My sister and I came to Vino Bello for a girls weekend to celebrate our first Mother’s Day Our room was disgusting There was hair all over the shower from the previous guest, what we’re assuming were food and wine stains down the walls and sticky baseboards that had clearly never been wiped down

We know that many hotels and restaurants have been hit hard by Covid so we politely asked for our room to be cleaned After being assured by management that it had been resolved, we were disappointed to find that nothing had been done other than our beds being remade Another trip to the front desk had them again reassuring us that it would be taken care of Sadly, it was never resolved This type of issue makes you really question what other cleaning measures were being looked over We left grossed out and upset with our entire experienceSeparately, do not come here if you are a parent wanting to get away You no longer have the ability to use the meritage pool amenities (unless you want to pay $60 each for a day pass if it’s available) and only have the option of using the kids pool where you’ll be lucky to get a chair, even if you are willing to sit beside screaming kids in life jackets And lastly, it would be ideal to add a private pumping or breastfeeding space Our room was not ready and were asked to pump next to the bathroom stalls

The room was great but the service horrible, beginning by being tricked into getting pressured to participant in sale presentation No hand soap in the room The list goes on

For the price, there are much better places to stayAs requested in a reply to this review, I tried to call their Owner Care team The instructions provided in the reply were in correct — they just got me to another layer in the call director — and, once I figured out what to do, I get an automated message that there was a 30+ minute wait The poor service I received when I was at the property continues As I will not stay there again, I see no reason to waste anymore of my time with them

Ultimately I wanted to rate this property five stars however I did not have cable and tv service and no one came to fix it after asking twice Over all the rooms and staff were very nice and the property is beautiful I was here for work and it was convenient for me working the Sonoma race track and overall a decent experience just was disappointed that don’t want and came to fix the TV

I have been going to this motel for atleast 20 years They were my favorites forever I even went into labor at this place 19 years ago

Growing up I got kicked out once or twice I had one incident recently as an adult with the same child I went into labor with 19 years ago She is grown now, but she visiting me one day and got into a fight with her boyfriend After me living there for about 8 months straight always paid my rent even if it wasn’t everyday it was still paid Not even a balance when I had to leave They we’re so mad at the incident with my daughter who again didn’t live there I was put out without a question I could not try to explain or anything they didn’t want to hear anything I had to say I was put out with no where to go after being a loyal customer for 20 years The incident caused alot of pressure and problems on me and I didn’t talk to my child for 3 months I understand it’s a business but I think the staff could have gave me another chance or not been so harsh being i was a customer for so long Now this is only My opinion and how I feel about this I still like Motel 7 I just got my feelings hurt a bit I do still recommend people to them often because I am not a hater

This hotel is great if you’re planning on visiting Napa It’s close enough to the wineries and sweat from the hustle and bustle of the touristsOne can see that the hotel is a bit older and in need of some repairs

The carpet in the elevator is in need of a good cleaning The room itself has ample space, with a coffee maker, mini fridge, and a safe in the closet The bathroom was a bit small The toilet didn’t work properly on the last day (wouldn’t flush) so I’m glad that it stopped when we were checking out Overall, the hotel was fine, and we’d return

Sarah Abigail Ibanez, DO

I really enjoyed our stay they even gave us a complementary upgrade due to our celebrations We enjoyed our view of the pool as well as the pond and the staff went above and beyond with a swan on the bed The Only downside was that the area is a little rundown but as soon as you walk inside the hotel it’s very luxurious and stuff are great

The cookies were great and I would still go back It’s at the bottom of Napa valley so it’s a ways to wine country but it was worth it! Highly recommend

Susan

The rooms are very dated The outside lagoon and pool area are nice However, the rooms inside are definitely not up to any Hilton standard

Paint peeling off the walls, the toilet looks like it’s for a child potty training, and overall run down I definitely would not stay here again, unless the entire hotel was renovated, not worth the money at all The restaurant had a good breakfastI only gave it 3 stars because of the staff at the front desk They all were very professional, friendly and helpful

Interesting and neat place to stay The room we had in the Annex building was very spacious and comfortable The bed was supportive and comfortable to sleep on

Everything was clean It was handy to have the little kitchen area with sink and a microwave Would have been nice to have paper towels for the dining tableThe building itself was quiet Train and shouting from an upset individual in the early hours not uncommon in this area Overall, if you find yourself in this area needing a place to stay, this is a pretty good choice

Alison P. Hunter

This place was so good the one tiny bad thing stood out:An insufficient number of shower curtain magnets to hold the bottom seam tight against the tub wall resulted in the clingy wet ghost phenomenon that nobody likes, especially in a public placeThe hotel is so good that you and I just shared moment about a super-mild inconvenienceCheck in was seamless, room exceeded expectations

It was quiet and clean and comfy and I would absolutely recommend it

I was looking for a place to celebrate my wife’s birthday and came across this hotel This place is much nicer in person We got carriage house 103

it was really clean and had a little kitchen, a really nice bathroom with huge glass doors We also had a private patioI do I agree it’s a little tricky finding the parking lot and hotel since everything is in contact less, but the lady from the hotel was very helpful, texting me all the instructions The railway across can be a bit loud at night Other than that, it’s a great place to stay close to restaurants and freeways Prices are very reasonable, being that it’s in san Francisco We definitely would return and stay longer

My family and I have have been coming here since 2021 & we enjoy our stay every visit The daytime staff are always welcoming & hospitable Rooms are nice & we love that pretty much every time we come to stay we get the view we request of Discovery Kingdom

Also, with the cost of prices pretty much everywhere going up, we love that we can just walk to the park & enjoy Our kiddos also enjoyed the pool this time & loved how comfortable the water temperature was We love coming here On a small little note the night staff (weekdays) may want to work on their hospitality We will be back again & soon Thank you Courtyard by Marriott in Vallejo Oh and finally, the hotel manager (Kaitlin) is really nice, hospitality, & cares about the hotels guests Thank you Kaitlin & your wonderful staff

Booked weeks in advanced, but rooms oversold Checked into only room they had left It was not clean, bed unmade and garbage in the room

Smelled strong of marijuana They said they registered a room at a nearby hotel from reserves, but when we got to other hotel we found out Courtyard never called They made no other reservations for us We had to figure out our own lodging, and now I’m still trying to get my money back Do NOT recommend

Corduroy Truey

It was an alright stay and it was comfortable but when you fail to provide the basics such as drinking water, it fails expectations I woke up with a incredibly dry and sore throat but was greeted by the fact that the rooms do not provide cold water and I have to either pay for water upstairs (325$ per bottle) or you’re forced to go downstairs and use the bathroom sink

Not everyone is looking to spend 30$ on literally water

This hotel is solid I’m staying here for almost 4 weeks (for work) and I think that in itself makes it a tad difficult to enjoy With that being said the staff have all been great

The cleaning crew has been nice and have only missed my room once when I wanted it to be cleaned It sucks that there isn’t a free breakfast, but the 24hr snack zone stash by the front that has been very useful

A far cry from it’s sister motel, EZ-8 in San Jose This place is much cleaner and well maintained The washing and vending machines actually work

There’s no microwaves in the rooms, you have to go to the Lobby for that Has a decent channel selection Some sketchy folks staying here, but it’s the cheapest motel on Google, what can you expect?

Julio Valdez

It’s a bit outdated, not the cheapest hotel arround concord, but the service was great the manager worked with us so we could get check in way earlier than we suppose 😀, the location loved it, you can get enywhere you going really fast cuz of it been close to the highway Fridge dosent work, I didn’t need it so I never told the stuff it wasn’t working, but I think that’s something they should have check on any cleanning routine

I’m in WC quite a bit on business and have booked a number of lodging there, but I only stay at Diablo Mountain Inn now because they have everything I need They beat out hotels that are twice the price but aren’t half as nice I’ve seen quite a few of their rooms now and they’re all quiet and clean with no oddly placed mirrors, unusual smells or creepy stains anywhere

There’s nothing worse than checking in to a place at midnight after having worked 12 hours to find a rust-colored, rabbit-shaped patch on the carpetI also appreciate that the DMI rooms have: a refrigerator, a microwave, and a climate control that can be set to put out the perfect amount of white noise that I need to get to sleep The staff go out of their way to see that you can check in and out without a hassle They’ll email or text straight away so you’ll have a contact for any issue, but I’ve never had to use it

CRYSTAL SMART

For anyone who has stayed at Motel 6 and wants to get away from the police activity, the annoying housekeepers knocking, etc Then this Inn is a DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH It was like a breath of fresh air honestly

Comfy bed, beautiful remodeled bathroom (Side note: I don’t like the soap/shampoo dispensers because prior guests can sabatoge) WiFi was strong the whole time, TV cable was decent Staff was friendly Definitely will be back Price was a bit higher but I don’t mind paying for quiet and a good nights rest

Most courteous and knowledgeable staff Lindsey, who helped take care of our room during our stay, was amazing, super nice and very detail oriented The breakfast was more than we ever expected and it was such a wonderful and yummy start to each of our days in Napa

The room was really great and the bed was very comfortable It was also great to have access to the guest laundry so we didn’t have to pack dirty clothes! We will definitely be logging this location as our go to for our visits to Napa every time! Thanks to everyone for such a great stay!

Lauren Mallet

Hotel was in close enough proximity to Napa that it was convenient However, I found it to be pretty dirty For example, the door to my bathroom had a giant splatter all over it

Also, the shower curtain did not come down into the tub and the water would get everywhere in the bathroom Also, IHG has now decided to provide nothing in the room and you have to ask the front desk for everything now, even a pen! I understand this is the Holiday Inn Express but I was expecting more than express attention to detail
