On first glance, the room was updated and very nice! After awhile I noticed a lot was rushed by the construction crew, though Just little things, (baseboards not attached, outlet covers only held on by the actual plug, the shower sprayed into the ceiling, etc) nothing that really impacted my stay, especially for the price

The bed was so comfy Everything was super clean The staff were so sweet and helpful The sounds of the nearby highway were fairly muffled The location is decent I felt comfortable leaving without a weapon and it’s close to everything I’d absolutely stay here again

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here Wanted a suite with separate bedroom and found one here for a good price Nothing fancy and a bit dated but was comfortable

Location is between downtown Cincinnati and Kings Island, right off the highwayRoom was fine and in good condition Nice free breakfast and 24/7 coffee Friendly staffMy cons1) They need to clean better – towels had some spots on them and found some garbage in the kitchen upon checking in2) Kitchen is totally bare – not even some basic plates, cups, water, or wine glasses

We stayed at this hotel 6 years ago when visiting the area Great location to shopping and restaurants, good breakfast and spacious room, however our return visit left us dissatisfied The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is understandable, but old mattresses stacked up at the front door awaiting discard upon our arrival was a tacky reception and eyesore

I’m not sure if our double queen room was a remodeled room or in-progress It was much smaller than expected as if the room is meant for 1 king bed The space was so tight I could touch the kitchenette counter while lying in the bed The shower fixtures were new, but there was just a tension curtain rod and the high-pressure shower head (which felt great) flooded the floor b/c of low curb Other decorating seemed incomplete (no phone, no dishes) Front desk wasn’t consistently staffed (had to wait for someone to come) All that was at least tolerable What wasn’t okay is that the main front doors were propped open all night When we came in at midnight there was no one at the desk Anyone could walk right in and get on the elevator Because of poor security, our family won’t be back and I can no longer recommend

Pleasant surprise! Nice, quiet stay Bed was comfortable and room was clean Nice size microwave & fridge

Shower & bathroom was clean & roomy Unfortunately, I didnā€™t get to sample any of the breakfast or other amenities the hotel offered, but look to do so next time Overall, a great stay and will definitely do so in the future! 45 out of 5

Staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful However, my AC didn’t work in my room One maintenance person replaced the batteries in the wall unit since it said low battery

We thought that would fix it but it didn’t Called the desk a few more times about it that night, they did eventually offer to move me rooms but I was going through a lot and didn’t feel up to doing that so they did bring a fan up that evening which helped get me through the night The front desk rep that answered that night opted to take $50 off my stay as well as have someone come fix the ac the next day I never did get the $50 credit but the maintenence man Don came the next day and got the ac to work He was honestly the kindest and most helpful person My first night staying i was also 3 minutes too late to the drink/snack thing they offer and was told it’s on a timer so they couldn’t help me plus no food was out anymore I know it was my responsibility to be there on time but I wasn’t even 5 min late and was denied both my drinks and food which was very disappointing All in all not a bad stay The room was beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly and did try to be helpful but I’d be lying if I said this was a great Drury inn experience The pool and hot tub were the highlights of my experience here Absolutely lovely, well maintained and the hot tub was nice and hot šŸ˜Œ

Very nice and well kept hotel Staff was thoroughly pleasant Check in was easy, room was ready at check in time

Room was very nice, didn’t feel cramped even with a standard King room Stayed during a busy weekend but heard no noise at all as walls seem well insulated Instead of little bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash the tub is equipped with dispensers so you have plenty Bed was very comfortable Breakfast is daily from 7-10 am and consists of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy along with various cereals, all very good There is also an evening meal served at 5:30 with a main course (varies by day), sides and snacks as well as 3 free adult beverages per guest, all meals served in a nice common area at no additional charge Parking is ample and hotel is easy to find Will definitely return

We have stayed there multiple times and always chose this hotel! Pool and hot tub is great and always clean when we come The rooms are spacious along with the bathroom being big as well! Showers always have liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner Great hotel all around! Super close to Bob Evans even though the hotel serves good breakfast, I love waking up and getting Bob Evans

Laken Bowens

Way over crowded The pool area compared to a lot of other Drury hotels is tiny! The hot tub was disgusting! Tons of dirt and grime floating in it Hardly could enjoy the area

One elevator for the entire hotel was madness! Walked ages around 2 halls to get to room Wait time for the elevator was ridiculous It was so slow The eating times had 0 seating left every night Every amenity was too small for how many rooms they had fully booked

I stayed at this hotel for nearly 3 weeks The stay was very comfortable Even though the place is going full front desk staff Angela and the interns make sure that every request big or small is taken care of immediately

Absolutely commendable The general manager of the property Cindy, is amazing, she is so hands on We are new to the country and needed help on apartment search, veg food, pointers for furniture places, rescheduling our hotel stay and so many other things and she addressed them all with a smile Their kitchen staff too makes sure that refills happen on time and guest needs are taken care of The entire staff at the hotel is friendly and works as a team There is always a good spread at breakfast Although I wish there were are some healthy vegetarian options Would definitely come back if I am in the area Thank you Cindy and the entire team for a pleasant and memorable stay!

David B

We had an excellent stay for 4 nights The room was spacious, clean, and accommodated our family well Breakfast was enjoyable each morning

The hotel is close to restaurants and there is so many to choose from The staff was friendly My only complaint is the pool is too cold Our kids enjoy swimming but the with the water being so cold they couldnā€™t enjoy it I mentioned it to the front desk but the temp didnā€™t seem to change over the next few days

Greg Jenkins

This hotel is wonderful and I highly recommend for business, group, and personal stays The rooms were clean and well kept The hotel is very well maintained

The entire staff were super courteous and I enjoyed my multiple night stay to the point that I knew the front desk staff by name (has never happened in my other business travels) Would not consider any other hotel in that market

This is an amazing hotel Being a travel nurse I needed humble time and good bed to sleep after my night shift and I found extra ordinary place in holiday inn hotel at blue ash The staff are respectful, humble, and ready to help all the time

The management is super sweet They ha ve made my stay in Cincinnati wonderful and fun I will surely miss the staff after My contract is complete They deserve a šŸ‘‘

Mermaid Mama

The entrance was clean, the Desk Clerk greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome The professionalism shown by the staff was impressive The room was clean and possessed the facilities needed for my stay

I enjoyed the quietness in the hotel My only pet peeve was the televisionā€™s size and the difficulty adjusting the picture Thatā€™s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5

3 couples including myself stayed 2 nights at this location Upon arrival the mood in the air was staunch , by observation learned there had been a riff between employees, it aftereffect still hanging The lobby floors were muddy and trash bag in floor by elevator on 3rd floor

Mops in corners, brooms here and there randomThe manager and staff with( exception of the 2 that were cleaning rooms) were very rude lacking PR skills to say the least The second day, the coffee was empty, I informed and said they would get some made After 15 minutes waiting I went to door of kitchen to ask if was soon to come out The employee looked as me with much disgust and angry face loudly blurted out ā€œ itā€™s comingā€ I said you need to not be getting angry for a simple question! She then used different tone This was last straw for me of enduring the negative attitude of this facility , and I spoke out to both kitchen staff and went to manager also and told Mgr they greatly need to work on the friendliness to customers, respect the customers that give respect I personally retired from retail and social work and always treated my customers kind and respectful I expect the same in return This is first time in 40 years I have stayed at a Holiday Inn that was ran so unprofessionally On the positive note, the rooms were very clean, beds were great Iā€™m sending this to inform Corp that to assure return customers they need a corrective action plan setup I certainly will not return to this location

Just stayed this past weekend for a family reunion 7/23 The hotel was very nice

The only complaint was the rooms smelled a bit musty, but it didn’t bother me The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had, it was kept well stocked and there were plenty of options I would definitely stay here again I loved the soft pillows, can someone please tell me what brand of pillow it is because I would love to go buy one!

Jesse Baird

I have a hard time giving this hotel 3 stars On one hand it does great on all the things you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express (decent rooms, pool, breakfast, etc), plus it actually has all the little things that are sometimes missing, like a working fan in the bathroom, doors that don’t slam, an A/C fan you can leave on all night for white noise, updated furniture, etcHowever, the one unexcusable issue that knocked it down two stars is the unmistakable and ever present smell of cigarette smoke

It is clear someone attempted to clean (or cover) it up, but it didn’t work The smell was pretty terrible in the hall and better, but still not great, in the room I rolled over in the bed, which probably puffed some air from a corner somewhere and I got a huge lung full Maybe I’m being too critical, but I just can’t accept this issue despite all the other things this hotel did well The good news is this is probably fixable with a good thorough cleaningThanks for the good stay!!Update – upon further reflection, 3 stars was too harsh, so bumping to 4 Would have been 5 without the smoke smell

Matt Sfura

Booked 3 nights, through Hotelscom, for 2 Queen Beds for 4 people, with credit card to guarantee booking Upon arrival, they had changed my reservation to King Bed w/ pullout, calling it an “upgrade”

2 of us had to share the pullout VERY disappointed Talked to front desk, who said, “this happens all the time, you’re not the first”, as if that made it more acceptable They changed to two Queens the following night, and gave us Holiday Inn “points” but refused to refund the cost of the first night where we received not what we booked (both local hotel and greater Holiday Inn refused a refund) This is terrible service, when we book a certain kind of room, and show up at night, we expect to have what we booked, you can’t just change our booking without notifying us and call it “CUSTOMER service” Would never stay here again, nor honestly at any Holiday Inn

We stayed one night from Minnesota to celebrate Kings Islands 50th birthday Very convenient to KI and a variety of restaurant choices The staff at this hotel was very good and room rate more than reasonable

Room was very clean, large and the bed was comfy The breakfast was quite average but good enough Gale who was working the breakfast was very friendly making sure our needs were met The biggest issue was our toilet The floater got stuck so water kept running until we physically stopped it We did let front desk staff know when we checked out

Brenda Adkins

The staff was very friendly, especially Gail during breakfast She made sure everyone felt comfortable and that there was enough food for everyoneOverall the hotel was clean

We were given a room upon arrival, the key didnā€™t work so they moved us to another room The next room smelled like an old pair of sneakers We went ahead and stayed in the room because it was late and we were tired When we checked out, I told the front desk to please not give that room to anyone else until they deodorize it Throughout the years, Holiday Inns seem to be going downhill I hope the company is able to start revitalizing their brand again and bring back their high standardsBest part about this hotel, it has a Graeterā€™s Ice Cream right beside it

Jen Ben

We stayed here to visit Kingā€™s Island It was for a special occasion and they upgraded the room we stayed in for free This was such a nice and unexpected treat

The rooms are very clean, and spacious I always look for a pool, fitness center and breakfast and they have all three There is a nice dining area for families to eat at, and breakfast was very good!

Did you ever contact Taylor about the hotel was in this repair The elevator did not work properly It was very warm in the hotel as well

When we got into our room it was about 90Ā° I went down to the front desk and they said they turned the air off in housekeeping when they clean the rooms and the guest turn it on when they arrive It was a sweet with only a unit in the bedroom There was a fan up in the ceiling to carry the cool air out to the living area but it did not work efficiently and it never did cool down The police were called in a hotel when my husband was down getting towels at the front desk Common areas were not clean The room was not that clean either There were only 2 towels in a room for four people Almost half of the light bulbs in the room were burned out or missing It appeared that they were trying to save money at every turn and definitely at the guest expense Pot could be spelled throughout the hotel I honestly do not know how it has this star rating or the customer satisfaction rating that it has We were highly disappointed!

Seema Khan

We just needed a place to crash for a few hours of sleep on our road trip Price is good, staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable when we showed up at 4am with kids in tow The beds were comfortable and was exactly what we needed before getting back on the road but the place itself really needs some updating

Carpets were really sticky and there was lots of gross hair coming up out of the clogged drain in the tub so we werenā€™t able to shower Also the door handle just came right off when we were trying to leave

Arun Kumar Samuel

Bath tub and wash basin do not drain quickly water quicklyRooms are not clean, but bed is fineBreakfast not supplied as per booking

Cold bread and cerial kept on the tableHow come this hotel rated 89?

ZERO STARS! No, no, and no!!! Don’t stay here! The toilets get very easily clogged We traveled with a large group and 3 out of our 4 rooms ended up with a clogged toilet If this happens don’t expect them to bring you a plunger! I had to pick it up from the front desk which sits right across from the dining area

I’m sure guests eating breakfast enjoyed watching me with the plunger and being told it’s my fault for using to much toilet paper Also, during check in we were told the pool was closed due to it being rented out for swim lessons The rooms smell horrible too I’ve never experienced anything like this before

Kelli D.

They were only supposed to charge me $126 but they charged my credit card for $180 Additionally, I chose this because it had a high rating for safety among solo travelers Fast forward to 5:30 this am when the place department was banging on my door to check on me because a gun went off in the next room

I left almost immediately, despite only having a couple of hours of sleep and was told by the front desk person that $75 would be taken off my room charge Nothing has been corrected on my card and I have not heard back from a manager

J-Rob

Despite the staff being very nice, that’s where the redeeming qualities endI have never stayed at a hotel where the pool was closed to the guests, because someone local was teaching swim lessons The website said there was a fitness room

That’s false Need an elevator to get to the 2nd floor? Tough luck! The toilets clog very easily Staff said we were using too much toilet paper That was also false They didn’t even bring the plunger to us They made us come to get it in front of everyone who was sitting in the breakfast area First room they tried to give us stunk 2nd room stunk a little less, so we took that one It would help if the smokers would stand further away from the building to ensure that the cigarette smoke doesn’t woft into the building

We stayed here for one night for a trip to Kings Island and found it to be well worth the price All parts of the hotel we saw seemed to be very clean (but we didn’t check out the pool or fitness area so can’t vouch for those) Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had, my kids will always love a pancake machine

The lobby felt inviting and there were lots of seating options for when breakfast got full I really appreciated the blackout (or nearly) curtains in the room and having hooks for sweatshirts and such No need for a closet! Bathroom had enough counter space and liked the wall mounted soaps and lotion, no need to take the little ones when leaving Definitely felt like we got our money worth and we’d definitely stay again next time we go to Kings Island

Heather I

Would definitely stay here again Megan was wonderful and super helpful with any questions we had and with local food recommendations (even a handy menu at the desk)! The room was clean, love the smell of the soaps, coffee was good all day Air conditioner not too loud

The ice machine is located near the elevators where you can grab a bucket and get your ice, plus fill up any water bottles with the machine next to it And 10 PM every night we were able to watch the fireworks at Kings Island from outside! Great location close to attractions, food, and the interstate

Sadie S

+ I watched them take the reception area/food service area completely apart to clean and disinfect+ Clean room looks just like the pictures+ Woman working in the mornings was great

Super friendly and helpful+ Pool was nice+ We were allowed a slightly later check out, which really helped us out+ Nice breakfast spread with the ability to socially distance- Slight smell to room when we got there but it was probably from the cleaning supplies because it definitely went away- Laminate/hardwood floors My child was walking (not running or anything like that)across the room, and the people downstairs complained

This hotel is very clean, and contemporary with a helpful, charming staff We enjoyed a delicious, chocolate chip cookie while checking in Itā€™s conveniently located to wonderful restaurants, shopping and two major freeways

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with numerous choices of cereals, breads, muffins, along with white egg frittatas, turkey sausages and make your own waffles I especially enjoyed their hot oatmeal with lots of toppings Would definitely stay here again if we need a hotel here

D ee

This is a really good place to stay its clean and the staff was professional and went the extra mile for us The only thing I didn’t know is you have to request 24 hours in advance for fresh linen, but they were able to fit me in for some fresh ones And the refrigerator was not as cold as I needed it, but it was cool enough

I recommend this place in your travels

This was the perfect hotel for our King’s Island vacation We’ve never been before and wanted to stay somewhere close to the park, but not at the cost of Great Wolf Lodge pricing So after a little research, this hotel came up, and it surpassed all my expectations! It’s very well priced, only a few minutes from Kings Island (you can see the Eiffel Tower and watch fireworks from the parking lot, it’s that close), and because it’s not smack dab next to the park, it’s pretty quiet which is a huge plus

Upon check-in we were offered complementary cold waters, which was really nice, especially on a hot day Everyone who works here is incredibly nice and helpful if you have questions There’s a little store upfront that seems to stay open pretty late, if not all night So if you need snacks, medicine, drinks, they’ve got you coveredBreakfast was really good as well They change up the menu everyday They offer different flavored waffles, eggs, omelettes, potatoes, various meats, cereals, muffins, bagels A little something for everyone It all tasted fresh and was very filling And if you want something else to eat, Waffle House is right next door, as well as a ton of other restaurants right across the streetThe room itself was way bigger than we were expecting, too There’s a large wardrobe to store clothes, a mini fridge, and the bed was quite comfortableAll in all, we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we visit Kings Island!

Mishelle Nofziger

Our room was super clean as was the whole hotel The bed & pillow was very comfortable Weā€™ve left hotels early before because of beds not being comfortable

Everyday I left towels hanging to be used again and everyday they were replaced with clean towelsThe complimentary breakfast was very well presented and the whole area was super clean Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel

ROOM FOR GROWTHI stay at Hampton Inn most out of the Hilton properties They usually have a good resting area, pool, exercise room and customer service Theyā€™re usually very clean and accommodating

I would make these recommendations:Front desk provide a little more relief to guests When asking for the room to be cleaned up at noon, make sure the cleaning staff knows and that you tell the guest ā€œyeā€ not ā€œthe cleaning staff will be leaving soonā€ No they werenā€™t leaving for two more hours and they only needed to take care of the towels and bathroom floorWhen asking for a non-slip bathtub May, have one Itā€™s a potential lawsuit Children and disabled persons need mats GET some to put in rooms when people ask for them management could have immediately gone out to get some when we requested for oneWhile the buffet staff has a lot to manage, patrons want to have things easy for themselves Get non-stick spray for your waffle makers (the other 13 Hampton Iā€™ve stayed at this year have it) Have sodden tongs for the toaster for safety measures Especially when children are attempting to do things themselves (I witnessed an unsupervised child using metal tongs to get her toast)If staff is going to smoke on property, donā€™t go next to a door Even if it is rainingThere is always room for growth

Pretty new hotel within walking distance of several restaurants and shops I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and this one was pretty much on par with the others Good water pressure, comfy bed, clean room

There were a couple issues that made the stay more of a 45 instead of 5 stars but I’ll round up First was our AC unit in room 323 When it wasn’t running it made a squealing type noise so we ended up leaving the TV on all night The second thing was breakfast This is more preference I suppose but this is the first Hampton that didn’t have biscuits and bacon available and the bigger issue (for me) was the lack of water Usually there is a pitcher of ice water somewhere nearby but at this location there was just a fountain with luke warm waterOverall your average Hampton and one of the nicer hotels in the area

This was a nice, clean, new Hampton Inn prototype design Their pet area is taken care of and to the left of the pool room area outside They are pet friendly, as are all Hampton Inn by Hilton hotels are now

The staff was extremely friendly and kind, they were very nice when they helped me buy a Strongbow beer and a water from the suite shoppe Really was nice after a full-on worn out day Kings Island Highly recommend your hotel installs car chargers as the nearest level 3 charger is about 5 miles the other way, so had to go do that for about 20 minutes Breakfast was nice, staff was extremely helpful and it looked like good food I tried a couple of things and tasted like they care about food Thanks again so much for being accommodating and making my husband, pets and my stay graat, not to mention I had a fantastic birthday It felt genuinely like they were making sure myself and everyone there was there “for the stay” Side note, it you see an old Hampton Inn under rehab, drive a couple blocks down and you’ll see this new one I arrived at 11 PMish that night so wasn’t easy to tell right off until I got up to it and realized it wasn’t the new Hampton, so yeah its down the road a tad

Nice, newer hotel with lovely amenities like the gym and hotel bar/restaurant area Stayed here twice and had a great experience The room layout is unique, featuring a large bad, sofa and massive TV

Bathroom has bright lighting and huge shower with a glass wall so no curtains to mess with which is great Location is close to major roads and food Will be staying here again in the future

No issues The kids across the hall kept coming and going in and out from room to room for a couple hours and that was a tad annoying because the doors are loud IF you let them slam Do better parents

I have four babies and they KNOW better It is disruptive It eventually stopped around 930pm Other than that, it was excellent Amazing mini market selection I ordered dinner because I didn’t want to bother the Cafe staff Delivery from Chili’s was fast Will be back because Hilton chains are cutting services now and Marriott isn’t

We live closeā€” over the river in fort thomas- about 20 miles Our daughter was invited to a sleepover in the area and I drive for Amazon flex- the warehouse is close to this hotel so I thought weā€™d make a night of it and I could work a shift or twoJust WOW! First off, we are Marriott members and when we requested an upgrade it was given

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff And for me, I always struggle to use those mobile keys but it worked right awayThe room- this is the king suite but itā€™s huge and itā€™s so clean My husband cleans the bathroom anywhere we go I love that he does it but the things we have seen Anyway, he is walking around talking about how much he loves this clean room and that after cleaning the bathroom he was shocked not to have found any hair Great job housekeeping!!This room has USB ports all over, and two large TVs and a lot of space I love the view as I have been watching the birds playing My kiddo loves the sofa area and has deemed it as ā€œhersā€ until she goes to the partyEverything is just easy thus far and I am sure it will continue to go as smoothlyā€¦Itā€™s a block from Walgreens – not sure if you could walk it as I forgot to see if there was a sidewalkHeaded to the gym to check it out and we will update with more pics after our stay I was so pleased with how our stay began that I didnā€™t want to forget to write a review :)Opened in 2019 and it looks even newer and so far everything is clean/pristineThe rest of our stay was amazing! That gymā€” wow! Upscale cardio and weightlifting machinesā€” leg press, chest press, bicep and tricep machines on the cardio you could use their machines for Facebook, Twitter , YouTube and netflix Our kiddo was able to sit on a bench and watch tv and use the bike while we used the equipment Also water machine and cups Free ear buds alsoThey food and drinks and coffee- Starbucks type I didnā€™t personally use but I did enjoy a Klondike bar from the the front desk storeThe bathroom is just smart and easy as everything was here Check the picsAnd again- USBs everywhereā€¦ So convenient! We saw some slivers of the sun setting

The facilities were really clean The indoor pool was great for my family of seven Just 3 feet to 4 feet

Free breakfast until 9am And plenty of good restaurants nearby Kings Island is right next door Very convenient if you are going to hit the theme park or water park Jay takes the management of the place really seriously and will make sure your stay is clean and simple

The bathroom we had was not clean I didnā€™t even want to stand in the shower without shoes The room had a weird (not good) smell

The air conditioner unit would not stay on and the room would get hot The bed was not comfortable It was firm and you could feel the springs The breakfast was average Overall, I will not be coming back

We brought our 5 year old there mainly due to them having a pool We went out and bought new bathing suits for the stay One of the patrons broke the door leading into the pool room so we had to explain to our little girl that she wasn’t going to be swimming

That was very disappointing but understandable Breakfast is served between 6-9am and was VERY busy at 8:20am not making for an enjoyable experience Other then that The room was very nice and clean, the employees were helpful and friendly I wouldn’t be opposed to going back there in the future

10/10 rating We stayed just one night and had no complaints about a single thing Staff was amazing and helpful the entire time

We just checked out of our room after a long and hot weekend The rooms were very big and in theory perfect for a family I booked it thinking our family of 4 would be comfortable and Hyatt is what I thought a reputable chain

Our roomā€™s air conditioning was not working properly I heard at least 10 other guest complaining of the same thing Our sink was leaking and we had to keep our trash can under the sink to catch the water We had to empty the trash can a couple of times because it kept filling up One can only assume there is (or going to be) a mold problem And our toilet stayed clogged The hallway (at least on the 4th floor) was LOUD! And we never waited less than 5 minutes for an elevator It was a busy weekend at the hotel, but our stay just kept going from bad to worse

Robert Davis

I was shocked to find my room was not made up and my towels were not replaced When we called the front desk they said it must be requested and we should have been notified at check in They said it was due to COVID-19

I think it is unacceptable for a room that costs over $200 per night They also pre authorized $50 for incidental expenses Why???
