The hotel and room was very nice and clean but the staff was a different story There was only one gal that works at the front desk there that was friendly and welcoming The cleaning crew was not even nice to say they were very rude when you acknowledged them just like the front desk staff was

The customer service definitely needs a lot of improvement We love the hotel and plan on giving this place a second chance in the future in hopes that this was just a one off bad experience

Great place for an extended stay We had the I bedroom suite which worked out well for us The digital key was awesome and very convenient when we arrived to the hotel

All we had to do was use the key to walk into the building and then straight to our room No check-in required The room was clean and comfortableA complaint I have is the free breakfast The choices are limited Guests have the following choices: waffles, pre-packed breakfast sandwiches, cold cereal, bagels, biscuits, and yogurt Decaf and gourmet coffee, and hot water for tea & cocoa are also offered It would be nice to have fresh eggs and meatAnother issue I had was not being able to print The process that is provided for the customer did not work Normally a code is sent to the guest and we punch it into a keypad next to the printer but there was a problem and the keypad did not seem to connect to the printer The front desk clerk tried to help but nothing worked for meAll on all, our stay in the Homes2 Suites was pleasant

The management at this facility is excellent! Utilizing this location for an event and needing meeting space with hotel rooms was an incredibly positive experience Not only is there a good offering of meeting rooms, but the space is clean, has all the necessary resources to hold a good quality meeting, and Karl was a dream to work with! Very knowledgeable, responsive, and simply a joy to work with! The lobby is clean and welcoming, the staff were great, the hotel rooms were clean and spacious, and they have a great atrium area for the large pool which is enjoyable for all guests The location is excellent being right off of I-90 and accessible to many restaurants and other stores you may need during your stay

Excellent location for both meeting room space as well as overnight accommodations I will definitely secure this location again in the future for meeting room needs as well as overnight accommodations

Great experience this past weekend for our large group who had 32 rooms Rooms were clean and updated Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating

Pool and the area around it is large and nice with plenty of seating for the adults while kids swamsomething that most other hotels don’t have (might have a big pool but not the large area or lots of seating around it) Right next to the expressway is super convenient as well We will certainly be back

ruth gregerson

What a wonderful time we had! The service was great! ( thank you Jamie for all you did and thanks to Mngr Karl Shawn was so pleasant on the phone too) Our room was poolside which we loved and the refrigerator was larger than we expected We had an awesome king sized bed and the linens and the pillows were very nice! The pool and hot tub were very nice

Thank you so much!

Extremely clean, family friendly campground with a theme park feel! There were so many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy The staff were nice and helpful This is our new favorite place to camp

It’s also very accessible with cabins for rent that have wheelchair ramps There were no lifts at the pools but there’s upgrades happening and I’m hoping that is something they eventually add The first bathroom stall is the wheelchair accessible one in the main bathroom which was so nice to see! We love, love, LOVE this place!!! Also, the dog parks were a huge plus!

Steve

After reserving a rustic cabin #3 “Boo Boo Bear” for two back to back business visits, for four nights each, I wouldn’t stay here again and I certainly wouldn’t bring my familyShowers in men’s “comfort zone” simply didn’t work; water trickled and didn’t actually get hot Office seemed to be open very short hours in the weekdays making it hard to communicate

So nothing was done about showers until the last day I was thereWood was to be delivered before I arrived to my cabin each Sunday before I arrived, and never did receive it, even after repeated calls and emails Lack of preparation led to staff literally questioning my integrity at check-in regarding amenities quoted for my length of staysHeater/AC unit had mystery plug short that caused the unit to turn off randomly Woke quite cold more than once due to the issue Also made the bedroom lights flicker Spooky and probably a fire hazardPoor experience overall I should have stayed, well, anywhere else Strict “no refund on paid reservation” policy meant I was stuck here or out the costs I prepaid I understand why the policy is in place, people would not stay long after arriving! Certainly ruined what could have been an otherwise joyful visit to the area for work training

Lesley Beckman

This was our second visit to a Jellystone and we were a little underwhelmed for the price Our cabins were nice and the swimming options were nice (pools and pond); our kids loved the inflatables The whole campground was very rundown though; I understand covid has been tough and I’m sure funding has been tight but it looks like this is years worth of decay

Maybe in just comparing/hoping based on our other Jellystone stay, but it was overpriced for the experience

I want to give more stars as my sleep was so good but just the cleanliness wasn’t top notch My issue is I’ve been a housekeeper & now am a front desk at our hotel so I see the stuff now The blanket had rips, stains, & cigarette burns

There was other people “hairs” in the hot tub The towels were sloppily folded You can tell they don’t fully scrub the shower as the shower head & faucet had tons of scum built up on it, gross to touch The elevator was not cleaned or wiped down The entry way & rug when you walk in was super dirty Definitely not fully as advertised Front desk person was nice but very robotic like… but they were kind enough to move us rooms when they could of just given us a remote for the tv in the original room I know a lot of hotels are short staffed but doesn’t take much to up the appearance Overall, the stay was fairly nice & we slept very good!

Steve Supers

Hotel was quiet but definitely could use an update, you can tell it’s a repurposed property from the 80s The shower my room had was dim and gave off jail vibes, but it obviously was never built with a tub, just a stand-up, so what are you gonna do? The staff was all very friendly and the gentleman working breakfast was keeping up singlehandedly, so props to him Room was clean enough to be comfortable but could use some detailed attention such as dust under appliances and on visible but less-touched surfaces, food residue from someone’s hands on microwave and tv remote, toilet seat could have been wiped a little better, glitter from an obvious 4th of July party scattered about, loose tobacco on office chair, and possible food substances splattered on the curtains

A lot of that can be easily overlooked when working on a schedule and only having so many people on staff to get rooms in order for the next guest, so I can’t fault them too much, I still got a good night’s sleep Especially for the price, I’d stay here again if I had to travel to the area

I reserved a room without insurance and got to the hotel to find out their pool was under maintenance that night I hate swimming but I was there with my nephews for a weekend getaway and it was the most important thing for them the guy at the front desk canceled my reservation without a penalty, actually without any charge at all

He really didn’t have to and I was willing to pay either way knowing that that was my fault That was very kind and I was not expecting it If you’re reading this thank you so much sir It’s nice to be surprised with human awesomeness!

Thundercats ho

The room was clean I enjoyed my stay What I disliked is how the general manager Peter Chaudhari tried to charge me

25 cent a copy to print The business center was available with printer and paper yet he said he has to charge people because people abused printing paper I asked for the policy on this and he could not produce it There were no signs up in the area or nowhere in the lobbyBusiness center is part of amenities yet not at this Super 8

This is definitely nicer than other Rodeway Inns! The customer service was exceptional and I was thrilled to find out breakfast would be provided from the restaurant next door! It wasn’t a very filling breakfast but it was delicious and much better than other hotel breakfasts As far as the rooms are concerned they’re really nothing special but at least they were clean

James Warren

Original room was absolutely filthy Someone apparently had just checked out of it Desk people are rude

The nightclub isn’t a nightclub It’s a dive bar, and not a good one Front desk wanted a credit card for ‘incidentals’ Said it was just in case something was damaged, etc LOL My bank says the $100 is pendinglike they’re trying to actually charge the amount We were there one sleepless night and anything done to that place would be an improvement Whoever did this place, the restaurant, the staff, and the bar were good must’ve just got out of jail

Rooms smelled like smoke, mold, pets, other? Mold on the shower walls, breakfast was certainly nothing to write home about I know you get what you pay for but this was still priced at nearly $100 on a weeknight When I asked about cheaper prices posted online guy at check in said those were online only prices and because we had come in person the prices were higher

Only benefit is close to highway, no bed bugs (at this time), and bed was reasonably comfy Hotel would benefit from some cleaning, and even just a tiny bit of pride of ownership

Maureen Netzel

Thankfully only had to stay one night! It was comparable between staying the night in a kitty litter box and a smoked filled tavern Was afraid to crack the window open for some fresh air because I was eye level to the parking lot Tried the A/C to no avail

Asked for a late checkout ( ONLY because I had a function to go to later in the day) So they gave me till 11:30 instead of 11amAt 11:10 bought some of my belongings out to the car and was locked out of my room even though I had verified the late checkoutCoffee pot leaked all over the chest & seeing I had no sleep I really needed itThe continental breakfast was slim pickings, cold cereal and a donut that looked like a “Little Debbie”Special At least I got coffeeTook a shower and the tiny bar holder by soap holder was detached

Siobhan Fitzgerald

Showed up to the hotel at 3:15 pm, got the keys, went to room, and it wasn’t cleaned yet Was going to go back downstairs to sit while we waited On the way down the stairs I fell

I broke my big toe nail completely off, sprained an ankle, got large scrapes on my elbow and knee along with huge bruises on my back and leg, among many other injuries you can’t see While I was at the bottom of the stairs a housekeeper walked over me to go upstairs, while I’m clearly in excruciating pain and bleeding, which clearly annoyed me And then she says, “it’s not our fault is it?” And continued up the stairs This was by far the worst experience I have had anywhere in my entire life Not to mention the room smelled like cigarettes and mold

6th night in the last month in a hotel Traveling w my dog, which is great but can make finding a good hotel more difficult The Fairfield was really nice

Our room, hallways, breakfast room were very clean Very fresh Nice pet area out back Beds were comfy, good ventilation, great hot water! Breakfast included both hot and cold itemsThey have these pull down screens on the window that have a lovely scenic photo rather than the view of the parking lot They still let light in – I thought it was a nice touch as most mid price hotel rooms tend to be pretty starkI would definitely stay here again, with or without my dog Thanks Jan for helping me with my reservation

Karen Blevins

Had an amazing stay due to the staff here Tyler took my reservation over the phone and was extremely polite I came to visit my grandkids and just needed a nice place to stay

When I arrived tyler welcomed me by name, and immediately made me feel welcomed Tyler and Lillith made the check in process easy and welcoming Rooms nice and clean, breakfast good I will definitely be returning if I am in the area

Trendy Popular Demand

Apparently this is a hotel that teams like to stay at There has to be boundaries, and some respect for other guests who stay here for working purposes I shouldn’t have to wake up super early because the kids are loud and ridiculous

I should NOT have to stay up late because the kids are running through the hall ways and screaming completely disregarding everyone else that’s staying at this hotel FIX IT

Though the room smelt strongly of some kind of floral to cover the chemical smell of cleaning products, it was not clean The bathroom ceiling had mold and spider webs and I killed multiple earwigs in the room The first night there were kids running through the room above ours that was quite loud in our room

There was plentiful parking and the price was very reasonable, but it’s not a place I would choose to stay at again

I was able to get a room here after Holiday Inn gave away my reservation even though i had advised them of my late arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and fresh everything was and how nice their guests seemed to be Staff was courteous and friendly

Coffee was good and fresh: clearly, they clean their machines well and frequently- to me, that is a sign of good management No luxuries, room was small and they charged me more that advertised price here but it was still a good price Loved their yogurt and waffle maker in breakfast room The entrance, hallways and room all had a fresh smell Only 2 issues were slow drain in tub and toilet had ring sediment Still, for the price and last minute booking, i was grateful and happy

Andrew A

Honestly, for the price and type of hotel this is, the stay here is pretty good Don’t expect a 5 star stay, but if you want a good bed and just a room to stay at for a few days, this is a really good hotel for thatThe rooms are extremely small (hence the time Microtel) so it might be a good stay for a solo or solo + 1

This hotel room has two floors but there are no elevators Keep this in mind when booking

Gary Nemec

When booking I asked for a firm bed because I have back issues The women I spoke with guaranteed I would have a room with a firm bed I called a week in advance to confirm the reservation and to confirm the firm mattress

I was told it was all set The bed is FAR from being firm after one night my back is killing me and I still have 6 more nights to go The rooms are extremely small photos on the website make them look more spacious Would not recommend staying at this hotel

Arrived at 1am as a sleep stop along road trip route Check in was seamless AC worked great, beds and pillows were comfortable, everything in the room was clean

Great hot water and pressure No weird odors or stains Hot breakfast was timely – waffles and sausage were perfect Eggs were not tasty All staff were friendly and accommodating – everyone was working swiftly and nothing was left undone For a hotel priced around $100/night, this is top notch

Medra Pattillo

Clean rooms and a comfortable bed Breakfast was OK, the standard eggs, waffles, sausage cereal and such Our room had a mi u fridge and microwave with is nice

We did not use all the aenities as it was a stop for the night in out way home However there are lots of restaurants and services within walking distance so that is nice The room was quiet despite being close to the freeway

First issue was in making reservationsI called hotel to make the reservation the man that answered told me I already made reservation online I’m old I did not make any reservation online nor do I ever

So I said cancel whatever you are seeing I’m calling to make my reservation right now, I have no idea what you are looking at I said this isn’t making any sense as I kept telling and asking the man if I was talking to the hotel and he would say yes or ignore then kept telling me it was non refundable I asked why he said because you booked online This continued to go on until I was too confused and frustrated and thought someone else can fix this NOTSecond IssueWhen they wouldn’t cancel we stayed for the reservation Upon arrival they issued us a room which wasn’t even cleanThird IssueBreakfast is served from 7:00 – 9:00 We went down for breakfast at 8:45 or so and it was all cleaned up an no food was outFourth IssueWhile waiting for clerk to ask about Breakfast another guest asked if I had any issues with my room I told him what happened to us He said he was given a room where the air conditioning didn’t work When he complained he was told to open the window He said but I paid for a room with air conditioning again he was told to open the windowSo, overall they do not deserve even 1 star DO NOT TRUST THEM EITHER They could be the ones who screwed up my reservation But either way neither the Hotel or Choice did anything about my initial Issue Very poor customer serviceI will never stay with them or any other Choice Hotel

Pamela Bezeau

For a quick place to sleep it’s ok The room smelled musty and the room was very humid There are fast food places near by, but by the time we went the restaurant was closed and had to use the drive through

In a pinch I’d stay again The check in was pretty good, had to ring a bell to get someone to the desk They have an automatic pancake machine that worked very well, the grandson enjoyed making and eating them

bonnie

There going to start some renovations Looks to be for the bathrooms¿¿ this is our second time staying here and I haven’t had any problems They started serving hot breakfast

I didn’t use it, so u don’t know what they serve The pool is open I haven’t had any problem with any worker like some reviews say so all in all I would be using quality inn on my next visit
