Outstanding campground with an over-the-top caring team of people We stayed 7 nights here recently and it was a great experience There is a section of the campground that is seasonal residents and then another section that is for more short term stays

The area for short term stays had obviously undergone some renovations as a lot of the landscaping appeared very new Whatever they have done though, is great Very close to FDR and Vanderbilt House, but also very secluded and quiet Everyone we encountered was very nice and everything was neat and clean Laundry machines worked very well which is more than I can say for some actual laundromats we’ve usedThe entire stay was highlighted by the staff Brandon at the front desk was WAY beyond helpful! I can’t thank him enough for helping us out as much as he did Austin (the GM) was top notch and clearly runs a great group there to keep things running smoothlyHope to stay here again someday

Very cozy and peaceful atmosphere with beautiful scenery and the hospitality and compassion for the needs of every guest is truly awesome and inspirational to witness Thanks for a great and memorable stay to the whole Interlake crew n staff n also the tenants it attracts All wonderful people! Thanks again and I look forward to many more stays and recommendations at this property!

Stacey Hammerle

The campground was wooded and quiet The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the water was hot The staff preselects the site for you but I’m sure you could request a site

Our site was #230 and there was a site above and below us We could look down on the site below us and the site above us could look down into our site There was no one staying at either site while we were there We were close to the rec hall which has bathrooms and laundry Overall, it was a pleasant stay and offered everything we needed There was even a cable hookup which is a rarity for us as we normally stay at state parks

I booked a 7-day stay and was assured housekeeping services every other day Day 4 and I’ve resorted to leaving used towels and garbage bins in halls to receive some service Today we got two rolls of toilet paper

No vacuuming, refreshing, bed making As it’s a pet friendly hotel the dog smell is becoming unpleasant Unfortunately, I can’t find another hotel due to local activities One star is for room layout, bed, kitchenette and nice sized bath

Roz Ferranti-Elder

We Always stay at this location for Many reasons The staff are respectful, polite & accomodating!! Mario, Maria & Gina were Great!! The rooms are Very clean, have plenty of space & the bed is very comfortable!! Very nice establishmentwith Great staff & accomodations for a nice relaxing stay! Even our large dogs had a Great time, getting many treats!!Roz & Tom Elder

Mary Abelack

Rooms are clean and newer but services are dropping The “breakfast” is a joke They should just shut it down at this point

No eggs or meat any longer Everything else looked unappetizing so I skipped it The dog fee is now $100 Not sure if that’s per night or per stay but feel like it’s too much for a budget hotel located next to a broken down sad mall and in a Target parking lot

I am currently staying at The Dylan in Woodstock and all I can say is I never want to leave Each room has its own cool vibe and I agree with all the reviews when they say the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on Cleanliness, design and some of the most incredible hospitality experiences ever

Darryl is an amazing host and serves everyone with a smile Some nights you can stumble into the lobby and be entertained by Darryl and other guests who have brought their guitars They were great It’s obviously 5 stars in my opinion, but would like to give it less so I can still get a room I stayed in the Joan Baez room

Sloane Applebaum

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Dylan! The hotel is extremely clean and updated, with luxurious finishes It has a fun aesthetic with record players in the room and musical accents all around The pool was lovely, and we really enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit at night

The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly Thank you for an amazing stay, I can’t wait to return hopefully soon!

Gavin Smith

Amazing weekend Upon checking in, I had a smores kit hanging from my doorknob – encouraging me to enjoy the fire pit that was right outside my door I checked into my room, enjoyed chilled champagne from Hotel Dylan’s celebration package, listened to records and enjoyed a margarita at Santa Fe (just a few steps from my room)

My check in kit also included a list of favorites in the area, restaurants, music venues, the local forecast and more Cannot wait to go back! Thank you Darryl!

My room was over $300 a night- I was told this was a discounted price for guests of a wedding I was to attend (the hotel clerk told me it was normally $400) I made the reservation and assumed that I would be staying in a luxury hotel for that price It was far from that! The bathroom sink did not drain properly

The tub stopper was completely out of the tub The door to the cabinet that held the refrigerator would not stay closed I felt like I was staying in a cheap motel Little nice simple touches that most nice hotels provide were non-existent While there was breakfast, you could not get a cup of coffee even one minute past 10:00 when breakfast was over The more expensive hotels where I’ve stayed (for even less night than this place) had coffee and flavored water out all day for guests This place had nothing!!!~ I don’t mind paying if I get what I paid for Truthfully, while the lobby and pool areas were pleasant, the rest felt dirty Find someplace else to stay!!!!!

Joshua Lurie

Hotel was nice Staff were very nice and accommodating Rooms were good aside for a couple of things

Technology really ought to be upgraded and as for the bathrooms, the vanity part seemed to have been updated however the rest of the bathroom (tiles, toilet, everything about the bath and shower) seemed to be living in the 90’s Biggest per peeve is clogged bathtub drains and unfortunately did not disappoint Would love to see these places invest in the bathrooms rather than the hallways and lobby

Awesome place to stay in the area Very quiet and comfortable The bathroom & shower is very nice with hot water

The bed is comfy and slept great through the night No one bothers you and the owner is very kind & friendly He has two cats that I’ve had walk over to me that were very friendly, too (I love kitties!) The location is perfect! There is a laundromat in walking distance opened 24/7 There are stores that are close by I have NO complaints about this place The rooms are the most comfortable ones I have stayed in I HIGHLY recommend if you plan to stay somewhere comfortable for the night or for a few nights Give this local motel the business it deserves! I’ve stayed at other motels and would choose this one any day of the week

Carole Bookman

I have to be totally honest when posting a review According to Google “I’m popular!” NOT why I post reviews I do so because I rely on the reviews of others and hope they are being honest as well

That being said, I have to say that the Sunset Park Motel was not the Four Seasons HOWEVER, it has everything you need like a hot shower, a place to sleep and over 100 cable TV channels I did not go to this motel for vacation I found myself homeless for the night without money or transportation I have to say that while the accommodations reminded me of staying at Grandma’s house, I was also shown amazing compassion and empathy when I had to wake the proprietor at 1AM to give me the key He also gave me ice from his own fridge The room had a small fridge with mini freezer that kept the ice frozen all night There was also a microwave in the room A local agency paid for my room that night but the proprietor, Walt, is an incredibly generous human being and I would absolutely recommend a stay here if you’re in the area and looking for a room with everything you needincluding a convenient yet quiet location Thank you Walt!

Big kudos to Ramona! She made my stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you for the recommendations and for being generally sweet 😀I heard the train, mentioned in other reviews, while unpacking my car I never heard it during the nightBed was super comfy

My (king) room did have a microwave and fridge Maybe only some rooms are equipped

Fahad Abdullah

Clean ? Yes Quiet? Yes Other than that ? No

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at No microwave, nor refrigerator in the rooms as it was supposed to be according to my online reservation, and when I asked the receptionist, she said “we don’t offer that, you can check out but you will be charged still” I travel for work and I’ve been staying at hotels most of my week days but I’ve never seen worst than this one Not mentioning “the Fittnes room” 🫣🤣

Lissa Aspiras

This hotel has been the best staff we have encountered All the front desk staff is taking good care of my mom We brought her from MA to Kingston NY to vacation with my brother and his family, but they arrive later today

Our schedule allowed us to drive her a day earlier She is under the care of the wonderful management, the breakfast bistro crew and special mention to Zachary last night and most specialy to Jamie Basilotta for helping my mom since she has had terrible allergies and cough Thank you very much to you all!

My boyfriend and I just visited Journey Bed & Breakfast this past weekend, and wow, we were blown away at the level of hospitality during our weekend trip! From arrival to the very end, Valerie and her team provided an A level experience that we will never forget The residence was very clean, cozy, well air conditioned, and overall quite and pleasant The house is so cute and decorated with beautiful vintage furnishings

The provided breakfast each morning was such a treat and was exciting for a foodie like myself We were educated on touristy things to do each day, and it greatly impacted our trip! I took away so many first time experiences since it was my first time visiting Hyde Park area The stay exceeded the already amazing reviews online This bed and breakfast was great for a romantic weekend, and could also work for a small family setting Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and cozy weekend getaway! The Hyde Park area is stunning and there’s so much history to explore and amazing food to try! We will definitely be repeat customers and cant wait to plan our return visit this fall! THANK YOU! 🙂

We had a lovely stay at this inn over Memorial Day weekend It is ideally located only a 5-10 minute walk from Tinker Street but feels so peaceful and secluded Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfy

The inn was fully booked but it was very quiet at night and so nice to listen to the sound of the water right outside the room Breakfast and midday snacks were a nice surprise as we thought they were not offering that because of COVID We had such a pleasant stay we already booked a return

One Key Realty

We showed up with no reservation, we were greeted by an amazing person, who provided us with lodging for the night We had a queen bed over looking the water, it was quant cozy and an amazing experience It reminded me of my childhood days when my parents would take us up to a bungalow colony a little bit further south then here

The accommodations were amazing, the water front and the waterfalls had such an amazing sound Breakfast in the morning was super fresh, super easy and most enjoyable My wife and i only spent 1 night there and we enjoyed it so much, that we are going back, with a reservation, and we are flying from Miami just to go back and spend a few days enjoying nature at its finest We had one of the best nights of our 10 day vacation driving NY state, and this place was one place that, yes, we should have stayed more then what we did So we are going back, no more regrets in our lives Live and enjoy, the people in the town were so friendly to add to it Come unwind and relax at a favorite memory of mine and ours with my wife

Our lovely cottage in Woodstock was the perfect get away from the city Peacefully nestled in the woods is just what we needed The spacious 2/2 cottage is big enough for four people to comfortably spread out and relax

The large veranda on the creek is the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air, birds chirping, water streaming and deer grazing The town of Woodstock is friendly and picturesque with plenty of dining options If your looking for an easy drive outside of the city, give Woodstock a visit

The Hampton Inn in Kingston is a very nice location for sure I really enjoyed the cleanliness of my room each day and all of the amenities within my room kept me going for the entire week I was there The women at the front desk were super accommodating and very friendly each and every time I came in for the night

The hot breakfast, yogurt and fresh fruit each morning was a huge bonus! The gentleman that prepared our breakfasts each and every day was super friendly and very nice and pleasant to talk with I did not get a chance to swim in the pool but everything in the area looked very clean, as well as the workout area The location to stores and restaurants is super convenient and I would highly recommend staying at this location if only to try it once

Stephen Arata

Front desk staff was very welcoming Room & bathroom were very clean, the bed & pillows were comfy, and the TV was nice The room was very quiet, even with a busy freight rail line 100-200 yards away; I barely heard the trains

even as a train buff, it was nice to not be woken up at 2 AM Continental breakfast the next morning was excellent & offered a great selection Even the coffee was top notch I look forward to coming back

holly raskoskie

Staff very friendly Big room smelled great fresh and clean Bathroom good size huge shower with message head

Whirlpool tub in room was nice big enough for two Bed seemed new little firm for me but comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep Very quiet except for around 7:30am Breakfast was standard hotel food but on the better side with blueberry waffles and a ton of toppings Bigalow teas and coffee in lobby and little bags of travel fuel didn’t get one so not sure what’s in it Didn’t use pool looked nicely set up and clean Over all very nice will stay again

Standard rooms you would expect at a Hampton Inn, nothing fancy, but clean, relatively spacious, with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee makerI was surprised by how good and plentiful the complimentary breakfast was There was a buffet of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and potatoes, plus a breads (toast, English muffins, and bagels, and cereals section, as well as a waffle maker section

In addition, there was an assortment of fresh fruits and yogurtsI also loved the all day coffee and tea station (alright at 8pm I tried to make myself some tea and found the hot water was empty) and afternoon cookies at 3 pm which were very delicious!!! They also have a snack bar section with various snacks and drinks for sale (chips, cookies, and sodas, etc)The concierge was always friendly and helpful and accommodating I had asked for a sewing kit and extra lotion and they were able to give my any extra toiletries right awayThis location is very convenient During our stay we visited the CIA, FDR’s house at Hyde Park, and had dinner and drinks on Main Street in New Paltz It was a wonderful home base for a weekend escape from the city

Wow,,,great Hilton property run by caring professionals~Front the front desk to the staff running the breakfast to the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff…this place is cared for-Very clean, bright, and welcomingThe room we stayed in was spotless…really nice bathroom set up with a spot for the towels on a shelf…nice shower with modern glass door and a new style drainPlenty of soaps available-The breakfast was solid…they had something for everyone

Good coffee and tea~ available most of the dayNice location in relation to surrounding destinations like local wineries and restaurants ~

Logan Frankel

Front desk was extremely nice and accommodating on multiple occasions Large room on the ground floor with high ceilings and king bed facing a large window which was very pretty 24 hour coffee/tea was amazing; the large diverse breakfast was as well

Very clean Only downside was that there were a good amount of ants in the bathroom Didn’t notice them at first but later in the day there were a lot on the floor and around the garbage I had discarded a tea cup that I used honey in one possible explanation But still there shouldn’t be a ton of ants coming out of the wall moulding in the bathroom

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Roosevelt Inn! The main thing I look for in accommodations is cleanliness, and this place did not disappoint The inn is SPOTLESS! Extremely clean and comfortable We booked a king room upstairs, and the room was a great size with a comfortable bed

The shower water was hot immediately and with nice pressure The continental breakfast is in a cute little downstairs area with a nice selection — toasted bagels, donuts, DELICIOUS muffins, coffee, OJ, fruit, etc to start the day Staff was lovely and greeted with a smile You can tell a great deal of pride goes into this establishment, and it shows Why pay $$$ to be close to the sights (Culinary Institute and FDR home and museum right down the street, plus much more) when the Roosevelt Inn is a great bang for your buck Looking forward to our return visit

Erin Hawkins

Stayed here for 4 nights, this place was better than expected Very clean, comfy bed, comfy pillows, clean bathroom, plenty of towels, and if you need anything (like the iron) the front desk is more than accommodating We were easily the youngest people there at 33/44

Quiet area, breakfast was more than enough Would definitely stay here again if I have to come back to Hyde Park

Shelley P.

Nice little hotel I was traveling alone and wanted a place that looked clean and not seedy This place fit the bill perfectly

It’s not fancy but still pretty and the room was nice There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning, more generous than most with lots of variety Good assortment of pastries, fruit and decent coffee

The hotel is quite new and rooms are in a great condition Nice lighting in the room Table lamp has charging ports and even an international power adapter

Breakfast was plentiful We stayed for 2 days There were different hot dishes available on these 2 days And of course the usual assortment of cereal, yogurt, breakfast pastries and so on I’d say fruit selection was unimpressive and there was no simple bread, though

Kimberly Leonard

I have stayed at this hotel several times and will stay there again It’s clean, modern and convenient for my purposes For the most part the staff is pleasant

I had trouble though getting housekeeping services (even though I requested for it) and when I called the front desk about just getting towels, I got quite an attitude and was asked to come and pick them up myself from the front desk This is not ok when your paying over $300 per night for a room!

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this Holiday Inn Express, which felt brand new Very clean, inviting and modern Beds were very comfortable

Breakfast selection was good and fresh All staff that we interacted with were very nice Some suggestions for improvement: more bathroom hooks for towels, more towels, and maid service could be a little more thorough (trash can missing bag, etc) But overall still a 5-star experience

What a wonderful clean and accommodating hotel! The staff was friendly They went above and beyond The room was clean and smelled good upon arrival

The beds in the room were like magic, we all fell asleep within minutes of settling into those clean sheets, plentiful pillows, and super comfortable mattress I haven’t slept that good in awhile The breakfast selection was very good, you could choose from a variety of items including hot breakfast items The pool area was clean and well maintained Mostly I was happy to bring my 3-year-old there because I didn’t have to worry about a filthy floor or surface anywhere in that hotel because it was so clean I definitely will be staying again when I visit this area
