KAREN CARPENTER

Excellent!!! Very clean! Paul the Manger was very helpful and friendly My stay was for work purposes Great location, beds and pillows were nice and comfortable

Being a female in an out of town place I always felt very safe, compared to some of the other hotels in the surrounding area Cannot say enough about the manager he takes pride in his job and takes very good care of his customers The location is close to anything that you could need and the price is very affordable Will definitely return

Jon Little

We stay in the area for 3-4 nights every January We had been looking for a motel that was more reasonably priced than those near the coast, convenient, and centrally located for our birding interests This place hit the spot

After reading a number of reviews (I always check the worst ones first and was satisfied with the owner’s responses to the negative ones), I made a reservation It was a very good choice The room was perfect for our use After planning to stay 3 nights, we decided to stay 4 Paul, the manager told us they were totally booked for that night, so we began to make other plans About 10 minutes later, he contacted us and said he had rearranged other room reservations and that we could stay the extra night That added consideration, surprising as it was, simply made our day Needless to say, we were more than happy with the treatment we got from management No breakfast? Totally minor concern – we found numerous places to fill that need nearby We fully recommend this motel to anyone

Jill Bisberg

We have stayed here 2 times, and will stay here every time we are in south Florida! The property is exceptionally clean inside and out It puts lost big name hotels to shame with how clean it is and how well it is managed and cared for The manager Paul is amazing

He is incredibly professional, friendly, and very helpful Everyone that works there is nothing short of a 5☆ employee They make you feel at home when you’re on the road I very highly recommend this place to anyone that will be staying in the area!

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel Have had to stay here quite a bit during a 5 month job assignment

Trying to find affordable housing in South Florida has been an absolute mess Luckily this hotel has had rooms available at decent rates I’ve stayed in a variety of rooms and each is clean, spacious, and for the love of everything that is CLEANLY the rooms don’t have carpet Only a small area of the room is carpeted The staff is great and always super accommodating I’ve only experienced one WOC who works at the restaurant / bar who isn’t always the friendliest but we pay her no attentionand won’t let her affect the rating of this hotel Definitely my go-to hotel in the West Palm Beach area

Marti Santos

Easy to find, easy to park Good location, clean property Quiet room, very accommodating layout

Airport shuttle available And *VERY* pleasant, gracious, and welcoming clerks at check-in and throughout our stay! Although we didn’t partake, food (breakfast, dinner) was available Certainly a hotel we’ll keep in our contact list for future visits

maria rodriguez

We had excellent attention when we arrived with the check-up, the young man who treated us super, we went as a family, we had two reservations and the rooms were impeccable, super clean and spacious The pool was a bit dirty, the pottery around it and the broken chairs The breakfast was very expensive and they did not serve everything that was requested

Spacious, comfortable unit with wide deck and view of intracoastal Apartment was very clean and check-in, a breeze

especially appreciated during Covid times The location near Palm Beach and across street from Lake Worth pier is a plus Furnishings were a little dated but what was provided was more than adequate There is a charming pool area, propane grill area and even a small dock for watercraft

Rowan Lacy

Staff is rude! Prices are ridiculous They offer minimal to no activitiesHotel prices are high, rooms are old, no locks on bathroom doors, and they don’t allow roll away cots because of “room size

” Isn’t that the customers choice if they want to give up a little space for a better nights sleepWouldn’t recommend and won’t be backIf you are looking for a luxury resort Beaches Turks and Caicos 5 stars! Worth every penny – and you won’t meet anyone that doesn’t smile

jill cicero

I loved staying in a place situated on a jetty where we could see water from each window and sliding glass door In fact, because we stayed on the second floor, I kept the blinds open overnight so the first thing I saw when I woke up was the gorgeous morning sky over the soundWe really enjoyed the pool and fishing dock, and the fishing on the small beaches astride the beach club

The only things that would have made the stay even better was had there been beach access across the road, and some cosmetic improvements inside our condo

This place was super clean with an eclectic retro vibe The staff was friendly and helpful and the place just had character! The courtyard has life size chess, a circular swimming pool, a zen garden, and shuffle board The rooms haven’t been renovated so they are pretty basic but really clean

And, I was told they will actually be renovating the rooms this Summer (2022)I highly recommend it It’s more affordable and it’s a cool throw back to a prior time in history I’m glad to see they kept the place so nice Also, it is walking distance from multiple restaurants and bars and the mall too I thinkThe hotel is cool Nothing fancy, but specialAlso, I liked their mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion! Smelled nice!

Karly Worth

Ron at the front desk was absolutely amazing He went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable since I wasn’t feeling well He was such a nice friendly person to walk in and be greeted by! The landscaping is beautiful by the pool, feels like a little oasis

Over all, positive experience and stay here The outlets across the street is a great addition! Definitely recommend and will be back!

Right near the airport Very friendly staffThe hotel is a few buildings around a pool in the center

Called several motels in the Boynton/Lake Worth area in mid July 2020 and was quoted a very reasonable weekly rate here for my friend and myself ($400 weekly plus a refundable $40 cash deposit) First room had a very outdated A/C unit with a musty smell that clogged our noses Dead roach also found in bathroom

In order to temporarily subdue the situation, opened the small window directly above the unit Cleaning lady comes in, does not speak a word of English and has a conniption that the tiny screened window was open with the A/C on so I apologized and closed the window Everything was a huge imposition to her, including simply grabbing a comforter for our bed after requesting one as rooms are so small and confined that it easily gets cold in them, yet you need to beg for a comforter Switched rooms the following day to the non smoking section at noontime due to the dust in A/C unit vents and inability to breathe in the first room 5 minutes after we put our stuff in the new room, we noticed that the bathroom floor was completely saturated with water, with water on the verge of coming out of the bathroom itself to destroy our personal items We figured it must be some kind of toilet leak in that particular room I started to grab all our items that had the potential for water damage and relocate them to other side of room while my friend threw down the only 2 towels they supply on the bathroom floor to at least soak up some of the waterthe only logical thing to do, right? immediately flagged down the owners and told them of the dire situation and inquired if it was just that room or if all the rooms were experiencing a leak Rudely got told that all the rooms had the same problem and that we were welcome to check out and into a different hotel with a partial refund if we wished to do so Same housekeeper with attitude as mentioned before comes in and has yet another conniption that we put the two towels on the floor to subdue this huge leak “For body only, not for floor!”, she screamed at us twice It was such an inconvenience for her to simply give us two new towels The next morning after showering, came to the realization that both towels she gave us were absolutely filthy and had stuck on bits and pieces of somethingGod only knows what I was forced to use the less dirty of the two towels (it was a toss-up) to dry myself after showering After getting fully dressed, I folded up the towels and just happened to see this ever-so-pleasant cleaning lady walk by the room so I flagged her down just wanting to EXCHANGE the dirty towels for 2 clean towels She got loud with me and insisted that it wasn’t her job to give anybody “extra” towels Both of the owners come out of left field immediately after and tell me that they will refund my card (Yet charged me $160 for 2 nights instead of the agreed upon $114) and insisted for us to go elsewhere I think some of this may have been a language barrier since none of them speak English fluently, but 90% on bad business, poor attitude, and unprofessionalism at its finest STAY AWAY FROM HERE Would give it 0 stars if possible

Extremely nice place Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover although I really liked the outside landscaping, I was told they will be doing some outside/building remodeling🙂Extremely friendly staff

I called to check availability and I realized after getting there the office was closing when I called, however Ben seemed to of gotten up out of his sleep to meet me there to accommodate me getting a room for the night The room had ALL accommodations needed for a vacation/home away from home I will definitely stay here every time I’m in Florida which is quite often 🙂 oh and I slept so well didn’t even notice the train throughout the night This place gets a 10/10

I made my reservations online on this motel’s website based on all the great reviews and was hoping that I could leave a good review but unfortunately that’s not the case When I arrived, I had the same issue as another person who posted a review on here My reservation was not found even though I received a conformation number and instructions on how to check in

I was told that the room was not even available but that I would receive an upgrade for the same price Well I ended up being charged $10 more per night This was room 13 There is a hole in the bathroom stuffed with toilet paper There was no warm water in the shower and the showerhead seemed like it was about to fall off and I couldn’t lift it up past my shoulder height so it was really uncomfortable to wash my hair The bathroom sink was draining slowly In the kitchen sink, there was an empty sugar packet from a previous guest There were spit marks on the mirror above the desk and one morning I saw a roach coming from behind the fridge The one star is for the bearded gentleman who went above and beyond to make this stay as comfortable as possible I did not have a chance to discuss this during my stay because I was there for training and would only be at the motel late at night I received an invoice via email and I tried to reply to that email to discuss these issues and being overcharged but it turns out that it was a no reply email address

Warren Smith

The person I check in with (Corey, a bearded man with light-med tattooing) was a consummate professional who made the process stress free and has continuously gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and great as possible! There is beautiful outdoor decorations and plenty of places to grill and chill! They provide free coffee, cookies, and fresh fruit If you need a place to stay in Lantana and don’t want to be overcharged and undervalued stay at The Barefoot Mailman Motel There are cute little lizards, beautiful flowers and outdoor decorations, and the manager is available everyday at 9am and will actually work VERY hard to make it a great environment

He and Corey don’t just work here they work FOR you Trespassing is not tolerated Rampant partying and risky behavior is not tolerated They strive to keep you safe and feeling comfortable The night man Corey makes himself available until 2am in the morning and sometimes even later!! The location is right next to a beautiful island with a stunning free beach, off the dock fishing, a cute park, and a stunning nature preserve Thank you Barefoot and thank you Corey!!!! We were sad to leave!

The overall outside appearance was nice, but our room had stains on the carpet in several places, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off & the bed was not that comfortable It was good for a one night stay not for a longer stay It was $300

00 a night & we thought a Marriot would be a lot better than what we would expect from a Motel 6

The White Horse Motel is a jewel of a find for us If you are sensitive to the cleaning agents that most motels or hotels use then they have it solved with all natural cleaning products for your total experience at the motel 100% attention to any of your needs and the owners are on site to ensure a comfortable quiet stay in Lake Worth

We enjoyed our first and second stay there and they are now our default location for any trip to Palm Beach County Pricing is cheap for the location where you can see the inner coastal waterway from the parking lot They are literally just blocks from the water and a short drive to Lake Worth Beach Park to enjoy the full ocean Thank you White Horse Motel for another fantastic experience while we were in Lake Worth Five Stars for your great gem of a motel for your guests to enjoy!

Josee Poirier

we stayed at the motel (room 104) 7 days from March 8 to 15 , the room was spacious with everything you need! kitchenette with a dining area, 2 comfortable chairs to relax or watch tv, comfortable bed, it’s super super clean, smell fresh, no carpet yeahhhh! everything worked well! great location, close to shopping center, restaurants, John Prince Park and only 10 minutes from Lake Worth public beach which is WoW We did not have the chance to speak often to the owners but every time we did, they were friendly and pleasant We recommend for sure White Horse motel and we would return with pleasure! First time at a Hawthorn Suites and overall really liked it It was very nicely decorated, spacious and most importantly, clean (one exception, see below)The suite was a pleasant surprise, with full sized fridge, 2 burner range, microwave and dishwasher

There were enough dishes, cups, utensils and the like for 4 It was all really convenient The beds were decently comfortable and the bathroom was spacious The only issue for me was the shower head, which needed a good scrub (easy enough to remedy) We stayed 1 night only so I didn’t notice until late evening (and by then, I was already getting in the shower) Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to return but I would check the shower head before getting undressed!Staff was all very nice Breakfast was fine Nothing extravagant but I appreciated the effort and the personal touches

Bob Hills

We had a 5 night stay Sunday through Friday Very quiet, could hardly tell that anybody else was around The morning buffet breakfast was good

Just average food Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and cereals Nothing special The only 2 complaints we would have would be Television reception was very poor Low quality They had a list of channels on a printed out card in the room however it did not match the cable service provided 2nd would be the pool Very little shade provided Some umbrellas surrounding the edge of the fence But somewhere broken In the heat of the day it was almost impossible to stay by the pool Location was great Centrally located you could easily walk if you wanted to local necessities Overall our state was very good and we would recommend staying there

Shantel Broadnax

I didn’t even know this location existed But when you walk in, the environment is so friendly and welcoming There was always a pleasant smell in the building, elevators, and even the restroom

The staff at the continental breakfast were amazing as well I definitely plan to stay here when I am in town This time I was just dropping my family off and was with them for the weekend

I’ve been to this hotel several times since 2019 I am a diamond club member The kitchen staff prior to the pandemic was exemplary, the cleaning staff was great, the rooms were clean and Patrice was always welcoming, friendly and helpful

The last 3 times I stayed here I encountered snide remark’s from the waitress at breakfast Witnessed an full trash can by the elevator that was not emptied for several hours, food trays lingering in the hall and a dirty room After one night we decided to go to the Marriott That proved to be a great decision! If you all rehire Patrice and retrain the current manager and please let me know Your location is perfect for our travels but I won’t pay for dirt and disrespect

Onel V. G.

It was a wonderful hotel, really comfortable and clean Centrally locatedBut I can’t be completely satisfied with the service because when I ask about a late check out they completely smack me with a hard stop, the lady at the front desk on 6/29/2022 clearly reaffirmed it was imposible , if I wanted to stay after 12 I have to pay another full day ( not negotiable)It probably was my mistake staying at Hilton, that will never happened if i were booked with Marriott or Hyatt

Nina

We arrived at the hotel in the evening the reception lady was rude she didn’t even greet us She just hid behind the computer and avoided eye contact

We stood in front of the counter for a while After some time, she asked if we wanted to check into the hotel Next she told us that our reservation has been canceled and that the hotel is full We had not received any information that our reservation had been cancelled however, we got a room in the end The room was otherwise ok, but the toilet was a bit dirty When we checked out another reception lady was very nice and polite

We stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time! The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet Every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful, they all went above and beyond! The spa was lovely, we had a much needed couples massage that was a highlight of our stay We also really enjoyed the beach club, the facilities were clean and nice, the beach itself was great, and the pool was the perfect place to relax after some time on the beach

At first, I was concerned about the fact that the main hotel was not on the beach, but it was actually very convenient to walk or shuttle to all the bars and restaurants on Atlantic Ave Also, the shuttle to the beach club was very quick, convenient and the drivers were great! My only regret is that we didn’t get a balcony room, it would have been nice to sit and have coffee in the morning

Quiet place to stay Only complaint was that the dishwasher in our room didn’t drain the water and smelled bad We notified the front desk and left the property for the day

When we came back we checked and the dishwasher had no standing water so we thought ” great, they fixed it ” Nope Maintenance must have wet vac the water out and sprayed it so the smell was not as strong We ran a test run on the dishwasher and when it was done it was full of water again We ended up washing the dishes by hand all week

Kimberly S

BG seems to be neglecting this location The hot tub has yet to work and we are on our 2nd day here Keep hearing maintenance is working on it with no information from front desk

The flush handle on the toilet is broken It’s been glued to repair it Just buy a new one already The wall above the bed has hooks but no pictures? The TP holder is all rusty from toilet water splashing on it I suppose No drain stopper The A/C filter needs replacing as it smells musty The gate to the back of the property does not lock so no security there for night time I’m dissatisfied as as an owner all properties should be the same with upkeep This reminds me of an old beach place owned my a mom and pop that has let it go

This place was amazing! Words cannot express how thoroughly pleased I was I am very familiar with the area and have passed by this place while driving countless times- it’s definitely a hidden gem It’s cozy, comfortable, very peaceful, and the rooms are beautiful

I felt right at home The beds were clean and fresh, the garden is lovely and so are the colors / themes of everything The bathroom was so spacious and nice and I just loved everything The decor, the natural windows, appliances, it’s like you’re at a home away from home The windows were easy to open and close and could be adjusted to your comfort The TV was really nice as well and so was the fridge and coffee maker Spacious closet Great lightning It was perfect for the price and very refreshing I didn’t want to leave 🙂Also the young lady (I forgot her name but she has long black/ brown hair) was phenomenal She was very accommodating to myself/ guest and made me feel very comfortable, she was friendly and just really kind even with explaining everything and showing me to my room 10/10 for me ⭐

I stayed here for one night and LOVED it I will definitely be back The room is nicely decorated with a beach theme, sort of a Key West or old school South Florida feel

Very spacious It has a cute little courtyard And the contactless check in is so convenient Really reasonably priced, as well And just minutes from the downtown area

I have serious health concerns about this place The ceiling paint was cracked and peeling, the towel rack was hanging by a thread, the walls have I don’t know what splattered on them and it’s just not clean The bed moves all over the place and the sheets and comforter really don’t fit the bed

They don’t have washcloths and the soap is literally the tiniest thing I’ve seenThe walkways are very narrow and the door is nearly impossible to lock We spent 2-4 minutes each time we left trying to lock the door lock that was so loose it could fall offThe only redeeming factor is, sorry there’s no redeeming factorSpend the extra $50 to stay at a hotel

It was our second home for weeks

months The staff was so friendly and helpful They were considerate of me working during the day I would ask for specific cleaning times or just a freshening of the rooms and they would accommodate The beds and pillows were so soft and comfortable There was noise from other floors but it’s not their fault The pool was a great temperature and a nice place to chat with fellow guests

I really enjoyed staying here The staff was outstanding I was not going to be able to get there until after 5:00 p

m and the office manager was going to be gone by that time However, she put the key in the box for me so that I could stay in my reserved suite The apartment suites were kept very clean and has everything that you could possibly need Very quiet and relaxing I recommend this place to everyone I definitely give them five stars all the way and always will!!!

I secured this listing through AirBnB That’s how I usually find places that are not hotel stays I was there from January 17 through January 21, 2022

My room was 207 The check-in process was easy They have a beautiful water view both front and back They also have a full kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc Two tablesone in the kitchen and another in the dining area The bed is king size and the bathroom has two entrance/exit ways Free wifiif you are on the 2nd floor (like I was)a nice balcony with 2 lounge chairs and 2 upright chairs Nice size pool with plenty of places to sit and lounge around Also they have 2 bbq grills Free laundry area too although you have to take turns washing your clothes Free parking although if you want to get close to your unit you’d better get there before nightfall because spaces fill up quick! As I said in my AirBnB postthe only issue I had with the place was the sliding doors were a little stiff to move Also the metal bar attached to the window frame is loose so you have to be careful and hold on to it when you pull on the strings to pull back the blinds Very peaceful and quite and walking or driving distance to the beach! Will stay there again!!!!

I would give it 3 stars, but I am giving it 4 stars because I liked the location a lot and would stay there again just for that Technically in Palm Beach, this place is basically in Fort Worth and is in very close walking distance (literally right across the street) from the beach and a pretty good beach restaurant called Benny’s It’s a full apartment style place with a kitchen and living room so would be great for a longer stay

However there were some issues We were given the wrong code for the lock box and struggled to get it open, eventually giving up when another guest told us that we could just use the door code to get into our room without opening the box for the paperwork The place was like stepping through time into the 1990s but felt fairly clean At 5:30 in the morning, a broken sprinkler was aimed directly at our window, which was very annoying I did mention the problem so hopefully it’s fixed Then, we went out and came home late at night to discover a large roach in our living room, on the ceiling We tried to get it but it fell and hid under the couch When we went to checkout the next day I mentioned there was a roach in the room, thinking that they might be able to get it out before the next guest arrived However, instead I was told falsely that it was not a roach but a palmetto bug (yes the roaches in this area are palmetto bugs, but it’s still a type of roach) and that “there’s nothing you can do about them in Florida” I am a native Floridian who lives in Florida, so I can tell you that’s 100% not true While you can’t always keep them out, you can most definitely make an effort, and at the very least you can try to remove them from a room when someone has told you there is already one inside
