I have stayed at this location multiple times since May 2021 and I have never been disappointed The apartment-style rooms offer all the proper amenities to make it feel like a “home away from home” They are clean, comfortable, well-designed and are equipped with everything necessary to make my stay comfortable

The breakfast is excellent with eggs, breakfast meats, waffle-maker, fruit, yogurt, warm croissants and excellent coffee The staff has always been professional and courteous They provide every means to satisfy special requests They check in via text to make sure all needs are met This is the only hotel I will stay at when working or having fun in the San Jose area

The four stars is for the overall quality of the grounds which were in need of improvement Quality is what do you expect from a Homewood suites My room had dedicated office which was quite large

The bedroom was spacious in the walkway between the bathroom to the toilet and tub was wide and offered a nice sized closet This is an interesting location but there are plenty of restaurants around here is a quick trolley ride will get you to dozens more

First the pros: I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks for a work trip as it was within walking distance of my office Check in was super easy and the staff at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful Nice to have a digital room key from the Hilton app and you can also use an app to do laundry

Breakfast was okayCons: My room was right off Trimble so it was quite noisy I woke up several nights to loud traffic and was also woken up by some construction noise before 8am on a Saturday morning from a crew right outside my bedroom window So much for sleeping in but to be fair, not in Hilton’s control The pool was also closed the entire time I was here I wish I would have known that at the time of booking I spent more time out of my room than in However, while there over the weekend, I noticed my room was quite dirty Lots of dust on surfaces, including the bedroom dresser, ceiling fan, walls, back of the bedroom door, etc The cleaning staff comes every 5th day and did come the Monday after I arrived Dust was still there when I got back to my room The staff did not replace the almost empty toilet paper roll or leave any extra behind I requested more from the front desk three times while away at work but it was never dropped off at my room I eventually got it myself late one evening when I returned from a work dinner I can live with all of that BUT the icing on the cake occurred late tonight as I packed up my suitcase to leave I noticed something shiny out of the corner of my eye in the space between the bed and the nightstand When I reached to grab it, to my disgust I realized it was an opened used condom wrapper! Sure as hell wasn’t mine! That means it had been there for the entire two weeks and the staff had at least TWO opportunities to get rid of it but left it behind I’m so grossed out it now makes me wonder if they even changed the sheets before I arrived because I don’t see how you could miss that when putting a new fitted sheet on the bed Will be talking with hotel staff first thing tomorrow morning and will not be returning

I stayed in a room with king size bed and a small terrace The room was comfortable and clean They left several articles for personal cleaning in the bathroom that I appreciated

As well as a iron with iron table and a hairdryer The fridge, microwave and coffee machine were in good shape tooI took the breakfast every morning It was the same every time bus they had enough to choose something different every 2 daysI enjoy my stay here The personal was amiable and helpful

Fluid “G.O” Mechanics

It’s really not worth it to stay here Pay the extra 10 to 30% and get a decent room in a decent hotel, where the AC is not as loud as a jack hammer, and the tenant in the next room doesn’t knock on your door at night and asks you to lower the music on the small radio the hotel provides, and where you don’t have to listen to your other neighbor’s phone conversations The staff are cross- a good morning can go a long way

Breakfast is not really breakfast, not worth it and everything is stale I had a second floor room and there was no elevator so I had to struggle carrying my luggage up for my 4 day stay I kept the shades off because I didn’t feel safe with all the balconies connected through the same deck and only separated by a 2 ft divider Never again

Rachel

The hotel was back off the main Street and very quite The check-in and out process was quick and easy The rooms were nice and had private patios around a nice courtyard

The property was very nicely maintained This is one of the cheaper options in the area but you definitely get your moneys worth with clean rooms, a nice basic breakfast, and the pet friendlyness

The manager, who I believe is named Nick, was by far without a doubt the nicest and best Hilton employee I’ve ever met As a diamond member, I’ve met tons and tons of hotel employees but this guy went above the rest He was training a new person who he treated very respectfully, upgraded my room for free, and called in to check on me about an hour after checking in

Hilton should promote this guy and pay him to travel around and train other hotels on how to treat guests I’ve noticed a big decline in hospitality since COVID at all branded hotels but this again was by far above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in the past decade Give this guy a raise!!

Malcolm Phillips

The service was great Rooms were pretty good Shower control was a little confusing as it didn’t work the same as the basin

The gym was tiny and had many weights missing Pool was niceBreakfast didn’t have any non-dairy milk available but I made do All up it was a nice stay

Fred CD

Nick at the front desk was very down-to-earth and knowledgeable and at check in was super fast When the room I was in was showing reserved for the next day when I tried to extend for two more days Nick worked some more magic and not only had me keep the same room type but was able to keep me in the same room without moving which is a pain if you’ve already settled in your room but Nick took care of that at first I thought he was a motivated employee come to find out he’s the general manager which mildly surprised me some general managers or managers can come off with a chip on their shoulder Overall my stay was great the rooms are a little dated but still comfortable and this Hampton Inn is a little less expensive for the area so reflected in the price

The breakfast like at most Hampton had a lot of options the waffles with scrambled eggs sausage oatmeal muffins good coffee and nothing ever ran out Would stay again If you’re looking for modern and new Hampton this wouldn’t be it but it is still very clean with a great housekeeping staff Thanks Nick!!

I loved my last trip to Palo Alto, for work in the mid-90s, thanks to this wonderful B&B My room was small, as was the bathroom, but I didn’t mind I love the atmosphere of an older building that’s well maintained

The breakfast in the dining room was like family, and I met some very nice fellow travelers I hope to go back, but on my own, not for work Highly recommended

Heidi Meyer

We were only in town for a few days (sadly), but absolutely loved our stay at The Cowper Inn! Excellent location – walking distance to University Avenue’s cafes and shops etc Really responsive and incredible communication with Hugo from Cowper Inn management – many many thanks for approving our very late check out on departure day – this was SO much appreciated! Thanks again for a wonderful stay – we look forward to returning soon!

Cowper Inn is a nice Bed & Breakfast in Palo Alto The buildings (yes, there’s more than one) are well kept, clean, and comfy The room I had was spacious and well furnished with a nice, small bathroom attached

My only complaint is that the shower was super small for me Being 6’4″ I kept whacking against the walls while trying to get clean

This should have been my first option for planning a Father’s Day Weekend get away with my family Compared to another hotel in San Jose was just not a good fit for a family environment or service and amenities This is like day and night

I like this Quality Inn San Jose Airport much better than the other “airport” located hotelMainly in SJ to visit the SJ Center for the Arts Although the first hotel was under ten minutes from that place, this Quality Inn location was a fit further drive from our visit, it is well worth the other “airport” location was horrible surroundings (people) and in generally unsafe for a family with childrenDuring this post pandemic period, the hotel is more in tuned in and intuitive to the customers needs Hot Breakfast -great Room, amenities fantastic Great location: close to freeway access, restaurants, Gas Station across the same street Overall a better location that the other initial hotel stayThe staff is friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating The room was fantastic The building in general is great

Pratyush Rai

Nice rooms, with prompt service on every alternate days Will certainly prefer it againOnly for the location, I am considering it as 9

5/10 As for a newcomer to San Jose, there’s just Jack in the box or Tirupathi Bhimas at a walkable distance Otherwise, Taco Axolotl food truck saves the day or Rotten Robbies (across the road) can get you some sandwiches/burgers/bagels, the concern will be only for the night However, if you have a car to drive around, or grubHub/Doordash installed – the location is 10/10 There is even a Pinewood park close by You can get 66 VTA bus nearbyNothing that can be disliked about the stay Although my room was facing the street, barely got disturbed by traffic Breakfast was worthy All in all, pretty decent

Management: 5/5, super professional and friendlyLocation & Amenities: 5/5, close to everything: downtown, work places, highway entrances Pool, hot tub, roof, common spaces are all really wonderful “Green room” for disposing of trash is a big improvement over having to pull out your own trash cans or interact with a stinky outdoor dumpster

Noise: 2/5, train is very loud and frequent including at night Also, bottom floor sounds from upstairs tenants walking is quite loud It doesn’t really bother us adults, but our infant had to adjust to get used to it and still gets startled awake sometimes by noise Our neighbors are super respectful and I’m sure they’ve heard our child crying too — it’s mainly the ambient noises Just be warned if you have a young kid, you might have to go through an adjustment period before they tolerate the noiseOther: the electronic keypad is quite finicky in the elevator I’ve taken several elevator trips up and down because I couldn’t get it to scan in time The garage spaces are quite small and would be hard if we had bigger vehicles (we have a Smart car and a compact SUV) There have been a number of break-ins to the basement storage area ATT provides gigabit fiber service to this location and it’s a big improvement over Comcast Moving in/out can be a bit tricky because there’s very very limited street parking and the doors / elevator swiping doesn’t make it easierOverall this place is such a big improvement over our old apartment (yay in-unit laundry) that I can’t dock it more than one star for the little things

Lisa Jackson

I do not recommend living here We are on the second floor and I have had to complain numerous times about the noise from the above neighbors Seems there isn’t any sound barrier between floors

Will drive you nuts! Trains are incessant, wakes you at all hours of the night Gardeners come every Monday am at exactly 8am, nothing like having multiple blowers at your window to wake up to, and last but not least, pulling garbage bins out at 430 in the morning two days a week, making noises that sounds like gun shots (I was so startled the first time I heard them!) Oh, I should also mention I’ve had to call the cops several times because of homeless people having mental breakdowns, screaming outside my windows So disruptive, especially while working I would not recommend living here

Myriam Korstanje

I can’t say enough great things about living at 100 Moffett! What sets 100 Moffett apart in addition to the beautiful modern apartments and extensive amenities, is the five star service Luis, property manager, is exceptional He’s quick to respond to requests and is always pleasant and helpful

Kimberly, office manager, goes above and beyond with her customer service, and is lovely and friendly 100 Moffett has given me a place to call home for several years where I feel safe and enjoy a stylish, luxurious apartment 100 Moffett has been my community where I feel welcome and am part of an amazing Silicon Valley neighborhood in downtown Mountain View I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exquisite, luxury apartment home

David Grasmick

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Do NOT stay here I was charged $50 for having a guest after 10PM

They actually spied on me to listen for other people in the room This is a fact, as I had to book another night for work, when I finally got someone to answer the front desk they confronted me and dad and son said they heard me with a visitor One of the owners locked me out of my room, son of the hotel manager and told me to apologize to his dad They won’t pick up the front office phone If I wasn’t on business, I would have left day 1 Get yourself a motel 8 where you won’t have the drama WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I got a very nice/ clean room, comfortable bed, very hygiene room, smelling good, very convenient microwave/ small refrigerator Is good service for the price, I been staying in another places and I couldn’t find the same service from the front desk/room as I received from April and the other representative I recommend to stay in this place, if you want a clean and comfortable bed to rest, because here everything is free of smoke

If you request not 🚭 smoking room,is what you got I been staying in other places and I have requested every time not smoking, and always have received dirty and smelling bad roomI have reviewed some comments for travel inn negative, but I have experienced differentThank you for your friendly services

Celeste Drake

Overall a very pleasant stay The lady April helped me check in and out and was super nice Room was clean and smelled great

You can tell its an older building so things are worn but everything worked and was clean Bed was extremely comfortable for a hotel bed Downside was no continental breakfast, whole lobby is locked down and all business is done thru small overnight window

Shauna Mundt

Staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfy It’s on a main street so can be a little noisy but the location is conveniently located to gas stations, restaurants, The highway, and Shoreline Ampitheatre My only complaint is the teeny tiny bath towels, they don’t cover much and are pretty thin

Got ur money this place is a great deal!
