As with this chain of hotels, you can count on quality rooms and great service I also found the rates very competitive The staff was very friendly and professional and the rooms were clean and neat

Initially, I had a mix up with the room I reserved and the one I was assigned However, a quick call to the front desk and they immediately made things right One of the best features here was the breakfast Lots of variety, very clean areas to get your food and eat hot breakfast was actual bacon, eggs and sausage very good Excellent experience

Renee Griffin

We stayed here for a Gymnastics meet We enjoyed our stay Rooms were really clean

Breakfast was included and it was pretty good I was happy they had Biscuits and gravyOnly suggestion is, the front desk needs to greet guests as they enter and leave They pretty much ignored us after we checked in

William Slowey

Hotel was very clean We wished we brought our suits to try the pool and juczi   The rooms well well stocked and very nice

We laughed at how high the beds was    The showers were decent  Unless it was the morning, the general downstairs was closed down  Morning breakfast was okay to decentWe had 2 complaints   It was right by the freeway  I understand you can kill all the noise but it was still loud    The second was the light coming into the room  We had to block the door underneith and some of the machines  We switched beds because the light from window came onto the bed more

Extremely disappointing experience Drove all the way from Knoxville to Blackberry Farm to go to their gift shop I wanted to buy something special for family member turning 96

Their so haute tawty, they wouldn’t even let me get out of my car to go into gift shop Said if your not a guest, you can’t enter gift shop I probably spent $40 in gas driving there Who would have thought to call ahead to see if you could enter their gift shop to buy something? Obviously not me Way to make a person feel less than, just because their not someone who can afford $400 rooms That’s only the second time in my life a company made me feel that way First, was Mercedes Benz who wouldn’t even allow me to test drive a car I wanted to buy Guess I didn’t look rich enough to them I went next door and bought Lexus instead They were nice to me and very helpful Lexus has great customer service Blackberry farm is only nice to its guest, customers be damned Thanks Blackberry Farm for making me feel less than Now, if I ever get enough money to stay there, I won’t I don’t spend my hard earned money at places like Blackberry Farm because their NOT good enough for me Sickening experience I don’t know how a place like that gets 5 stars Hope EVERYONE sees this review, including travel magazines, Conde Nast, etc

Was just looking for a middle of the road place to stay for a weekend and landed here Got myself a 1 bed hotel roomVery friendly staff, clean rooms including the bed which was free of bugs and stains

Came with a full sized fridge and a kitchenette with a stove and microwave, two tvs Only complaint is that i was a bit put off by a mildew smell when i first walked into the office, i could only assume was coming from a dirty vent on the wall, which the office is where you eat breakfast at and i dont want mildew up my nose first thing in the morning Not a great first impression My room however did not smell of mold and the vents were clean Note that the nightstands don’t have lamps of any kind so you have to choose between fully lit or completely dark bedroom after the sun sets which was annoying but again, this isn’t your grandma’s guest bedroomI’ll definitely stay here again if i ever find myself in town again It was definitely a better than expected stay and it’s very close to many restaurants and grocery stores

Jeremy Melissa Winstead

Room was awesome The only issue I have is that I wasn’t enformed in advance that there is a $10000 deposit that they take at check-in

When we were checking out I was told that It’s supposed to be refunded as soon as the room is cleaned But later that evening when I still wasn’t refunded my deposit I only then was enformed the refund would take up to 10 days It took about 5 days and then I was only refunded $7500 and they wouldn’t give me a reason The room had been completely cleaned from top to bottom by wife and I She washed the baseboards, vacumed, cleaned out the fridge, mopped the floors and scrubbed the bath and stove She then stripped the beds so it would be easier for housekeeping (She used to clean rooms Crazy I know)The only thing they had to do was make bed and toiletIf you don’t mind spending a small fortune and losing money go for it We want go back

Nice bed I stayed in a 1 king bed room I could have stayed longer but had a flight to catch – overall not far at all from the airport

Very convenient Offers wake up calls and a little alarm clock that worked out well in the room Bathroom was very clean Service was quick and easy It also had a coffee machine in the room Overall, only thing I wish I could have done was close the blackout panels in my room since there were some streetlights late at night entering the room, it didn’t seem to be able to be closed to ensure a fully darkened room but overall this did not affect it at all If you are a wyndham rewards member, the rate is very affordable for the convenience if you are catching a 6am flight

Jean Shigley

We are here for a death in the family The hotel is very clean The room is good

The toilet needs work It sometimes runs and needs a handle jiggle Also no hair dryers and an old style on cup coffee pot Wish it was a keurig They have a laundry but there is only one washer and one dryer and it us in a space within the pool so a sweaty wait for laundry The a/c works great The staff are great

Tyler Shawn

This used to be my go-to hotel However, this time was a nightmare First and foremost, they ARE NOT PET FRIENDLY! Well they are

to an extent They only allow pets in certain rooms Additionally, you can’t leave pets unattended at the hotel YepYou’re reading that correctly Your pet must accompany your every move on your vacation The rooms are not clean Room service is only available upon request Nails in the parking lot So expect a nail in your tire when you’re ready to leave in the morning Oh and if youre a local, apparently you’re not welcome at this hotel I’m not a local but I saw a sign at the front desk that all locals will be turned away The new owners aren’t doing a great job at all Good luck!

Great night stay Mostly quiet other than the property being located next to the Tyson Airport runway They have a great Outdoor pool with plenty of umbrella tables and lawn chairs

Parking is fine unless you have a trailer Then very limited Apple-bees is right next to property for dinner and beers Hotel staff is very friendly and cares I recommend this property

My family stayed here for one night before we made our way to Gatlinburg, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel The airport shuttle service was extremely helpful to the flow of our trip, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed Not only that, but at the time of our stay they included complimentary coffee, water bottles, and continental breakfast for a very reasonable rate

Thanks for the great experience!! 😄

Just got back from an amazing 3 night stay Employees were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable Restaurant food and service was impeccable

The food, the views and the treehouses were an absolute delight and perfect I enjoyed my first ever soundbath (book this!) and it was so relaxing My massage therapist was amazing, on time and applied the perfect amount of pressure for my massage I picked up a lovely parfum from the spa called 11:11 Everything about the trip was great Can’t wait to go back!

I loved everything about this amazing vacation experience From the moment we arrived till our last farewell the staff was warm, courteous and went above and beyond to meet our every request The meals (all included) were some of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten

The freshest ingredients, incredible textures combined with creative flavor profiles results in exceptional dining experiences time after time Whether you are a meat eater, pescatarian, gluten free or any other dietary restrictions the dining staff is happy to accommodate! The room we stayed in was a stone cottage near the lodge We appreciated the spacious accommodations with a convenient location to both the lodge and the hub (activities center) If you’re looking for something more unique you may want to consider the smaller Treehouses These are built into a steep mountain side so your view is literally in the treetops!! Or another option is the more secluded log cabins at the mountain top by the Firetower All are luxurious and perfectly appointedSome of the extras we appreciated included- a dedicated golf cart to use for the duration of your stay so you can easily access all parts of the property- yummy gourmet snacks in our room- the best trail mix ever available at the pool in the valley (perfect after a long hike)- eco friendly installation art at key points along the hiking trails- the most accommodating and amazing staff I’ve ever encountered in any hospitality experienceThis vacation is expensive but it was beyond my expectations and I will absolutely be going back!!

Came with a group for an event The beds were comfortable, and the sheets lovely The hotel staff were kind and accommodating, doing their best to solve problems and change dates and being flexible overall

It’s extended stay, so housekeeping only comes once every 7 days, so I can’t speak to that, but the room was not perfectly clean when we arrived It reeked of smoke (that problem seemed unsolvable), there were hairs in the bathtub, and spiderwebs in basically every corner The kitchen was appropriately stocked, but some of the pots were not fully clean (had just been put in the dishwasher)The pool had a filter issue and was green and gross looking the one day we could really take advantageThere were a LOT of tiny millipedes on our last day We asked if anything could be done, and they said they would spray while we were out It seemed to help? We saw a few more, but not nearly as manyThere is a small vending area where you can buy some snacks and drinks Plenty of parking A nice grill area (though almost always occupied by smokers and dogs while we were there)It’s not a fancy or expensive hotel, so we didn’t expect much more than we got Really the smoke smell and the dirty bathtub were the only things that felt really problematic

POOL HAD BLACK ALGAE! Hotel staff denies the pool has been neglected Maintenance blamed the black algae on rain the previous day They closed the pool for 1 day

I filed a complaint with the local health department Staff informed me the pool was inspected and is FINE and they are back open and full of kids Review my researchIs it safe to swim with black algae in my pool?First of all, when black algae bloom in your pool, it isn’t pretty Not many people will want to swim in it! But, if they do, they won’t get sick from the algae aloneHowever, although the black algae itself won’t cause illness, it can attract insects or harbor organisms or harmful bacteria like E coli, which can make swimmers sick It’s best to avoid swimming in a pool with black algae until you’ve eradicated itHow do I prevent or get rid of black algae in my pool? When you own a pool, regular maintenance is a part of life Preventive measures like brushing and vacuuming your pool, maintaining proper pool chemistry with balanced chemicals, and shocking your pool weekly help keep it cleanIf hotel accepted responsibility I would not post but they do not

We stayed at this Best Western while we were waiting on the closing process of our new home The room was very clean, and the staff was excellent We enjoyed our executive suite, and we really liked having a dishwasher to use

We want to give a shout-out to the maintenance man, Doug Not only was he extremely accommodating, but he went the extra mile and changed my tire when I came out to a flat in the parking lot Our stay was excellent, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in the Greater Knoxville area Way to go Doug, and way to go Best Western!

My family arrived right before check in and the front desk ladies were kind enough to let us hang out in the dining area until our room was clean At first glance everything looked great! The bed was soft and the room looked updated However, I found a hair on the sheet of one bed, food crumbs on the floor around the bed, hair on a wash cloth, and the bathroom floor had a lot of hair

By the time I realized, it was late and I just wanted to go to bed I told the front desk lady about the hair on the bathroom floor and she gave me a broom and dustpan to clean it up I swept up A LOT of hair The lady at the front desk was very kind but I was extremely grossed out and didn’t sleep the rest of the night It could have been worse but my visit definitely wasn’t great

Overall, our stay was very pleasant and comfortable Our King Suite was spacious and clean There was consistent hot water

The hotel itself was quiet and in an accessible location The free breakfast was acceptable – eggs, meats, baked goods, etc Their breakfast included a pancake maker which I hadn’t seen before The coffee was good compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at The staff was helpful and friendly The hotel itself, while clearly renovated, had a modern, light feel Some of the renovations did show the age of the building (8ft ceilings, poor paint jobs, inconsistent light temperatures, etc)However, there was several small things that made our great stay into a good stay The toilet clogged several times, including one time where I had to go down to the front desk because no one was answering my phone calls (yes, plural) Then, after waiting several minutes for someone to return (I suspect the young man working the front desk that evening wasn’t paying attention) was handed a plunger to take care of the problem myself (Quick note: I don’t mind taking care of this issue myself, however, as a guest, it caught me a bit off-guard to be handed a plunger)The water pressure in the shower was quite low The bed was a bit firm for my tastePlease note: I would stay at this hotel again given the location and the price Just on this particular occasion, our stay was just ok, not great

We took the ISR class with Ms Samantha at the pool here What a great experience

The pool area was nicely heated and so clean! The staff was incredibly kind to our 35 year old twins The lobby always smelled delicious, as we had early morning lessons and breakfast was cooking away:) Overall, it was such a pleasant experience coming here every morning for six weeks!

I had an excellent stay; I was here for 2 weeks for business and really enjoyed my time here My room was very clean and spacious, I had a king size bed that was comfortable Check-in was a breeze

Gibby’s restaurant and bar was nice, the food was good Amenities and stores are located not too far away, plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute drive and walking distance as well Highly recommended

Kim High

Everyone was so nice! My daughter and I visited a Knoxville for her to attend a volleyball camp at UT I wanted a hotel with a nice gym and a nice outdoor pool I found the best place! For just a little higher rate, breakfast was included and definitely worth it

I also asked for a later checkout (because my daughter didn’t get out of camp until 2:45) and they extended my checkout time to 1:00 I have no complaints I don’t think I could’ve found anything better for what I wanted (affordable, comfortable, friendly, gym, and pool) We will stay here again when visiting Knoxville (my daughter will probably attend UT, so that could be quite often)

Elyse Moore

I definitely did not enjoy my stay The pool was very nice but not as deep as it says Normally, I could never stand in 5 feet deep water because of my height

I’m definitely not complaining about that though Our room was very cramped and not great quality Our couch had a rip in it and the bathroom stunk My biggest problem was the breakfast I have never gone to a Holiday Inn that doesn’t have free breakfast We came with many people and to get access to the buffet is $12 dollars a plate Once again, I have never in my life been to a Holiday inn without free breakfast We have multiple people staying together and have driven a long way All the gas prices and stops have added up and all the other hotel stays It’s really not acceptable to add $48 more I think that is extremely stupid, spending lots of money on a small hotel room and not getting free breakfast There is also a huge space right by the pool and I definitely think that maybe some more rooms could fit in there Just to clarify these are all my opinions and I don’t know if this hotel if planning on fixing these things It would be nice to know beforehand though

Really nice hotel Pets welcomed Could tell it was a remodeled older hotel but have very nice upgrades to the rooms

The fridge and dishwasher were a bit outdated compared to the rest of the updates but still worked perfectly so not a problem Rooms were clean smelled fresh and comfortable Fully stocked kitchenette Of course can’t forget the signature reclining chair (that is why I pick this chain of hotels 🙂) My husband is disabled and can only sleep in a recliner THANK YOU FOR HAVING RECLINERS!Staff was very friendly and lobby was clean and neat Nicely stocked pantry/food and plenty of laundry machines for extended stays Lots of restaurants to choose from at close proximity to the hotel Will definitely keep this one on our favorites list!

If you come to the Knoxville area, especially for an extended stay, you should come to here My room was spotless, smelled good and was reasonably priced The people who work here the greatest personalities! They are efficient, more than kind and make being away from home a little easier

Laundry facilities are free (BONUS!!), there’s a workout room and a pantry with food, drinks and necessities for a great price Housekeeping is on top of things Always glad to help and bend to my schedule Love, love, love this place Thanks y’all, for making my stay awesome!

Lexie Shaunak

We stayed here on our way to and from visiting relatives in Virgina, as Knoxville was a good halfway point for us to stop We were pleasantly suprised with this little hotel! Pet friendly was essential as our dog was traveling with us, and they had one of the best pet fees I was able to find But the thing that I most appreciated that caused me to write this review was the STAFF – every single person we interacted with was very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful – from me asking questions over the phone before booking, to calling ahead to let them know we would be arriving late in the evening due to traveling, to both check in and check out processes, each person was warm, friendly, seemed genuinely happy to welcome us, and was informative

We even bumped into someone from housekeeping who was also very warm and friendly Especially with us traveling during the days leading up to and after Thanksgiving, which I know can be a busy stressful time for everyone, I really appreciated that The location is great – under 10 mins to things like starbucks, target, and lots of shopping and dining options Our room was clean, quiet, and we felt very comfortable and safe throughout our stay It is an older hotel, but you can tell it is well cared for and kept up, and it served exactly for what we needed as a place to rest on our travels We also appreciated the later checkout time, which meant we didn’t have to be rushed to leave in the morning We will definitely keep this place in mind if we find ourselves traveling through Knoxville area with our pet again!

Only a one night stay but we really liked the room Everything seemed clean and the staff were all very nice The included breakfast was exactly what you would expect to be free and I have no problem at all with that

The only thing I wish I had done was bring my own pillow They had 4 tiny pillows for a king size bed that just didn’t quite work for me Not sure why they went that way but it was okay I usually bring my own on a longer trip anyway so that was my fault To sum it up, it was a very nice stay in a good, safe area

Mike Zimmerman

Spent one night at this Baymont while traveling Found the hotel lobby and rooms very clean and in excellent shape The most pleasant surprise was the staff and their customer service

From the front desk clerk who checked us in, the attendant who handled the breakfast to the lady who was cleaning up the common areas all were extremely pleasant and cordial Helped make the stay a pleasant experience

Everyone was very polite and our room was clean The only problem was an outside light on the ground pointed at our window It was a blue light that came on every couple minutes

It was positioned to shine on the building Our room would light up every time it came on It was very bright and flashing We were on the ground floor west side Room 127 I think the lights were spaced to shine on the whole hotel

Clean rooms and friendly service Can’t beat it for the price and the views of the Smokey MountainsAfter having breakfast, I have adjusted my rating

The owner did not have biscuits out for the gravy, and when the host was asked to place some out by my wife, and he started to assist, the owner stated that they were out, in a very curt attitudeAfter my wife got her cereal, they were low on milk I asked the host to come get more, which he wad more than willing to do, but the owner could be seen with a look on his face as if he didn’t want to have his employee work the breakfast areaand he didn’t bother moving to assist in working the breakfast area

Beautiful hotel that appears fairly new, and friendly staff That’s the good news Bad news: Walls not soundproofed–you’ll know when someone next door showers; bed platform clanged when getting in or out of bed; desk and wakeup call buttons unanswered for half hour; side door card reader mostly inoperable; late checkout wasn’t properly noted–by 2 people–so 2 other people disturbed this guest unnecessarily

What a great stay right on the river!!!Wendy is a wonderful host who went out of her way to accommodate my early arrival and make sure I was taken care of with my lack of transportation! The property is beautiful and offers a variety of cozy places to sit and enjoy the outdoors A great hammock for napping by the water, amazing front porch of the 1800’s cabin for reading, or the fire pit for some delicious smores!Enjoy peace and tranquility (but know the walls are thin as they have opted to keep the original architectural integrity of the cabin)Easily within walking distance on the great bike paths and trails of Townsend to some local establishments, and ideally situated for easy park access

We loved our stay – and, it was February! So, just imagine spring, summer, or fall 😊❤️ We arrived during a monster rain storm, 9pm, and Wendy was AWESOME! Our room was so warm and welcoming and had everything we could need or want The “peaceful side of the Smokies” is for sure our jam! We are already planning our next trip to Townsend and The Strawberry Patch Inn for June! Can’t wait to sit outside, stargaze and listen to the sweet, sweet sound of the Little River…pure bliss! ❤️

My cousin booked this visit for our yearly vacation together Just her,my sister, and myself Wendy was an excellent hostess and the place is just beautiful! So relaxing and peaceful

Drink your morning coffee by the river or your cocktail by the firepit at night Either way it is amazing My favorite part is NO TV in our room 🤣 That upset the other 2 but not meI loved it! I can’t wait to go back this fall for a Ladie’s Weekend
