Stayed here today for a day use had a virtual meeting The front desk attendant was lovely and responsive Breakfast was also very nice

I tried to call and see if I could stay one more hour- I would have paid extra- however the attendant at the front did not let me get any more words out and was rather dismissive Would appreciate next time, if they could let me finish my sentence It was fine if it was a no and I am quite capable of I understanding that Otherwise, very nice and would stay there again Clean!!

You’re greeted upon entry by a wholesome fresh smell throughout the lobby and hallways nicely matching up to the modern aesthetic first impression visually And the room did not disappoint either Generous sized, spotlessly clean, airy with a well laid out bathroom and a practical kitchenette

I absolutely have no complaints about the service as the staff were all friendly and always willing to help Breakfast is okay

David Rahbany

Service makes the difference hereWhile 5 stars is a bit of a stretch when evaluating the quality of the rooms and food (really more like a 3-4 star hotel) the staff at this hotel are FIVE STARS They have all been very polite and helpful, giving me more than I expect at each and every turn

What a difference nice people make to an experience Bravo Marriott, keep these people on your team

We recently attended a wedding reception at the Fox Hollows To our surprise this reception was nothing like the one we attended prior to CovidThe staff was inexperienced and service was poor

The cocktail hour room was so hot the ice cubes were melting as much as we were Long lines to get a drink or food from the stations due to the inexperienced servers The ladies room was a disaster, despite the attendant to seems to enjoy talking to another staff person outside of the bathroom instead of being inside and ensuring the guests weren’t the ones cleaning the stallsThe food quality has drastically changedOnce upon a time this was the reception hall for your dream wedding or event I know many families who held numerous events throughout their lifetimes there – a tradition of quality which now ceases to existThe wedding was lovely solely due to the abundance of love and joy for the couple The brides impeccable taste in flowers and special touches were magnificent, the music was wonderful and everyone danced the night away – while at the same time dodges the waiters who cut through the center do the dance floor, dropping a trail of dishes and glasses Simply unacceptableThere are many facilities of superior quality now consider for upcoming events The Fox Hollow will certainly not gain any business from the guests attending this weddingWords of wisdom- ask questions and get everything in writing and have someone checking that evening if all is as promised Otherwise, you will be greatly disappointed

It was very easy to book a room at a competitive price The hotel’s landscaping is beautiful and it was effortless to check in The room was very clean and the buffet had many palatable options that were refilled often

Room service was a bit slow but the food was very tastyI would book again!!

Giovanna Hinman

So let me say the 1 star rating is because of the service or lack there ofThe hotel is nice Clean

Room was a little small but comfortable Good areaI travel quite a bit I’m a good or platinum member for choice hotels, Hilton, Marriott etc… My connecting flight got cancelled and I had to drive in as opposed to fly I called to change the check in and yes I was past the 24 hour window, however I called at 7AM plenty of time to book out the roomThey refused to cancel or change the check in and charged me the room That’s fineThat’s their prerogative It’s just disappointing when I know they could have helped me out, and didn’t Other comfort inns and choice hotels honor those requests So do Hilton and MarriottThis was the first time in the last 3 years a hotel refused

JP Kelliher

Clean, affordable, and an amazing staff! We had to leave another high end hotel nearby because of mold in the room After a terrible night sleep and being desperate for a clean place to stay, the management at this Comfort Inn took us in early, and made sure we had a comfortable place to stayThe room was half the price of the high end hotel down the road, twice as clean, and way more comfortable

Thank you Jonathan and Dave for saving our weekend

Jerome Mabb

The manager was very helpful in every way during our 3 day stayThe breakfast was very good and the area was very cleanThe room was impeccably clean and the service was awesome

The covered parking area was handy being that we had freezing rain during our stayRestaurants and diners were pointed out by the manager and his picks were on pointHighly recommended!

I’ve stayed here numerous times and have never had an unpleasant experience staying here The rooms are clean, smell fresh and clean when you walk inI’d like to take this review and give praise to the housekeepers that work there

The rooms I’ve stayed in were all extremely clean, smelled clean, the beds are made up very nice and neat I notice your hard work and always leave a tip for you in the room when I check out Your hard work shows and it’s appreciated Thank you 🙂

DAVID HICKEY

This has to be the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at The carpets in the room were old and dirty Kept my shows on the entire time

The toilet bowl wasn’t even cleaned The room smelled like someone had been getting high The place is very old with furniture from the 70’s This place needs a major renovation If they were charging $25/night, it would have been to much Please stay away from this dirty Motel We only stayed to change before a wedding we were attending We ended up driving home after the wedding Do not Believe all of the other Reviews online If anyone is telling you this place is good don’t BELIEVE ITI’ve been traveling this country for 30 years on business and personal This just made it to the top of the Worst Motor Inn To Never Stay at

I booked a hotel block for my daughter’s wedding I dealt with Cathy and she was very knowledgeable and pleasant The problem was dealing with anyone else

They were uninformed or just yessed me and didn’t follow through I had approximately 80 guests booked for one or two days I called a couple of times asking how welcome bags would be distributed and was assured they had it under control I left a welcome bag for each guest of ours After hearing from the first arrivals that they did not receive their bags I called again to remind them Well, I just picked up the bins the bags were in and found approximately 60 bags still there I handmade many items in these bags, As well as purchasing other items, plus they included valuable shuttle information the guests needed I was very disappointed The amount of time and money I spent on these bags was mostly wasted It was totally unacceptable This lack of professionalism spanned many work shifts so I can’t blame it on one forgetful employee It was widespreadAlso, some guests said some rooms were very dated

We had a great stay at this location Kathie was super helpful in getting us great info to ride the rail into Penn Station and enjoyed a really fun evening in New York This hotel is located a short walk to the Massapequa Park LIRR station

Breakfast was great Overall value for the stay was great Safe neighborhood to stay We hope to return and explore more in the area when we have more time

RLD

I would never stay here again The staff is rude, the indoor swimming pool is always cold (stayed here in summer and in the fall), the room needs more lighting and in one room, the lock didn’t work In another room, the sink had issues, so it’s going to be one thing or another with your room

I didn’t have any issues with mold, but it’s scary that others are reporting that Don’t stay for the pool There are no towels there or in the small gym They really seem to not want you to use either of them

My second time staying there in the past month This spot has so much potential but they do not clean the rooms properly First time there was toe nail clippings on the floor, second time there was hair in the bathroom

They promptly came and cleaned when asked the first time but this should not happen! Second time, it was such a short stay, I didn’t have the time or energy to complain

A funeral led to my family and I staying at this hotel The staff went out of their way to accommodate us on this last minute over night trip They allowed us to check in extra early and held our bags while we attended the service

Coffee and hot drinks in the lobby was a nice touch especially as it was cold and rainy A very tough weekend was made a little better by the care and empathy shown Thank you

I was driving after long fly to the Hampton than I felt tried So I decided to stay for a night at this Hotel for the first I love it The interior is awesome clean an the staff offers and outstanding customer care

I love the price I paid $ 141 for the night for a walk in with no reservation what’s so ever I love and I will comeback I recommend this hotel to everybody

1) very strong smoke smell when I just opened the door But The room actually is non smoking room!2) duplicate charge for pet fee Called them asking for refund and they never pay me back!We booked 2 rooms for 2nights on November 2021

The policy says each pet is $25 per night We only have one dog stayed in one room so it’s $50, but they changed me extra $25 for no reason So I eventually paid $75 for pet fee I didn’t realized that until I saw the credit card statement Called them and the person said they can refund me on the credit card Now it is 7 months after, no one contact me and no refund to my accountThe nonsmoking room has super strong smoke smell and when I stepped in the window is opened ac is on fan is on It literally just like someone just smoked In the room one minute ago and left Front desk lady changed the room for me with no problem But I think it should not happened like this if it is NON SMOKING ROOM

Joyce Venezia Suss

This hotel is updated, beds are clean and comfortable, and front desk people are friendly BUT if you are handed a key to a ground floor room, REFUSE IT Our room had an overflowing humidifier and smelled musty, and our window faced the outdoor pool, with no privacy

Our children’s room across the hall was dark, blocked by shrubs next to the parking lot The pool crew was using a loud power washer on the deck while I was trying to rest before a wedding The front desk receptionist offered to try to get me a new room, but it was almost time to get ready so I refused Lesson to share: AVOID THE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS!

Went for dinner and drinks with work friends We were a group of 8 people Had called in advance for seating and the table was set and ready for us at the appointed time

They sat us right by the fish tank which is very pretty The waitress, Kathy, was excellent and courteous We all had the price fix meal which was great Appetizer, dinner and dessert It was spaced out perfectly, not rushed but not so long between courses for us to wonder where our food was This allowed us to enjoy our dinner and have nice conversation It was a great evening Everybody enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the service

I love this Residence Inn by Marriott! It is one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed and everyone was super niceWe had an event for our stay and the staff made it so memorable It was the perfect venue and our guests were blown away at how nice the hotel is

Nice hotel if you are in the area for an extended stay The rooms have all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay Enough TV channels to keep you entertained, free wired and wireless wifi that is fast enough for most of your needs

Free breakfast every morning with a good selection of things to eat and an awesome full free dinner from Monday to Thursday including beer and wineIt looks like a hotel from the 60’s/70’s by the decor, but it is really well maintained and charmingTwo pools and a really nice patio in the rear of hotel to make the most of your time here

My husband and I had to change hotels multiple times for our wedding Covid postponed it 4 times and it seemed like every date we got the hotel wasn’t able to accommodate our large group Holiday Inn took care of us and made sure that our guest and us were taken care of

They gave us space to be able to do hair and makeup and gave us the option to keep the bar open late! We had a BLAST and they were pleasant every step of the way! We had our wedding 8/14/21

Last time I stayed here the fire alarm went off every hour for 4 hours between 1am and 5am I ended up checking out earlyThe room is disgustingly dirty and nothing feels clean

The room originally given to me was preoccupied The second room the carpet felt dirty and had crumbs all over the placeThe bed was saggy and not comfortable at all It was by far the worst stay at a hotel I ever hadThe location to the highway is probably the best part of this hotel

Gene Melton

The rooms were nice and clean and appeared to be recently remodeled The staff at the desk were friendly and accommodating When I checked in I was told the hotel had not started serving breakfast yes because of the pandemic but the did serve lunch and dinner

The website said continental hot breakfast served Guess the owners are too cheap to serve breakfast and use the pandemic as an excuse The cons was the halls smelled like marijuana at any time of day I figure the staff were in their work areas smoking marijuana No matter what time I returned, always some shady characters sitting in the parking lot or outside the buildings I would watch them approach cars for about a minute and car would drive off Selling drugs? not sure but that seemed to be what was going on Never felt safe walking from the car to the front doors No one ever threatened me but I was watched real hard walking in I travel to the area on business Definitely will not stay their again and I would not recommend others to stay there especially if you are a lone woman or a family with kids
