I don’t think words can fully express my gratitude towards the staff here and how nice and quiet the place is If you’re in the area, THIS IS YOUR HOTEL, I promise!!! Staff are very attentive and whiling to accommodate to fit your needs and wants I stayed 4 nights for work in the area and not 1 problem arose

They have a Diamond Award displayed from 2021 and its very well deserved You can tell the owners and management take pride in their establishment and want to serve you Thank you so very much for such a great stay 🙂

Reviews fooled me! My husband and I arrived here right before midnight Per the guy at the front desk if you’re not checked in by midnight they will charge you for the room and will resale your room 🧐Anyways the hotel check in went smooth The lobby was nicely decorated and smelled clean

However, the smell of wet dog hit us as we entered the room The room was nicely decorated too, but there were more issues besides the smell The toilet seat was cracked, stains on the carpet, and the tiles on the jacuzzi were buckling at the bottom I was completely shocked! Then the continental breakfast didn’t not offer any type of protein (meat) Just drinks, eggs, oatmeal, and bread on top of bread with a few other things I would give them 25 if it was an option

Wow! We are driving through with our two kids and two dogs and we loved this place The staff was outstanding, especially the lady working breakfast this morning! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and checked on us frequently The room was clean and updated, and we loved the patio area outside

The hotel is right off I-80 and is walkable to a ton of restaurants and shops Lots of grass for the dogs, and a great view from our window We are driving back through again soon and hope to stay here again

Staff is great, it’s an A-loft hip and trendy and all that, wasn’t a fan of the food served there but I’m sure COVID plays a role in that Had two issues with my room, both the floor (near toilet) and shower did not appear to be cleaned well as I noticed stains near the toilet and some in the shower, nothing to kill my experience, the other issue is the shower handle, it does not lock in the off position and instead can go negative forcing me to have to find the correct spot to turn the tap off Other than that it was a good stay and there are amazing places to eat near by so I’d recommend that over eating at the hotel

Mel Baker

Nicole and Michelle at the front desk were both helpful and lovely We also did try the breakfast which was pretty good I liked the oat milk cold brew

The room was comfortable for us for one night, and even though we didn’t get a chance to use them, we did appreciate all the nice amenities May be a new go-to whenever we want to go to Waterfall Glen

Barbara Mendez

This Aloft location has always been a staple for our travels to this area Of course they did not disappoint during this visit either My husband and I would love to thank Nichole F

who works the front desk She was polite, knowledgeable and a very gracious host Please give her a raise or promotion to ensure she stays with your company long term She is a valuable assetThank you so much for her service and dedication It made our stay so much better We will see you all in October

DO NOT STAY HERE Room 228 ROACHES! ROACHES! ROACHES! Rooms may seem nice and clean but once you turn on the lights you can see that surfaces are not clean and wiped off… the floors are not mopped

Walls are sticky When I first started coming to this location it was really nice but couple months later seems like “certain” people are turning it out A LOT of door slamming, loud people in the parking, loud music sometimes, and once again ROACHES! This place is basically turning out like the Red Roof across the parking lot VERY DISAPPOINTED! I was comfortable until I started seeing roaches at Baymont

Immaculately clean room and lovely serviceBernice at the front desk was absolutely lovely, striking the right balance of being cheerful and friendly without being intrusive The woman tending the breakfast was also lovely, actively walking around the entire time restocking and helping patrons as needed

The rooms are nicely furnished in a clean, comfortable, modern way My room was absolutely spotless – the bathroom fixtures were polished metal, like chrome, and there was not a single fingerprint or spot anywhere on them, not even dried water spots or smears from cleaning solution And the carpet was *not sticky* which shouldn’t set a hotel apart from the competition but unfortunately it doesI had a king room, which was plenty spacious with a low counter for my suitcase, plus dresser with small fridge, desk, and a large closet The bathroom was also spacious and the pressure and volume of water in the shower were perfectI stayed one night on a cross-country driveso I can’t speak to the local area, but for anyone passing through, location is very convenient, right off the highway, but I didn’t hear any highway noise once I was in the hotelI’ve stayed at a lot of hotels back and forth across the country, and this one really stood out Price was reasonable as well, especially considering we stayed over Memorial Day weekend

Bryan Dirksen

Room was very clean and comfortable A/c could have worked a little better but it was still quite comfortable Beds were comfortable and clean

Personally I couldn’t or didn’t hear hardly any highway noise Even with it right outside the window Pool was clean and warm but both pool and hot tub seemed overly chlorinated Will definitely be staying here again

Kacy Meinecke

Very thankful for Katie and Jess at this location We were on our way to Chicago for a week of just us girls trip and picked the Hampton Inn for the location and top notch Hilton service Jess welcomed us to our stay in a way that was like family, and we felt very at home here

We had a small inconvenience that was fixed very quickly with no issues by the front staff manager Katie Breakfast was amazing and hot, everything was stocked and the entire location was newly renovated and very comfyBring a set of earplugs if you’re a light sleeper due to being next to the highway, but an extra pair of cozy socks too since the AC is pumpin’!Overall experience was quite wonderful, highly recommend

What a great find so many hotel options in this area, but this was adequately priced for such a great experience

We only stayed 2 nights, but I wish we stayed more! Outside there is a nice sitting area and fire pit Once you walk in there is a very welcoming foyer, with TV, coffee, sitting area, etc The staff are so friendly and helpful Near the front desk you have juice/water/soda for purchase as well as an array of snacks The gym (which I used twice) was super clean and very nice It was quite large Probably the nicest I’ve seen at a hotel They have an indoor pool which people seemed to really enjoy The room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable I loved the kitchenette and living room area We enjoyed watching football in the room as well The fridge and microwave were very clean, which I liked The shower was nice and roomy I would definitely give this place my business again

Nancy Mundorf

We stayed 6 nights with a family of 5 and were very comfortable in our room! Not only was the room very clean but the entire hotel and property was kept extremely clean! Breakfast was good, lots of choices Everyone was very friendly and welcoming during our entire stay! Very convenient location! Look forward to staying again next time we’re in town!!

Julie

It was good because the room was very spacious, had a curtain for privacy between living area and bed area Dishwasher and everything, even hidden beef jerky in the cabinet! Beds are pretty comfy but I found a blood stain so 3 points for effort I guess The counter table could even be used as a bed for guests

The bathroom doors are brutal, almost got stuck in one, almost had to press the emergency button, very scared The pool was nice, you can open your eyes with no tears but my friend had eye irritation about an hour after The pool tasted salty, a lot of little kids were roaming around so it tasted quite urinated I hit my chin at the bottom of the rough floors, now I have a mark so no hot girl summer, biatch My brother asked for an hdmi cord and the guy at the front desk was very rude about it, didn’t even give us a goodnight just a “GIVE IT BACK” This random little girl with snuck into our room and was telling us off, saying “Ice doesn’t melt in the microwave” and what not because the sink water tastes chemical She acted like the queen of coffee and had at least 5 cups which I don’t know how because it was ATROCIOUS by the way, she calls herself “The Coffee Addict” We got ding dong ditched around 9:00pm and when we kept going out to check no one was there, it was very frightening and in that moment I was on my knees praying to my lord savior Jesus Christ, asking for forgiveness for slapping that one guy at the playground I was in the shower during this time and the shower head was pretty good, great water pressure and there were a lot of towels The curtain was very see through and since we were on the bottom floor you could see everyone walking by and it added more onto the horrifying madness The breakfast was okay, the waffle maker was broken, not filled so we had to wait 20 minutes to actually eat our food I felt like I was in a school lunch line, waiting for my food with an empty stomach and a narrow mind This boy taught me how to work the waffle gadget so very thoughtful of him The waffles were dry but filling I guess, not many options for breakfast We payed to leave till 12:00pm and while we were napping this woman kept knocking on our door asking when we were going to leave so very annoying, I was in the middle of my nap daydreaming about leonardo DiCaprio I am starting to begin this hotel is haunted first the random knocking, then I had a mid day nightmare about the doors opening and closing and the curtains as well Then in the dream a genie ghost figure was arising from the bed and my friend and I were horrified But in the end of the dream we were greeted with cupcakes so that was good I guess Overall pretty good hotel if you want a break from your husband

My guest room was well appointed , impressed with the water pressure and also temp of shower- this can be an issue at most hotels but not here Pool area looked amazing although I forgot my swimsuitI will returnlocation right off I-55 but I literally heard no highway noise from my guest roomA great nights rest Thank you

Better than a motelIt’s a cheaper option in the area with “you get what you paid for” overtones Clean, decent rooms

However, our stay was unpleasantThe room we had was freezing with no solution to the problem Wish this was me just being overdramatic but I had to sleep with my coat on since there were no extra blankets in the room or front desk Even with the AC unplugged, it didn’t warm up If you need picky details, I’d recommend bringing your own snacks, since the vending machine we tried wasn’t taking money In the morning, hours prior to check-out time, the power went out The best they had were apologies for the inconvenience and a wave goodbye That was our stay Hope yours is better

P S

Stayed a few days at hotel The room was decent, meaning, clean except curtains and vents of air system, and it comes on loud The issues were the spa and pool

I got into the spa and noticed a bug floating on top and some particle of rocks and dirt at the bottom The pool had a cloudy color Also, repairs being done on the roof or a new roof being done, made it noisy in the mornings Many other things to write, but I’ll be brief Kathy the manager isn’t/wasn’t helpful when faced with complaints such as pool, spa water,: entire body started itching Breakfast wasn’t the best, eggs were mashed I did encounter 2 nice ladies at front desk Overall, it wasn’t the best experience at the hotel for my birthday I tried reaching the general manager via email with the issues Glad there are some who enjoy their hotel stay with no issues

Definitely one of the better hotels in the area I loved the amount of space

They have a fairly big bathroom, living area, bedroom, and kitchen I LOVED the kitchen fridge, freezer, stove top, microwave, and anything you could possibly need as far as eating utensils & cooking Breakfast was very good, they change out your towels every day, just leave any dirty outside your door Overall I enjoyed my stay

Deyonne Hallberg

Our overall stay was great until it came to our last night there Our room overheated – it got to nearly 90 degrees in our room and I had my two children with me – an infant and a preteen It was nearly 10pm at night and the management told us we would have to wait until the following morning (smh)

They had other rooms available but since they had a large wedding party coming in the following day (check-in would be at 4pm and we planned to check out by 10am) they couldn’t give us a new room – everything was “fully booked” In addition to this, they told us that since we booked our room through a third party (we booked through Expedia) that they couldn’t move us into a new room based off that It made no sense at all Thankfully we had a great staff member, Devon who did a great job at accommodating us He called multiple people from management, continued to check in with us to make sure we were good and eventually got us into another room! We were very thankful for his attention to the matter and getting the situation resolved THANK TOU DEVON! You are the reason why we continued to enjoy our stay

Knew when booking it was outdated, but pleasantly surprised to find room had been recently renovated Clean and found the cutest rubber duck Breakfast was amazing

Only downside was the interstate noise It wasn’t too loud, but would pick a different room next time Overall, happy and would stay again anytime visiting family in the area

Peter Kruppe

We stay at this Hammy due to location when we return to visit with family Folks are friendly, rooms are clean and TV works Yes we’ve been known to use the indoor pool

Bed is comfy but if you are going to be there for a few days, consider bringing your own pillow if you want something other than soft and flat I always seem to get a sore neck as the pillows are thin meaning my head sinks down to far, being a side sleeper Great rotation of breakfast food with good variety

This is an older Comfort Inn in good condition We got 2 rooms with 2 double beds They were nice beds if a bit small

(This is far from the only hotel to be offering double instead of queen size beds, but it does annoy me) The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly The pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn’t have time to try them out Good water pressure and clean bathroom though

Lindsay Vamvoudakis

This was just an overnight short and sweet stay The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, staff was friendly The bathroom was small but doable for our stay

I wish we were able to enjoy the pool, it looked greatWe did have breakfast in the morning Nothing special but the cinnamon roll Waffles were really good

john jurasillino

After a long drive with wife and kids this was a pleasant stop to rest and rejuvenate We were greeted by Sadiee who was well informed of the area and answered all of our many questions with a smile The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the pool was out of order and my kids were looking forward to swimming after a long day of driving

Overall the hotel was very clean and friendly

Overall not a bad place At the time of this review they were doing major renovations and it seemed a bit messy Room rates appeared to reflect a price change compensate for the loss of available rooms

On elevator and one ice machine Elevator is extremely slow and during very busy hours it’s better to take the stairs if possible No way to get to the back lot without going through the pool area Breakfast is a bit mediocre but I expect that to change once renovations are done

Christin Shouse

The first night the bed broke and the dogs next to my family barked frequently throughout the nightThe next day when my husband Inquired about maintenance fixing the bed, he was told they wouldn’t be able to fix it until MondayWhen my husband asked why housekeeping hadn’t cleaned their room he was told they no longer do that due to Covid

He asked for someone to come and take the trash and to provide fresh towels and was told housekeeping had left for the day It was 3 o’clockThe final straw is when my family woke up with a bedbug in the bed Immediately we called the front desk, and Lisa, who was a real peach dismissed me The solution was for us to just leave the hotel and not deal with the actual problem at hand My family gladly left that hotel, however the bed or room was not properly sanitized, steamed, nothing was doneWhen I called back later that night to speak to a manager, Bobby who is the general manager of that location, alluded to the fact that we could be making it up, because I guess a lot of their patrons do thatI had to send in a picture of the bedbug to prove it, because Lisa made no comments within our account Shocker! So to the following family’s who stay in room 318, check the bed and sleep tight Those bedbugs will bite

The room wasnice Only problem was the bathroom sink was clogged Mentioned it to the front desk but she didnt seem to be to concerned about it So that’s a big Negative Requested towels and was told to come get them myself From the front desk Someone should have been available to bring them to our room Aside from that, everything else was fine Will continue to stay at Hilton because more often than not, service is always great

I was happy with my experience here I am a Hilton Honors member and my bottle water was in my room along with a few other amenities so they were prepared to receive me even though I checked in a little later The only hang up was I attempted to check in through the app and was told I still needed to check in at the desk,on the app to revieve digital key

That was a little inconvenient after a 10-hour Drive I was ready to get in bed and not talk to anyone but my room was clean and I was happy with the stay overall
