I was unfortunate to only get to stay one night at the end of April 2022 I chose this hotel from most of the pictures I saw, and thought my 7 yo son would be impressed with all the dinosaur displays I wish I was able to stay longer, but we had to go home

We stayed a little longer in a hotel in Colorado Springs because that was closer to our family for their wedding That hotel in Colorado Springs was pretty good, and had good breakfast, however that hotel didn’t have the very attractive, sweet, and attentive server at the morning breakfast here She would help out and make your plate with sausage or bacon, and then she would ask the chefs to cook eggs to order I was so impressed! During this time where we don’t want to get sick, so we shy away from each other, the staff here go way out of their way!The hotel itself was very clean inside and out, and the room we stayed in was clean and we’ll kept Some hotels you go to the room will have something that’s not mounted on the wall correctly or broken/cracked tiles Just normal wear and tear, but it seems the maintenance persons here are either doing their jobs or they have just remodeled againThey have an outside heated pool and hot tub We had to catch a flight so we weren’t able to get in the pool, but I checked it out, and just like the rest of this hotel, it was clean and we’ll kept tooI highly recommend this hotel for the kids or the kids at heart Very interesting and nice specimens to look at, and some that are from very famous museums too You will also have a clean room and bed to sleep in and a hearty breakfast to eat that’s fresh and hot, and not just sitting there getting cold

Great value and good service Staff were polite Special shout out to Paul the maintenance/do it all guy

Seemed to always be around, very friendly and helpful As a business owner myself I know thats hard to find people with that work ethic these days Gave him my personal praise and hope his owner sees this All in all with the shortage of good workers and everyone taking on more responsibilities to cover, I hope everyone can find some patience and appreciation Good motel, and location to activities and recreation Kids loved the outdoor heated pool

Jamie Martinez

I recently stayed here with my husband and it was great for us! It was conveniently located near area attractions and the room was very clean Usually when I stay in a hotel, there is something that could be cleaner

but that really wasn’t the case here! The only slight issue was that breakfast didn’t seem to be fully stocked at all times, but I don’t think it is worth taking off a star for that For example, on our last morning my husband and I both asked for “potatoes” I received broken french fries, but my husband got hash browns

Overall, I definitely recommend this place! It was in a nice side of town, rooms were clean, it was quite at night, beautiful mountain view and was conveniently near the freeway so easy access I don’t eat the food at hotels but if anyone does and it was part of there bad review, common sense this is a 3 star hotel not a luxury resort so just drive to Denver and eat some good food or drive 1 min to the Einstein bagel place literally down the street I love that the staff did not come to our room because we had all our stuff out

This made me feel more comfortable since we were not in our hotel room the majority of the time If you need something just pick up the phone and request it They will gladly bring it to you (its not that hard)Con:I (Hispanic woman) went to see if we could check in early as it was 1:50 pm(check in was at 3 pm) and I was not greeted kindly and was told no I have to wait till 3 pm because they did not have some kind of list yet The girl then turned back to the other female employee and began chatting again The attitude of the employee could be better on how to speak to guest About 2:20 pm, my husband (white male) went in to go check in and they gave him a room right away with no issues I think the proper way to speak to a guest is maybe saying “Sorry I do not have the list of clean rooms yet, but you may check back in about 20-30 minutes if you would like” You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover (I have tattoo sleeves on both arms) I am actually a nurse who knows how people should communicate and the girl I interacted with needed a few training courses I have bad days to but I do not talk to my patients like they are annoying me or bothering me the way I felt when speaking to this employeeHowever, this would not stop me from staying here again but I will just make sure to send my husband in from the start I never saw the employee afterwards so that made my 6 year anniversary getaway that much better! This place really is a good place to stay besides my interaction with the employee and I would def recommend this place to others

One star? Stayed 3 nights On third night discovered you didn’t need the key card to enter our room! Darn thing was broken Elevator, ice machine, office printer, external door card reader, all broken! The good? Great breakfast, location with a mountain view, heated pool and hot tub

Clean Not so quiet as the construction is wood You hear the people above you thumping as they walk on their floor Poor sound damping You won’t get smart staying at this HI Express!

I accidentally left a small clear plastic box next to the coffee pot in room 114 on the side table June 2nd when checking out The coffee pot wouldn’t work on top of the microwave so I moved it, the plug in was bad I had to stay at the hotel because I was moving to a new apartment, I got divorced in October last year and have had to rent a room with roomates so that I could pay off bills from our marriage

The plastic box was a gift from my daughter containing my favorite pearl jewelry from my dad who passed away two years ago May 15, a bracelet made by my daughter when she was four and the earrings she gave me every year since for Mother’s Day Some silver and gold necklaces, earrings and rings from my mom when I turned 50 and a gold cross my daughter bought for me with her first paycheck working as a courtesy clerk So sad that who ever cleaned or went into the room thought that they could take it I called the hotel and it was not in the room or in the lost and found What happened to good honest people? My mom and I stayed there for two nights when my daughter graduated I even gave the front reception lady flowers from the store I’m so disappointed Please give me back my precious jewelry

We booked and paid the hotel through our CC rewards program which made the the check in process quick and efficient The guest service rep was friendly and professional We stayed in a king size room

The room was spacious and clean, although the walls are thin, so request a room away from the elevators We also included daily breakfast during our stay which actually turned out quite good It was a real breakfast that one can order from the regular menu Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Holiday Inn

Jeanne

Stayed for 1 night Exceptional customer service from the guy at the front desk He was very polite and gave us very detailed instructions

It’s been a while since I’ve had service that good In addition, the rooms were extremely clean I highly recommend this location and would come back 😁 I wish every place would follow this example!

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! YOUR TEAM GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND!! What that tells me about management is your doing it right!! Very amazing experience, one upset employee lashing out at the others and when I tell you this team held their composure I mean it, something you can only gain from years of customer service and it showed I would of punched the jerk in his chops! Y’all handled it like champs!!! I should mention the food here is awesome to! Definitely coming back!!

First off the staff was awesomely friendly Always friendly and happy to help But the room leaves much to be desired

The bed is like sleeping on a concrete floor All of us including my kids woke with sore backs The hot tub is disgusting Also the room was not as clean as they claim There was questionable substances on the wallsWe asked for cleaner and wiped it down ourselves But the staff os awesome and the breakfast was good

Staff and management is very rude I have never felt compelled to write a review in my life, but after this experience I had to share my story I was in town to visit my dad who recently had surgery and wanted to stay at an affordable hotel while I was there

BAD IDEA! When I walked into the hotel the lady at the desk was on her phone video calling someone She didn’t even acknowledge me I walked up to the desk and was just standing there for about a minute I checked into the hotel and I as I was walking to my room I heard a loud bang from another room After a few hours I contacted the front desk to let them know about the noise and she said that they’ll take care of it The noise stopped for about 30 minutes and then continued At 12:30am I went down to the office to let the staff know that the noise was still going on and she rudely said to me “We asked them to stop, what more do you want us to do?” I was so stunned by the response that she gave me that I just asked to check out of the room She told me that I would have to take it up with management and walked away I contacted management the next day about my experience and the manager I spoke with tried to place me in another room just to avoid giving me a refund She never apologized for the inconvenience or anything that I had experienced I left the hotel that day and had to dispute the charges with my bank and with the help of my BBB report 0 STARS

david stewart

The staff at this hotel alone make it worth returningThanks to Snow, Brooke, Amanda, (one night girl whose name I don’t recall) and all the kitchen staff bc the breakfast was out of this world and I was made to feel at home no matter the hour of day Will certainly return to this small, quiet and comfortable hotel

Thanks to all6 stars

Was a 5-star hotel before; however, there are now a number of problems that drop it to 41 The biggest problem was having to leave your driver’s license at front desk to get a pool towel

Not only is this inconvenient and takes up overloaded front desk staff time but is illegal and prone to identity theft issues If you want to do towel check, follow Waldorf Astria policy and just ask for room # and name and put on a list They can scratch off list when they return it They had two people just in charge of the pool area though not like the lone front desk person here So, for small staffed hotel would not recommend doing at all2 Heat coming out of vents in halls and common space was 95F and halls were so hot that the house keeping staff was having to open the windows in hallways to get heat out throwing money out the window The heat needs to be turned down especially since rates are going up You can replace all pool towels several times a month for this loss3 Last two times I came recommended adding second caffeinated coffee pot to the breakfast area but has not happened On weekend coffee was out over 80% of the time and breakfast server was not able to keep up The long distance from where coffee was made in breakfast area to front desk also contributed to not keeping up4 The hot food in breakfast area was out of stock most of the time during weekend This is due to half size replacement containers Please use full size like all other Hampton Inns5 Now that construction has started on North Side again Dust has become a problem Recommend like Embassy Suites to sell rooms with air filters to fix this as well as a good upsell6 Letting unqualified people substitute at front desk One time I came down to complain about the heat hotel (#2) was wasting in hallway and young girl with glasses never at front desk before (Maybe Overworked Breakfast Server) said “No one else has that problem” I think the owner, management company or whoever pays electric bill would disagreeGood news is that elevator 2 did not trap me in it this time Both elevators, though slow, functioned properly

Where do I begin? This place is a disgrace The faucet on the tub in our room is ready to come loose I nearly fell twice in the tub shower because the safety tread in the bottom of the tub is so worn it does not keep you from slipping

There’s a sheetrock seam that looks pitiful The air conditioner rattlesFront desk help coughing and hacking and not wearing a mask Website states staff required to wear masks in public areasThe buffet breakfast costs $1599 per person when they serve it which is only when they have a big group like the soccer group staying while we were there No bacon, no waffles, no pancakes, over cooked eggs that tasted like rubber And all the guy could say to us was “sorry about that” two days in a row When no buffet you order and pay like a restaurant Might as well go to McDonald’s, you’ll get better service and better food Won’t be back!

James Rodriguez

During my first night stay a noise was coming through the vent all night All recorded! I did not sleep much I mentioned this to Tyler at the front desk who was neither concerned nor empathetic

He referred me to Hotelscom as if the noice was their problem I booked a different room for another night this time through Hilton Rewards and was charged the FULL rate thinking they would discount or comp the room because of the situation from the prior night This did not happen I filed a complaint and was just told that the hotel said they already compensated me This is not true I have stayed at many Hiltons usually through business associates and have never had a problem until now I asked Tyler for extended check out times and was told he couldn’t do it This is the first time I have never been approved an extended checkout Before I end this complaint, I want to honorably mention the ladies who worked at the hotel prior to Tyler they were absolutely helpful and respectful

The Comfort Suites in Evergreen was a great hotel for our family trip to the Denver area Its location is out of the metro area enough to make it a nice break from the noise of the city, yet it’s only a 20 minute drive back into DenverJohn was on duty most of the time we needed anything, including checking us into our three reserved rooms late in the evening after our flight

He was always polite and accommodating, and we appreciated all his helpThose who are complaining about this hotel must be hard to please, as we found it to be a great place The rooms are clean, the pool and hot tub are of good size, and the breakfast each day has lots of choices for everyone We all had rooms with balconies, and these were very nice to sit on and drink a beer and enjoy the beautiful mountain viewsAll 10 of us thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, and we will return the next time we are in the Denver area Thanks to John and all the staff who made our stay great! (Buck the dog was awesome, too!)

For a less expensive couples getaway this is the perfect hotel Staff was extremely friendly, room’s were clean, sheets were clean, bed was comfy Jacuzzi tub in room was a little small but did accommodate 2 people better then tradional Jacuzzi tubs

Would have loved to have had a his and her shower in the king Jacuzzi suite for couples Otherwise loved the view and scenery around hotel

Be aware of parking near the back fence/in front of the hillside My vehicle was stolen and “wasn’t caught” on camera Not very helpful and all seems very sketchy

Don’t recommend staying here just for the pure fact that they’re camera system is horrible There’s only one way in and one way out Be insanely aware of your surroundings and take EVERYTHING out of your vehicles People in that area of town are not to be trusted

From the moment we arrived, we knew Juniper was beyond expectations! No detail left out Beautiful accommodations from the views to the comfy bed and sheets So many areas in the home and patios to call your own and enjoy a fire, or jacuzzi, or just an amazing view

They have thought of everything to make your stay effortless from their honor bar and kitchen to lending seat cushions and cooler to tailgate or enjoy a Red Rocks concertAs you leave- you see “Until next time” and believe me there will be a next time and can’t happen soon enough!

The location was great Hot breakfast was amazing! Kitchenette had everything we needed to feel at home Loved the separate bedroom

Staff was so helpful The queen bed in the bedroom was so comfortable I slept great every night The only issue we had was so sorry excuse for a mattress on the sleeper sofa It was thin like a mattress topper around the edges and even thinner in the middle You could feel coils in it My daughter ended up closing it up and sleeping on the sofa each night I was surprised This place was so nice in every other area I have slept on SUPER comfortable sofa beds in hotels We have never had an issue

Kerrey Jorgensen

Great room: comfy beds, nice shower, quietLocation: centrally located with all of Denver and surrounding attractions being an half hour/90 minutes away, AMAZING view If they have mountain facing available- definitely pay the extra bitStaff: very friendly, accommodating, and informative

I’ve been a fan of Staybridge Suites for years because I feel like our family always gets a lot of room for the money This location didn’t disappoint, everything was set up great, the suite was spacious and everything was perfectly clean The one thing that I found disappointing was the evening social and breakfast offered

Both used to be AMAZING at every Staybridge Suites location we stayed at pre-covid I understand the pandemic changed a lot of things, but to be perfectly honest, it feels like the ownership has become very comfortable with a very scaled down version of both because it saves them money I found that extremely underwhelming and disappointing

I loved my stay at Ember Hostel! I was there on a Monday through a Wednesday in November and had a lot of fun The staff were delightful – shout outs to Alex, Emily, Bobby and Darby! They were all incredibly welcomingThe house is gorgeous

I had to work remotely while I was there and loved finding different nooks and crannies to do my work in The large living room lends itself well to chatting and playing gamesThe place was incredibly clean, too I witnessed the staff thoroughly cleaning the rooms everydayThe sleeping nooks are super comfy, I really appreciated the blackout curtain It allowed me to have my light on and read without disturbing anyone elseI look forward to staying at Ember Hostel again!

Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable Great location, close to pretty much everything yet far enough away to be very quiet and restful Furniture in living area was outdated, used and old and is in need of replacement

Good breakfast selection!Other then that everything else was great

One of the grossest, and definitely one of the worst managed, hotels I have ever stayed at A stain on the Marriott name, just like the stains of highly questionable origin all over the couch (so gross we had to cover it with a blanket) There was dried food in the stove, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, air conditioner noisy enough to wake us

Quoted one price and charged another for dogs-apparently the staff doesn’t even know the policy, which is apparently also not the same as what they publish on the web site Worst, they allowed a bunch of Texan yahoos to start a bbq at 9:30 at night Despite the young girl left to run the place alone on a Saturday night trying to get them to respect quiet hours, which supposedly start at 10pm, there were drunks and screaming children running around outside my window at 1:30am By that point I called the front desk and told the clerk either she could resolve the situation or I would call the sheriffs to do so Ridiculous that this was allowed to go on for almost 4 hours and kept us from sleeping Sleeping is the point of the hotel! So outraged by this experience

All lies here We extend our stay on Monday April 18 and everything was fine then Today April 21 they came into our room and told us we had 30 minutes to leave even though we had reservations until Friday April 22

I would not recommend anyone staying here unless you want to get ripped off and lied to Only good thing about the stay was the free breakfast
