Do not stay here Just don’t I’m 100% convinced any positive review for this place is fake

They don’t clean Cockroaches everywhere We were there for only a few nights, thankfully, but couldn’t wait to leave I checked for bedbugs constantly but I think we lucked out and didn’t get any Every night there were people having fights and screaming The walls in the room were filthy, but easily cleaned with a wet rag – no one had even tried to clean them For some reason there’s an abandoned car in the parking lot, so that was pretty neat The breakfast is a joke, just coffee and some granola bars and muffins I don’t have any good things to say about this place, other than the rare occasion we spoke to someone who worked there, they were nice enough, I guess They just don’t clean anything here See the photos I’d recommend tearing it down and starting overEdit: also it smells like weed and stank

This hotel has requests to share reviews online all over the property I stayed in room 221 on June 4, 2022 I entered the room and it smelled like a dozen ashtrays

I called the front desk to make sure no penalties get charged to me The front desk woman was nice and apologetic about the smell She suggested it was the air conditioner, but I told her it smelled as it did on entry without A/C The toilet seat should have a seatbelt since it’s broken and immediately slides left or right Toilet doesn’t flush Open tank to see a HUGE amount of black mold Reached above the microwave to see if there were any kitchen items (plates, etc) and found an old tooth brush and used napkins Tried to turn on the bedside light and found that someone wrapped the switch with electrical tape rather than replace the light, which doesn’t work even though it’s plugged in Light bulb? Perhaps The bed seems clean and that’s pretty much the whole point As for extended stay in this place? I’m not paid enough for that Signs everywhere bragging about how much they clean but it certainly does not show the level of cleanliness they claim to present

I am currently staying at this hotel  I booked for a last minute weekend getaway  When I pulled up the outside was beautiful

Having never stayed here the outside made me feel like I made a great choice Staff was polite at check in which was great as well Upon entering the room there was a pen top on the floor, just assumed housekeeping dropped it on their way out, should have been my 1st clue There was brown hard water stains in the toilet which was a little off putting and both rolls of toilet paper were low There are small splattered stains on the inside of the bathroom door at the bottom Hate to think of what it could be I checked in after 8pm so I was eager to unwind I tried placing my drink in the freezer but it was completely frozen over Sat on the couch and there were stains all over Had to cover it with towels Opened a drawer and there was someone’s birth certificate in there My husband told me not to worry, we can get past those things, it’s just 2 nights and the bed looked very clean and well made The pillows were horrible and I didn’t sleep well at all Today I requested toilet paper and wash clothes After over 30 minutes and 2 calls, I was advised to locate the housekeeper on my floor for assistance So of course I have to get dressed to do so and I obviously needed to use the bathroom 30 minutes ago, instead I’m hunting down housekeeping Needless to say I won’t stay again These may all seem like small things but grouped together they are a big problem and leads to a horrible stay, especially when you pay good money for good service

The rooms were clean and that’s solely where the two stars comes from It was defiantly not worth the price they charged or the amount of stars this hotel received online The bed was hard as a rock, so needless to say sleep was minimal

There literally is a sign posted at the front desk stating I’d you need any extra towels, see the front desk due to house keeping not coming into rooms where guests are there longer than a day We go down to the front desk and the woman told us every towel was in the washer/dryer so they have none To top the cake, house keeping entered our room without knocking We opened the door and the house keeper acted like nothing happened No apology, no nothing except her going on to the next room knocking on the door before entering like you’re supposed to We thought we had found a nice place to stay when we came down here, but we will be continuing our search for other amenities

Large clean rooms and friendly staff They’re pet-friendly, we stayed with our cat No worries, in and out quickly

The room was clean, the beds were well made, and the place didn’t have any odd smells The only complaint I had was the shower, low water pressure, narrow, small shower head, and not the cleanest tub After a lot of driving I really look forward to a good shower, so this was a let down Aside from that, I would recommend this place

Ryan P

The elevator was broken, so we were forced to use the steps to the third floor Despite asking many times for a room on the first floor due to bad knees, we had to stay on the 3rd floor The toilet didn’t work properly

The bed was not very comfortable at all Parking was also terrible The free breakfast was nice The room was clean The cleaning staff seemed very nice Will not stay again

O. Reua

Hotel room had an unbearable smell similar to throw up The room seemed clean aside from the hand print on the chair, speck of hair on the counter, a stain on the sheet, hole/crack in wall, lifting up floor corners (not captured), and water stained ceilings I forgot to include those after being side tracked on what really bothered me the most; the ceiling

I believe the smell from the ceiling was causing the throw up smell which was probably due to mold growing in that area After checking my bed sheets, I noticed how itchy I was while laying down Besides the room, the staff was nice I would not recommend this area for kids or anyone that is looking to sleep somewhere comfortable (I left earlier than I wanted) On a positive note, it is pet friendly as I saw many people with pets

Paid regular hotel rates for a regular motel stay There are two hotel sites, the check in side to the right, with the double queen beds The rooms with the double queen beds are the ones you want to stay in for about $55-$65 dollars

These are the rooms with the internal corridors The rooms with the external corridors are the motel good The these rooms and the building are unkept They also don’t have refrigerators or microwave It’s the mist expensive good motel I ever started in at $67 dollars a night This side of the property is in need of urgent repairs and upgrade Everything in these rooms are very old and the corridors are jagged rough concrete This side is not even a one star motel But the side with the interior corridors are a solid 2 star I actually like starting on that side The hotel sites have a real breakfast of eggs, sausage, eggs, waffles, coffee and other snacks I must also raise the issue again about three reception taking photo copies of your driver’s license and credit cards on a sheet of paper That’s a high risk identity theft and privacy issue My last stay, I had to strongly object to having both my credit card and license copied I allowed them to copy only my driver’s license However the attendant was a bit rough, but eventually conceded The hotel sites need to work on it’s customer service training of it’s staff, so they no how to speak to customers, even during conflicts I would never stay in Days Inn motels, only their hotels

Jeremy Baltimore

Was trying to make a reservation; called between 8:00 & 8:30 PM The lady on the phone at the front desk was extremely rude and about as helpful as wheels on a peg-leg She made a comment about using a real card to make the reservation and upon telling her that I was using a real card, she laughed and said “Okay” and hung up on me

How this Days Inn still has guests coming in when the staff talks to guests like that is absolutely astounding I assume that Customer Service Skills are not a main priority when working Front Desk at Days Inn & Suites It is a miracle and by the grace of god that I am still interested in stayingI think if they got rid of this moody ‘witch’ at the front desk, they could manage to get a five star rating but until then, its going to remain a three star

Jonay Harris

It serves it’s purpose You definitely get a cheap room though The only things I liked were the room size, the water pressure in the shower, the closet doors being full mirrors, and the look of the sink counter

Other than that it was pretty bad other than the front desk employees being nice The TV was damaged, the a/c had a weird smell coming from it, the microwave and mini fridge didn’t work so I had to throw out my food from the night before, there were stains everywhere, other people’s hair was found in the tub, on the towels, and the sheets, and the bathroom floor looked gross by the shower Not the most hygienic place but if you’re looking for cheap then you’ll get it

Good staff and clean room Very small hotel and parking lot I shouldn’t of parked my truck in but the man at the front desk was very nice and showed me where I could park and boy it was tight but it had to do since it was very late and I was exhausted! The only negative was some of the other clientele wasn’t the best as you could hear late at night shouting and in the morning I could tell this hotel caters to some lower class people but I should of figured for the price I paid

I’m going to be straight to the details because I’m traumatized from this experience I stayed here 2 nights with my family and I booked 2 non smoking rooms online but when I got there, they addressed me to a handicapped room?? Upon entering the room, you’ll be lightheaded from all the heavy smoke smell, and keep in mind I had little kids with me The bedsheets and pillows had black/brown stains on it

The ceiling was crumbling Shower area had dirty towels and the water was also disgusting Couldn’t even shower In the middle of the night, I had waken up to a dry eye and a burning sensation occurred This place is nowhere near safe to stay If you value your well-being, avoid this place at all costs Staff had attitude and anger issues Stay safe everyone

If I could give zero stars I would Overpriced for one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in To start with the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the bathroom reeked of pot

There was not toilet roll holder, the 2 metal pieces were there but the plastic middle bit was not There were ashes or dirt on one of the metal pieces There was dirt and hair in the edge of the tub, long hairs in the tub-I have short hair so definitely not from me The tub stopped draining randomly but was fine the next day The fan in the bathroom was held up by packing tape There was toothbrushing spittle above the sink-we use red toothpaste so definitely not ours The front window had a crack in it The curtain was dirty There was a sock under the bed that didn’t belong to us A jewelry looking thing on the carpet So no vacuuming was done The mirror was smudged The chair came apart when trying to move it The dresser drawers were not straight and broken 2 out of the 3 lamps did not work Part of the base board near the bed was missing with chunks of wall on the floor Asked for 2 more towels, the front desk acted like it was a pain then said I’ll call someone Never got towels Asked the cleaning person the next day when we passed him on the first floor-he said we should as upstairs cleaning person We stopped at the laundry room and asked again They reluctantly gave us towels after half of us having to use hand towels because they would not give us towels The pool is closed because of “Covid” as well as the hot breakfast The sheet had a burn mark The stairs are very rusted and have been painted over

Mohammed Islam

Never have I seen a rude front desk Came in with family and was standing like we were invisible The person at the desk kept doing something else without even saying a hello as if we were beggars

He clearly saw us waiting in front of the desk for a while I gave ample time for him to do his thing until it seemed very rude He chose to revoke the booking, I had my wife and baby with me , we drove for 5 hour to get insulated Is this how Ramada trains their front desk ? The front desk is the first impression of the hotel It’s possible he didn’t keep our booking and filled up the rooms and was ignoring at first to see if we leave He also said they Still doesn’t serve breakfast due to covid-19 You can’t use that excuse forever to cut cost Booking stated breakfast included but not when you get there Bait and switch situation No pool access He told us to go somewhere else

People were very nice and more than accommodatingReviews were good and bad and we were glad we stayed there Would stay again

Food area had cereals, yogurts, waffle machine, coffee, tea and apples Service girl was constantly cleaning and disinfecting eating areas Had high chairs for younger children Worth your while to stop

I don’t know what all those reviews I read last night were about but it’s far from nasty! In fact I’d say it’s pretty decent if your just a regular person looking for a decent room at a great price It’s not Disney but I’m pretty happy with it Basic, Clean, just what the picture says

Of course we had already unpacked but yea, quick check in, polite front desk guy, the only downer is the pool closed, and small parking areaother than that I see no bugs, and I checked my new beds, and clean sheets, no blood stains, no bed bugs, refrigerator works, TV works, a/c works Kids are happy, the one thing I haven’t found out yet is the outside noise or water pressure let’s see how we sleep tonight and if needed I’ll edit this post in the morning So far so good! Will be back surely!

Allegra Austin

I chose this hotel based on the photos they uploaded which I feel like they picked one room, cleaned it took pictures and you will be lucky to get that one room When I first arrived, I found the bedding was already dirty I called down to the front desk and was told I could pick up new sheets and remake my bed, which also wasn’t set on the frame properly causing me to hit my ankle on the frame

There were baby roaches dead and alive, the TV has bad reception, there was no holder for the toilet paper, the hallway smelled of smoke and our room smelled of old cigarette smoke and we had to switch rooms to a less smokey but still stinky room with burn marks all over the carpet and some on the bed as well The sheets were pilling, and cheap Overall spend a few dollars more and get a better hotel, with clean rooms, a toilet paper holder, and customer service

The good: It is a beautiful location and an awesome value Room was clean and nicely appointed with more electrical outlets than any hotel room that I’ve stayed in recently Bathroom was very clean

Nice balcony/patio with chairs and table Room was quiet and no bad smellsThe bad: The furnishings are a bit dated, the tv was tiny, and the mattress was sad I could see the depressions of every guest who stayed here in the past No kiddingConclusion: I would definitely stay here again

Dave Methvin

We stayed in the Octagon, a beautiful old building with charm and spacious rooms The staff was friendly and helpful Although breakfast was included with our room rate, the food was not good

On weekends there’s a meager continental breakfast with onion bagels and chalky pastries During the week there is a “hot” breakfast that adds prefab scrambled eggs and dry breakfast meats

Noah McLaughlin

Great place with a very friendly front desk! Always smiles to make you feel welcomed back! At one point we needed some extra towels so we asked them, and they informed us they were fully booked at the time and doing their best to receive and clean towels from rooms and would get us them as soon as possible They got them to us in time, which we never expected but they did and I was very grateful! The employees really care about their job and the people who stay there

I had high hopes for the property based on reviews on my booking site but the experience was below average for me The room would have been comfortable if it didn’t smell like smoke the entire stay We asked the night we checked in if they could do something about it and instead of moving us they used a bunch of Febreze

That created a masked smoke smell for the first two nights that was tolerable but it seems like the smoke came back up into the room the third night, I assume from a different room The whole floor was non-smoking but that didn’t seem to help The bathroom was pretty run down and the breakfast is really a joke There were enough problems that it seems like management is just trying to hold onto the smoking crowd and riding that wave of customers

Marlik Harris

Wow FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND OTHERS DO NOT BOOK AT THIS LOCATION!! this is the worst sleep inn ever i would never consider this location especially if you are black the staff called 3 police officers on me and my girl and lied to the police told them that it was four people in our car and that we were checking car doors in the lot We was booking a room online from our car when three Police cars approached us telling us what the front desk said , so MANGERS AND CORPORATE WILL BE CALLED TMRW!!!!!!
