SIX MONTHS I gave this hotel in advance to get it right I had booked a hotel for 2 guests, my treat to stay at this location for a concert at Shoreline While booking the hotel I asked what was needed so my guests would have zero costs accrued to them checking in or out

I was told to send back a form authorizing all charges as well as my ID and front and back of credit card to 1 Hold the room 2 Hold for incidentals 3 Charge the room upon check out Easy enough right? I guess not I checked in with this hotel THREE TIMES in order to ask if they needed anything else from me I kept being assured it was fine Well what would you know my guests were charged the $220 upon checkout which is double upsetting because they never should have been asked for a card in the first place How embarrassing when you are attempting to host a couple for a weekend out I am fuming mad, the hotel also looks great in the pictures and is barely hanging on to budget motel status in person I would give zero stars if I could

The room was clean and beautiful The grounds are beautiful We had a king bed that was more of a queen

It is a Murphy bed The walls are extremely thin You can hear every noise upstairs and next-door Also if you’re on the first floor by the lobby you hear every one coming and going This is a solid place to stay if you are not a light sleeper Also their key maker wasn’t working so evey time we entered they had to open our door

Jason Matsumoto

It’s a decent little hotel, but the photos and marketing are a bit misleading, in my opinion It tries to sell itself as an upscale, boutique hotel with the website and photos showing the admittedly very nice grounds and common areas However, the actual rooms are not that nice, you can hear everything through the thin walls, and one of the 3 staff we interacted with wasn’t all that friendly (though the other two were extremely friendly and professional)

On the plus side, there’s a nice trail directly adjacent to the property, they have bikes that can be borrowed, and the prices are good We still checked out after the first night due to the noise

High quality apartments in the proximity of downtown mountain view The best thing about these apartments is the location It is near downtown and infront of caltrain station

The rooms are decently sized and build quality is moderate Amenities like gym, pool, and rooftop fireplace are great add-ons Overall a quiet place to be at The lighting and ventilation is not that great However central AC solves a bit for ventilation The locality makes for a great morning walk

Serena Li

We moved here recently and we really enjoy living here Location is great as it is super close to Downtown Mountain View with lots of restaurants Caltrain is just across the street which can be a little noisy but our kids love watching the train so we purposely picked a unit facing the train track!! And I cannot say enough about Justin who works at the leasing office

He has made this move that extra easier!! He is super patient and attentive Any questions you have, he is the man you can count on Thanks Justin!!

Luke Donegan

My partner and I moved in yesterday and from start to finish the experience was remarkable When we toured the property a week ago, Justin was knowledgeable and courteous We didn’t even have an appointment and Justin’s schedule appeared full with other tours, and yet he took the time to answer questions and to provide us a tour in between scheduled viewings

Justin also went out of his way to help us with paperwork and to ensure we got into the proper apartmentThe day of move-in we were helped by Ashlyn, who was also exceedingly helpful and kind The move-in process could not have been smootherLastly, our apartment is wonderful The appliances are all up-graded and the space boasts exceedingly nice flooring and carpet And despite being directly across from the train the sounds are quite muted Our apartment affords lovely views of trees and of the quiet, beautiful Mountain View neighborhood it’s positioned in We’re blocks from some of the best dining in the city as well I’d highly recommend this complex to anyone

This was a great experience! I stayed here because there was a conference in town and all the downtown SJ hotels were taken This was a great alternative! The room was very comfortable and the service from the host is very warm and inviting I had a great breakfast in the backyard patio and met a few other great people during breakfast

You also get access to cookies, port wine and other snacks/beverages whenever you’d like I highly recommend this B&B! I will certainly be back!

Jennifer Kinsella

Madison Street Inn was lovely and the perfect choice for our weekend moving in our daughter to Santa Clara University What could’ve been an ordinary stay at a hotel became a special weekend getaway for my husband and meWe loved the welcome chocolate chip cookies and port, and the B&B charm! The pool and hot tub were a bonus and it was beautiful being served breakfast outside on the patio

We plan to come back every time we visit our daughter at school

Genia Anderson

Our first stay here and it was lovely Breakfast was to die for Danielle was gracious and accommodating

We enjoyed chatting with the other guests over breakfast The only thing I would mention is that the gal cleaning starting vacuuming while guests were still seated in dining room We will certainly try to stay here again the next time we are in town

Customer service was excellent Speedy check in and gave me the option to pick my room which was cool The room was simple but not complaining

The only downside were the pillows, they were uncomfortable to sleep on but made it work The light underneath the door is distracting a bit during the early morning and makes it difficult to sleep in Lastly, you can hear everything outside the door when people walked by or talked which again, was not the greatest in the early morning Yes, the planes fly over the hotel but it didnt bother me but FYI for others Overall, not bad for an overnight stay

Geoff Geise

Spent a few nights as part of a business trip The hotel appears to be renovated and still has some of the old-school motel feel to it The bed was very comfortable, and the room amenities are great

The bathroom (particularly tub/shower area) could benefit from a re-do of the tile and/or lighting fixtures, but the room was clean and everything worked The staff were very friendly, and it was clear that the hotel is trying to provide great service to the guests The fitness center was one of the better fitness centers I have seen among comparable hotels The happy hour options / hours during the week were great The cost feels high for what you get (relative to many other parts of the country), but the location is very good if you need to be in the heart of silicon valley

David

Ok at best The staff was super nice, welcoming, and helpful The hotel itself is old with a thin and cracking coat of paint to make it look nicer

Unfortunately, it needs a much deeper renovation before I’d consider coming backThe rooms are a decent sizeThe bed is basic, firm with ok sheetsThe bathroom is dated and falling apartThe location is good for Great America and Levi stadium, but there are very few restaurants near byThe elevator felt like it was going to collapse with me in it, but thankfully there are stairs

Our room was so clean and decorative I really was impressed and we enjoyed our stay so much My husband thought the mattress was so good for his back and he slept so well

Breakfast was so delicious and so many things to choose from Waffles were the best!Just can’t say enough complimentary comments about this hotel and our stayAlso, the front desk was helpful and very nice Anyone with any doubts about where to stay… this is the place!!Next baseball tournament we will definitely suggest Comfort Inn Sunnyvale to all the parents😊

Patrice Michelle

No shower curtain (wth) and the room telephone doesn’t work to call the front desk

looks like I’ll be taking baths the next 2 nights 😕😕*update: couldn’t take a bath as the drain was loose & not completely attached to the tub, so i went to the front desk & was told I had to wait 30 minutes until they finished lunch for someone to bring a shower curtain I was able to obtain a half day rate as I needed a 330pm check out, so that’s a positive

Enoch Moeller

On the plus side, location and price are good If you’re looking for something fancy or well maintained, this may not be the best choice for you Parking is free, but challenging (lots of large trucks parked there)

This is a relatively inexpensive lodging option close to a number of tech companies It tends to have a lot of construction traffic and some longer-term residents

I was able to reach customer service quickly with just, a call, text or online chat Representatives were so personable and made us feel like we were special Rooms were clean, good snacks in the vending machines which also had deodorant and other toiletries in case you forgot yours at home

Virtual check in was seamless and we received our codes via email, online and text so we couldn’t miss it! I had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again, rooms are very affordable and close to Santana Row and other shopping centers

Bonnie Munson, MS, IDS

Great room Super clean, comfortable and attractive There is no visible “service” and no one to call if something is needed; the welcome host on video talking to us in the lobby was a little odd

We had all the instructions texted to us ahead of time However, there were some really nice hospitality touches, like cookies and water when we arrived in our room, an incredible coffee selection for the Keurig, and table games put out in the evening in the common area All amenities we could have asked for were provided Really a great experience if you don’t need human contact!

Adam Nelms

Have to give LOTS of info for VIRTUAL check in, but they make the process easy and straight forward Didn’t see a worker the entire time we where there Code to get it main door, same code for room

They had a cool little game room, sitting area but the room and hallways were way too hot, area needed AC on Very clean Biggest complaint was its on a VERY busy main road so there is road noise most of the night, they the provided ear plugs is a nice touch Public coffee machine in the lobby was cool, but most flavors and options were out

I got a very nice/ clean room, comfortable bed, very hygiene room, smelling good, very convenient microwave/ small refrigerator Is good service for the price, I been staying in another places and I couldn’t find the same service from the front desk/room as I received from April and the other representative I recommend to stay in this place, if you want a clean and comfortable bed to rest, because here everything is free of smoke

If you request not 🚭 smoking room,is what you got I been staying in other places and I have requested every time not smoking, and always have received dirty and smelling bad roomI have reviewed some comments for travel inn negative, but I have experienced differentThank you for your friendly services

Celeste Drake

Overall a very pleasant stay The lady April helped me check in and out and was super nice Room was clean and smelled great

You can tell its an older building so things are worn but everything worked and was clean Bed was extremely comfortable for a hotel bed Downside was no continental breakfast, whole lobby is locked down and all business is done thru small overnight window

Shauna Mundt

Staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfy It’s on a main street so can be a little noisy but the location is conveniently located to gas stations, restaurants, The highway, and Shoreline Ampitheatre My only complaint is the teeny tiny bath towels, they don’t cover much and are pretty thin

Got ur money this place is a great deal!

I would say nice place, the front desk folks are very nice and welcomingHowever, it is a very old hotel and it shows! Most of the amenities are old, and so personally for the money I feel this place is not worth it Also they stopped breakfast, citing covid but it was never mentioned during booking which is one of the things I considered during booking

Location is pretty good though, walking distance to a halal restaurant was one of the best things

湾区美食探店-崔同学

Very, very poor check-in experience, the Indian man at the front desk has a very poor attitude, rude, at least no greeting, no response to saying thank you, and the first day of check-in by sending a message to the hotel to respond to the air-conditioned room The air conditioner is very loud, very noisy, and there is no reply Until now, there has been no reply The ladies have excellent service

This is a three-star hotel I didn’t expect the men’s service that night to be so bad hotel
