If you are ever in need of a warm, clean, and comfortable hotel, Larkspur Landing is the place to stay The staff was so nice and professional The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully equipped

There was a full kitchen, desk, ironing board and iron, and hair dryer They offer free Wi-Fi service for their guests and continental breakfast with coffee or tea in the early morning There is an additional $13 parking fee If I’m ever in need again, of a room in the San Francisco area, this is where I’ll stay

Overall, the hotel seemed kind of run down and poorly maintained I started off in room 324, but moved to 325 after a couple of days because the bathroom was consistently filling up with cigarette smoke Room 325 didn’t have ventilation issues, but did have a number of other issues such as a cracked stove top, missing cabinetry facing, a cabinet door that wouldn’t close all the way under the sink, and a couple other cosmetic issues

Outside of the room, the hallway feels dated and the second elevator was inoperative for over two weeks during my stay Even the elevator inspection was dated with a document posted stating that the previous certificate was still valid until an inspector could be dispatched This wouldn’t be so alarming except that the document dates from 2019 I know there was a pandemic and all in between then an now, but we’re not exactly in the middle of a lockdown as of May, 2022

Service was nice, the front desk assisted and helped with answering questions and concerns we had Also, they were polite when approached Although, the room we stayed in could have been better

Room had been ultimately small The bathroom size did not fit either Also, the room had a wet dog smell to it the bed had not been comfortable Old appliances were inside as well Overall, location had been alright it was near a few spots we went to or had gone to dine, drink coffee etc

My car was Towed I parked less than 2blocks away It Cost more than the room

Parking not good in S F Location was convenient but some undesirables around The bus driver was very kind in Directing us to the Car impound Thankfully it was less than 15mins away I’ve stayed here a few times before But hate they don’t have a parking lot

Clean room, friendly staff, very accommodating! We arrived early and had a late flight on checkout Both times they were nice enough to offer and store our luggageIt’s worth mentioning what other people have said: expect fees, walls are thin and there wasn’t free breakfast

But they do give you 5$ off the hotel restaurant; we enjoyed our breakfast there

The staff was really helpful and kind, Cris is an amazing person 🤗 The hotel is really cute and clean! We even had free coffee and tea every morning for what I’m really grateful for and they offered to save our luggage for us since we arrived too early for the check inThe only thing I could say it’s that would’ve been nice to have shower cap since the shower head is fix and didn’t want to wet my hair 😂 but I didn’t ask the staff for it either so maybe they could’ve provided one 🙂

Marine

Nice hotel ! Descent price ! Several community rooms, all very big ! Baby foot, pool, boardgames, video games

Laundry machines available in the basement for cheap price I got the private room with bathroom, very clean and comfortable The location is PERFECTThe only problem is the parking but hotel residents get discount on in the private parking garage 2 min away walking (28$ instead of 35$ a night yeah SF is super expensive like everything in California)I highly recommend Ansonia !

Lauren Penrose

Much better experience than expected, the staff is working on upgrading the place after buying it last year They are more than willing to help you with anything you need Facilities are still a little outdated, but they are working on upgrading and will help you find a solution if expectations are not satisfied

We stayed in a 3br, 3 bath Presidential Reserve condo The furnishings, quality, comfort and size were outstanding! Lavish materials, full size washer/dryer, side by side fridge with ice-water, super size master suite and bath Service from staff was also above average

This location convenient to Union Square and Hyde-Powell cable car line Highly recommend this property

Steve W

Great staff, check in and PR room (3 bedroom, 2 full baths, full kitchen and full sized washer and dryer) We are very happy Wyndham owners and travel at least a week each month Based on other reviews we had concerns that the area might not be very safe, clean, homeless etc

Had no issues at all Walked everywhere, a couple of blocks to Chinatown then down to Fisherman’s wharf and everything was great Only issue we had was the parking but it is SF so parking is always an issue We used a garage American West Parking, 1 block from Wyndham They park your car, very tight space and when I picked up, had new scratch(s) where a car door had hit and moved up and down as they got in or out Very typical in SF but still frustrating $60 a day and scratches are free Space is a premium and we knew that so didn’t bring my wife’s vehicle

Cute and cozy room Well appointed rooms Comfortable beds

Courteous staff Convenient location Recommend and will stay there againParking is a few feet from your door and if other guests are not courteous and kind, could potentially be an issueFortunately when I visited, the folks sitting in their car outside my room smoking and listening to music at 0100HRD were very nice and turned the music off right away If you have a large vehicle parking could be a tight squeezeVery nice experiwnce over all

This hotel had some mixed reviews, so I wanted to make sure to leave a review because I thought it was great! We stayed one night for a conference taking place down the road It was easy to find, there was lots of parking, the hotel clerk was very friendly and informative, the rooms were remodeled and had everything one may need The bathroom was extra spacious which was perfect for 3 ladies rooming together

The coffee-room had Keurig coffee and lots of snacks, which I thought was nice I would highly recommend!

Not sure why Google Maps describes this as a 2-star hotel It’s definitely a 3-star inn We stayed here at the beginning & end of a road trip through northern California, because it’s only 30 minutes from SFO

A MUCH nicer choice than the hotel airports We stayed in the Mavericks & Dunes suites Both immaculate and thoughtfully appointed, including an ice machine, snacks & bottled water We loved hearing the fog horn and the barking sea lion Otherwise SO quiet and peaceful Note that the “fireplace” (actually gas stove) is the unit’s heat, and it will kick on and off according to how you set the thermostat on the wall Also note that there is no on-site staff in this very small (6-unit) inn–your room key will be in an envelope in a mailbox We will be back!

Helen Jenkins

Amazing and beautiful place We stayed 6 days for our son’s wedding at the Inn and they accommodated us in every way possible Melissa and all the housekeeping staff were wonderful

The views were amazing and its walking distance to restaurants and shopping The sea lions and fog horns were enjoyable to hear Everything was perfect! Thanks for a wonderful memory!

Maria A

I took my parents here and we couldn’t be more pleased I was impressed with the room quality and cleanliness, and most of all the beautiful view from the room I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a blanket, drinking a hot chocolate (from their complimentary snack basket), looking at the ocean view while listening to the sea lions barking and fog horn going off every couple of seconds

We were also able to walk to nearby restaurants and brought our food back to the room so we can enjoy the view while we ate It was such a nice retreat and would love to return in the future

This hotel was really great! It’s right by Union Square, which is a really great location The hotel itself was very nice and accommodating The room wasn’t huge, but it’s a really nice place to stay, and it was very clean

The staff was super friendly, and they put out complementary cookies, coffee, and popcorn for the guests They also give you a buy one get one free coupon for the bar in the lobby, which was really nice to relax and meet some of the other guests The bartender was also super friendly Overall, I had a great night stay at the Chancellor Hotel and would definitely go back!

This is an absolutely amazing hotel in a great central location The rooms are clean and have essentials that I haven’t seen in a lot of modern hotels Hotel is old but very well taken care of and the staff here make the stay even better

Highly recommend It is close to the BART for getting to & from the airport Staff was kind, helped me with food suggestions & a lost bag

Hostel is clean with a lot of individual restroom Mattress was surprisingly cozy! Privacy curtains & personal light & outlet in each bed is lovely Wasn’t too much partying or noise going on when I was there People were quiet & respectful It is a chill & clean hostel

L. D

Honestly think a lot of the 5 stars reviews are fake, this hostel looks nice but is truly the lowest quality you could get (for the right price though) If you’re used to motels and hostels then it should be fine, especially for just a night or two But I stayed 4 nights in a 10 beds room, with no proper lockers (very easy to steal your stuff if you don’t have locks on your bags), very noisy at night, there were people in the kitchen talking super loud every time as if it was a festival, and outside the window in the morning way too early

Bathrooms are very unhygienic, it’s clear no one does the cleaning and apparently guests don’t know how to clean after themselves The beds are decent, but the blanket and pillow were very poor quality Didn’t interact much with the staff so I can’t say anything about that, but yeah, as someone who has done a lot of hostels throughout my trip in America, this one was one of the worst ones, sadly It’s not a youth hostels like most other places either, I’m used to it being for young people in Europe but here it was mostly people in their late 30s/40s/50s Not that there’s anything wrong with them, it just caught me off guard Also, didn’t really enjoy the free breakfast as the kitchen was overcrowded Location is REALLY good though!

Olivera L

Some of the floors and walls have seen better days which, at first, may leave the impression that the place is a bit run down but everything you need actually works perfectly There is a nice mix of guests and beautiful common places to hang or work remotely The staff are very efficient, friendly and will help with anything

Great value for money and really adds to the whole experience of the city
