I absolutely love this little motel came to LA for a weekend visit and these accommodations were just what we needed We had to extend our stay an extra day and the staff was very accommodating and were able to do so

Nice rooms, clean beds great location and love that its only a few rooms so parking was no issue Will definitely re visit on our next trip

Melissa Lucas

Awful experience There are smoking rooms and non smoking rooms Was given a smoking room

The smell, the touch, and the look was disgusting You truly do get what you paid for – $65 The only bright side was free parking but the moment I walked in the room I wanted to leave immediately The staff was nice but the room made it a terrible experience

One of my top 5 favorite motels! And it’s nestled in my hometown of eagle rock , the room we usually prefer is the smoking room All of their rooms are clean and neat the smoking room never has that left over cigarette smoke smell overall I love ❤️staying at the rose bowl for 3 reasons#1 it’s very budget friendly#2 very very quiet!🤫 (Which personally I enjoy a lot!)#3 the owners are very polite and easy going ( just as long you Don’t give them any problems) 😉

I love this Travelodge! It’s in the perfect location right on PCH! Not far from anything! Walking distance to a bunch of fast food restaurants and shopping centers! The rooms are big, comfy & cute! The price is reasonable considering the price for everything now a days! Friendly staff! There’s a washer and dryer on site too! The one thing I don’t like is that they have a NO PETS ALLOWED policy! But there’s no deposit when you check in so that’s a plus! Small parking lot! Overall I give this hotel a 4 star rating!

We spent one night at this hotelPros – very friendly staff; great location for what we needed to be on the next morning Sizable bedroom, and the shower had a good water pressure

Cons – we requested a non-smoking room, which is I believe next to a smoking room I had to hold my breath when passing that room Pretty noisy from the vehicles passing by at night

Tiffany Francis

First thing their official site lists is “24 hour reception desk” and it couldn’t more wrong This hotel is not for you if you’re a relatively light sleeper You hear the main road all night and anyone outside

One night someone had locked their little dog in a room and barked ALL NIGHT I tried calling the front desk about 3am and several more times until a little 4:30am to see if they could call the room or the occupant to solve the problem They never answered They also weren’t around at 6am for me to check out to make my flight The guy at the front was friendly, but when you really needed assistance, it wasn’t there at “24 hrs” like the wyndham official statesI heard several other occupants go outside the night of the dog barking to investigate It was the worst night sleep everRooms were ok, pillows were lumpy and small square shape Bathroom is huge compared the over all room Floors were DIRTY My feet were covered in black grime following a shower Sink was missing a plug so anything could have fallen down in the holeLocation on the other hand, is decent Along Pacific Coast highway and lots of eateries and shops up the road

This was our host hotel for our motorcycle club national annual event and they were more than accommodating and the rooms were clean, spacious and on point Only complaint was the fact that there were no microwaves, those came at a $5 a day extra cost, but we survived just fine and they were more than understanding of all the bikes in and out day and night Good central location with plenty close by in walking and driving distance and a 24/7 Dennys right there in the parking lot as well

Plus we were only about 20 minutes from Santa Monica Pier, so that was amazing Very pleased with our weekend stay, checked in Thursday with ease and out Sunday with the same to smiling, helpful staff

BEWARE—— BED BUGS!!!!! 0 stars if I could!! Stayed here from out of town for a last minute family event The hotel has a bad crowd hanging around & homeless The areas aren’t clean, trash everywhere- but that’s not even the worst part

THEY HAVE BED BUGS! BEWARE!!!! I’ve never dealt with this anywhere else in my life, and that says a lot because I’m from Vegas! I had no clue what this was I took her to the ER Had to foot a bill, and medication for her! We books through a 3rd party website so the manager Anthony wasn’t much help, other then saying ” I need to investigate this ” – I will say as soon as we refunded form the hospital I demanded a new room & that they did However I’ll say when I said they had bed bugs they looked *unsurprised* and switched the room However that room also had bugs! I would have switched hotels but I already spent over $50000 at this one and didn’t have the time to do that due do time restrictions I kindly asked for a refund for every night expect the first We will see how that goes!!

I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!! DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING/LISTING COSTS ME MONEY, TIME, AND SUFFERING! THE FRONT DESK CLERK CONTRADICTED HIMSELF THE FRONT DESK CLERK DOES NOT CARE, IS COMBATIVE, AND IS RUDE IT WAS A TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE

My boyfriend booked a room for us to celebrate valentine’s day early This is because we are long distance and I work on that day He accidentally booked this hotel My Dad provides wheels because I don’t drive, and he doesn’t have a car The front desk clerk asked for a license plate and my boyfriend asked if he needed our license plate My boyfriend told the front desk clerk he would have us over for a few hours The front desk clerk said he didn’t have a problem with it But then when we got to the hotel room, he called the phone THREATENING TO KICK BOTH US AND MY BOYFRIEND OUT HE SAID HE WOULD KICK US ALL OUT IF WE DID NOT LEAVE IN FIVE MINUTES HE CITED A HOTEL POLICY OF NO VISITORS/GUESTS! THIS WASN’T DISCLOSED UNTIL WE APPROACHED THE HOTEL ROOM! HE DID NOT LET MY BOYFRIEND KNOW OF THIS UPON CHECK-IN IT IS NOT DISCLOSED ON THE WEBSITE EITHER He gaslit my boyfriend when confronted The confrontation was heated, and the front desk clerk was escalating it Luckily, the front desk clerk offered a refund which my boyfriend did receive We stayed in a different hotel, but the traumatizing experience left us shook up the whole night We are now having to book a different hotel this weekend to spend some quality, enjoyable time together DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL YOUR BUSINESS!

A short drive from LAX on the Pacific Coast Highway and free parking make this hotel perfect for those arriving in Southern California later in the evening The rooms are simple, but clean Walking distance to the ocean

The Boy and the Bear Coffee Shop is a fantastic coffee roaster nearby if you want to drive and grab a quick coffee for your walk The attached Thai restaurant is so good, especially the BBQ Chicken Only drawback is some road noise A wonderful find!

A

We got the Deluxe King Room The room is small, but it worked out well for the two of us The bedding was clean & very comfortable

As for the location, it was perfect Walking distance to Redondo Beach and about 25 minutes to LAX The free parking was a plus and it was hassle free! We brought along two cars Though, they do only offer one free parking space per room, there is free parking on the side of the road Great place to stay when on a budget!

As good as you can expect for the price you pay, this is a motel after all I’d give it 35 stars

What’s great was the helpful night staff/ receptionist What’s not great is that they charge $20 for parking and there’s barely any parking at the motel so that could be an inconvenience The room is pretty standard for a motel, but it’s great that the snacks and Fiji water are free!

Alexsis M (MadjinxxChexs)

I try to always base my ratings on 4 things out of 5 starsLocation:A very nice spot 🤔

I little bit of noise but not to bad However , Parking was very bad Their parking lot was almost always full Sometimes we had to park in the street and feed the meter 1 star of 5 in this areaCustomer service:4/ 5 stars !! 🤗🤗 the motel cleaning staff are amazing ! They are very helpful However the front desk is hard to get a hold of We had a hard time getting someone at the front desk check in Made like 3 trips to check if anyone was there because no one answered the phoneQuality:The rooms where decent good place for someone on a budget or a 2 night stayOver all Experience:3 1/2 stars out of 5 We had a good time The area had 2 very close walking distance food places of which I shall be rating as well Have a look in my reviews for the places 😊

itay bracha

Sincerely the room was fine, the bathroom was barely usableThe one MAJOR problem I had with this hotel is that there was no house keeping due to COVID (even though it’s been a while and 99% of motels have room service), which made our stay pretty uncomfortable, we had to ask for new towels, we had to return to a kinda messy room everydayAlso the motel didn’t allow to leave our luggage’s at the front desk before and after checkout, also with the excuse of “COVID”

The stay was not expansive but I wouldn’t recommend staying here, couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being robbed

We arrived a little late to check in and only needed to stay one night for a work training and the staff was super attentive and friendlyCommunication was amazing about parking and I really loved that the gates are closed, with keys to get in and out as we needThe room was spotless and cute

Everything is clean, friendly staff Coffee in the morning and overall a wonderful stay!I will be recommending this location and we will be sure to reserve rooms here, next time we are in the area It’s a short distance to Long Beach and even walking distance there are a few restaurants and convenience stores

Amy

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved it It felt like our lil apartment The owners opened the gate for us for the parking when we got in at 3am, which we were so grateful for

John was also amazing and provided excellent customer service by shipping my boyfriend’s phone charger we left behind to Vegas He went out of his way to text me the confirmation # We will definitely stay here at this beautiful hotel again Great customer service experience and clean room I would definitely reccomend this place to everyone I also loved the different color doors Thank you so much!

Very good inn for the price The rooms are small but are kept really clean They close the parking gate at 10PM so you can’t park inside if you come after that, there’s plenty of parking out on the street

The location is really good as well, you’re about a 10 minute drive from downtown Long Beach and about a 15 minute drive to Ports O’ Call

I only stayed for 10 hours (Omaha->LA->Omaha business quicky), but I enjoyed every minute of my stay My room was clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable Thai delivery was nearby and available at 1:30 AM, as were breakfast pastries

You get a breakfast “swag bag” in the morning which has a decent burrito with a few sides thrown in I didn’t have time to swim, but the pool looked great Will definitely return, hopefully for a longer stay

Player Panda

The lady at the front desk was not nice when we checked out But when we were checking in the guy there was very nice The lady who was cleaning was also nice

It is a non smoking hotel, but we woke up to a strong smell of weed I like the parking garage, it was weird but it made me feel safe It was ok, probably the safest hotel It was also the cheapest in the area If you don’t mind maybe smelling some weed I recommend

It’s an older motel so some things are to be expected like the thin walls and small bathrooms The heater didn’t work in our room In one bed you could feel the springs in the mattress

The other bed the mattress was very hard The fan had a ton of dust on it although it was cold so we didn’t need it lol But the staff was awesome, the soap was awesome and we received a breakfast in a paper back So 35☆ Oh and it’s about 13 miles from the peir

Very disappointed Most employees (not all) were friendly and the location was great (close to Hollywood blvd)Everything else was lackluster

We came into the room and it was dirty We asked them if they could clean it for us Answer: we only clean every other day So we waited and after they supposedly cleaned the room I could still get my finger dusty from wiping any surface People say this hotel is good for the price, but there really is no excuses for how dirty this wasAlso, some people came in at night and were very loud in the hallway, so loud that we repeatedly woke up This went on for well over 20 minutes and none of the employees talked to them or asked them to be quit This was close to the front desk as well

Tina Bina

The location was a good location for what we were there to do Overall the inside of the room was nice, the only thing that stopped me from giving a 3 rating was the bathroom floors and tub were dirty and there was a bad smell in our room Also, the staff wasn’t rude but they weren’t really friendly either

Otherwise the hotel was very quiet except for the outside traffic, but we can’t really control that

Scott LaRoche

Small but clean hotel Felt safe but you do NOT want to walk those few blocks south to Hollywood Boulevard Otherwise the location is fantastic – we got to Universal Studios in 9 minutes

Only beef is that the wifi did not work on our end of the building You get a good signal near the front check in desk, but in the rooms at the other end, nothing If wifi is important keep this in mind

The hotel was great for the price It was a cozy and clean room, and it seems secure Water in the shower heats up nice and fast

Bed was comfy Bring your own towels because theirs are fairly small And you also need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryer The area seems a little sketchy but the hotel is very safe I definitely recommend the parlor motel It was a nice stay and at a great price

Joe Hiskes

A nice motel in a not so nice neighborhood While, the outside not impress terribly, the rooms are very clean and well maintained The staff are super friendly and helpful as well

Parking lot is nice and gives some sense of security that the surroundings lack Despite being a motel, its actually better than many LA hotels Ive stayed at

Maria Cerv

I had to get a motel quick because I had a family emergency and needed to visit for a funeral , i was suppose to stay there for 3 days Unfortunately, my son had caught a fever So I had to cut it short

They don’t do refunds which is understandable I’m not going to lie the area is quite sketchy The parking is perfect you can see your car so I wasn’t to worried It’s your ordinary motel The bathroom is a nice upgrade The thing that makes this place a gem is the people that own the motel are sweethearts They really do try their best to make this motel safe and comfortable The only thing that made me knock down a star is that the carpet in my room was dirty and made my son’s and I feet dirty We wore our shoes which is kind of gross Overall okay stay

She to the high ratings of this place we booked a room We were in Los Angeles for medical care at Cedars Sinai The location of the hotelIs very adequate

There is a restaurant right next door it’s not very good but it gets the breakfast job done The rooms were spacious and clean and modern The air conditioner was not working in the room as the day we arrived was very hot above 90 degrees but the front staff brought us a box fan Beautiful area and beautiful landscaping the front staff is always super nice

Darcie S

Cockroach in our room Overall pretty tired and not cared for but cheap for LA and cost reflects that “Sprung” for Romantic Suite which was nothing but – very weird room, neon lights on windows all night and the room vibrated plus the round bed didn’t have proper sheets so mattress was half out and pretty dirty

Do not recommend On a positive note – it was a Great location, nice enough staff, free parking was a plus and the courtyard pool area was chill Wouldn’t stay again on account of cleanliness (again, cockroach)

Melvin Fernandes

I get very very annoyed when I do not get what I had booked! Supposed to get a deluxe room but instead was compromised for a base room with double bed and window ac which doesn’t work properly On asking for my compromised compensation, $15 is what I got My first ever visit to LA and my first hotel in LAElevator smells badRooms were clean but I do not know why I sneezed so muchYou’ll love the swimming pool though

I wouldn’t be excited to come here againI will choose this hotel only when I do not have any convenient offers or deals elsewhere

What a wonderful place and owners Very clean and great ambiance- colorful, safe, airy and pet friendly and they even leave you fresh fruits and drinks in the fridge complimentary!! As I’m from the islands, this place gave that feel as the owners are Brazilian and have a tasty and authentic Brazilian Cafe connected to the motel They even have patio chairs and tables outside the room and colorful decor! I had some trouble booking my room as I’m from out of state and my bank flagged the transaction as fraud

The owners (husband and wife) were so kind to communicate via text and call to notify me and still allowed me to stay paying cash Close to Venice Beach and necessity shopping Overall I have no complaints Truly a place I’d stay at again Because of them I had a place for myself and my dog in such a horrible ordeal Thank you! Wish them the best of health and business Good mom and pop place!

This place is awesome! Excellent location, super clean, and very original Unique spot that’s not some cookie-cutter hotel You feel like you’re transported to another place, you truly feel Brazil vibes with all the unique touches

Highly recommend, and the folks at the desk are awesome I can’t find a single thing to complain about This is our LA spot every time! Amazing 🤩

We come here everytime we are in LA The motel is lovely: the rooms are neat and well equipped, and there is no carpet (big plus) The courtyard is colorful and relaxing, perfect for having breakfast outside on cute and all diverse tables

Great food is available for lunch & dinner at the Cafe on the other side of the motel Plus, the position is super convenient and the owners are great hosts!

There is a $20 fee to park inside which no one in the reviews I read mentioned The elevator does look a little old as well as the hallways but the room was very spacious and bed was comfortable Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in

AC works great, there’s a fridge that was a little dirty which I didn’t use so it didn’t matter to me Room also had an iron & ironing board, & a microwave! Area was nice and quiet Definitely enjoyed the stay here & would stay again if needed

Briana Flanagan

The stay itself was great and hotel was very clean and nice for the price Really enjoyed the free beverages in the lobby I wanted to give this 5 stars but my complaint is on their flexibility with cancellation/efficiency with changing a stay

The airline delayed my flight by 18 hours so I was unable to make it here for the first night of my stay I contacted the booking agency I booked the hotel through to let the hotel know I would still be staying there, but wouldn’t be showing up until the next day The booking agency reached a receptionist at the hotel but the receptionist stated that they couldn’t make any changes without the manager who wouldn’t be in for another few hours and they would have to mark me as a “no show” for the time being Essentially my reservation was cancelled even though I told them I was still showing up So then I had to fly to California from NY for 55 hours not knowing if my hotel would still be available when I arrived I called them as soon as I landed and was told again “only the manager can make the changes, but I’ll leave a note She’s on lunch now” I finally arrived at the hotel and found my rooms still available for me, but they then stated they were required to charge me a $130 cancellation fee for a “no show” even though I showed up and notified them ahead of time of my flight issues They’re refusing to cancel the charge on my credit card for the “no show” so now I’m trying to dispute it Ideally this would be something I’d like the airline to pay for along with my excessive Ubers needed during that delay, but everyone knows that’s impossible I was really hoping this hotel could be as flexible as others I’d stayed in I would have no problem with this at a Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc

Mylissa Hopkins

This “lodge” wants to be a 5 star super high end hotel and the details show it The rooms are impeccably clean and well designed The desk is very friendly

I needed a place to stay close to the rose bowl and I didn’t have high expectations except they already had good reviews I was impressed with the pride of ownership this place has
