Good breakfast (she does a good job in presentation) room was clean It didn’t smell like they were trying to cover something up… It was clean and maintained ( my personal things didn’t smell like a nasty AC unit the next at home like other places)I will stay here every time it’s needed49 stars (Even being next to interstate 75 …it was still very quite)

I have stayed in this hotel three times already, and the last two times I did my check- in with Myrtle and from the moment we entered the hotel she had a HORRIBLE attitude making our family feel very unconfortable We normally travel with our service dog, and the hotel policy specify that only service animals are allowed However, as soon as we entered the hotel Myrtle gave our dog a dirty look, which for us is completely unacceptable

Our dog is not just my daughter’s companion, but also part of our family Its safe to say this will be the last time we stay at this hotel We don’t need to deal with rude people when there so many hotels where our family will feel welcomed

This hotel was pretty good The service was amazing The front desk clerk Angel was an angel! Not so much the lady at night though who was a bit cranky

Always chocolate chip cookies in the pm which my kids loved! Nice free breakfast The only other but would be the bath towels were smaller than usual and the coffee is bad Other than these I would definitely go back and recommend it

Katherine

Although the overall hotel was very clean and the front desk attendant at check out was great! not so much in the morning The breakfast was horrible yuck unless you like powdered eggs the coffee was like water

But worst of all was that our air did not work and the toilet was not working properly it was so loud that we had to shut off the water to it in order to try and get some sleep We got back to the room from out night out (we only stayed one night) at 2am so we suffered through the night and let the front desk know our issues early that morning We were told a manager would contact us No surprise that we did not received no communication When I called back I was simply told that we should have let them know at 2:30 am when we realized the air wasn’t working and the toilet had an issue No we are sorry or even an offer for a discount on a future stay Not acceptable!

Kenn

Although very close to family, I was disappointed with some areasAfter spending the night out we returned to our to find insufficient handicap parking When we went to shower in the morning we found the coffee maker was not cleaned from previous guests

The shampoo bottle was almost empty and the conditioner was totally empty The hand cream top was full of used lotion This only leads me to believe that other things in the room weren’t doneWhen we went to check out I explained to the front desk about our stay and the only response from her was to shuffle her shoulders No apology saying have a nice dayI wrote management regarding these concerns, and to my surprise I get a form letter back I then followed up with a email directly to hotel manager and have not heard backI think Best Western needs to look at things at the hotel

We stayed at this property while in the Tampa area for a golf weekend What a tremendous staff balancing a bunch of adult golfers and twice as many soccer families Breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful

Bar staff, very friendly and fun Pool area is separated from an outdoor patio, so adults can enjoy the great outdoors without being splashed, while families enjoyed themselves as well Overall, an easy hotel to get to, lots of restaurants nearby Accommodations very comfortable and spacious

Hailey Nesta

This was my first time staying at this hotel Overall, the lobby area was really clean and newThe room was really impressive, starting with the large couch, comfy bed and nice clean bathroom

The reason I provided your location with 2/5 stars was my experience with some of the employees Check out is at 12pm To constantly have housekeeping knock at my door every couple minutes after around 11am is annoying and frustrating That lasthour I shouldn’t be bothered by housekeeping Checkout isn’t until 12pm Then, I go to checkout and the lady is sitting on the phone not even acknowledging me as a guest I wanted to charge my snack to my room then simply checkout and go I had absolutely no interaction with the front desk agent It’s disappointing to see that over the phone guests matter more than the paying guest standing in-front of you After this experience with the employees, I don’t know if I will return back to this hotel

Terra T.

Great place to stay I was happy with it, it’s not a full service Marriot but has continental breakfast It has a pool and 24 hour gym

The bed was very comfortable It included a little bar area with sink, microwave and really cold fridge The only thing I didn’t like was the shower curtain was too short and water got all over the place

Great hotel, clean rooms, pool was cold but nothing a bit of sunburn won’t cure The staff was great and very polite Oddly, in the middle of the night, the water goes out

A++++++ THANK YOU JASMINE & RAMONA !!!! I haven’t reviewed a hotel in a whole long time but these two people at Marriott here really made me feel welcome They had all my room preferences taken into consideration and offered me so much during my check in 💙💯I really appreciate the wonderful, very clean, comfortable room you have for me

Not only did they take the time to rebook my next room for the rest of the weekend, Thank you Jasmine They also helped me with getting my laundry done by borrowing me a few quarters from their own pocket, thank you Ramona 🙂🙏You both really are great and kind, and they should have more people such as yourselves working or training others at property’s that don’t go all the way like you both have 🔥🤙🇺🇸💜Sincerely,Joe

I just want to say, the front desk is very kind and attentive I was making tea near the front (they have free coffee and tea) and I ran out of hot water The nice front desk lady immediately noticed and asked nicely if I need any more

The shower water was softened so it felt so nice and I loved how easy it was to make the water hot quickly The beds were so comfy, we were like how can we get some of these kind of beds at home LOL??? Very cloud-like with just the right amount of firmness, so I felt well rested in the morning They offered free snacks at around 7 PM, free popcorn and cookies! They were delicious, as well as the complimentary breakfast in the morning The breakfast had eggs, sausage, biscuits, muffins, bagels, toast, apple, orange, and cranberry juice, hot and cold cereal, all sorts of good stuff It was really nice and clean in the rooms and all throughout the hotel— loved it! Would definitely recommend for a place to stay!

Home away from home I’m writing this review in regards to Luis and Deborah These two individuals have gone above and beyond to accommodate my stay here at the Sleep Inn Wesley Chapel-Tampa North

They both have bright smiles and professional attitude’s that speaks volumes of their dedication to the guest’s that choose to stay at this location What I like most about my experience with Luis and Deborah is their sincerity, I believe they both care deeply that my needs are met and that I feel welcomed and appreciated Thank you Luis Thank you Deborah 5 Stars are not enough, both of you exceed that tremendously

Eric ilasenko

Great staff made us feel welcome and appreciated as guests Property looks good and things were clean Loved the entrance overhang that let us unload safely dry in a tropical downpour

Sadly, our beds absolutely sucked! They were both uncomfortable to the point of needing sleep meds to fall asleep, and we both woke up sore in the morning Beds felt worn out, and I did too the next day Made trying to work a hard 14 hour day miserable and it will impact where I’ll stay in the future

Breakfast was back to pre-pandemic and was pretty nice offering The room has been updated However, the cleanliness and service has something to be desired

Check in front desk was great but we messaged front desk at 12:13 asking for another wash cloth as there was only 1 in the room and never heard back even next morning or when we were sleeping I understand staffing but communication is key There is also mold in the shower on the ceiling and the shampoos Really needs detailed cleaning

Katelyn Valles

I had a good experience I think it would have been better if there was more storage space options like dressers or drawers to put your belongings inI also thought the breakfast was average

They had back order issues for oatmeal and the only fruit they had were apples They served scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, packages waffles, yogurt and have different juicesThe pillows were way too soft and they didn’t have an extra pillow stored anywhereEverything else was fine Service was good

A nice place to stay in the North Tampa AreaThis is a Marriott Brand hotel There are 1118 of these hotels across 828 cities in the 50 states This particular hotel is a 5 story affair located off the southeast corner of the intersection of I-95 and East Fletcher Ave

It can be a little tricky to get to the entrance since it is located on a side road with only one entrance off that road sandwiched between a Bob Evans and an Extended Stay hotel There is not much that is within walking distance of the hotel but it seems a fairly quiet area There appears to be plenty of parking and a covered entrance The lobby is very small but the staff was friendly There is a breakfast area with complimentary coffee in the morning and a workout room The room was a semi-suite with a seating area and a bedroom separated by a wall with an open entrance The front portion of the room had the restroom by the front door and a pull-out bed And the bedroom area had a low set of drawers, 2 side tables, and a large tv Overall, it was a nice hotel at a reasonable price

Stayed 2 weeks at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint me at all Place is clean, breakfast is decent (I make my own egg and cheese burrito, maybe they can add sour cream next time), love the fireplace at night to keep you warm, reception is very friendly except for one Would be nice if a certain receptionist understands the hospitality work she’s in, a receptionist is the first person that greets you very time you drop by the front desk

She seems to be not happy with her job Asked her if she’s okay one day as she’s got this long face all the time and her response is she’s tired Aren’t we all? I like approaching Jessica and Karen as they always have that welcoming smile on their faces and interacts with the guests when needed, highly commendable Julie their manager is phenomenal I can’t count how many I asked her to change the way my billing is done and she did with patience Would I go back to this place again or recommend it to friends and families? ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY!

Great experience a newer property, solid friendly service, however it was the properties breakfast that won me over The people working the breakfast area always smiling, always offering to help, made me smile to start my day Breakfast choices were excellent and in an age where many places using covid as the reason they cut back, this was one of the best

I enjoyed my breakfast Well done!

Jason PDSI

Was there for two nights last weekend for a fan fest Blown away by the cleanliness and friendly staff Room was EXQUISITE

I’ve never stayed in a room with a full kitchen before, including fridge, oven, and DISHWASHER As you can tell, I don’t travel much, and even when I do, I usually stay at a cheaper motel Continentalbreakfast was biscuits and gravy, eggs, and delicious breakfast sandwiches, as well as oatmeal, bagels, etc Giving it the Dave Meltzer Kenny Omega In The Egg Dome SEVEN STARS

We usually stay at Comfort Inn but decided to “up our game” on this trip The problem started when we arrived They were resealing the asphalt parking lot so a lot of it was blocked off and what few places were left was taken by cars and trucks parking sideways across multiple parking spaces and still others were blocked by orange cones

The second night, the desk attendant told my daughter to park far away in a dark parking lot Didn’t care about the cars parked sideways Didn’t show any compassion to the situation at all I moved a cone and took a spotThe room was decent The window gave us a great view of the roof of part of the lower building and side of another part of the building The beds, in my opinion, were not as comfortable as the other hotels I mentioned The A/C worked great The room was cool when we entered and it got cooler very fast The thermostat had some blown LCD’s but you can tell the temperature well enoughThe ice machine is right beside the elevatorOne curious thing was that the trash bags were just laid across one lip if the trashcans (bathroom and bedroom cans) I mean, even Motel 6 puts the open bags in the cans so they can be used and trash taken out easily, but these trashcans had the new, unopened bags just draped over one rim Do they expect me to pay more for a room and also open the bags myself? That isn’t going to happenThe bathroom had a hanging “barn door” which was cool The handle to the tub felt loose I thought it could fall off but it didn’t The water pressure was great Good hot water But there was a small sulphur smell to the water This could be a Florida thing because the water at my in-laws smells and tastes the same so can’t hold that against HiltonMy daughter purchased breakfast with the room NO FREE BREAKFAST? Even Quality Inn has free breakfast But at least the breakfast here is real eggs which was nice You can order specially cooked eggs (omelets, over easy, etc) Browned potatoes, bacon, sausages, bagels, muffins, juices (apple, orange, pink grapefruit) I didn’t look at what else was offered And even though the meal was part of the room deal, when we asked for the omelets, we were brought a bill It had “complementary” written across it But 2 omelets was $28? I know it was for the omelets because the second morning we just had the buffet But apparently the bill was brought for a tipI think I’ll stick with my favorite hotels from now on With the parking problem and the lack of concern from the desk clerk and the weird thing with the trash bags, it soured me on “fancier” hotels I’m sorry if the management doesn’t like this review, but this was our stay Don’t like not getting rave reviews, fix the problems mentioned

Family is the word that describes this wonderful hotel Been here on a family emergency this folks has been so helpful showing us how to get around and giving us a ride when we needed During breakfast the young lady name barbie really took good care of of and very knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to right direction as well as taking goodcare of us During breakfast

ask for barbie she’s a peach what a wonderful person Thank you barbie 😊

This was a staycation to visit family and this hotel deserves more than 5 stars The pictures don’t give it justice Our room was thoroughly cleaned and I liked that even the remote was sealed with plastic post pandemic

And the receptionist Agnus (something along those lines) was one of the best receptionist I’ve encountered From greeting as soon as we walked in and from making sure we were ok each time we crossed paths And the breakfast was really good buffet style but wish it was free breakfast but 1294 per person isn’t bad either

This is our second time staying at this hotel It is so accommodating, and comfortable It offers a really good breakfast where you can find fruits, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, cereal, coffee, you name it, it’ll probably be there

There is also a small gym and a pool There is a bar at the entrance, where you can stop by for a couple of drinks before going to bed Also there are a lot of restaurants and stores and an outlet mall across the street Definitely a great place to stay, and will likely go back

Bad experience here My wife and I typically stay with the Hyatt chain First time coming to this one and it was horrible

The room was not clean and we complained The front desk did nothing about it We asked for bath robes or slippers and the employee told us “we are not that type of hotel, you should have went to that type of hotel if you want those things” Very rude and I will never use Hyatt again

Ashleigh Perry

I use love staying here but this evening not so much The gentlemen at the front desk was totally rude and insensitive to what could be going on in my personal life and wanted to say something about my finances in front of 2 others That’s not acceptable

My finances are none of his concern Especially when all I was trying to do was split the payment between two cards I didn’t have enough for the $50 deposit on one card so I asked if we could use a different card for that After a hour of absolutely no help I went on Priceline and paid that way and was told by the ride man that I had to cancel that and use them That was the straw that broke my back and than he had to say what he did about mg finances I don’t need a person that I don’t even know to chime in in my life That’s not his job So needless to say it wasn’t a good time I’m guessing it was because of me being white and not putting up with his ignorant comment that he kicked me out of the hotel and left me with no place to lay my head that night People in Customer Service shouldn’t act like they’re better than anyone, they’re supposed to help, not belittle

The staff at this location goes above and beyond for the guest I’ve never stayed at a hotel that provided great customer service in addition to handling guest with extra care I’ve stayed at this location twice, both times the property was clean and again the staff was welcoming

Last minute arrangements & reservations were made for my large family with ease I really appreciate the kindness of the staff as well as very clean facility All members at the front desk greeted us with a smile and answers for any questions we may have had Thank you again for a great experience & stay

Mike

Stayed here twice for a week each over the past few months Love it! Very clean and nice I’ll keep coming here for work! Love the included convenient breakfast

I would say though that the elevators are super slow, the pool is small, the bedroom doors are loud and woke me up a couple times, but I thinks these complaints are minor and at most other hotels so I will still give it 5 stars! The employees are great and super friendly and kind Thank you!

Wonderful location for visiting Busch gardens, Tampa zoo, Ybor and sites Hotel staff were so warm and welcoming Multiple times I went down to the front desk with questions regarding our stay and surrounding areas and they always treated our family so well

Breakfast was very nice and room was very spacious and comfortable Certainly will visit again

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and don’t usually take the time to write anything but this one deserves a couple notesGreat blackout curtain if you plan to take advantage of the noon checkout Also a dividing curtain inside the room if you’re travelling with different sleep schedules

Tables that easily move so you don’t have to use the ironing board as a second deskAnd my husband’s favorite, which sounds silly but: a shelf you can see onto so you’re not worried about leaving things sitting on it!A+ rooms and service, even in the middle of the night Will definitely seek out this chain in my travels from now on

I always stay at Homes 2 suites any time I travel It is always clean, has a pool, complimentary breakfast and I can bring my small papillon who I cannot board and do not have anywhere else to bring her The hotel makes a stay for business or vacation always feel like home

I’m so grateful to have these hotels and with locations everywhere it’s always my go to choice I was a bit disappointed about the location of this particular hotel because of the loud road noise and the girl that greeted me and checked me in was incredibly rude however, I didn’t see her again at all my entire visit All of the other staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful

Everyone here was super friendly It seemed important for the staff to ask how we were doing throughout the day and respect our wishes Rob at the front desk was helpful, friendly and very responsive to our needs

The room with 2 double beds was huge Hotel was clean and very dog friendly Distance to Busch Gardens couldn’t have been better at 5 miles Breakfast was amazing from waffles and bagels to cereal and fresh fruit Thanks for a great visit!

Our stay was nice Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable We were greeted with kindness as the same when we departed

We had traveled to visit my daughter who goes to USF When we got to the hotel we had brought a whole bunch of cheese for my daughter which we put into the mini fridge right away (We are from Wisconsin and live put cheese!) Unfortunately, when we left the next morning we forgot the cheese (totally our fault!), but called the hotel a couple hours later when we remembered The lady who answered was very nice and after several minutes of waiting on hold she notified us that our cheese was gone For real?! When cleaning a room you don’t see all this unopened cheese and think, huh, maybe they will come back? I can see if we called the next day expecting it, but it wasn’t even two hours later Very disappointing Hotel definitely gets a 4-5 stars, but housekeeping-1!

We were late arriving from Orlando and had gotten lost We called the front desk and a gentleman gave me perfect directions to help us arrive to the hotel Once we arrived (10pm) we were greeted by Doug

He was outstanding! We thanked him for the perfect directions and his hospitality We ending up booking for 2 nights instead of just the one just because of Doug He was that welcoming Breakfast was included and it was a hot breakfast at that! Delicious After a long day at Busch Gardens we soaked in the pool It was perfect! Comfortable beds, great room layout and extremely clean We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Excellent location and would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone If we could give it 10 stars we would

Nice place, a little off the beaten path, but really liked the location Room was nice Had everything we needed

What I found odd was that the bathroom was separated Not a bad odd, sort of indifferent Had never seen it in a hotel before The shower and sink were in one room and the toilet and small sink were in another room Side by sideAll in the same hotel room I guess it helps if someone is in the shower and you really need to use the bathroom Maybe they’re on to something! It was very clean, fridge, microwave and coffee maker Breakfast was awesome!! Waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, cerealsthe normal Would definitely stay again when in the area

I wish I would have read the reviews before paying $309 for this room! It smelled AWFUL, as if someone had a BM and didn’t flush the toilet It was clear that while the room “looked” clean it wasn’t very clean The carpet felt questionable and the bed linens didn’t feel as though they underwent a deep wash

The noise from the shower kept me up most of the night-some sort of knocking noise that I still have not been able to pinpoint Maybe the pipes I have no idea! One elevator was broken and the hotel was packed with various youth sporting event guests And shame on me for not doing my research but we were not aware that this is a pet friendly hotel We’re in the hallway when out of nowhere an unleashed dog comes running at us “He doesn’t bite!” the up in age owner yelled as he unsuccessfully chased rocket dog to the end of the hallway Alrighty thenWoke up and was greeted by a bunch of tiny ants in the shower portion of the bathroom (there is a sink and toilet in one area; a sink with counter and shower in a separate area) I had to use the prepackaged makeup remover wipes to kill them As I typed this review, many more ants had come out, possibly to recover the bodies of the fallenSpoke with the Ops Manager She immediately offered me a $40 discount, which was both laughable and predictable We were booked under a group block with a rate of $269/night I was told I couldn’t have the group rate when I cancelled one night of our reservation, thus the $309 rate So my “discount” was essentially the group rate they initially refused to honor What a jokeWe will never, ever, ever stay here again!

Very good vibe one of the best relaxing places we have been in a long time , We went as a couple, and truly loved it, the staff and the guess where very nice and respectful, they welcomed us with open arms since we where new to it all, we have been on both slower weekdays, And the busy weekends, both are great and a fun time The daytime pool party’s by the 7 beautiful pools is the most relaxing feeling swimming by the palm trees and water fall makes u feel like u are on a beach, the night life and clubs is truly one of a kind, we cant get enough of that place the security is great and always makes u feel safe

First room they gave us smelled strongly of smoke They were prompt about giving us a new one They moved us to the first floor

In the morning it was extremely loud outside with people slamming doors, perhaps the cleaning crew There is no carpet so everything echoes loudly The room was fine Efficiency style Everything very basic but it was clean The pool is small and it was dirty with goggles and hair ties at the bottom For the price of $299 a night I would expect better

Brenda DiPalma

Really good hotel Convenient to Moffitt Cancer Center I haven’t asked yet about handicapped rooms

Are their any available? We book online but there’s no place for special needs I was comfortable in my room, it was clean and cool Love those blinds! People were nice, the grounds were well kept The pool was beautiful and taken care of Looks like new carpet, very pretty Breakfast is right on The other 2 hotels by this hotel do not have good breakfasts The whole staff was kind, considerate and friendly I will be back for my next round of chemo and will definitely stay at your establishment Thank you!

Horrible! We are IHG gold elite members Never had a problem at any of their hotels and on the contrary theyvare always our go to place to stay But this one is truly one to write about

They booked us into a room that they knowingly knew had a broken AC because when we called the front desk the lady said they knew and had been trying to fix for 2 days She told us the hotel was fully booked and we needed to deal with it and call the general manager the day after That there was nothing she could or would do and assumes since they have known, that maintenance ordered parts She was extremely rude and unfazed by the horrible service she was providing We called IHG complaint line, they called hotel, spoke to Kara who said she would call us immediately to correct issue Well here we are day 2 with no phone call from anyone To make it worst the room was dirty in ways you don’t even want to know Don’t bother staying here until you are sure this is 100% under new management and staff

We stayed here our 4th night on the road and let me just say it This place was exceptional Very clean

Even the fitness center was beautifully maintained The breakfast was better than a restaurant Piping hot and tasty The woman in charge of the whole dining experience was very friendly but not at all invasive She was treated everyone like she was happy they chose to be there We would stay here again I thought I had taken pictures but I guess I didn’t

Jeff Ruth

We can’t recommend this hotel They cancelled our reservations the morning of our arrival

right as we were in the middle of a 12 hour drive to stay with them We had no other options in the area and had to sleep with some friends on their couch Their reasoning for the cancellation they said our booking on Expedia was not a guarantee as we needed 2 beds and a pull-out sofa for my son They said that was a “request” The room was paid for and for all we knew we were set I’ve never had a hotel do this to us before If you booked with them directly you may be fine If you use a third-party website I’d avoid this place You are not a priority

Maggie Flynn

Hotel is clean and everything and have amenities, but the hours are so limited on the pool, it makes it hard to enjoy and of them, especially if you are only staying one night Check in isn’t until 4pm, leaving you 15 hours to swim when the sun sets at 5:30

Or 3 hours if the sun sets at 7 It’s just not accommodating at all Then they tell you (rudely) that you can hang out at the fire pits as long as you don’t “make any noise” Those were the exact words of three person at the front desk We are already dreading our stay and it hasn’t even started yet

This place is the BEST! I recently stayed for a weekend and accidently left my work computer in my room I realized when I got home The office manager and staff were so helpful and kind

They helped with the return and I was so grateful I had a shipping company pick up my computer and I received it back in perfect condition Definitely the place to stay! Thank you! Thank you!

When getting a hotel like La Quinta Inn, you need to remember you’re not staying at the Sheraton or Embassy Suites You’re getting something affordable, convenient, and reliable which is exactly what it was! So I’m typically not as picky or critical if something is going on I needed a place to stay for a few days and I got a very comfortable stay

Rooms were a little outdated but cozy, breakfast was nice but there wasn’t much variety And all of that is fine! It’s not the Sheraton rememberThe location to Busch Gardens was awesome and a short Uber/Lyft away and there were some shops about a 10-15 minute walk away which was convenient The staff was extremely friendly and was helpful in answering any question or dealing with any issue I had They were awesome and a big part of the reason why I enjoyed my stayThe stay wasn’t perfect, there was some issues with the toilet, a little water leaked from the AC window unit and I had to get a new key card because mine didn’t work for my room Did I want this to happen? Absolutely not, but for the price I paid and convenience I was okay with it

magaly ramos

The bathroom it’s too low to the floor do you need to update the room more model The carpet needs to go they look really old! The people works there they’re really nice the lobby everything smells good but they need new carpet update to look nicer! The only thing I don’t like the doors when you go in the room they make tuna too much noise you sure slam doors all night
