It was a nice motel for the most part a continental breakfast was extremely good it was pretty much basically a full breakfast with eggs sausage and sausage and biscuits and pastries and toast and on and on and on The rooms were clean but my room did have a smell to it but I could not figure out what it was But all in all it was a good stay

Lisa Kite

I was here four years ago and was very impressed The rooms were newly remodeled, clean, and very niceThis time around wasn’t as great

The breakfast has plenty of options and I’m always happy to see carbon monoxide detectors The floor was very clean and in great shape However, the shower seams were full of mold, the toilet tank was leaking on the floor, the sheets were stained, and apparently toilet paper is an acceptable fix for a hole in the wall I’m hoping maybe it’s just this one room with issues as I’d hate to see a place go downhill so fast

Pamela Miller

When we walked into our room, we immediately noticed the strong odor of stale smoke Not something that should have happened in a 100% smoke-free motel I’m also very glad that we did not stay in the winter time, because there was no seal around the door and it would have made for a very drafty place to stay in cold weather

We definitely will not be staying here next time we’re in town

Stopped on our way from NY to Tennessee to get a few hours rest The staff was AMAZING from the minute we checked in until we checked out Beds were comfy, room was clean & perfectly located for us to take our little dog outside

Highly recommend & if we ever need to stop for some rest again while traveling through Ohio, hands down we will stay at the Country Inn & Suites!

Stayed at the Hotel for a business event When I checked in I went to hand the front desk my tax exempt form and the gentleman told me they did not need a copy of it I then went to my room and when I went to use the restroom there was a massive water damage leak that look like it was about to burst in any minute

The rooms are extremely small and definitely did not have any renovations done on them when the building was updated As well I was on the first floor where someone could have walked up to my window and seen completely in my room if the blinds weren’t kept shut When I went to check out, they had not removed the taxes I then went and gave them another tax exempt form and ask them to email me the updated receipt When I received the email they had charged me twice for state tax instead of removing it I then had to return to the hotel after my event and wait an hour for them to get my receipt correct While I understand it was not one soul person, and some situations cannot be controlled, this was not the full case with everything that happened to me Especially for not having any real breakfast except for grab and go items, this hotel is not worth the money or the difficulties

Tori Foltz

The hotel was incredibly easy to find from the interstate, and we weren’t expecting a Waffle House in the same parking lot so that was an added bonus Came up last weekend for a concert and only stayed for one night and got a late checkoutThe people working check-in Saturday were doing an awesome job despite being busy

We didn’t get up in time for breakfast, but right now it’s grab and go because they are short staffed (which I can completely understand!) so just keep that in mind when you’re looking to book

Best breakfast!!We chose this hotel based on two things: the reviews about breakfast and the proximity to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter This hotel was not only excellent in exceeding expectations in BOTH of those areas, it also provided wonderful friendly hospitality, a clean/comfortable room and excellent service! WOW!!!! These people REALLY care! Now I only got the names of the sweet ladies taking care of our breakfast but everyone was kind! Cathy kept refilling the breakfast items in a friendly and timely manner! When I asked if they had any hot chocolate packets, she gladly found some, handed me some and restocked for other guests! I didn’t get a chance to talk with Candy who was also working alongside Cathy at breakfast but she was busy cleaning tables for more guests as previous eaters would leave The cinnamon rolls were SO DELICIOUS! And everything tasted great! After staying here, we chose only to stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels for the next two nights on our way home (vacation)

Cathy made a fan of this hotel chain out of me and my family of 7! Give her a bonus! Thank you staff for making us feel so welcome and truly cared for and providing extra towels and water for our family!

Good location from both the Ark and the Creation Museum Beds were comfortable and room was nice Housekeeping did a good job on the day they cleaned

Breakfast was typical, but varied a little each day Some items were very good They had fresh cooked oatmeal and whole fruit along with bread, hot eggs, etc First time that I’ve ever seen an automatic pancake maker Staff were nice Ate at 2 restaurants nearby and both were good, though there’s not a ton of variety close by(Indoor) hot tub still wasn’t open which was very disappointing since we walked a lot on this trip Hotel rooms are not soundproof enough At least one school group stayed in this hotel – we ran into them at the Ark One particular room was very noisy and woke us at 6:30 (one floor up and 2 rooms over) Part of the problem is that the arms on the doors need to be regulated – all the doors slammed We did speak to the front desk clerk and the noise got a little better (they stopped doing gymnastics, but were closing the door a lot) The only other issue is that while we were given a late check-out, the computer took away access It’s very hard to load luggage when you can’t get back in the room This is easily fixable by the chain’s IT department and it happens frequently

Bonnie Kolb

We stayed here one night as we passed through on our drive to Michigan The room was inviting, and comfortable The pillows were great and there was an indoor pool that was clean and well kept

The staff seemed to be nice, but did not interact with me They could definitely smile more There were a few eateries, gas stations, and even a car wash The construction was a nuisance, but I’m from Nashville, TN and am used to confusion because of construction 🤣 overall, it was a nice place for a one to two night accommodation

Did you ever contact Taylor about the hotel was in this repair The elevator did not work properly It was very warm in the hotel as well

When we got into our room it was about 90° I went down to the front desk and they said they turned the air off in housekeeping when they clean the rooms and the guest turn it on when they arrive It was a sweet with only a unit in the bedroom There was a fan up in the ceiling to carry the cool air out to the living area but it did not work efficiently and it never did cool down The police were called in a hotel when my husband was down getting towels at the front desk Common areas were not clean The room was not that clean either There were only 2 towels in a room for four people Almost half of the light bulbs in the room were burned out or missing It appeared that they were trying to save money at every turn and definitely at the guest expense Pot could be spelled throughout the hotel I honestly do not know how it has this star rating or the customer satisfaction rating that it has We were highly disappointed!

Seema Khan

We just needed a place to crash for a few hours of sleep on our road trip Price is good, staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable when we showed up at 4am with kids in tow The beds were comfortable and was exactly what we needed before getting back on the road but the place itself really needs some updating

Carpets were really sticky and there was lots of gross hair coming up out of the clogged drain in the tub so we weren’t able to shower Also the door handle just came right off when we were trying to leave

Arun Kumar Samuel

Bath tub and wash basin do not drain quickly water quicklyRooms are not clean, but bed is fineBreakfast not supplied as per booking

SO SO PLEASED! We booked this hotel to be close to the Reading Bridal District, it was a 10 minute drive and so easy to get to! When we arrived Friday evening the man working the front desk was like a cheerleader in all of the best ways! He was energetic, polite, professional, conversational, check in was effortless! Our room, king with sofa bed, was also very clean and spacious My mom and I were so pleased with every aspect of the room – including the bathroom lighting and an exhaust fan! Breakfast was good, the attendant was friendly and continually wiped surfaces down while we were there Check out was quick and friendly as well! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati-Blue Ash during a tour of this area for four nights in August We could not have picked a better hotel The staff was excellent – every member went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed

Our group has been traveling for over twenty years and this is the most accommodating of any lodging we stayed at The hotel itself was very clean – both the individual rooms and the common areas Our group had previously been on a trip to Northern Michigan where the hotel was lacking and the continental breakfast was poor The forty+ people in our group had nothing but good things to say about the breakfast at the Wingate We would certainly stay at this location if we were in the area again and can only hope that future trips have lodging comparable to this Thank you Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati-Blue Ash!

Just Me

The room was extremely disappointing for the amount of money we paid Updates desperately needed…!! Older, with a stench as wellThe service at the front desk was the only positive part of our hotel experience

Staff was pleasant and helpful during our one-night stayWe did reach out to the hotel following our stay to address our concerns and we heard nothing back

If you want to go to the creation museum, the ark encounter, and snow tubing this is a great place to stay The hotel is nice, the breakfast is great as well as the sweet attendant The meeting room was very accommodating for our large group

The staff were fantastic The beds were comfortable Ms Jackie, the manager worked well with our large group and understood our needs and met them Above and beyond Our youth group really enjoyed the indoor pool

We stayed May 21-25 We had two attractions to visit in northern Kentucky and were looking for a hotel in between them We searched the CVG airport area and found this one

We’d traveled so little in he last few years I forgot we were Wyndham members! I’m glad I remembered, as booking directly with the hotel and taking the member discount was the best deal The pricing was competitive with other hotels and – most importantly – reviews were consistently positive We were not disappointed The staff were all very friendly, and the room was nice We had the king bed room, and it was very roomy Plenty of space and extra chairs The desk had a lot of tabletop space The bathroom was clean and functional Great shower head! Hot breakfast every day, decent enough and helps save on meals expenses TONS of shopping and restaurants are within 5 miles of the hotel Our room faced the freeway but noise was never a problem Great hotel and if we return to the area and they are still there we will almost certainly come back

David Lugo

From the second we came into the front door until the day we left we had excellent service The Ladies during all shifts were amazing and very friendly, and I can’t forget about the cleaning people and maintenance people The room and hotel was very clean and maintenance was on point

this hotel is great if you’re going to Creation museum or Noah’s Ark From the creation museum it’s about 15 minutes from Noah’s Ark It’s about 30 minutes We didn’t get time to go in the pool but from what we seen alot of people was having fun in it would recommend this place for family or couples

Friendly front desk employees checking in We needed a pillow case for an extra pillow in the closet and they were quick to bring one The mattress appeared new and was comfortable

There were some brown stains on the curtain and the shower curtain appeared to not have been washed, but I know stains happen, so I didn’t take stars away for itBeautiful lobby and decent pool size A restaurant on site is nice, too All in all a great experience

Ben Paxson

Service was fine (folks behind the counter are friendly and doing the best they can) considering the labor shortage, however the cleanliness standards at this hotel are pretty low In my room, lots of dirt, dust, hair, and food scraps around the edges of and behind the furniture, even under the coffee table Stains all over the wall too, and trash all over behind the bedside table

Besides the cleanliness issues, the hotel is in big need of refurbishment Was state of the art perhaps in the 80’s and 90’s, but that was a long time agoSome positives- the wifi is decently fast and reliable, and the bed is passable (lots of fluffy pillows) Showers have good water pressure and plenty of hot water

chelsea winn

My fiancé and I recently stayed in your hotel, we ate breakfast in the restaurant every morningIt wasn’t the food that kept us coming back (however it was delicious) but our waitresses Elaine and Carolyn were fantastic They’re so adorable, friendly, and kind

They both remembered us from last year too! That made my dayWe never ran out of utensils and always had our drinks at the table before we could even sit down We contemplated staying at a closer hotel next year but decided not to just so we could see our breakfast ladies again! If you’re staying at the Holiday Inn, make sure you grab some breakfast!

For a room this expensive I was very disappointed when the vents to the ac/heat unit had hair, dust and food crumbs all over it There wasn’t any conditioner in the shower container The worst was how loud this place was

Paper thin walls and ceilings I honestly thought construction was going on in the room above me Room was also very small The fixtures on the shower door didn’t fit so they moved all around and the shower leaked water on the floor Breakfast was standard Bed was comfortable and so we’re the pillows The coffee was awful They seemed to have spent their budget on colorful walls and the lounge Which filled up at night with adults filling ice buckets with alcohol and drinking and caring on half the night Weird since it’s a hotel and not a bar Surrounding the hotel is trash, old carpet, broken glass and cigarette butts Pool was small Front desk people never smiled I would never stay here again, especially for the price

Laura Jeronimo

The rooms were clean and the king bed was very large They also had a large shower The continental breakfast had eggs, pancakes, fruit, bagels, etc

There’s a lot of amenities on site, including a pool, a small gym, and a laundry room I used the pool with my 5 year old daughter and it was a good size for her Overall I was really happy with the stay

Chris Kurth

We stayed here for a trip to Kings Island The hotel is very clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was pretty good for a continental breakfast The room was quiet and the beds/pillows were comfy

I am glad we chose this hotel because we needed a good night’s rest for a long, fun-filled day at Kings Island There were cheaper and closer options but this one was a short 20-minute commute and well worth the extra $20 – $30 dollars we spent

Great! Stayed in a tent, very clean campground, great facilities, easy check in, plenty of hiking trails, and I’m pretty sure the camp-store has ice cream!! I went on my spring break in late march, very quiet, I was one of the only ones at a tent site Can’t wait to return! The wifi also worked great, no issues, perfect for the handful of times it rained during my stay!

McVey Family

Over $50 for a city/state park isn’t all that great The road leading to the CG from the east side was shut down, making us drive through a small neighborhood with narrow streets and low power lines We made it through then drove all the way around and entered through the other side just fine

This is a gated CG with an entry box for the park itself, than another key code gated area for the CG itself It was hot as heck and thankfully, we had no power or utility issues No shade covered in the large spots at the front of the park which can be a blessing and a curse depending on how you look at it Lake/Pond is over fished and the CG looked tiredWe stayed here to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter This CG is about 25 minutes from the Creation Museum and approx 1 hour from the Ark Encounter Several “Ok” fishing area’s around this CG and about 15 minutes to better shopping/dining options We were only here for a couple nights

Adrian Riley

Stayed in electric site 34 Easy to park and had ample space for what we needed Trees were there to put up a hammock

But soggy behind our site but it had rained before we arrived Super cute camp store with affordable ice cream, coffee, and snacks Fire wood was a bit costly, but you can find people nearby selling for cheap Loved the hiking trails Wind sounds cool whipping through the treetops Bath house was clean and very useable Water was a cinch to fill up before parking Spots by 12R and across from 38 to fill up

The entrance was clean, the Desk Clerk greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome The professionalism shown by the staff was impressive The room was clean and possessed the facilities needed for my stay

I enjoyed the quietness in the hotel My only pet peeve was the television’s size and the difficulty adjusting the picture That’s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5

3 couples including myself stayed 2 nights at this location Upon arrival the mood in the air was staunch , by observation learned there had been a riff between employees, it aftereffect still hanging The lobby floors were muddy and trash bag in floor by elevator on 3rd floor

Mops in corners, brooms here and there randomThe manager and staff with( exception of the 2 that were cleaning rooms) were very rude lacking PR skills to say the least The second day, the coffee was empty, I informed and said they would get some made After 15 minutes waiting I went to door of kitchen to ask if was soon to come out The employee looked as me with much disgust and angry face loudly blurted out “ it’s coming” I said you need to not be getting angry for a simple question! She then used different tone This was last straw for me of enduring the negative attitude of this facility , and I spoke out to both kitchen staff and went to manager also and told Mgr they greatly need to work on the friendliness to customers, respect the customers that give respect I personally retired from retail and social work and always treated my customers kind and respectful I expect the same in return This is first time in 40 years I have stayed at a Holiday Inn that was ran so unprofessionally On the positive note, the rooms were very clean, beds were great I’m sending this to inform Corp that to assure return customers they need a corrective action plan setup I certainly will not return to this location

We just spent three nights at the Inn of Hyde Park and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our choice of accommodations! Jen and JD were AWESOME hosts and they made sure everything was perfect! It was very comfortable, relaxing and the amenities were first class! It was an easy walking distance to Hyde Park and several restaurants It also offered easy access to interstate and parking was plentiful! The neighborhood was also very nice and quiet We would definitely stay there again and in fact, it will be our first choice when we return to Cincinnati so I can highly recommend it to others! Dennis

The owners are very warm and friendly, they gave us a wonderful two night stay with our two young children Jennifer prepares a delicious breakfast with everything you could need (eggs, fruit, bread, bacon, tea, coffee, etc) Since the owners live next door, we basically had the whole house to ourselves, but they are very accessible if needed

The house was fully renovated recently and was done very well The inn is located in a safe, walkable neighborhood near many restaurants and stores It’s an ideal location near downtown and other attractions and easy to access from I-71 We look forward to staying here again
