Pretty gross Our room wasn’t cleaned before we checked in and the voicemail to contact the staff was full By the time we could get ahold of them, we had already assumed the staff’s tip to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves

Writing this review because management doesn’t seem interested in replying to the email I sent so I am happy to let others know they should not stay here

Charlotte Caddel

We had a couple issues (A/C not working, middle of mattress collapsed) but they were fixed fast by the staff (we would have been moved into another room if there was one available, apparently, which is nice) Overall, besides that, the stay was great Really nice apartment with two beds and a fold out couch, two bathrooms, and a washer and dryer

Nearby is Loyola of course, but also places to eat (Five Guys, etc) and a CVS for shopping Plus, it’s right next to the train (subway) station Great stay, all in all

Jennifer Price

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, and the professionalism of the staff The “rooms” are more like apartments; complete with a full kitchen, sofa bed, and bedroom There are even balconies for sitting outside in warm weather! The location is convenient to the Red line “L” station, restaurants, and of course, the Loyola campus

The Flats at Loyola Station will be our first choice when visiting the city

My reservation was done by my company (from Priceline) Since I was going to reach in the morning my company has made reservation from 1 day prior so that I will get room right from the morning When I reached I was told that there was no reservation in my name, but they could see my name under no-show (since as per hotel’s expectation I had not checked in on same day from when my booking was starting)

After my company personnel mentioned that they had already called to inform the hotel that check in will be done on the next day morning and hence reservation should not have been converted to no-show, my company personnel was asked about whom did they speak with, and was also told1 that’s not how we handle online booking2 We are completely booked for one of the days of our planned booking, so now same room is not available but a smaller one can be provided And that too will be available after 3pm (not right away)Since I as it is wanted to go to office, I went ahead with smaller room after 3pm option Reception was courteous to hold my bag until thenRoom was overall clean Morning breakfast had considerable options No other issues with hotel, just be careful when you are booking online and be sure to ask name of the person responding the call if you happen to call hotel for nay particular requests

good morning, Good hotel, excellent location, very clean and comfortable and very good breakfast

Only the employee Wilma A was not friendly at all, she questioned my arrival time when there was already an arrival note, instead to receive the guest with a smile that is only what is asked of a worker because he not only refuted and I felt like a scolded child I hope that in my next stay there because I am going to return I will not run into that employee because it could be the last time that she uses that hotel but otherwise very good hotel and service

Twila McDonough

Many pot holes in road surface, of hotel property Poor lighting, so that walking from car to front door you have the risk of tripping Towel replacement requested everyday but took 3 days to get towels

Each day multiple people responded that towels would be replaceTub surface was dangerous to stand on Bathroom tub area had well positioned hand rails and a pull down set Tub looked safe However, dry tub surface was very slippery I wondered if they polished it to look good Once tub had been used and it dried overnight I checked by placing a dry foot onto dry tub surface and promptly had foot slid on tub surface Tub unsafe to use, despite railsIce machine did not function on 2 out of 3 floors and yes reporting ice machine problem did not get problems solved Desk clerk said each machine has a note “BROKEN” Neither had a notice that machine did not functionTV remote quit working on day 3 of 6 never fixed despite reporting problem Once I was told that someone would be right up My next call I was told someone HAD been immediately sent to make repairAll of my requests were made after a large group of musicians had checked outThe musicians were the best part of my stay The music they played in the lobby was beautiful and relaxingI will never stay at this hotel again

Debbie Guzman

Big bedroom, with a desk and a couch in it You have a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee maker (but there is a coffee station in the lobby with everything you could need)Everything clean

The shower didn’t drain the water at a similar or faster pace than the one coming from the shower, so you get a little puddle in the bathtubthis is my only complain, but I have to say I didn’t ask for help from the helpdesk or other staff members, since my stay was very shortIncluded breakfast during my stay: 3 different cereals, oatmeal, protein bars, 3 type of muffins (chocolate, vanilla, blueberry), boiled eggs, waffles (you can make big ones or smaller ones), yogurts, fruit cocktail, 2 types of juice (apple and orange), different types of bread, and grape jam The coffee and tea station was availableThe staff is super nice Howard in the front desk was amazing and funny ❤️

Very nice hotel with nice clean accommodations Beds were comfortable The pool was huge and nice and warm

We enjoyed it very much Staff was friendly and the hotel was at a good location We had an accessible room at our previous Hampton hotel and would have preferred that here because the shower was a bit small Overall we had a nice time and would definitely book here to stay again

Mohammad Hussain

My stay here was excellent! The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated, staff was very nice, they were able to meet my preferences and requests, the parking garage they have is useful, the room was nice and overall the building seemed to be in really nice shape The ONLY thing I found odd (not even a complaint but more of a suggestion) is the bathroom door didn’t seem to have a lock on it, it was just a sliding door Would suggest adding locks to those bathroom doors but other than that, this was a great place to stay!

Kelly Marin

Booked two nights here and had a great stay Our room was very large for a hotel My kids were like biggest hotel room we have ever been in mom

We stayed with 2 queens and a pull out The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast Parking was easy Easy access to the airport All in all a great stay!

Such a gem! from the old world structure to the beautiful interior

The English Room experience was terrific and the food superb! We sat near the garden and loved looking at the courtyardWe peeked in at the White Hart Pub which will be our next more casual venturereminiscent of an old Irish pub, very dark and cozyWill definitely be back for the brunch experience that so many have raved about

Mathew Jenkins

I live close to the Deer Path Inn so I have no need to use their Hotel, though it is regarded as the nicest place in town which is no secret amongst locals However, their food, drinks, and service are on a completely different level I have eaten there a dozen or so times (in person and take out) and have yet to have anything less than a stellar meal/service

Their basement bar is my favorite place in town since the original Lovell’s closed (which had a similar basement-bar vibe) though the White Hart Pub is nice as well The Hot-A$$ Chicken Sliders and the Burger never disappoint! Also, the ENTIRE staff makes everyone feel important You’ll be greeted with a smile by everyone you interact with The building and grounds are beautiful, clean, and inspiring The only problem can be getting a table but that’s to be expected when you deliver like the DPI does!

Julius Foust

This hidden gem is amazing The ambiance, the service, the great food and drinks, it has easily become one of my new favorites Artemio, a veteran employee, is amazing person, he explained the history of the Deerpath, the menu, the food options and much more, his service was splendid and highly professional

I recommend this place to anyone, regardless if you eat in the English Room or the White Hart Pub, you cannot go wrong Thank you guys, I have a reservation for tomorrow and I am so looking forward to it

I was going to leave 3 stars because I was so surprised at the night auditor our first night being so proactive and helpful when I expressed our concerns over the status of the room After speaking with the manager this morning at checkout, I can only leave 1 I worked at a Staybridge for many years and love the brand and the quality of service they always provide

Along with the quality of maintenance of their rooms and building I can’t say that about this location Walked into room and immediately noticed the large bulge in the ceiling of the living room 6-8 inches wide and about 2 feet long Continued through room and when I went into the bathroom, noticed evidence of extreme water damage and at the base of the door trim-mold because of said damage I took photos and planned on speaking with staff in the morning Late that night, while my family was sleeping, I was reading in the living room The guests upstairs were so incredibly loud and stomping-but it comes with the territory They stomped so hard that all of a sudden a piece of the ceiling (where the large bulge was) fell onto the couch and a large crack had opened up I went to the front desk and she was so helpful and said she would be taking 50% off our stay I was so thankful and was not expecting that at all They were 100% full so moving rooms was not an option When we checked out, I went to front desk to get our receipt and check out and thank them for being so accommodating, the manager printed off my receipt and I noticed only 50% was taken off for one night When I had asked her, she said she had no idea about this but thanks for staying I told her the ceiling literally fell on me She said “I had no idea, sorry Have a great day Here’s a card if you want to dispute this” We had a very long drive ahead of us with small children, so disputing this right then and there was not something I could take the time to do I plan on sending an email to manager and also their corporate as well This was unacceptable behavior from the management Things happen Out of our control and the night auditor was fantastic But the fact that I was treated with zero regard and said to have a good day from management is not ok I hope this gets resolved immediately

Hanslik Julie

We had to wait 45 mins to check in because they tried to take money for our stay twice Every employee there was trying to run our card They ended taking money out twice anyway

Now have to wait days for our money to go back on our card They were not pleasant at all The lady that ran the breakfast area is very rude Our bathroom had black wavy hair all over the floor They had kids above our room that were running around most of our stay The hotel was OK They have a fire pit area that we did enjoy Heated pool I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel The staff seem pretty incompetent

larry wright

It was a suite with a full kitchen Everything was very clean and put away It had two TVs

And although there may be an additional cost I believe it’s pet friendly And it wasn’t much more than a normal room The service was as expected but the staff was very friendly They had a decent complimentary breakfast The location served my needs but I have no idea what is in the area If I come back in the area I will definitely be staying here again

This place is run very very well My first encounter was with Debra, who was extremely polite and very helpful Then when I checked in, she bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way

She’s been consistently pleasant, and goes the extra mile Everyone has been great Darryl always checks up on us, as does Marco, and Keith is a fantastic general managerThis stay has been a very pleasant surprise because of the very efficient way that it’s runRecommend

Elizabeth Beyer

The price is affordable for short and long term stays The staff there are very friendly and super helpful Monica is one of the best staff at the hotel

She’s made me and my husband feel more than welcome and comfortable during our 3 week stay The housekeeping doesn’t always keep up with exchanging towels, supplying toilet paper and giving fresh bed sheets but every time Monica was on shift she always checked and made sure that everything was satisfactory and our needs and wants were met Thank you for the wonderful stay

Kathy Bellas

I Also am wondering why this Hotel isn’t rated higher I have been to many, many Motel6 and this is the best one I ran across by far I really think they are rated too low

Overall a really great experience! Loved the temp of the room, it was clean, VERY comfy bed, great shower, and the staff was super nice Our son accidentally soaked the whole bathroom and all the towels, they gave us replacements promptly, no fuss Breakfast was fine, they had this really cool pancake machine making minis they my kids loved! This is one of the worst hotel experiences that I have ever had The staff was pretty friendly upon check-in, but it went downhill from there We needed a place to sleep for my son’s wedding

Nothing extravagant because we were so busy Every time we returned to our room it smelled like smoke, very distinct smell that resembled drug use The response from the front desk was, “That’s weird” On the second night, our car was broken into Nothing was stolen, but that was the final straw We decided not to stay the last night of our reservation Since we prepaid, they refused to refund the final night’s stay I would not recommend at all There are much better places to stay that are very helpful, friendly, and sympathetic

Priyal Mangla

10/10 *claps*The lady at the front desk, provided the best customer serviceWe were a family of 4, and we reached the hotel well before the checkin timings as out flight landed at 7The lady guided us to lodge the luggage and wait for sometime

And to our surprise, as soon as the room was ready, she checked us in! We also received a room upgradeThis woman was an angel in disguise I can’t recall her name, but I remember she wore specs had black hair and was youngTheir breakfast menu included everything essential Omelettes, waffles, and breads were super good and deliciousThe place is at a very optimum location- bus service is nearby There is a supermarket and Dunkin at walking distance too

Absolutely fantastic for the price point Good customer service, great room The only qualm was that the fan in the bathroom was a little loud, but that could have been specific to the room we stayed in

Definitely would stay again next time I’m in town, and would recommend to friends Fantastic location and great stay for a casual vacation

Ying Tang

The hotel is at a convenient location, lots of life around, close to bus stations and red line We felt safe to walk from the stations to the hotel at night The staff there are attentive, the only hotel indeed arranged me a quiet room per I requested

Breakfast is also fine with quality choices Room is clean, spacious and comfortable By the way, next to the parking lot, there is a construction going on, they do started pretty early, and a bit annoying

David Cline

I recently posted a negative yet realistic review here The shower plumbing was falling apart, the refrigerator didn’t work etc I repeatedly asked for room service and received none during my six day stay

Then online you apologized, but then said I wasn’t getting my deposit due to smoking in the roomThe only question I asked the lady at the front desk when I arrived is that if it was a non smoking room Due to I am allergic to smoke She said yesMaybe your feelings got hurt about my review and this is how you react I’ll just be happy knowing people have read this and chose elsewhereSo recapping, worst Best Western ever, worst customer service and you lie because you got a negative reviewIt’s not personal, it’s for other consumers
