Nice small hotel, clean, friendly staff but not enough due to labor shortage I believe The manager is proactive The swimming pool is small and was closed during my visit

Walking distance to Microsoft Breakfast good enough The room was clean with enough towels but giving on the parking lot even at the second floor so plan accordingly Would recommend

EDIT: The owner responded to this review saying they had contacted me and had offered me Marriott points That never happened

I was never contacted nor offered pointsQuite frustrated with my experience with this service I had made adjustments online to my reservations and apparently they did not go through or I made some kind of mistake I was charged for a room that I never stayed in and the front desk person I spoke to was quite rude & condescending saying that he couldn’t give me any kind of refund on the 1 night I was charged although I had the next night still booked I needed to stay there 2 nights so I asked to add an additional night and he wanted to charge me $270 when my original amount was $135 He told me because they were at capacity they couldn’t help me at all with a refund or honoring my original booking price I ended up cancelling the entire reservation I was surprised by the level of service as it was the worst I have received at any Marriott (I am a platinum member and have traveled on a monthly basis for the last 8 years) Definitely unfortunately it seemed like there was no attempt to “make things rights”

A few things that added up over time–I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they’re short staffed but you do NOT get daily house keeping and have to opt to call for housekeeping For a 5 night stay, we were offered one day’s worth of housekeepingYou must call to get towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc

, and when calling at 9:30 am, the girl seemed unsure if she’d be able to get me towels and said the “house man has been cleaning for a while, he should be able to bring you them” to which he did, but it still felt like an odd thing to say The next morning, we had to go to the front desk to get towels and wash cloths because there was no housekeeper onBeing in a nice area, this situation seemed extremely odd for a Marriott owned hotel and again I don’t know if this is due to being short staffed but you pay for a hotel expecting the entire experience, not to check in and THEN be told they barely have housekeeping and you should take out your own trash and leave it at the door by 10 amI’m also not sure if this is a Washington thing as I’ve never been charged for parking at a hotel, but being charged $8 a night for parking and then having to scour the parking lot for a spot is absolutely outrageous My sister has a disability and people were parking in handicap spots with no handicap stickers They have an “overflow” lot which our room was a good walk away and having to walk from there at 1 am by myself after paying for parking is ridiculousThe room is clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff friendly, but overall kind of a bizarre hotel experience that we weren’t expectinglikely due to corporate and nothing to do with in-hotel staff

We stayed here in May, 2022 and enjoyed our stay, however, when we checked in we were charged $7500 for incidentals, and were told it would drop off our card if it was not needed We had no incidentals and the charge did not drop off

I talked with the manager several times but he said he did not know how to remove the $7500 charge that it was up to my bank I ended up having to file a non-fraud dispute claim with my bank, which they took care of I was disappointed in the hotel manager’s lack of knowledge and willingness to take care of this incidental charge, which was not handled properly or professional

I stayed this past Saturday I have never been so disappointed in my life I felt like we checked onto a motel 6

The room was disgusting, there was blood on the wall in the bathroom Hair in the sheets, dog food and fruit snacks under the bed and big yellow stains on the pillows on one of the beds, torn shower curtain Their solution was to move rooms which we did The manager was no help He was like I will give you $25 back Worst customer service I have ever experienced I have photos and will up load if possible

The staff were very sweet, and willing to help They were also really friendly and just awesome in generalThe room was very cozy and clean, and there wasn’t any smell

I slept quite well :)The pool was clean and pretty fun to be inAnd the food was tasty!

Poulsbo Inn and Suites is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a safe, clean place to shower and sleep The staff couldn’t be nicer! I arrived two hours early No problem

They had a room ready for me and I was greeted with a room key and a freshly baked cookie I had a reservation for 3 nights, but the relative I was visiting (I had surprised them by visiting) invited me to stay with them When I canceled two nights out of the three the staff was 100% pleasant about it The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable The exterior is appealing and has gorgeous landscaping I didn’t have a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked inviting I love this place I hope to have the occasion to stay there again

TL “MayBeeSheWrites” Johnson

If you are looking for a relatively cheap yet somewhat pleasant lodging, this is the place I entered the room to find jerky on the floor and a used coffee stir stick on the bed cover The toilet had a constant run and the bathroom was tiny, almost too small

Not enough counter room which is something most individuals traveling needThe carpet was terribly dirty, definitely pack extra socks to walk around in the room Actual ceramic or glass cold would have been nice in the room to hear up water for tea or instant coffeeThe employees were pleasant enough Breakfast was a sit down event but it would have been nice to offer more diabetic friendly choicesFinal conclusion is it’s a middle of the road lodging experience Cleaner rooms would benefit everyone Finding food on the carpet, the stir stick on the bed covering and the candies that dinner someone lost behind the shared night stand might have increased my rating They did have a The Gideons International Bible in the night stand but did not have a single extra blanket to use

This hotel consistently provides FIVE-STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We have stayed there almost 30 nights in the past year The rooms are clean and well maintained What stands out the most at this hotel is the positive attitude of ALL the employees

They are all intensely focused on customer service and satisfaction Much of the credit for the employees’ performance has to go to the manager, Joy From hiring quality people, training them well, and creating a positive work environment, she also leads by example Besides Joy, we most recently received outstanding service from Kayla at the front desk She was so great to work with, especially as we were making modifications to our reservation several times Hats off to Joy, Kayla, and the entire Poulsbo staff We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay there!

Just returned from 3 nights at the Greenlake Guesthouse and highly recommend it to anybody who is coming to Seattle Excellent location right in front of a gorgeous Green Lake, little restaurant area literally a block away and a large shopping area about 10 min away along the lake The house itself is very nice, well appointed and cozy

The room was very nice (Greenlake room) and the bathroom clean and very nice including a jacuzzi tub for 2 which we used once Breakfast is good, very well presented and tasty The owners are very nice people that care about their guests, Julie is personable without being in your face and is full of dignity and sure is and should be proud of her place Certainly our new go to place in Seattle:)

Colleen Young

Stayed for 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer The accommodations were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I needed I really appreciated that they had shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers instead of small plastic bottles

The wine and snacks in the room were a nice touch as well Julie was incredibly welcoming, available, and overall a wonderful host The breakfasts were delicious The location is fantastic – right across the street from Greenlake, which is surrounded by green lawns and biking and walking trails Greenlake is centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go Overall, good value for the price Cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to go back

Joe Thomas

We spent our anniversary at the Greenlake Guest House in the Greenlake Room We had the best time escaping the Texas heat for some cool weather, great hospitality and fresh seafood Everything was perfect from when we arrived to the day we had to leave

Breakfasts were laid back and delicious (especially the eggs benedict) Each day, we walked in the park across the street Also, there are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance

We were moved here from our original hotel and it was a nice clean room and the staff were friendly We had a bit of an issue with the room but the morning staff had it all sorted out when I got there to inquire if we had to change rooms or not It was a little out of our way but nothing major

The beds were comfy, it was nice to have 2 separate rooms, but the place could use some updating – carpets, curtains, furniture The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment but the french toast was pretty good

Karissa Colledge

The room was very clean and had all the needed amenitiesBreakfast was really good although the staff started cleaning up all the food 30 minutes before breakfast was overThe pool was ok, it looked like it needed to be cleaned and the water was very cold

Overall the space was nice

C C

The hotel is generally well kept I was really surprised at the lack of housekeeping Four days and not one time did someone come to clean

My trash was overflowing and all throughout the halls bags of trash were left outside guests doors I am a very clean person but it would of been nice if someone came to empty the trashI stay here for work and thought I would try it out Don’t think I’ll be back next month

The attendant was very kind and kept everything clean for everyone The room was clean and bed was just as comfy as my own at home Stores, freeway, and food very close by Some people complained about noise in reviews, this isn’t a new buildingif you want something fancy pay more and sleep somewhere else If we ever come back to Seattle are we will stay here again it was perfect for us

We stay at Hiltons all the time and this was the worst customer service we have ever received We were travelling for a wedding and our flights were delayed We got to the hotel shortly after midnight and the young man Camden working late hours at the front desk told us he just marked us as a no-show

He said he was correcting it immediately and all was fine, but when we checked out- our bill was almost $300 higherNot only Camden cancelled our reservation, charged a no-show fee, and booked a new one at higher ratesMary the GM was extremely rude and hostile towards us, refused to fix the mistake and told us, “so, what do you want me to do about it?”Spent an hour on the phone with customer service who did their best to make it right, but this lady is terrible- Also- bar/restaurant was never open No room service Toilet wouldn’t fill after every flush Spend your money elsewhere with more courteous management that deserves it

Zachary DeCosta

1 Pool was closed the entire stay2

The bar was closed the entire stay3 The ATM was broken the entire stay4 There was no coin machine in the laundry room5 The front desk didn’t sell any laundry soap6 The kitchen ran out of bacon and red potatoes for breakfast7 The phones were downMost Importantly:My wife left her purse there which also had my son’s medication We had already driven 30 minutes away When we called the hotel, nobody answered We called repeatedly I had to call Hilton customer service to file a complaint That complaint caused a manager to call us They could not find the purse The purse was found the next day and nobody called us When we called back 2 days later, we were told that it was sitting in the assistant manager’s office

Winston R

If you like hot showers and a friendly front desk, stay away Boiler apparently “broke” TWICE during our 3 night stay so there was no hot water for us until the early morning we left To make it worse, the staff lied and was rude to us about it being broken

No compensation or anything for the trouble because we had booked through our credit card company’s travel site Riiight You couldn’t book a night’s stay somewhere else for us? You couldn’t offer us a free breakfast? Whatever!

The facility was quiet and clean and comfortable Even with shared (very clean and spacious) bathrooms it felt more private than a traditional hotel I appreciated the sink and mini fridge in the room, as well as the well stocked communal kitchen

Right in Fremont, there are plenty of shops and restaurants and night life for entertainment Parking can be tricky but there is a low cost lot a block or so away as well as parking in nearby residential neighborhoods if you are willing to look I will definitely stay there again!

Kevin Riedl

Stayed for two nights while visiting Seattle for fun I’ve been to a few hostels and this one was definitely the nicestPros: PERSONAL MINI FRIDGE!!! Personal sink+mirror, comfy bed and pillows, decent computer desk and chair, ample electrical outlets everywhere, walls painted dark (great for sleeping in), a coat rack, lockers for storage, and a comfy chair

The building/rooms have keyless entry Bathrooms and showers were wonderful, zero complaints Kitchen area was cool, though we never used it I really enjoyed the vibe of the place as well, very 21st centuryCons: you can either pay for parking, or park in the neighborhood nearby, I was always able to find a spot though The curtains were nice, but the blinds behind them were broken and only extended 2/3 the length of the window The walls are PAPER thin, which was unfortunate when our neighbor had an 8am meeting where he was loudly talking (maybe don’t do that if you stay here)I think I’ve covered everything about our 2 day stay It was overall very pleasant and I will definitely consider this place again the next time we want to stay in Seattle

Jordan Amrani

Chris and the team at Hotel Hotel are absolutely phenomenal! Rooms are clean and spacious, and the area is perfect! We came here 5 years ago and had an absolute blast, and I decided to surprise my partner with a trip reliving all of the fun! We got a private room this time around, which was amazing, and while on the trip I proposed (she said yes!) When we returned to our room we found a bottle of bubbles and a couple of glasses, absolutely incredible touch If you find yourself looking for affordable digs in Seattle, look no further than Hotel Hotel Hostel!!

I can’t not say enough how great our stay with Pat, Carrol and Gary at the Hideaway was The level of care they put into your stay with them is unmatched The environment they create is so welcoming, it felt like staying with old friends! Breakfast was always delicious, and wine downs were a must

They had great recommendations for places to visit for wine tasting and dinner We can’t wait to come back

Tiffany Cote

I took my husband up for his birthday and a day of wine tasting and I can’t say enough about the hospitality from Hideway Lodge Bed and Breakfast We enjoyed the recommendations for wineries and places to eat that were sent ahead of time and had a lovely time at the Wine Down and breakfast the next morning was wonderful Our hosts were so very pleasant to talk with and we are looking forward to going back!

Savannah Broadway

My partner and I came up for a few days of wine tasting and relaxation this past spring and, like most folks, our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer All three hosts were gracious, lovely people who took care of us down to the littlest detail of giving me some TUMs during some stomach upset They made fantastic local recommendations for wineries, eateries, and plant nurseries and we enjoyed every one of them

Between my partner and myself, we have some complicated food restrictions, but both breakfast and the Wine Down accommodated them brilliantly and deliciouslyThe grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with a beautifully-illustrated map highlighting the trails and landmarks and a variety of charming, quirky decorations scattered throughout The house is similarly lovely, spacious, and well-appointed If you’re having any doubts about staying here, put them aside because The Hideaway is well-worth the investment

The Cascadia is an older property that is very well maintained and managed Our check-in could not have gone better We were clued in as to a good place to park near a useful entrance for the quiet room that we had requested

All expected options were available at a well presented very typical complimentary breakfast We stayed three days and found it to be completely satisfactory Although we started staying here because we had friends in Everett, we continued our stay and used it as a base of operations for tourist activities in Seattle The hotel is but a 20-minute drive to a light rail free park and ride lot The train goes directly into the city

Liz McRary

The room was made available early which was very convenient for us It was clean, and smelled nice Checking in was easy and the location was convenient for easy access to Mcmenamins concerts, hiking, and other activities

Check out was at noon which is really nice when trying to relax on a trip Overall, I would Totally book a stay here again

Connor N.

Well-maintained, fairly quiet rooms with super friendly front desk staff Some road noise does get through the windows and conversations can be heard through room doors, but activity is pretty rare during normal sleeping hours Hallways and stairwells occasionally smell of smoke, but to no fault of the hotel or their staff

Overall a great selection for an affordable and comfortable hotel near downtown Everett!

We stayed at La Quinta Inn at NE Northup Way Kirkland, WA in December 2021Receptionist guy in the night shift was very nice and decent But the hotel itself is not very clean Elevator smells filthy and floor is pretty nasty

Room was very cold when we got there , they didn’t run the heater and smells like old stale carpet They also allow pets which is ok but if you are allergic to pet hair then it’s not the hotel for you You will see traces of pet hair on the bed linensReceptionist woman in the morning shift is not so friendlyThe free breakfast are some oranges, yoghurt and muffins So just a warning if there’s like 2 or 3 of you eating they will not provide a paper bag or any kind of bag so you have to put the food items in your coat or prepare to manage it along with everything else ( masks , luggage, kids/babies etc) I lost valuable items in the room and unfortunately nobody called from the hotel yet to return the items I hope someone with a good conscience realizes that the items are important to their guests and return itTo be fair to them a manager emailed us regarding this concernA month later Still waiting for someone to call us from this hotel and return the wedding band and engagement ringUpDate April 2022This hotel property address in Northup Way apparently is closed or under different management

The folks that work here are all extremely nice, at least everyone I met so far I feel very at peace here I think the loudest person here may be me

Really though, it’s completely quiet and utterly relaxed The man who helps me at the front desk on a regular basis couldn’t be more hospitable The rooms are good size a wonderful deal !!! I’ve paid $50 more for the same size room or smaller It’s a little rough on the outside, (mainly old paint) The woman who took my reservation over the phone She actually helped me to the point of a FREE early check in Nobody is promised that I’m sure, it was terrible weather out and cold She allowed her heart to help This place is really like that Well worth a little extra commute What’s kindness worth these days? I still can’t believe it’s as affordable as it is

Talon Windwalker

Room was fairly comfortable, and I appreciated having a recliner so I could put my feet up Not enough pillows and no extra pillow or blanket in the closet They can’t say they currently offer a breakfast

You could get a piece of fruit and a very small yogurt, and that’s basically it Staff have to hand you the minimal food, yet the spoon, lid for your coffee, and the stirrers have to be grabbed by you which means people’s fingers are likely touching the stuff which will be going in your mouth *eyeroll*Your only option for a sweetener in the lobby (for coffee or tea) is sugar When I asked about artificial stuff, the staff said “We’re asked that all the time, but this is all we have” If you’re asked for this “all the time” why not supply it? Not like it’s expensive!Location is decent and convenientHallway on the 3rd floor was FREEZING I needed my jacket any time I left my room Thermostat in the room couldn’t be lowered beyond 65 I like a chilly room, and there is too much traffic noise for me to leave the window openBathtub is small, and no bars or anything for people who might need some help with stability Just an FYI Toilet paper roll was under the sink cabinet which made it difficult to roll so would rip after 2 squares

To start, my room was ready early I had booked a tower king room with a view and it did not disappoint The room was nicely updated, very clean, big walk in shower, and a beautiful view of the water

One of my favorite parts though had to be the bed The sheets were so soft and almost silky and the mattress had a nice firmness to it The hotel staff was extremely helpful in helping me find my way around and the cleaning ladies were the sweetest I’d definitely recommend staying here

This hotel was pretty clean Once you’ve stayed in a gross Vegas hotel you appreciate the efforts housekeepers take to keep things clean The staff here is great

Small issues were that the body wash container was bone dry empty when we checked in Hot tub wasn’t functional for the three nights we stayed Breakfast was on the better side of the ones I’ve had in hotels Egg white omelettes and ready made oatmeal was a nice surprise The gal running the breakfast fast room was super and had such a pleasant attitudeShe greeted us each morning and she was always busy keeping things stocked and fresh Breakfast tables were cleaned immediately when someone left The bed was comfortable for someone with bad arthritis and the chaise lounge was a nice touch I needed a little more light to work at the desk, but the shades rolled up and we had a few surprising sunny afternoons Convenience store and restaurants within walking distanceEverything worked out well for a great stay Will definitely chose this location again Thank you!

I can’t say anything but good things about this hotel! The man behind the desk was so helpful and the hotel itself was one of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed in Our room was by the freeway which sucked a bit but the overall stay was great I accidentally left something behind after checkout and the employee (I believe his name is Jeff

?) Was so sweet and so helpful to ship my item back to me I will definitely stay here when given the chance to again and highly recommend it ! It has a pool and a jacuzzi and there’s a lot of bars and restaurants 3 minutes away (driving) Thank you so much :)))
