Clean rooms, recent fresheningGroup getaway, 13 people for one night looking forward to relaxing in hot tub The tub apparently has been broken for several months but not mentioned when reserved

We were told ‘ you didn’t ask ” mgr refused to compensate saying she had already given us 1000 off the rental of the conference room

Donna Kammueller

Poor management I reserved a handicap room for my two elderly parents for their safety I wanted them to have a walk in shower

We did not get a handicap room because they were all being painted They stated we up graded your room at no extra charge This was not an upgrade at all Management should have looked ahead and planned out and painted rooms according to what has been booked Why on earth would you paint all the handicap rooms at the same time This location needs new management and I would never recommend staying here

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the king one bedroom suite with our children The pool was quite cold, but very cool to be a saline based pool

Not too many of those in this area The lobby was pleasant, well lit and inviting Parking was a breeze and there were plenty of options for dining in the areaThe breakfast was amazing each day and the options were plentiful Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we asked for additional sheets and towelsThe reason for a 7 is due to the condition the room was in when we arrived The dishwasher had dirty dishes (mainly ones that were packed too tight) and could not get clean There was a half eaten donut under the pull out bed and a large stain on the couch cushion The motorized shades in the bedroom did not function properly and the blackout guide had fallen off the wall In the bathroom, the amount of mold/mildew in the shower was very unappealing and clearly was not being cleaned fullyI would recommend home 2 suites, but this location needs some work

This is a very nice hotel When we arrived to check in staff was super friendly and nice They even gave us some complimentary water to take up

They even directed us were everything was Elevator, pool, Gym The free breakfast is very good Bagels, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, breakfast sandwiches We chose to stay here because the wedding we were attending had blocked rooms I am so glad they chose this hotel because it is very nice and we had a great stay!

We’ve stayed at a few different Home2 locations and one thing we’ve liked about our stay is that upon arrival each room is fairly clean…I would say really clean, but I’m a bit picky when it comes to cleanness (at this location our room was a bit dusty and there was some garbage still on the floor) I am only giving it a two star review today instead of a 4/5 star review for a couple reasons The first is we requested some housekeeping (taking out garbages, replacing dirty towels with clean towels, and bringing extra Kleenex) before leaving for the day; however, when we returned nothing we requested had been done which was very frustrating after a long day out doing things with our 5 kids

The second reason is that we discovered that our air conditioner unit was leaking right as we were ready for bed the first night so the floor between it and one of the beds was extremely wet We let the staff know the next morning and all that was said was maintenance would be told The floor continued to get wet while we were out and it grew to being wet almost the whole width of the bed The bed sheets/blankets that touched the ground during the night also soaked up some of that water Needless to say it was gross (wet feet/socks; squishy, wet carpet; and wet sheets/blankets) and annoying (having to wear shoes in the room to stop wet feet/socks and having to climb in/over others to get in the bed) I had hoped while we were out someone would come check it out and maybe at the very least put a fan on it to help dry out the carpet I was not pleased with this stay

I got married next door on Friday 8/19 The hotel staff was very friendly in the process, even when the date to book in the block somehow got pushed early, they fixed it right away for me The cookies were great, the staff was very nice and let us play board games in the dining area Thursday night

The front desk woman (I can’t remember her name) was so great when a man who was a danger to everyone and clearly on something was harassing guests She handled it and called the police My now husband and brother in law stood in the lobby near her just incase something were to happen The staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly The only reason I am taking off a star is because my cousin, who is also one of my bridesmaids, woke up Saturday with bed bug bites She said her and her boyfriend killed one and took it to the front desk and compared it to a picture of a bed bug online and it was exact They gave her a refund for Thursday and Friday night, which was very kind, it’s just something you don’t want to have to deal with because housekeeping should be checking mattresses every time they clean She had to bag all of her stuff and disinfect and steam everything And on top of that she’s really itchy now I don’t entirely blame the hotel because I know they get brought in by guests, I just think they should have a better system for checking or maybe just steam the mattresses with a hot steamer every time they clean every room Overall it was great, that was the only bad experience

Very friendly front desk- the baked cookies are nice The pool and hot tub were very clean! We were the only ones in there so it was nice There is a cute patio coming off the pool room

Pool is also open until midnight! The rooms are clean, beds are somewhat comfyThe continental breakfast is great! Wonderful selection of food, including a waffle maker which is a bonus Breakfast goes until 930 on the weekdays and 1030 on the weekends so that’s helpfulHotel was extremely quiet We heard nothing at night!Hotel is right by a Kwik Stop too!

Greg Scott

Clean My mattress was so worn out we stripped the bed and flipped the mattress It was much better after that

The AC in my room didn’t work very well The temperature swings were huge The room gets hot before the unit kicks on again I ended up with a setting of 67 degrees It was the best happy medium I could come up with The place was spotless though and to me that’s one of the most important things

I am so disappointed in this hotel I have stayed at many sister hotel of this one and always had a great experience until this time They have completely ruined it for me! I reserved a room using bookings

com and when I contacted the hotel to make sure they had a microwave in the room, I was told they didn’t have a room available for me And that bookingscom over books them all the time So I had to find another hotel Then you charged me for the room and said I was a no show! So I literally paid for a hotel room I was told you didn’t have! Then I called and left a message for a manager to return my call and I wanted a refund, absolutely no return phone calls and I was still charged! I do not recommend this hotel for anyone! Go across the street, they were great!

The nice thing about this place is the location to the freeway and ice arena Otherwise it is not a good experience The room was decent, but it is a noisy hotel

We did not help with bringing a hockey team, but it would be noisy no matter what The pool was not open and they do not communicate that during the time of booking Doesn’t seem like it ever will be based on what was visible This was the most shocking thing to hear in Wisconsin You can not have an adult beverage in the lounge area Since there is nothing on site a couple parents came down to discuss a dinner plan and a few of them had a beer in hand The lady at the counter asked if everyone signed 2 forms when they checked in? Then we would know there is no tolerance for alcohol in public areas I understand this may have been an issue before, but this was just a couple people casually talking about taking the noisy kids out of here I mean we were trying to help them since the pool was closed I would value some nicer people and better communication over the pool, but this place seems like they want it to be empty Very strange, but I don’t recommend going here, but your miles may vary

Been a local of the area for many years and stayed here for a few months straight some years back and were quite satisfied with our visit thenWe moved out of state a few years ago and came back to visit familyLike many other reviewers we learned of the pool being out of service upon arrival

There is no mention of the pool being out of service on their MOBILE website when checking on our PHONES, as most of us tend to doRegarding the pool, I’ve noticed a long history of varying reasons throughout the reviews I’m struggling to understand why they aren’t more forthcoming about the matter Their justification seems to be “it’s on our [desktop] website”, albeit in a very inconspicuous locationThe LVP flooring in the room was nice Bed was rather comfortable Bathroom decor was fashionable Room furnishings were modest but pleasant Parking lot needed to have the residual snow removed Side door locks were not functioning, which left the building unsecuredI wish the owners success in overcoming their challenges

We’d made arrangements to check in after hours A person came out from the kitchen and asked if we needed help (We didn’t)

That was the only person we saw There was not even anyone available at checkoutWe three ladies had several issues during our 1-night stayOur room was apparently located above the bar Beginning about 11:00 pm when the 3 of us were just getting to bed , music began blaring & pounding from below, loud enough to vibrate the floor It didn’t let up until nearly 2 amThen unfortunately we were awakened early by the sun There were shades at the windows, but they really needed black out curtainsI was the senior of the group I was not able to get a shower The spa tub was deep & the sides quite high, & there were no grab bars I could not get in itThere was no counter space at all in the bathroom making it difficult to put on makeup or do hairThere was no coffeemaker in the room, but we did find two down by the elevator Though I have a Keurig at home, these were quite different There were no instructions for using themThe facility was clean & the beds were comfortable, but all things considered I would not choose to stay again nor recommend it

Important caution: When they say “our front desk closes at 8pm”, they mean there is no staff on site at all after that time I booked a get-away stay here for my wife She was uncomfortable staying there alone without any staff or security person on site

They lock the front door and that’s about it She spent a couple of hours sitting in the room and then decided she was uncomfortable staying there overnight I expressed this to the hotel and asked for a partial refund since I didn’t feel it was clear on the website that there is no on-site presence at all in the evening – they informed me there would be zero refund as they believed “front desk closes” should be interpreted as zero staffMy wife had some other problems with the hotel room also (small hairs in the bathtub, poor room lighting, etc), but this is my primary caution to other people looking to book this hotel And my only major complaint is the lack of any amount of refund, given that safety concern she had and the fact that she didn’t really use the room They also indicated to her in person that there could be a refund, only to tell me there would be no refund when I sought one afterwards Given how the hotel chose to handle the transaction, we won’t be booking here again

I was absolutely delighted by the cleanliness of this inn The location itself is unremarkable but what set this place apart from any number of places I’ve stayed in last 6 months was the staff Every single person here goes above and beyond to provide a great experience

Breakfast here was much higher quality food than at Super 8 or Motel 6 The staff ensure that all items are stocked from the moment they start serving until the end of service I was stunned by how well the staff attended to the breakfast and the lack of any desire If they had it, it was out for consumption I felt very welcome and appreciated for staying at this particular location that is usually reserved for much higher end hotels The people here are grateful for your business and they aren’t ashamed to let you know it I would highly recommend staying at this location for a family atmosphere, especially if you are traveling alone The staff here have your back and treat you like one if their own Thank you everyone at Quality Inn for exactly the stay I needed

I arrived at the hotel and had a pleasant check in with the desk manager However, as I walked to my room, the smell of weed was pungent and the hallways were dimly lit with several lights not working, making it a very creepy experience Once in my room, I found a few dead bugs and what looked like a large cockroach which was on top of the mini fridge

My family checked out and we will never again be staying here

Beautiful and spacious room Only problem is if you want to make a reservation, DO NOT USE THE 800 NUMBER!!! Only call the Jackson number! Everything was completely wrong as to what they told us and it caused major headaches and issues with our stay Front desk: little readhead seemed like she was in outer space

but we really did enjoy the room (finallyonce we got in there) Unfortunately, they do not follow through with their rules about kids being in the pool or whirlpool with a parent That was very discouraging because we were expecting a relaxing night in the hot tub but there were so many little, and I mean LITTLE kids in it at the time that we’re screaming and splashing in the whirlpool that we simply just left
