We stayed here due to a cancelled flight Upon arrival, we were told that the airline overbooked the hotel, but they had one room available They provided contact for a cab company that gave a discount for their customers, provided directions to the local stores and eateries, walked us to our room and made sure everything was clean and stocked, and then walked us to the breakfast room to pick out some food for the morning, because of our early checkout

The room was clean and spacious, and had a microwave and mini fridge I have never been to a place with this level of service and employees who truly wanted your stay to be comfortable It honestly isn’t the most beautiful hotel, but the service and care is top notch, and I bet the aesthetics will follow as they continue to serve their customers so very well I would definitely stay here again if I’m the area and in need Even my bougie wife was impressed, which is saying a lot

Diana Valenzuela

It’s not at all what it looks like in pictures There construction in many rooms The area isn’t to safe

The employees are good guys Just the second floor door handle to swipe key was out of batteries we had to switch rooms to lower floor No towels and the TV had issues couldn’t turn onno phone to call for service and the walls are paper thin heard everything from on top room😩not recommended for family If anything just a quick emergency sleep

Christine Hartley

On what could only be described as one of the hardest days I have had to face, the staff was so accomodating, warm, kind, and loving I even got hugs when I broke downThe bed was one of the most comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless

I usually can’t sleep well my first night in a motel I was out like a light by 7:30😴I wish I could give them more stars They deserve it❤I will definitely stay here in the future, and recommend Sovana Inn to anyone who asks

I always read reviews before checking into a hotel I have no idea where some of the previous reviews were really staying This is a very nice hotel and I love the fact that you park right in front of your room and it is covered

I find it was very charming and the bed was amazing slept like a baby Everyone was so nice and very professional The breakfast service was very good The room was cozy and I loved the chair but missed not having a foot stool with it But is just me The temperature was perfect My husband and I will stay there again and tell all are friends and family on their travel up and down I5 Very easy to find restaurants from the hotel very close by Thank you for your caring and hospitably

Karen H

I stopped in here on my way to California and I was pleasantly surprised as it exceeded my expectations for the price The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, no hidden charges The room was clean and tidy and I liked that my car was parked right in front of my door

Made it easy to unload and reload the car The hotel was quiet at night and I had a good sleep It will be my go to place on the way through next time As a person traveling alone I felt quite safe

Kim Turner

I was kind of surprised that this place had such highly rated reviews Maybe it’s for effort as it appears that they’re attempting a renovation There were dust laden cobwebs in the corners of the room

The bathroom was in need of some elbow grease as there was dirty build up on the floor in the corners and around the edges, and what looked like dirty footprints in the tub The bedding was clean but the bedspreads were well-worn and past their life The check in was fast but there wasn’t a drop of “friendly” from the guy I did like the parking lot layout as we were able to park directly in front of our door and the space was huge, almost double sized The hanging flower baskets were pretty and brought a nice feeling to a place that’s in a sketchy part of town In the room there was an ad for food delivery, but when I scanned the QR code for info, I was surprised to see that the service doesn’t deliver to that particular property But, as others seemed to point out, we only had to sleep there For the price and reviews, though, I expected a little more

A really nice and comfortable place to stay in Ashland, Oregon Minutes from the beautiful Downtown area, a Food Co-Op, the Shakespeare Festival, a HotSprings Spa, the gorgeous Lithia Park, and the best restaurants and shopping in all of Southern OregonMatt (the manger) is welcoming, and friendly and keeps the place well stocked with exotic teas, coffees and spices for everyone to use

I especially enjoyed congregating in the massive kitchen to make meals and to meet new friends Nightly rates are affordable, and you can choose between common area bunks and private roomsI had an incredible time here and I highly recommended this The Ashland Commons to anyone! Thanks again Matt, Candy, and Chris

Not entirely sure how this hotel has a 43 star rating on google The entire hotel smells terrible

The rooms smell terrible The do not accommodate young infants in need of a safe and comfortable place to sleep Pack-N-Plays, although considered “safe”, are not the same as cribsPhillis at the front desk is very kind and tried her very best to help accommodate us We understand the infant accommodations and smell are out of her controlDefinitely not a good place for young children if you care about them crawling around without concerns for cleanlinessMarriott should have better standards

S Wagner

Bethany was awesome After a long drive we stopped here and she made an amazing old fashioned! Also- despite the fact that the bar bites was closing in less than 10 minutes- she had no attitude about me ordering food to go Also- she stayed open later because firefighters were arriving to help with the wildfires and wanted food too! The front desk team was kind, rooms were clean, and the service was impeccable

Cheers to the manager of this property!

The decor was a bit dated But the room was very large Had very comfortable beds and two types of pillows on the bed

Firm or soft Our room had a nice table and chairs for our in room meals The continental breakfast was very good and had a variety of hot and cold food options They offered small paper bags for us to pack our meal and take it back to our room The in house restaurant had food and the flavors were spot on

Great check-in service, had a upstairs room, but I was having outpatient procedure the next day and knew I couldn’t climb the stairs after my procedure The gal at the front desk was more than happy to accommodate me with a lower level room Room was nice and clean! Everything you need is there, microwave, refrigerator, TV, mini coffee maker, blow dryer, mini toiletries, iron and ironing board

They offer a great breakfast/brunch until 10 am A wonderful hot tub Check out was just as friendly I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for a great stay!

The girls at the front desk Taylor, Nicole, and Monique were friendly, efficient, helpful, and provided excellent customer service! Also, Tony the manager was very accommodating during our stay at best western! I want to give a shout out to Jaunita, she was the best! Always asking if I needed anything, (my favorite house keeper) always friendly and did a thorough job, she deserves a raise Breakfast was good, pet friendly, and clean There’s a huge dog park across the street, and stores walking distance

Stayed here recently for a few nights on the eclipse weekendWe were called on the way in by the front desk just as a courtesy to let us know that our room was ready When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was cheerful and got us checked in quickly and answered some questions we had about the area

The room was clean This is an older hotel, but the room didn’t feel completely run down or neglected at all There’s an ac, a small fridge, a microwave and coffee pot in the room The bed was comfortable and it was really nice to be able to park right in front of our room It’s a short distance from downtown Ashland and honestly you can’t beat their price Our coffee pot broke during our visit, just wouldn’t brew coffee, and when we returned to our room later that day it had been replaced This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but, it’s well priced and exceeds any expectation we had for how low cost it was To be honest I was a little worried at first, but after arriving and actually getting in the room I was pleased with my decision Thank you Manor Hotel!

Jay Chalmers

Very nice hidden oasis of relaxation Tucked away from the busy congestion of Downtown ashland, but close enough to still enjoy the attractions The room was spotless and welcoming

An amazing value for the money All starts with the friendly front desk and finishes with a comfortable night sleep Highly recommended for a night stay or a weekend trip Dog friendly which is important for our travels Do yourself a favor and check this place out

This place was excellent! It was very clean and well maintained The only thing I would change is the carpet in the rooms (rip it out and put laminate down) and only because it’s much cleanerStaff is friendly and check in was quick and easy

Beds were comfy and everything worked (cooler, fridge, shower, TV/remote) Pool looked great, though it’s fire season and we didn’t use it due to ash and smoke, and the on-site gym was clean and had good equipment Parking was easy and safe We’ll definitely stay again

PeterSu Copley

I love this Best Western! It is perfectly located close to the highway without the highway sounds The rooms are clean and don’t smell like chemicals Plenty of space in the rooms and bathrooms and there is a large swimming pool outside with a12 person hot tub

The free breakfast is open from 6:30-9:30 and has an abundance of choices The desk help were very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be staying here again

Jessica Merczak

Pet-friendly with shockingly nice grounds and plenty of outdoor seating Rooms have basic necessities despite being small Bathroom design is one I personally really dislike, where there is no sink with the toilet, and instead has a separate sink

Beds were squeaky, but not uncomfortable in a way that won’t let you sleep Rooms don’t have much in the way of sound proofing, but thankfully the neighbors weren’t loudPros: decent location, able to bring your dog, nice grounds, friendly staff, clean rooms, comes with breakfastCons: priced like a hotel A nice motel, but still a motel

We had the best two night stay at the TouVelle House James and Kristin were wonderful hosts, and we felt right at home The hotel is walkable to everything in Jacksonville (the cutest small town!), and they have bikes to borrow to get to the nearby wineries

The pool was a great set up, with lots of chairs and space The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable The BEST part of the visit was the breakfast James cooked up such a wonderful spread that was different each morning It was really a great touch to our stay Highly recommend visiting TouVelle House!

Thecrazychic72

Such a wonderful experience, a beautiful house, and incredible breakfast! James is an amazing chef and you won’t believe the yummy food he makes every morning! The house is breath taking, the room was cute and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up! The town of Jacksonville is adorable and so welcoming Everyone is so nice, and the town is like a blast from the past We will most definitely be back, we are extremely happy with our stay 😊

Vaia Potter

Slept like a baby! Upon entering this beautiful historic house, I was immediately transported to another time and was greeted with a lovely tour There were fabric walls in my room and an extremely comfortable bed with down pillow top and pillows and fine linens making a very cozy room It was very quiet and I slept like a baby

Woke up and dipped in the hot tub, then enjoyed the hot sauna and cold dipped in the pool to make the experience officially spa like There was always coffee and treats available One of the owners James made me breakfast at my desired time and it was a delicious egg souffle! Looking out the big window in the dining area watching deer and having nice conversation with other guests over coffee and breakfast was extremely pleasant I loved my stay and so did my sweet pup companion who was very welcomed I’m so happy what a treat! Highly recommend

Very nice and spacious room at a reasonable price The breakfast (microwavable egg + cheese + ham on an English muffin) was fine, but you had to get it from the front desk, and we went down to get it 3 or 4 times and there was nobody there Lots of guests milling about just like us

Suggest making it easier for guests to get the breakfast

Front desk staff was great! The room was not, the bed sheets had stains and made me itchThere was a hole in the ceiling above the shower, and someone slid my receipt under my door at 5 am waking me upI did not feel comfortable staying, and would have left after checking in if not for the weather

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but the place was very clean The front desk gal was very friendly and made the process easy Plus the rooms are very affordable

The only con I noticed as soon as we walked in is that the mirror was broken on the edge and is very sharp, so that should have been replaced before they rented out the room

Shauna R

Great experience Was skeptical of the name and part of town Front desk lady very nice

The bed was comfortable, it looked and smelled clean The water was HOT filled the jacuzzi HOT 🙌Price for what you get is reasonableFew things which are not a problem but also worth mentioning There were a lot of dead ants You can tell it’s not from being dirty, maybe just the area of town The faucet on the jacuzzis is loose and the back of the remote is missing The tv kept losing signal (but there is an active wildfire so maybe that’s why) you can see daylight around the whole front doorJust minor things that can be fixed easily but price for the jacuzzi room was decent

I didn’t take any pictures, but the place is super nice It’s not a new hotel, but they’ve put in a ton of effort to keep the place looking great Very clean

Friendly staff We stayed in a suite, so there was a kitchenette, full fridge, tiny cooking range Lots of outlets Comfy beds Lots of seating The parking lot was very well lit Close to several restaurants, Costco, & a grocery store Nothing within walking distance, but 6 mins by car Grub hub delivers and there are snacks for purchase in the hotel And a great price We’ll definitely stay there again

Mike Nabers

Watch out when calling national number about park and fly My wife and I double confirmed that the rate we paid included park and fly for our trip This is standard practice for us as we fly often out of Medford airport and never had this problem at other hotels

Beware if you book park and fly online with “included” rate, it will cost you an extra $30 once you arrive

We got in late around midnight on our stay, and after a VERY long day on the road, we came to this hotel that we booked as a last resort and a 45 minute detour off our track because everything in grants pass was already booked up

Front desk staff was quick to get our keys and give directions to our room, which was on the other side of the property Upon reaching the room- we found the basics, which were to be expected of this level hotel The room did have a funny smell to it, not really pleasant, more like they were trying to cover up some OTHER smells, but we were too tired to complain and ask for another room It was clean enough, it was quiet enough, and thank goodness for the blackout curtains The bed and pillows could be better as well but they weren’t badOverall I guess you get what you pay for with this place It’s no vacation destination, and you’ll still find something wrong with it even if it’s midnight and you’re exhausted, but it will get you by

What a jewel!! The attention to detail is a reflection of the attentive staff From delicious locally roasted coffees and mid century furnishings everything was well thought out for an extremely cozy stay The Gardens were beautiful and our dog felt like royalty, with her own bed and treats on her pillow

We have been traveling for three week and the Palms was the first hotel I can truly say I would recommend and enjoyed We changed our reservation and stayed an extra night The room was clean and not overly perfumedI highly recommend staying at the Palms!

Easy sweet place! Spotless with the nicest touches of great soap, moisturizer The bed and pillows perfect for a great night’s sleep The Palm is small with individual units but they also offer a house for a bigger group or just more space

Their pool area is wonderful too Cabanas for the day if you want one! Staff is fantastic and ready to help Beautiful grounds, lovely experience at The Palm

Farmers for Truth (Big Al)

This motel is small but definitely awesome for a nice getaway weekend The rooms were nice and clean but on the older side The room key was an actual key with Keychain which I truly love because your phone won’t erase an actual key like it does the key cards

The office upon check in had a pleasant freshly brewed coffee smell which was delightful Check in was fast This motel is right by a Great American Pizza company which was super delicious and I highly recommend Back to the room the bed was super soft I prefer firm but I slept well Room windows open and that’s a plus to have a nice breeze come through Only issue was the ac in room 206 was weak That is my only complaint about our stay Friendly staff They also do a basic breakfast with coffee fruit and English muffins Definitely a quite place to stay Great surroundings with other restaurants, stores and accommodations close by I highly recommend Timbers Motel

Seeker of The Dragons

So back in August I took a long road trip on my own for the first time from California to Washington State When getting to the Motel, I found out I had forgotten my ID at home The owner helped me with that situation and got me into the room

After that I had decided to park my car closer to my room, my right front passenger tire exploded, this happened at 12am I didn’t want to worry about it because it was late Found out I had also forgotten my power box for my phone, and one of the folks who was staying let me borrow his power bank for the night The following morning, which I’m still grateful for all their help The owner and his employee helped me change to my spare and his employee called several different locations for me to find the cheapest option for a new tire I’m not sure if y’all see this review or remember me but I thank you to the bottom of my heart for your kindness and care Truly- Christian S
