Very friendly staff and great and easy check in and out process Room was decent for the price Pillows weren’t the most comfortable and they could have provided more shower supply

Location isn’t the best as it isn’t close to any major points in the city

DW

Merky, at the front desk, was great in helping usThe bedding and towels were clean and freshThe pillows were a little hard and the carpet had some large ink stains in it

Breakfast was presented well, and was a ‘typical’ hotel breakfastAll and all, we had a nice stay

For this place being roughly 20-25 years old, it’s always nice and a great place to stay with ok services to match it’s average priceMy family use to live within 5 miles of this hotel 2 times for a total of 22 years and we or I have stayed plenty of times with good outcomes pretty much every single stayI would definitely go back to stay here more

Jeff Vande

The wireless router in the hotel is spotty at best It will randomly cut out and the entire network will disappear from the network list for extended periods of time Front desk claims to have received other complaints about this issue

First room I got had a toilet that didn’t work on the first 5 flushes Was told to “keep trying” to flush it Ended up taking a new room Be careful with this hotel

We are staying here now and in the beginning the rooms are nice, bed was comfortable and the pool was good BUT if you are the last room on the second floor by the pool don’t expect to sleep It sounds like a heard of elephants non stop I mean non stop! I don’t know if the stairs are directly above it but it’s ridiculous

I don’t see any sleep in my future We have two young kids and it was so hard to get them asleep We have our sound machine blasting and still doesn’t even come close to covering it up If we didn’t have the kids we would have left (it’s that bad) Also the thermostat in the room doesn’t work at all and it’s pretty hot We never get away and I’m disappointed in the experience

Melisa

Conveniently located Clean rooms, clean hotel in general Breakfast was our favorite though

My 3 year old has never had so many options at hand to choose from so she was in heaven Also she wanted me to add “clean floors” to my review The staff was also super friendly So between myself & my toddler, we approve 😊The only con we had was that there were a bunch of drunk guys outside of our window last night We stayed here on a Wednesday night Not the hotels fault at all though

Rik Blak

Comfortable 3 rating for the room was for the heating/cooling unit Was not responsive and even though it wasn’t excessively warm it took hours to cool the room enough to get to sleep

Overall an ok place to stay It’s on me for not requesting a new room

Tim Hagstrom

Yes, we can recommend this motel Prices have gone up for hotels/motels, so we were trying to find a fresh and clean place to stay in the Twin Cities location that was handy for our visit This La Quinta Inn worked out perfectly for that

The price was much less than the more centrally located Mpls lodgings, and parking was free There is no pool, but we never use that feature anyways Breakfast is included in the price and was good Room was clean Lobby was dated, but clean Fresh paint on outside of building and interior hallways , lobby and breakfast dining area are kept clean Staff were friendly and helpful A safe, comfortable and pleasant stay

Denise Johnson

The key cards didn’t work, due to a malfunction in the lock, so we were locked out of our room until the next morning We were given another room, but were not able to access our belongings There were bugs in the room, breakfast options were slim

Beds were comfortable, hotel is older, needs some work Staff was nice enough, I have not received a refund for the room we were locked out of, as I was promised I wouldn’tchoose to stay here again

Jamia Naomi

I had to edit my review because I had TWO wasps in my room ! They’re infested with other bugs as wells so they didn’t take my call serious! I have a 2 year old with me That was an incredibly dangerous situation!! Some of the staff members need to work on their attitudeother than that the cleaning crew is great

Their supervisor could use some work The breakfast is great! As long as you avoid the staff and bugs you’ll be fine

The rooms are just so beautifully done, bar tender is great and can make any cocktail you requestBut two nights when I couldn’t sleep, Bri was at the front desk at 1am both times to ring me up for a late night snackHer energy is beautiful and infectious

Middle of the night and this girl has me smiling and laughing and she just makes you feel like everything is greatHer customer service is something that is rarely found these days This property is an A+ in my book— from the front desk, to the personnel, to the rooms, I can’t wait to come back

Phillip Hagerty

great pool table and shuffle board but the breakfast is minimal and a security person came into my room at 1am unlocked the door and walked in on me The rooms are fine but it’s trying to be ‘trendy’ by giving you more colors but less nice amenitiesUpdate: formerly gave 2 stars but the management reached out and rectified the situation Very pleased with their way of handling the situation

Dave Senter

Fine hotel, nice rooms, comfortable bed, small refrigerator Limited parking available, but it’s pricey Continental breakfast items for sale along with 2-3 hot breakfast plates

Decent bar available at 5 pm, but no restaurant Limited restaurants within walking distance Driving to restaurants or bars in the area is an option, but then there’s the parking problem Metered street parking is available if you can find an open spot Uber is good but prices vary substantially by time of day and demand level from surrounding events Walking distance to the stadium

When we arrived at the hotel around 11:30 pm, we walked through the front doors to check in and were hit by the distinct smell of marijuana When we got into our room and took a shower, we noticed boogers on our shower curtain However, we were impressed with the heating and cooling unit and it worked very well! Overall, a decent place to stay if you don’t mind those minor issues

Phoua Lor

I stayed here for a couple of nights and was not reimbursed the charge on my card until over 2 weeks later when I had to call them about my issue I was promptly refunded the money by the general manager upon calling 17 days after my stay, but it is upsetting that this action had not been taken as soon as I checked out of the hotel – as it should have been

robert robb

Room was clean, reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff Only had 1 problem but I didn’t bring it up to try to remedy it Junior hockey! Their kids hyped up about a game and at a motel with long hallways pools and an elevator or 3

I work over nights usually a 14 hour shift, during the week the place is pretty quiet Friday and Saturday nights during hockey season not so much If you want sleep during the day haha not gonna happen There is signs about kids running in the halls that says don’t do it But they had hockey goals set up in the hallways and running slamming into doors etc Forget about catching the elevator when their staying there Again I didn’t complain to anyone just kinda cranked up my headphones and tried my best to sleep I will be staying many more times though Nice pool area, gameroom, weights, laundry free breakfast Heading there this afternoon, hopefully no hockey

Great service!Excellent guest service from gentleman in the breakfast area I believe his name is George This man was wonderful to our whole family that was in Minneapolis for a wedding

He was super helpful, kind and kept a very clean dining areaFront desk staff were friendly and helped my father by printing out a map Very friendlyMaintenance gentleman was super helpful and made sure we were perfectly set up in conference room Didn’t want us to have to worry about anythingRooms were clean and I slept like a baby!Manager was easy to work with while helping coordinate the rooms and paid attention to our needs! All the way around a great experience!

Stephanie Niccum

The hotel looks very nice Aside from a few housekeeping issues such as a dirty shower floor the rooms were ok Our pull out had no sheets, pillows, blankets

We had to ask for them and all we received was a blanket that was just placed on the front desk for us yo have to pick up The first night was one of the worst nights sleep I have ever had There was a group partying next door to us Loud music, yelling, slamming doors, etc We called the front desk and they “warned” them I called a 2nd time and the front desk wouldn’t answer when I called on the room phone so I called with my cell phone They “warned” them again alas this party was not going to stop and they were still at it at 2:30 am When I asked the front desk about it in the morning I was met with contention My suggestion if you have an issue with noise complaints don’t even bother with the front desk just call the cops The workers here are useless The breakfast wad also less than to be desired They have toasters with cream cheese and butter but only offered pre wrapped muffins What a joke

Alison Tisdell

The service was extremely poor The staff was not knowledgeable about any questions we had We had reserved a double queen room and were put in a single king room

This does not work when we have children with us The light socket in our room had prongs from a cord stuck in it The doors didn’t close all the way They held over $1100 on my card while we were there When we asked for clean towels for our room they were left sitting on the dirty hallway floor instead of put in our room I will never be staying at this hotel again

Modern hotel near train stop, handy Rooms were very nice with no ambient light leaking and glowing everywhere Big window and super comfortable beds with a good A/C unit as well

Rooms very quiet too Only downside no drawers for clothes, just closet and two shelves Bathroom small and efficient and not sure if all are the same but in mine, if you were someone who brings a lot of stuff to put in the bathroom, you’ll have trouble Restaurant had a very nice breakfast, cooked to order, reasonably priced for a hotel The game room was fantastic! Ping Pong and other things to do – and we used it too! Gym looked nice (great owl murals on wall) but we didn’t get to use it Staff very pleasant all around, and good security Can’t get past main entry door without key so not anyone can hang around lobby

Bruce Buerger

Room decor and functions were a very different experience that what I’ve had at other hotels Lots of electrical outlets but no drawers for clothes No closet either but large functional art piece on the wall to hang items

Everything was comfortable Told the front desk person about something we saw and were surprised by getting offered a drink ticket instead of an offer to move us Bartender was really good Impressed with his infused liquors

Lucian Torres

Nice Hotel, clean areas, the room have a nice size, the bed is comfy, bathroom was clean and with enough space, big LG TV, Fridge, Safe box, big window, and the front desk lady was very kind The only thing they need to do better is for the parking spaces, when I get there, they already doesn’t had parking space, all of them was busy I needed to park in a private parking in the next street, not so bad

Not horrible, but far from good My room was dirty when I checked in, stains all over in the bathroom Hot tub had a black film floating in it

Part of the ceiling was missing in the pool room From the look of it for a long time Staff was nice and the breakfast was better than the average hotel All and all for the cheap price its not bad

Angela Faubion

First room that I was given hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guest left Second room was better but not by much The soap had been placed on a dirty soap dish that wasn’t wiped off

I noticed dirty wet towels behind a door as I was leaving in the morning that didn’t belong to me I told the staff but they didn’t care The pool was green & the chlorine was so strong that you could smell it from the hotel desk When entering the pool room, I had to leave right away because the chlorine burned my eyes I will never stay at this location again! Hotel is GROSS!!

Jason Sethre

Stayed there last night Hotel wreaked of Marijuana everywhere in the building Went down to workout in the exercise room at 5:30 am, no towels

Went to front desk to get towels Lobby had the worst pot smell of anywhere in the building We talked to friends of ours, who also stayed in the hotel that night The pot smell was so strong that all of us could smell it in our rooms throughout the night This hotel has a weed issue We won’t be staying there again

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night because our reception was right next door at MEC We were not impressed… We didn’t have time to check in earlier in the day so when we got there after the reception they said we couldn’t check in because it was so late

We apologized for not being able to check in earlier and basically had to beg them to let us check into our honeymoon suite which we had booked for months They never told us what time check in ended, so how were we supposed to know? Finally they decided to let us check into our room But overall the front desk service was very bad The manager, who I had been in contact with for months, was there too and he didn’t seem to care that we were the exhausted bride and groom just trying to check in on our wedding night I’d expect more from a hotel right next door to a prominent wedding venue

Kryptic Studio

Stayed for a week Horrible staff due to the rude and impoliteness Once I was ordering food from Uber and the desk counter lady yelled at the delivery driver and banned him from ever coming to the hotel

The rooms are bare minimum Chairs are falling apart, stains all over the carpets/ bed sets, However the maids were really nice and cleaned well if you brought the issue to them

Deb Walter

We stayed here because it is so close to the Entertainment Center but for the money, it’s not a very nice room Needs updating for sure Lamps looked very old and one didn’t even work so lighting was terrible

Has green worn indoor outdoor carpet Found a small Christmas bulb along the floorboard next to the dresser Don’t know how housekeeping missed it! Also there was a used bar of soap in the shower Eww! No art work on the walls Mattress was pretty comfortable Not worth what they charge Definitely are paying for the convenience of being close to the entertainment center Staff was very nice

I love Home2Suites because the modern look and lay out of the rooms I have stayed a few with no problems This one

not so much Front desk was not friendly, room was clean, sorta, but nothing was plugged in, no shower gel or shampoo in shower, left 1 toilet roll with empty cardboard toilet roll, only 1 cream for 2 coffee??leave 4 next time My spouse is allergic to feather pillows and we requested the polyester pillows Was told don’t have any leftI always recommend Hilton and Homes2Suitesjust not the one here

Amy Herring

Was here on an extended business trip First thing I noticed was that every single plug-in I tried to use would not securely hold the plug Very frustrating when needing to plug in chargers for my laptop and phone

The microwave was missing the spinning wheel under the glass plate Modified cleaning was expected and understandable However, when service was provided it was not the best

Stayed for 3 days, and each day was great :)! The bed was comfortable, and the AC in our room was perfect We could change it to 78° or 64° in no time! The shower pressure was lovely, and the showerhead was quite tall My partner is a tall guy, so the height was perfect

The breakfast was okay, but I don’t mind that too much The location is perfect too! You’re in the middle of everything you need

Jesselynne Thornton

I only stayed for a day, but it was a great stay! The hotel staff were nice, and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in, so that was nice The room that I stayed in was spacious and very clean, as well If I had to critique something it would be that, some of the property seems to be undergoing renovations, so both of their pools were closed and some areas of the hotel were blocked off, but other than that great stay! I’d definitely recommend! 👍🏾

Matt Paterson

I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews because doing so feels like a detriment to my fellow man But in this case, to not write an honest review (could I give 0 stars?) would be to dismiss my duty to my fellow man to spare them this experienceFrist off, the atmosphere of the hotel is that of scraped walls in the hallway with loud and liquor scented guests

(That’s no exaggeration) Inside the room, all the normal features appear to be functional But what do we all really care about? The bed and the pillowsFirst off, the 5 pillows were square shaped (What is this a couch?) and devoid of either fluff or cleanliness We found several eye lashes on the casesPeeling back the now off white sheets showed us several long hairs, not our own And the smell from them was not that of freshly washed It didn’t smell used, but it also didn’t not smell used eitherWe arrived at 1am on a Thursday and within 5 minutes had made our way downstairs for a full refund Thankfully, they did do us that grace by giving us back our $155 for a Thursday night stay I may have considered staying if they had offered to pay me $155, but I likely wouldn’t have been the first one through those doors to make some cash on their sheets

Never been disappointed with this hotel Wife and I have been coming here for years

it’s actually our little escape Have always been treated extremely well, service in the lounge has always been great, and the restaurant is really good Nice comfortable and non generic hotel Decided to stay a night for our anniversary, and there was champagne and snack tray waiting I have traveled a lot and this is a hidden gem

Tayler Trottier

Was told over the phone when made my reservation that I was getting a double queen bed room for 165/night Got there and they gave us a double bed room for 225 a night and told me they had no others rooms and would not switch me Staff was very rude if I could find or talk to anyone

Warm water was scarce if you wanted to shower And the staff told me I could not get extra towels The lady Watching over the pool was very rude and yelled at multiple children Definitely do not stay if you have any children under the age of 18 Was told only some rooms come with the continental breakfast and our double room was one that didn’t Elevators had problems all day, started taking the stairsOverall experience: worst hotel I have ever stayed at I DO NOT recommend this for anyone! If you do stay, make sure it’s the room you asked for the the price they say

Cybertow

Right away the hotel will get your attention as it is very large, and uniquely builtThe service however has been poor since I arrived I asked at the front desk when we arrived if I could purchase a room upgrade which I was quickly told no

Clerk at the counter refused to look in the computer system Later in the evening I went to the bar to get myself a drink, I arrived at 10 and sat down at the bar, and tried to order myself a drink where I was turned away by the manager who said they were closed When I questioned about the half full room of customers who were enjoying their drinks he asked me to leaveI definitely have a bad taste in my mouth about the service and do not recommend staying at this hotel is you want good service

The worker let me know that he would tell me once my room was ready He must have forgotten since he shortly after 3 pm I waited in the long line that had formed to speak with a different front desk worker We had booked the king suite with the jacuzzi tub It was extremely difficult to open and close the door to the room The room was put together but the fixtures were questionable The front pannel for the tub was halfway off The room smelt slightly wet The floor by where the tile and carpet meet was spongyThe mattress was off of the rotate cycle – the tag of the mattress was January, February, March We stayed in August They do not properly flip and rotate the mattress Only noticed this because we check for bed bugs None of those thankfullyThe grout in the shower looked dirty The wall by the bathroom sink was dirty, like someone splashed coffee on the wall The wall by the garbage and mini fridge was also dirty, pretty sure there was blood on the wallBreakfast was okay The pool area was clean

There were SEVERAL hairs on the floor of then bathroom The bathroom was filthy Workout room filthy

Bathroom near check-in desk filthy Walls dented and dirty Both pools closed with no warning I checked in, worked out, found some sort of bone/food item on the floor of the gym, went to the room to find what appeared to be hair from several different people on the bathroom floor, asked for a refund and left I have no idea where these good reviews are coming from

If I could leave less than one star, I would This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in The rooms are filthy

There is hair everywhere Hair all over the bathroom floor, on the towels, in the bed The room was dusty, cob webs, tile coming off the walls in the bathroom, what looks like blood on the bathroom walls, the mirrors and windows have prints/splashes all over them I had to change the sheets myself When I asked the manager, Charlie, to have a full room cleaning and came back to see nothing done he told me that I only asked for it to be dusted (which it wasn’t) and didn’t care about my concerns of the cleanliness of the room When I went back again he told me there is nothing he can do, rolled his eyes and had an incredibly bad attitude The breakfast is a small kitchen where you make your own waffles, stale bread, and cold eggsI will never stay at this hotel or it’s brand due to the way I was treated by the manager, Charlie, and the lack of cleanliness

I’ve been to this hotel many times just to use the water park but this time decided to stay the night The room was immaculate, not a spot of dust or dirt to be found Staff were super friendly and helpful ( can’t say the same for the children that work the water park area ) but the staff who clean and worked the hotel were amazing

The water park is fun for all ages but do not expect the youngsters that work it to help or give guidance in any way

I’ve been going to this waterpark for years I get that the pandemic has hampered hiring, but it’s pathetic that they can’t do a load of towels in 6 hours Why not issue one towel to each guest as they enter and make their wristband? Rules are super lax unless you accidentally take a tube out of the lazy river

Chemicals are through the roof in the hottub Most likely due to the large number of kids allowed in by disrespectful parents and lack of staff Apparently you’re allowed to bring in giant tumblers of “mommy’s water” to avoid buying really reasonable drinks at the awesome concession stand I used to go once a year for the kids birthday parties but will avoid for the foreseeable future

It had clean rooms, but the thing that really got me was that the walls were so thin You could hear when anybody walked in the halls, and I could hear the people from the room next to us Also in the pool area, it was super hard to get a floaty especially the singular ones

So I was unable to go down the certain slide that required a similar floaty I wish I could have had a double floaty to go down it But overall it was fun will do again!
