myself The negative reviews keep coming for this hotel Please read the reviews before booking here

I stayed at this hotel and I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the ladies there were very friendly, well groomed, and overall they seemed to love their job and take great pride in it! The room was amazing, spotless! I did my usual floor check with a wet towel and it was clean enough to eat off of, although I don’t recommend it but OMG the place was so beautifully decorated! The lobby was just as beautiful I didn’t find anything wrong except the dry muffins at breakfast Other than that it’s the perfect hotel!!

Cheryl Melle

A small hotel but CLEAN and staffed with friendly people willing to go the extra mile to meet requests The complimentary breakfast had a huge variety between hot and cold options, including sausage gravy and biscuits (delicious!) unexpected but very much appreciated I was not anticipating this kind of quality service and comfort for an economically priced hotel – happily surprised and didn’t spend a fortune

Shout out to Amber and Mychalene especially for their fantastic hospitality!

I WOULDN’T GIVE THIS PLACE ONE STAR ZERO TO BE EXACT! Currently staying here and this has been my worst stay ever If I could upload pictures I would of how disgusting the bedsheets and pillows are

Had to notify the hotel of how bad the room was from our cell phone because the phone in the room does not work! When he came to our room he informed us that he would not sleep like that either and how he was unable to remove the nasty mattress case off the bed because he had no more I would not recommend this place to stay to anyone and if I wasn’t here for my son’s football game (here as a group) I WOULD BE GONE!!! To have travelled a long way and to not be comfortable is not a peace of mind I also reached out to guest relations of choice hotels and was told because we are here there is nothing they can do on top of the rooms being sold out Stains I mean huge stains not on one bed but on both beds in the room Huge stains on the pillows We had to literally remove the sheets and casing ourselves and I’m still uncomfortable and most of all annoyed by the lack of help and a solution Although the front desk guy wasn’t rude, the only thing he offered was to place a clean sheet over the nasty one and blamed housekeeping DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

James WFreedom

It was an ok stay The room was kind of small, the bathroom was, odd They were understaffed

The breakfast was just not great – the eggs tasted more like water than eggs The sausage was decent It was kind of messy Just over all an ok experience but not great, especially for the costGenerally I’m a fan of comfort inn just not this time

Brad Thurau

Too expensive for the condition of the rooms and the experience we had The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance Paint peeling, doors are splintered, and showers are sub standard

There was no customer service here except the great lady staffing the breakfast bar Twice I went to the front desk to get some issues resolved and twice the front desk was vacant

It was such a warm and welcoming experience at Berrodin Bed & Breakfast The home was comfortable, super clean, quiet and convenient Louie was such a gracious and accommodating host, and we lacked for nothing

Louie is such a kind and gracious man, he made us feel like we’ve known each other for years even though this was our first visit ever I recommend travelers stay here over any other accommodations in the area Thank you Louie, for such an awesome stay!

Phil Seguin

Louie was great Excellent communication and very accommodating I stayed while riding the Ohio to Erie Trail

Louie met me at check in with a Gatorade and a safe place to store my bike He gave me a thorough tour of the Bed and Breakfast and its amenities The rooms were all very clean and comfortable Louie offered great suggestions for dinner and local entertainment and even offered to give me a ride to dinner

Me Myself

We booked our room at Louie’s bed and breakfast on very short notice Louie was a most gracioushost who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable The room was spotlessly clean and there were chocolates and mints for us to enjoy

The B&B is located on a lovely residential street in the center of a picturesque neighborhood Excellent restaurants, Walmart, a movie theater, and a health food store are all in walking distance My son and I had dinner at the “Mustard Seed” and were duly impressed! They offered excellent food, live music and a great atmosphere! As breakfast is included in the more than reasonable price, Louie invited us to help ourselves to hot drinks and a continental breakfast in the morning (I have never seen a more modern kitchen in my life!) In the evening he invited us to hang out in the living room and watch a movie He took time to chat and make sure we had everything we neededShould we ever come to Akron again, we will certainly stay at the Berrodin B&B! Thanks Louie!

We had a great time here, per usual It was our 4th trip and first since it transitioned management The park is expansive, plenty for families to do even on rainy days

My kids loved the gem mining and putt-putt I was impressed by the waterside staff and very responsive lifeguards during a very busy weekendWe were shocked to see that the entirety of the weekend though the shared bathrooms were seemingly completely unattended by staff Items left in showers from morning to night, filthy floors, wet toilet paper & other things on the floors This persisted all weekend The bathrooms are high traffic and really need more attention throughout the day We will still be back, but hoping that this improves!

Kendra Brickley

This is the 1st time I had ever been here My friend invited me and my 5 year old daughter to come and I was skeptical at first because I didn’t know if they’d have much for my daughter to do since she doesn’t know how to swim yet

but after spending the day thereI was pleasantly surprised! They have gem mining, mini golf, jumping pillows, canoeing/kayaking, bouncy houses, lots of inflatables, a splash pad (which my daughter LOVED) and of course they have the lake and a swimming pool and an awesome gift shop and lots of other cool stuff! And while in the lake, children are required to wear a life vest (the life jackets are provided free of cost) We all had a blast and willl definitely come again! Great place for the family and kids of all ages!

S L

We had a great time at the water park The space is huge and has lots of fun activities for your family Several things for the big kids and a smaller slide, swim area and splash pad for your little ones

The bounce pillow was fun Mini golf was fun The volleyball and basketball courts looked fun They have an awesome store for just about anything you might need or forget Today they had live music for the majority of the day They have a lower food place to grab food/ ice cream and an upper deck for the adults They have plenty of bathrooms Overall we had a nice time This place requires and offers life jackets
