Loved staying at this hotel The hotel was extremely clean and plants were well kept, thanks to the cleaning crew Everyone here has been so pleasant especially Isabella who was so accommodating

She was pretty much my first impression about how people are in Florida and she made a difference with a high standard Breakfast here was great They always made sure nothing ran out, thank you kitchen staff Parking was fabulous Everything was easy accessible Pool was perfect Love the circle of palm trees in the front Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone Definitely a very welcoming hotel 👍

Great location Has food options and shopping right by it if needed The staff was very welcoming, happy, friendly, always laughing and busy! Food was made, but to take out for breakfast but wonderful selection

Warm and ready to go Waffles, hard boiled eggs sausage, yogurt, fruit cups, fruit, juice, coffee, and more Games in the pool area were wonderful with a charcoal grill if you needed We definitely would stay here again We used the coin laundry as well! Yes, it is a little older, and all the doors are outside, no inside hallways But that wouldn’t keep up from coming back We loved it Beds were decent for us, and we felt safe and comfy

The pool was nice to enjoy at the end of the night with lots of seating The breakfast eh? I liked the scrambled eggs and bagels best I will definitely return here if I come back to the area It’s a great hotel, great rate, and center to everywhere you want to go in under and hour

A nice place to rest your head and to save a little in your wallet, especially if traveling alone The staff are friendly and helpful and although it’s pretty much shared, no one bothers you, and as a woman alone, I’m grateful for that You can rent one of the individual rooms as well, if you don’t want to share with others, though bathrooms are still shared, from what I’ve seen (just ask if you need to know

) The single rooms have their own fridge and tv and look very clean and comfortableThe backyard is lovely, with a pool with waterfall, a treehouse (if one cares to go up there, I didn’t), and fountain There is an outdoor shower I keep forgetting to try, and places to sit and eat There is a kitchen and common area with a smart TV that has Netflix and such I didn’t go in there much since brought a laptop, but people go in there and play Xbox apparentlyNeedless to say it’s certainly a good spot if you just need to rest you head for a few days I’ll certainly come back if in the area and in need of a place to sleep

The room was cleaned moments before we went in However, the chemicals were so strong we couldn’t breatheNo widows opened in the room and the air conditioner blows directly at the bed

One thin blanket and a sheet it was in the 40sSmoke detector was hanging off the ceilingWe went to the car to get water only to discover our car was broken intoLesson learned at 5am we left I was scared and angryThere was homeless sleeping on the couch at the front desk52$ to stay there!!!!!Nononono it was a glorified homeless shelterAlso, I did not feel welcomed by anyone I felt like we bothered them into cleaning a room at 7pm Even though I reserved the room early afternoonSo much more to say but I’ll stop hereBe careful

Trinity Wave

It’s 3am and I am writing this as I lie awake on this terribly uncomfortable bed in the Hampton Inn As soon as I plopped down on it I knew it would be a problem and it is It’s like the thin, pad less, springy bed you would feel in a little kids room

It has zero cushion I am supposed to stay here one more night but I don’t know that I can when I just can’t sleep Tomorrow I will ask if they have any different bedsThe hotel seems clean and the front desk guy was very nice on check in Like others, I was surprised that there was no mini fridge in my room So the food I brought home went bad At this point I would not stay here againUPDATE: (from 2 stars to 3)We tried to cancel our second night, but because we made our reservations online on the HILTON website (not even third party), they would not allow us to The hotel said they couldn’t do it, the website had to The website people said they couldn’t do it, the hotel had to After some back and forth and some serious dedication from Gabby at the front desk (she spent an hour on the phone with the website rep), they decided that we have to wait until tomorrow when we officially check out THEN the front desk can refund the second night We were fine with that plan, we went to the Marriott but they were full SO… here we are back at the Hampton However, the guy at the front desk switched our room and the bed is WAY better The bed in 307 was just so worn out It was hard as the floor but also concave This bed is flat and still has some padding to it I am grateful to the staff for putting forth the effort to help The new room had a really loud rattle coming from the ac unit but I was able to fix that If you have a room with this problem, try popping out the air filters and cleaning them They pull straight up from the top Our air filters were so full that the unit was having trouble pulling air through them which is what was making the rattle Now I have a quiet room with a good bed

A Muncie Experience

Spent 5 nights in a King Room and it was fantastic! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the hotel staff was helpful and very friendly! Free hot breakfast served every morning was delicious with a different main dish every morning Waffles, omelets, hash browns, French toast, and scrambled eggs are to name a few The lobby was beautiful with free cookies, coffee, water and lemonade

Exercise room and business center as well The pool area was like paradise! Comfortable seating, lounge chairs and plenty of towels Covered and open areas available around the pool area Plenty of parking Numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance and close by! Easy on and off access to the freeway! An absolute must stay hotel when visiting the Homestead area! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! You will too!

The wait staff was good complimentary breakfast was good however I did get some insect bites on my arm and parts of my body that were not under the covers so therefore I do not expect any of these were bed bugs but probably no seems Other than that no issues at the hotel The downside was that we had to request the room to be serviced which I found to be less than acceptable at this point because of the rate that we pay for these rooms

It seems that ever since covid the customer care has dropped off and it seems to be a consideration from the hotel establishments that this is acceptable

Great place to relax!!!!Everything was 100% satisfactory except the pool area

It needs to be clean more oftenOverall the staffs, the room, and breakfast was to my satisfaction I will definition go again (Hopefully the pool area meets its standard for such a great hotel)

This was my first stay at a Hilton and it did not disappoint! The service was warm and welcoming The lobby and public areas in the hallways were impeccably clean, free of terrible odors The cleanliness in my room was the same

even the microwave and mini fridge were spotless! The quietness of the AC unit and thicc walls allowed me to have the most marvelous night of sleep, over the past week Glad to now be one of the newest Hilton Honors Members!

Kimberly Chilton

I read the reviews first, and what was listed would normally steer me away I gave it a chance and couldn’t be happier I found the hotel clean and neatly kept

We had a king room No odd odors The front desk was very pleasant and greeted us whenever we passed by The room darkening shade is truly incredible I didn’t partake in breakfast, but it was fairly busy whenever I went by each day I usually sleep poorly when away from home, but I slept like a baby The bed was comfortable I got extra blankets because hubby complains when I steal the coversthe front desk was very accommodating No external sounds could be heard, and there is a building under construction next door The AC worked great There were no issues with the bathroom The location of the hotel was excellent for our activities The only negative would be other guests leaving their doors slam repeatedly I’m not an early bird, and the banging disturbed my sleep in the morning Take a chance on HGI You’ll be pleasantly surprised

I was surprised by how nice our stay was It was a budget hotel, but our room was clean, the front desk staff were very friendly, the grounds were very clean, well maintained with nice landscaping and the pool was very pleasant Breakfast was good

There were lots of families I felt very safe and comfortable the entire trip even though I was very unsure about the location initially We were able to take day trips to Key West, Miami and the Everglades Great location We were going to spend three times as much to stay at a budget resort in the Keys I’m glad we found this place

Piotr Zawiślak

Room was clean and tidy, room service came every day, breakfast was tasty however the choice was limited Reception is open 24/7 and we did not have any problems with check-in in the middle of the night Bathroom could be renovated

No problem with the parking spot There is also several spots for a barbecue Pool is small but quite nice

Jim Boxberger

Google lists the Fairway Inn as a 2 star hotel and true it is not the Ritz Carlton, but the hotel gets 5 stars for many reasons Clean room, clean sheets, clean towels, quiet A/C unit that works, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and more Room was huge even with a king size bed

They could easily put another king in the room as well They had a nice looking pool and offer a quick breakfast Great location among restaurants and other services and only about 5 miles from Homestead-Miami Speedway Back right up to your room and unload the cooler

My baby nose was bleeding and soiled the bed, thankful it did not go through to the mattress and we went to Walmart and came and cleaned up the room and ask housekeeping to give us clean sheets to make the bed The manager came up and said if we ask for housekeeping again she will charge us for lining so we did not get any housekeeping the whole 10 days we stayed there We would have to get trash bags and take out our own trash and clean up daily which I was fine with to avoid the fee

I checked out and they charged my card additional $405 for the lining I assume I called the hotel to speak with the manager and she hung up on me Mind you I payed over $2k for the 10 days I stayed at this place

Justin C

Don’t stay here unless you’re forced to Our group was promised free to order breakfast and they don’t even have a kitchen Rooms are below average at best

Holes in the carpet with horrible “patch” jobs AC needs to stay at 64 degrees otherwise it’s screeching loud Water pressure in the showers is horrible The bar staff has no idea how to make drinks either An old fashioned costs $13 dollars and they made it wrong both times Take your business somewhere else if you can

Diana “D”

First the staff were all friendly, thank you Chris for making my check in swift and east The room was clean, fresh linen, thank God for the microwave in the room The Bistro was a nice addition to the hotel, it was a place where the family gathered also, so it was a quaint little spot

The hotel is located in a good area where there lots of places to eat from and there is a CVS and a Wagreen near by The only downfall was that the atm machine was out of order and I really needed some cash

I like the quirkyness of the place I stayed there twice I didn’t like being called in the morning to ask if I wanted to stay another night or remind me of checkout time

I liked that I was able to walk my dog around the building and it looked nice on the outside I appreciated the refrigerator and freezer, and coffee in the room I didn’t care for too many patterns in the room and too dark On my second stay the reading light was broken-room 115 But I appreciate there are reading lights next to the beds Overall the place has a more homey feeling and less like another chain motels I would stay again

When everything else in the area was booked, we decided to reserve with this hotel The reviews didn’t seem too bad – I’m hopeful not every room is as terrible as ours was upon checking inWe were met with a terrible fish smell when we opened our room door

Originally we thought it was something someone had cooked – but sadly not the case Upon putting food in our fridge, my husband found liquid fish or shrimp leftovers in a drawer in the fridge He cleaned it out best he could and let the front desk know After walking around the room awhile, the bottom of al our feet were literally black – I wish I could share pictures – terribly disgusting My kids were exhausted so we cleaned ourselves up as best we could My husband again went to the front desk and they handed him some cleaner – the poor desk clerk offered fo come clean our floors for us, but we felt bad for her and decided to try ourselves She apologized over and over and genuinely felt badOur bathroom had also not been cleaned with the exception of some clean towels and empty trash There was hair and dirt in the bottom of the shower and the floors in the bathroom felt sticky,The front desk clerk again apologized and said they would send up a cleaning crew in the morning to pull out the beds and shampoo the carpets, scrub floors, clean bathrooms etc, or we could get it a refund We opted for the cleaning as nothing else was available anywhere close with two beds When we came back that evening, the room did look better, but still a terrible smell The floors had been attempted to be cleaned, but our feet are still black if we walk around without shoesNot a good experience, with the exception of the front desk staff I feel for them having to deal with complaints like this

I stayed for 4 days 3 nights I Thoroughly enjoyed my stay Everything seem to be just right

The continental breakfast was more than I imagined even though I only made it once for breakfast The room was nice and clean when I arrive with the exception of the broken jet tube that I Specifically paid for The floor was nice and quiet and the parking spots are always numerable The location was amazing the finest restaurants around 10 to 15 minutes away The staff was amazing and very helpfulConsThere is no daily room cleaning ($2000 additional)They are 2 bed covers and the second was dirtyThe air conditioning system makes a lot of noiseThis is not the Hilton , it’s best western and I enjoyed my stay

I recently stayed at this hotel The managements in this hotel is never to be seen Whenever I needed to talk to the manager they would always give me an email to contact the manager and she will not respond

I stayed in a room with cockroaches! Disgusting!! There is always suppose to be a manager or supervisor on duty for any shifts, as other hotels have so The front desk agent looked lost as if they haven’t been trained as well The next day I had help by this front desk agent named Emily She was able to move me rooms and made sure everything was okay in the room When I needed towels she will bring it up to me with no problem regardless if she was by herself I will love to meet the owner of this best western to let them know that their management is falling apart and I will most definitely not be staying here anymore Their own front desk agent that works in the afternoon looks like she can manage this whole place

Eliezer Romero

Always enjoyed my stay here never had a problem but today I got here for check in and they told me my room was booked to someone else I asked how that was possible if I booked my room on Monday days ago I showed them my reservation and had to wait to see what they were going to do

Finally, they were able to give me 2 separate rooms for my family’s stay, when we made our way to the rooms we open the door only to find out one of the rooms was already occupied with all there stuff Luckily At the time no one was inside Had to go back down to figure out if they could get another room, what a mess eventually we finally got another room, never had this happen to me in any hotel Won’t be staying here again

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel and found it to be great They have a great selection of food for breakfast (hot and cold) The Location was good for us

However, there was an issue with the bathroom sink water temperature It wouldn’t get hot but we were ok with it because the shower had no problem getting hot I’m sure they would have taken care of it if we had informed them but we didn’t want to have change to another room because we liked where we were Overall the stay was great!

Brenda Bailey

New place to stay We were there for 2 nights We have been traveling through several of the southern states staying mostly at Holiday Inn Express

This one had the nicest breakfast room and the best breakfast Food was cooked just right and had a variety The staff as in most HIE are friendly and helpful! We will continue to pick Holiday Inn Express on our stays!

MIKAL gangsters

The hotel was Moderatly great the bathrooms are clean it’s a very clean place most people are nice and welcoming however I will say during the complementary breakfast one of the workers dropped a piece of bread on the floor and then picked it up and put it back inside the bread case instead of throwing it away which is very deplorable So if you go be careful about the breakfast other than that it’s pretty good
