I can’t not say enough how great our stay with Pat, Carrol and Gary at the Hideaway was The level of care they put into your stay with them is unmatched The environment they create is so welcoming, it felt like staying with old friends! Breakfast was always delicious, and wine downs were a must

They had great recommendations for places to visit for wine tasting and dinner We can’t wait to come back

Tiffany Cote

I took my husband up for his birthday and a day of wine tasting and I can’t say enough about the hospitality from Hideway Lodge Bed and Breakfast We enjoyed the recommendations for wineries and places to eat that were sent ahead of time and had a lovely time at the Wine Down and breakfast the next morning was wonderful Our hosts were so very pleasant to talk with and we are looking forward to going back!

Savannah Broadway

My partner and I came up for a few days of wine tasting and relaxation this past spring and, like most folks, our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer All three hosts were gracious, lovely people who took care of us down to the littlest detail of giving me some TUMs during some stomach upset They made fantastic local recommendations for wineries, eateries, and plant nurseries and we enjoyed every one of them

Between my partner and myself, we have some complicated food restrictions, but both breakfast and the Wine Down accommodated them brilliantly and deliciouslyThe grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with a beautifully-illustrated map highlighting the trails and landmarks and a variety of charming, quirky decorations scattered throughout The house is similarly lovely, spacious, and well-appointed If you’re having any doubts about staying here, put them aside because The Hideaway is well-worth the investment

I will definitely stay at the Belltown again when I am in the area! Staff was very friendly when checking in and helped us with our confusion about parking The hotel itself does not have a lot/garage, but has a few affiliated garages nearby for $30+tax and night, with street parking nearby also available We stayed on a Sunday night and found street parking and were able to park for free about a block away

The area was safe to park on the street and we had no problemsWe stayed in a petite queen room, and it was perfect for what we needed Smaller, yes, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and had the standard amenities such as TV, desk, and kitchenette with a sink and mini fridge The bathroom was also very clean Neither of us showered, so I can’t speak to the water pressure The building was definitely an older building, but everything was as updated as it could be I would recommend it and stay again

Marc

Only stayed for 1 night but it was a great experience Lobby was very welcoming and the room was nice Super quick and easy check-in with very friendly staff

The location was great as it was walking distance to a lot of great spots Parking is off site at a lot across the street but had plenty of available spots Would stay again!

Shelley Haynes

This was a great place to stay Cute and cozy! Loved the rooftop deck! They let us check in 5 hours early which is unheard of Location was super convenient

We were able to go everywhere we needed to by foot (And I am not the most fit person in the world 😂) Space needle, Pikes Place and after check out we walked to the pier to catch our cruise shipFront desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeableA little pricey but that seems to be because we chose the weekend of the air show/ sea fair So, no fault to Belltown! Would stay here again and again!!

Green Tortoise Hostel was a good place to stay for one night All the required amenities were available Location was definitely the best part – right in the heart of Seattle

The staff were okay – I found some to be rude and dismissive, and the check in process took over half an hour with only one staff member working I’ve stayed in countless hostels all over the world and it’s never taken this long! Bathrooms were okay, although a bit smelly and old Room was also fine I liked the privacy curtains on the beds but needed one on the other side next to the window as it was super bright Breakfast was nice to have for free but I would’ve also liked some sort of social event in the evening It seems like those are only a few nights a week Not sure if I would stay again but it was a reasonable hostel experience Some things need improvement though and I’m glad I only needed to stay for one night

James Rumburg

It was a great stay overall at this hostel! The staff are super friendly and are willing to hold bags on the day that you leave if you have a late flight out of SeaTac as I did The whole place is very clean and had many places to get work done if needed They offer free breakfast which was very helpful

It is right across the street from Pike Place and a few blocks away from public transit that can take you to other attractions and the Airport No weak points in this stay and would highly recommend checking them out!

Phuong Huynh

What a great place for the value! I’ve stayed at a lot of hostel in the US before and I think Green Tortoise would be one of top ones!I came when it was fully booked due to a convention but it still felt not crowded Pro:1 Super close to Pike Place and many attractions, plus public transportation to airport2

Target is right next door for anything you need3 Beds frames are made of solid wood, doesn’t make noise if using top bunk or moving ( unlike a lot the cheap ikea metal frames you’ve probably seen at other hostels) The storage space is half a twin bed size for luggageone of the most comfortable mattresses I slept on 4 Bathrooms are individual rooms, so it’s one person at a time5 Some Rooms have sink, so it’s easy to brush teeth without need to use bathroom6 Common areas are fairly clean and there’s always room to chill There’s free breakfast but I didn’t eat itCon:It’s downtown, so it can be very “urban” if you are not used to homelessness and noise on the streetSome rooms are street side, so it might be noisy if you are a light sleeper but they have free ear plugs!Rooms can be hot but each bed has a fanBest thing is the wonderful and nice staffs, they are super friendly and chillTip: get 4-6 beds, it’s worth the couple extra dollars compare to 8 beds

We stayed here last week one night before our cruise and one night after Dave was great! We arrived early and he was so helpful and got us to our rooms early He even advised us when he would be feeding the fish because he saw how interested my grandson was

He was so professional and accommodating We arrived early on the night after our cruise and again, the gentleman who greeted us was great I would highly recommend this hotel It is also in a great location The breakfast was very covid conscientious with a quality alternative to the traditional continental

Samantha Thoms

The gentleman at the front desk upon arrival was extremely friendly and accommodating and each time I entered or left the hotel I was promptly greeted with a smiling face Although the breakfast was less than it used to be, I will still happy they provided something where other hotels are still not I chose this hotel for the on-site parking and pet friendly rooms

The hotel is a block away from a park with a small, but convenient, off leash dog park, which we used numerous times during our stay Walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores and a short distance to Pike Place Market We have already book for our next stay in Seattle

Adam Nott

Unfussy hotel near downtown Seattle, with plenty of amenities for work or leisureThe rooms are clean and well-stocked, although the A/C unit is a bit underwhelming this shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re a penguin I don’t know if it’s standard among the rooms but I had a double shower head and that was one of the best showers I’ve had in a hotel, and definitely the highlight for me

Breakfast was underwhelming; the only hot food were microwavable frozen meals, waffles, and coffee But other than that, it was quite a pleasant stay

My family and I stayed here for a total of four nights We were very pleased with our room based on overall cleanliness, being on the first floor, and closeness to one of the hotel entrances Parking, WIFI and breakfast are included

They have a 24/7 front desk which was helpful when our key suddenly didn’t work- keep your hotel key away from your electronic devices The hotel is quiet even though it is conveniently located close to the 405 The hotel is also close to a few trails and a couple sports fields There’s also a gas station and quick food places in walking distance as it is accessible via the same driveway to the hotel I would stay here again

Reg D.

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, great breakfast options, pool, hot tub, bar on the premises I did not have a chance to use fitness center or guest laundry but both are available Parking was adequate and I saw pets were allowed

Loved the hot fresh baked cookie snacks in the afternoon!! Very close to I-405 so the location was great for me This hotel is very quiet and it is in the area of the Bothell Business Park

Hotel room was clean, staff were nice and helpful, and the location was pretty convenient However, the room we stayed in was very cramped My husband and I came on a week long trip so we had 2 pretty large suitcases, and there was almost no space to put them in the room

There was only enough floor space to get around the bed and exit the room The shower stall was also incredibly small I’m 5’2″, and I could barely fit in the stall without bumping into walls and the shower handle Hotel Max would be fine for an overnight stay, or if you don’t have large bags, but for our 3 day stay, I wasn’t super comfortable

S D

My partner and I have just checked in Flummoxed by the $100 a day deposit, as well as the $20 a day “amenity” fee Fine whatever maybe the room is super luxe

We’re told that there’s a complimentary beer on check in, ok pretty cool but we don’t drink can we get Coke instead and this guy hands us ONE can of Coke Er what? Then we get up into the room and first off it’s poky, not small but poky There’s long curly hairs in the sink and on the toilet paper rollBarely any toiletriesThere’s charging for your devices on only one side of the bed Also only one robe in the closet This room is obviously set up for the solo traveller Not for couples at allThe TV is messed up can’t play without stopping, image all garbled See pics can’t describe itFound what looked like a scab at worst or dried food at best in the bedMy partner tried to call the front desk but couldn’t get through so now he’s downstairs trying to get a different roomWas pretty excited walking into the lobby but unfortunately that excitement didn’t last very long at all

Jesse Smith

Wifi doesn’t work at all, and even worse messes with cell reception, your “beverage” upon arrival is light beer in a red solo cup, air conditioner doesn’t work, not even a chair in the room, get a 2 bed and the walls are set to where only one bed can see the TV, hidden fees that don’t go to your total, not a chair in the entire place Better off at a best western honestly Get ready for an extra bill too

An “amenity fee” Really don’t know how this place stays open

We had a delightful two nights’ stay with John and Beth They were warm and welcoming We had the entire lower level to ourselves and it was impeccably clean with everything you need for comfort

The shower pressure was fabulous and breakfast was quite enjoyable John and Beth even packed us a to-go breakfast for our early morning departure The view of the lake and grounds surrounding the home were fabulous Would highly recommend

Evy Lu

This place was amazing The owners, John and Beth are a lovely couple My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time

The breakfast was delicious We booked another stay for this summer because we were in love with this place and the owners were such an interesting couple that we couldn’t stop talking to them 100% recommendedI believe their home has such a good energy that as soon as you arrive you feel it John and Beth made this place a very lovely getaway and making their guests feel so comfortable in their house speaks volumes about their heartsIt was nice hearing Beth playing the piano and John sang a song to us while we were having breakfast in the gazeboSee you again this summer, John and BethPs It was awesome to know details about the tree house and their dog, Sadie, is so cute and a well behaved dog She stole our hearts

When you want to stay in Woodinville but not in a motel, this is the obvious choice! Five stars (out of five)Cottage Lake B&B is an idyll of the likes you wished to have every day We booked our stay at the very last minute (snagging a rare late, one-night cancellation), and I cannot overstate the satisfaction of our serendipity

This is a beautiful property, serenely located and lovingly tended to, with care and creativity that impressed us and will likely meet or surpass the expectations of any prospective guests The setting is sublime: an eastward view of historic Cottage Lake and its gentle shores and water The hospitality is welcoming to the point of friendship, and the accommodations are commodious and home-friendly That the hosts are so welcoming (and musically talented) made our stay all the more special and meaningful We look forward to staying again EDITED: (Do note that if you book through any of the major online booking sites, the cleaning fee, as well as a small resort fee, are in addition to the price quoted, and likely will be higher than if you book directly through their website directly)

Great stay for local shopping – close to everything, including walking distance to restaurants Nice decor – surprised to walk into the room and immediately see a large sink in a furniture type vanity, but it was a practical option for bathroom sharing Room even had a desk, lounge chair with ottoman, fridge, and microwave

Breakfast buffet is included – cereals, breads, scrambled egg chunks with cheese, sausages, fresh waffles, grab-n-go danishes, juice, etc Pool isn’t open but spa is Overall a satisfying visit, and would stay again

Jeremy Adderley

We enjoyed the one night stay and how the front desk agent helped us in booking the room She even offered the rewards program, which knocked off about $20 the room after signing up We got a room with a jacuzzi in the room, and it looked and worked great

The price for the room is what got us to stay there My wife also prefers the brand name I booked directly with the hotel It may not be the best price, but I feel it’s better to go through the place directly

Strider Agostinelli

Not the worst hotel, but defiantly falling apart An average 25 star hotel overall

Staff is friendly and does their best to help 5 star staffThe lower rating is because of a few things:1) The pool and hot tub are under construction2) The room I initially got had some maintenance issues, such as the shower rod coming out of the wall ready to fall Honestly, I wouldn’t have expected the staff to notice it unless they were using the showers3) The quality of the amenities in the room is a little below what I expected

We love these places! Got our passports, and are having a blast filling them up We always meet some interesting people, too 💖😎Since there are no refrigerators in the rooms, they should offer ice, and ice chest rentals (We brought a rolling cooler) Only a suggestion

The staff really rock it The grounds are really beautiful also

Ashli Van De Weert

We had a wonderful time and stay at The Anderson School We were visiting Seattle after attending a wedding in Mt Rainier National Park and absolutely loved the hotel and room we were in The ceilings are insanely tall and the room was spotless

The pool was big and my son loved it The restaurants were good other than poor table service one night they were very busy We understood they were understaffed at the time There were constantly people stoking and adding firewood to their fireplaces and fire pits in the courtyard Lastly, we had bought movie tickets and there was a mix up with an event they were having Instead of just refunding us the money, they gave us a private showing! Absolutely above and beyond

Anna E

Really cool hotel with lots of history to learn about The restaurant on site was delicious and had a cool atmosphere The lagoon looked really nice, I’ll have to swim if I stay here again

The only downside to our room was it didn’t have a fridge Even a small one would be nice, especially since it was almost 90 degrees when we stayed there

We had a convention here and they were really lovely to work with The rooms were comfortable and the amenities were wonderful They’re meeting rooms are easy to find and nicely set up

The only reason it got four stars instead of five was it was really hot Not sure if they just didn’t have the air conditioning up or if it wasn’t strong enough I would definitely recommend staying here

Stephen Lumsden

Beautiful place But for all the luxuries and high prices you don’t even get a microwave… and a full breakfast is $20 a person So if like us, you go shopping for your food I hope you like it about as warm as a dead seagull

(Update) I reached out and didn’t get far, the site crashed Not sure why that’s necessary anyway because the issue I had was plainly laid out in the review, and I SERIOUSLY doubt they’d give me any sort or refund or discount

Ahimelec Diaz

When I booked this the pictures of the rooms looked great but I realized that they were a little misleading When we got to our room the room was at 77 degrees and the thermostat said it was set to 65 Called the front desk and they weren’t super helpful just said someone would come by and check it out in a few

The walls were super dirty and the room was smelly the bathroom was dirty and there was mold around the tub Wouldn’t stay here again Not worth the money that was paid

I love Marriotts but previous reviews are correct…this is a pretty outdated hotel The wall paneling has fallen off the interior of the elevators and the thermostats are old school, yellow, hard to adjust ones We had two rooms, the exact same, and one had a microwave and the other didn’t

The fitness center was decent but missing two or three separate weights (15lbs and a few others)It was a clean hotel, though The key cards are the outdated insert ones that get demagnetized if you look at them funny (I got locked out three times) but I was told they would be updated to the tap style and digital key cards this month Staff are super super friendly though

Vanessa Diaz

Before anything, staff was polite and respectful They were the only good thing to this place The lobby is nice and new; the rooms are horrible!!! It is very used and aged

Look at the image of the chair! Our room faced the freeway and we got a so-called balcony All we saw was dirty chairs, stacked table, and trash in gutters The carpet had long white hairs all over itit was gross Now look at the glass door image, what is that? Is that a shatter from an object like a rock? Bullet? This room was a huge NO Plus, who allows a guest to stay in a room with 2 wasps nest in the balcony?!!!

Joshua L

Dated hotel Heard people all night long in their rooms No breakfast

Very expensive compared to other hotels in the area Room smelled of animal pee I only gave two stars cuz the pool was nice Front desk staff was very nice and switched me to a 2 queen room Won’t stay here again unless everything else is booked up All in all was disappointed for the $180 dollar price tag
