Staff is VERY friendly and helpful My 2 boys and I stayed in a 1 king suite with a pullout sofa Room was VERY large AND clean

Carpet could have been vacuumed better around coffee table and desk, as well as mirror cleaned off spots, but not a deal breaker Needed some extra linens for the pullout bed, and the night shift clerk was more than helpful The indoor pool was open to 11pm and the fitness room is room key card access on it with health/ COVID restrictions clearly posted Breakfast was from 6am-9am in a small, quaint room just off the lobby The gentleman helping with Breakfast was sooooo help (my youngest is a picky eater) and really personable I CANNOT say enough good things about this place!!

Total confusion at check in Rooms were booked over 3 months in advance Upon arrival only 1 room was booked with side notes alluding to the second room

However we did manage to get the 2nd room but at a higher price Both rooms were priced higher upon arrival than they were at time of booking Payment was made at time of booking But miraculously the hotel said not And had to re- pay for rooms at arrivalStaff was very nice and helpful with other things during our stay Clean rooms nicely furnished Very good continental breakfastHopefully if staying here you’ll have a better experience

Employees were nice Room was dirty and carpets were very gross… we found trash left from previous visitors that wasn’t picked up The curtains didn’t close which I found weird especially since we were on the 1st floor but previous visitors had torn holes in the curtains to tie close… which we did take advantage of

The AC hardly worked in our room and in the middle of summer, it was uncomfortable I hardly slept There were no vending machines that worked I wouldn’t stay again I understand you get what you pay for but the place was gross

My husband and I are absolutely disappointed in this hotel Last night, we undid the bed for the evening and my husband noticed a brown spot on the underside of the bedspread He touched it and it was sticky

I called down to the office and told them that the bedspread had some sticky stuff on it and they asked if I needed a new set of sheets I told them yes The lady brings down a set of sheets and puts them in my hand and I said what about the bedspread? She said “oh you need a bedspread too?” I said “yes that’s what has the sticky stuff all over it” After that we took a shower and came out of the shower and walked around in our bare feet The floor felt damp After about 5 minutes I looked at my feet and they were black 😢 Today, we went out for several hours, thinking that they would clean our room while we were gone We came back and noticed that nothing had been touched in our room I went to the front desk and said “are you guys going to clean our room?’ and she asked how many days we were staying We told her “four nights” She said, “no, we don’t clean the rooms You are to bring us your dirty towels and will give you some clean ones” So, they didn’t make our bed, they didn’t voluntarily put any clean towels in our room We will never stay at this hotel again

So far my stay has met my expectations Room was clean most importantly shower was clean as well no mold, dirt, or stains At first my ac wasn’t working properly but I let the front desk know and the maintenance man was in my room within 20 minutes and now it’s blowing ❄️☃️ Cool air to the point that I’m about to turn off the AC! Most importantly the customer service has been excellent by all the staff especially the young lady that checked me in! She went out her way to make sure I was satisfied with my room and I’m not gone like she’s a cutie tooo😂😂! But honestly speaking she is not the reason I left this review by any means

I’m honestly impressed with this hotel! 5⭐️ For this 2 ⭐️Hotel Location is very convenient as well Multiple food, grocery & liquor stores all within walking distance!!

I am a truck driver and I stay in many hotels, most hotels are good, once in a while you will find one that’s below average This one is below average The room smaller, the refrigerator didn’t work, I told the guy at the front desk and he didn’t seem to care

There were no towels or wash clothes in the room I asked the front desk for some, he said he would bring them to my room Two hours later I had to go back down and ask for them again The bed sheets had stains on them The floor in the room looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped On the upside, the room looked like it had been recently painted and the furniture was nice The bed was comfortable

Pretty Puppy

Tala at the front desk was amazing and made sure we were happy with our stay after some issues before we left! She apologized and made sure to thank us for staying there! She was really wonderful and super helpful! The rest of the employees (upon check-in and later on in our visit) were not very kind or helpful as she wasThe only negative thing I have to say about this place is that it is VERY humid and hard to breathe inside Otherwise, it was nice for a night

A few bugs around on the floor but the bed appeared to be bug free, comfortable, and clean

Called last minute due to a break down while traveling Got a room same day around 5pm on a Friday night Front desk lady was super nice and friendly

They accept pets as well which was the reason for choosing this hotel Dog loved the room as much as we did I requested a room close to an exit door to make it easier to take him out and was accommodated accordinglyRoom was clean, linens were fresh, kitchenette was fully stocked and clean The fridge/freezer was huge, the microwave/oven was clean and the bathroom was fully stocked with suppliesWe were on the ground level and the noise from the room above was minimal The fresh coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby was an added bonusThey offered a full hot breakfast in the morning which was fully stocked throughout the eating hours Food was delicious and very enjoyableOver all we very much enjoyed our stay and our interactions with the staff was very pleasant I would certainly stay here again!!!

Lisa Wohlers

This was definitely a great choice when deciding where to spend a night to break up a long drive Our suite was expansive with a separate bedroom for privacy and a roomy Jack and Jill bathroom Kitchen area had everything we needed to heat and serve the food we had with us

Breakfast was about what you would expect from this chain The coffee was good The temperature controls in the bedroom (at least in our suite) were less than cooperative, but ultimately we had a comfortable night’s rest Friendly and helpful staff Will stay again

Steve Van Dyke

My family enjoyed our stay here Staff was friendly and attentive We had to ask for pool towels and bedding for the pull out couch and they were very prompt with fulfilling those requests

Our room was clean and functional for my family and had the typical Home2 look and feel Even with the proximity to the highway, the hotel was quiet at nightI wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location to anyone

Dirty vents, toilet, corners of the rooms, dust on the headboard Hotelscom did not say anything about a cash deposit which seems sketchy

They are attempting to make it look more updated but needs more than just furniture to do that The front staff is very nice and accommodating with the issue of my third party of hotelscom You can hear everyone around you from other rooms The sheet had a burnt plastic feeling in spots

Sarah McKelvy

The good: The room was clean and the bed was comfortableThe bad:1 My husband went down to the front desk to ask for some more soap

Rather than give it to him, he was told, “We’ll bring it up to your room” Did they bring it up? No, he had to go back down the next morning to ask for it again, and he was given it (He should have received it the first time)2 The toilet seat in room 221 was about to fall off Unfortunately, I did not discover this until midnight3 The syrup was all gone for our breakfast, and the man was not willing to restock it4 Napkins also ran out at the breakfast area, and the same person behind the desk was not restocking them5 The clock in our room was not working (Thankfully, we had our phones)6 The paint was chipping in the bathroom, as well as the bathroom door7 The swimming pool was not open We were told it was because of COVID 🙄8 The coffee was rather nastySo, if you’re *only* looking for a place to stay, this is it, but if you expect things to be restocked, and the front desk to be helpful, then look somewhere else

Jeanne Lafler

The rooms were very clean and cleaned daily while we were thereOnly decaffeinated coffee available in room Not everyone only drink decaf coffee

Some family members smoke, the smoking area does not look like it has been cleaned in a long time

Melissa & Erika were absolutely the best Melissa went out of her way & helped us with some lost luggage issue being delivered for my daughter Always a pleasant smile “Good morning” & “Good evening”

Erika is a absolute gem She made sure myself & kids were well fed in the morning & always was such a sweetheart with a positive vibe during a funeral trip They made our hard visit somewhat softer & I’m grateful

Claire Appel

We have been back to this location many times We find it to be consistently clean, with friendly staff, comfy beds and nice restroom amenities However, there were a few things strange last night

There was only one bath towel and washcloth, and the beds were not tucked in as usual, no biggie! But there were no comforters in the 2 duvet covers on the queen beds I felt a little cold during the night and would have liked a comforter Maybe it was an oversight but if we should return again, I’ll ask for a blanket!

Bob Gillingham

Check in and out were easy and email driven The coffee was good, which is an exceptional thing I did not feel that the room was clean enough: both beds had sheets, pillow cases, bedspreads that were wrinkled and loose, like thrown back

The bathroom floor could have used another cleaning I understand that firms are reducing services, etc, but not with my dollarIn fairness, I need to say my neatnick wife did not remark

We wanted to simplify and personalize our travels and come to find out in the 50s so did they Last night a storm came through and the power went out so the owner had my number and texted me that they called the power company and approx the time the power was to come on Sure enough it did

She also put some ice in the room and turned the ac on so it was cool when we got there That’s what happens when it’s family owned and reputation matters

Amber Casali

My husband, our old dog, and I are traveling across the country, moving from AZ to MA Came across The Golden Inn and it was perfect for us Great grassey area in front on the building which was perfect for our little old dog

Tons of cable channels and Ruko TV Small fridge and microwave in room is a plus The bed could be a hair more comfortable and could use a couple more power outlets

It’s an older motel with age but the room was clean and neat Beds were comfortable and clean No bed bugs! The bathroom fan was loud

Coffee maker didn’t work Clock didn’t work They have been made aware of these things I would stay again and probably will next year I found it in the right location for where I needed to go for my high School class reunion

Ray Staten

Stayed here for the night passing through, very convenient from the interstate Very happy, super friendly staff and the room was very clean and comfortable, zero complaints I felt the need the leave this review because we almost got scared off and didn’t stay from the negative reviews here, but I have no idea what they are complaining about, maybe they have cleaned or updated since, but if your on the fence from other reviews, give it a shot

Yeah it’s a basic cheap hotel but nothing was unclean at all in our experience!

Dan DeMars

I am a truck driver and they had plenty of truck parking which is great They would not give me a later check out which is the first time that’s happened in 20 years of me truck driving and getting hotel rooms 2-3 times a week He would not budge and wanted to charge me $10 for one more hour

I get in my room and the comforter and blanket below that were disgusting Blood stains and whatever stains Why can’t hotels wash these? It’s disgusting! THEN, I went into the lobby to look for some plates so I can cook some food in the room and a young man that worked here came out yelling at me, telling me I needed to ask somebody to open their cupboard to get a plate He yelled at me saying, “it’s private property and I have no right to go in there” I would not recommend this place to anybody They need to treat people like they want to be treated I thought I was doing them a favor by trying not to bother them, by taking initiative The rudest Hotel staff I’ve ever come across in my 56 years of life Unbelievable

A large tucked away Holiday Inn It looks new (or recently renovated) – clean, spacious, and well designed The staff were friendly and professional

The prices were really reasonable (cheap) when we stayed The only downsides are that breakfast isn’t included (there’s food offered at a price), the elevator was pretty slow, and that the hotel is tucked away behind and between other hotels with only one small road in and out of the property There’s ample (free) parking though – so that was nice!

Jay K

Upon check in, I found that my room was not properly cleaned The rim of the toilet had hair and urine on it There was trash on the floor between the chair and the end table, and there is a white stain on the bed skirt

I contacted the front desk and requested that the room be thoroughly cleaned while I was out for meetings today Upon returning to my room, there was no evidence of thorough cleaning, and the piece of trash was still in the same place Then, I went to the fitness center, and the floor and equipment was dusty and dirty When I finished my workout, there was no sanitizer or wipes available I went to the front desk and requested some Finally, I returned to my room to call Holiday Inn and write this review, only to find that I had been charged $78 more than the price quoted in my reservation I would not book here again

Giovany Addun

Exceptional service!I checked in at 10pm just as some sort of tour group was arriving Lots of really rude customers checking in before me, but the ladies working the front desk were extremely polite and professionalGive them a raise! I would not have been able to keep my cool with some of those rude customers

The room was alright Clean but nothing special Did not eat at the restaurant/bar
