Wonderful stay!! I had to come to weslaco for 2 weeks of management training at buffalo wild wings The company picked the hotel ahead of time There were several hotels closer to where I worked but I was so pleased with the room and the staff especially Alex(at the front desk) , I didn’t mind the drive

And after a 12 hour shift of training in a busy restaurant, I really appreciated the huge comfortable bed I would highly recommend Comfort Inn in Donna Texas to everyone And if I ever have to go out of town again, I hope they have a Comfort Inn because I don’t wanna stay anywhere else

Front desk ppl were very nice They even gave us a card for 15% off at gift shop We rented the family room

Not what I expected It had 2 full size beds in one room with a small closet & in the next room over had 2 twin size beds a built in desk with mirror & small closet with a Shared bathroom We expected this room to be a whole room No division and way bigger None smoking rooms, that’s fine We don’t smoke anyways No mini fridge, so I could keep my babies milk cold No microwave No blow dryer No coffee maker No telephone No alarm clock Very cold we had no control over the AC Had small flat screens in each room bathroom was nice, but no tub to wash my baby Up stairs No elevator The doors to the place lock up at 10pm so if you put pasted then you had to call security to come unlock the front door to let you in But that was nice to know I felt safe Very quiet that was awesome too But every 30 seconds the fire alarm would beep really loud No free breakfast, it was so hot in the cafe But over all for a place to lay my head It was nice

Clean rooms, great staff and the breakfast! I do have to note this is a renovated Motel If you have trouble with stairs and they are out of rooms on 1st floor you will want to go else where No elevators

I also asked to be in a room away from a busy street and we were on the street side of the hotel Granted we had to reserve the room same day so when I got here and asked for downstairs because I have bad knees they didn’t have anything else available Not their fault they tried They also had no trouble with a late check out and let me wait in their lobby until my ride got there But everything was nice and all the reviews about the breakfast were right! Would stay again if they have a room downstairs away from the street side

I would like to thank Savanah for her great customer service After I checked in I asked and she was nice enough to look up plant nurseries for me so I could find some plants and trees I booked a room with a king size bed and when Savanah was confirming the room, I heard king size bed with a sofa bed

She actually said king size bed with BUNK BEDS through a mask so I said yes After walking in, I walked back out by this time, the GM was at the front desk I explained I wasn’t complaining I just didn’t that whole room knowing it’s just me a family could’ve came and used the room Savanah smiled said no problem, the GM asked I stayed in the room I said no as it was 5 minutes after checking-in, rolling my items to the room and returning to the desk I went from 1st floor to the 2nd floor with an upgradeThanks again to Savanah for the great customer service, thanks to the GM, for assuring cleanliness This was not my first time staying at this hotel due to traveling for work and they endured my return

I Have Stayed Here Before Years Ago And I Have No Complaints About That Stay That Time Yesterday I Booked On Bookingcom And Just Because My License Is Under The Name I’m In The Process Of Changing, Just The First Name, And My Card That I Paid With With The Other Name I’m Legally Changing It To, The Worker There, Or I Don’t Know If She’s The Manager Or Not, Didn’t Process My Stay

In Bookingcom It Just Mentions To Show A VALID ID And A Card Doesn’t Mention Anything About Them Having to HAVE To Be Under The Same Name The Room Was Paid And I Was Completely Exhausted, Irritated, Aggravated, Sleepless, Back Aching So Much I Just Couldn’t Deal With But I Think Was Pretty Petty And Not So Cooperative Or Understanding Whatsoever I Do Not Have Issues Anywhere Else; Not Mentioning Other Hotels, In General, With This I Think They Could’ve Handled It Differently Or At Least Somehow Transferred My ONLY funds I Had At That moment To My Brothers Name If That Was Te Issue

Drew Smith

First issue I had was when I got to the room it was dirty I had to request a broom and some towels to clean the room, plus the fridge because they didn’t have anyone to do it As I was sleeping I noticed dead roaches throughout the room and under the cabinet

Second there was shaved hair in the shower and long hair on the toilet seat and pillow cases There were never any extra towels to shower with or pillows to use The pillows were SO FLAT I woke up with a crook in my neck I checked in Sunday and by Thursday night I was ready to go I called downstairs abd Anthony said I would be able to get the remainder of my money back, but I called this morning to get checked out and Elizabeth said I wouldn’t be able to get a refund Mind you the advertise rate is 4600 per night but they said that’s for a weekly rate, the nightly rate is really 60 or 70 something When I saw a live roach i called and got another room at a different hotel and left at 330 AM it was that bad

I booked a last minute stay through Expedia and quickly figured out that I accidentally booked a hotel 3 hours away which was obviously my fault I called the hotel, no answerShortly after booking, I arrived at the hotel I THOUGHT I had booked, and tried to switch the booking to that location, which was denied, even though they had vacancy

Once I was declined, I called Expedia in an attempt to get at least some part of my money back, as I had no intention of paying for a second room After waiting 2 days, this request was deniedI will never be booking at Super 8 again, and from the looks of the hotel I saw, they probably did me a favor by avoiding bed bugs Although the mistake was clearly mine, I called promptly (within ten minutes) to cancel the booking in hopes that they would understand the accident Bad business practice in my opinion

Good location Comfortable room Very helpful staff

Our only dislike was that this hotel cleans rooms only every 3 days and when we got service on the third day, all they did was drop off fresh towels; would have liked the bed remade, bathroom cleaned, and wastebaskets emptied In fairness, the hotel staff was very willing to provide towels and supplies upon request

Karalyn Code

Our first room did not have hot water however second room is almost worst as there is black mold on the walls Luckily the windows open here but even with that said mold is just unacceptable Staff is great breakfast was amazing! Wish I could haven’t given five stars because the people actually working here do a wonderful job

Maybe the one star will get the owners attention and they’ll put some money into fixing the issues

Latoya Sims Jackson

When arriving to my room we noticed there was old blood on the curtains I called down to the front desk to inform them and was told their were no more rooms so I would have to deal with it After un packing and trying to settle in I then noticed there was no remote so I contacted the front desk and was told they had no remotes because someone was stealing

So never received a remote Being that there was nothing to do I decided to just go to bed and when I then pulled the blanket back there was old blood on the comforter I then called the front desk again and all I was asked was did I want another blanket Very unsanitary Luckily we had to beds so I just took the comforter off the other bed I tried to call again and ask for the manger to let them know what was going on and got nowhere with them either I was just told he was unaware of the situation Not a good stay at all!

The room was OK The housekeeping service was not OK We were here for nine nights

The first morning I discovered there was feces smeared on the inside of the shower curtain! I contacted the front desk and they said they’d have housekeeping come take care of it later that dayThere was no apology or any indication of concern and certainly no rush to resolve the problemLater in the stay I asked for the room to be cleaned with an emphasis on the floors add they didn’t appear to have ever been cleaned properly I was told OKThe next day when we returned to the hotel after being gone for the day the rim hadn’t been touched When I called the front desk to am why they said they must have forgottenNot a great experience

Everything was fine and dandy until I needed some new sheets I requested for my room to be turned down on my last night of my stay I was told by the front desk “we will clean and turn down rooms should you stay four or more nights

Also, we do not clean rooms after 3pm” So I asked myself “they will change your sheets every four days only? Gross!” I then asked the receptionist Jada “can I at least get some sheets left in front of my door?” She says “let me put on hold” She left me on hold for over five minutes I hung up and left because I wanted to continue enjoying my day I return to my room hours later and there are new sheets on the bed Keep in mind this mattress had multiple yellow stains of which none were mine and I have taken photos Also, be aware that I stripped out the bed and pillows myself I was in hopes that they would at least put them on, nope they were just left there The sheets which were taken off and put in a pile along with the dirty towels were not taken from the floor in front of the bed I’m not gonna lie, I kicked him out into the hallway in front of my door in once again a neat pile Hopefully the cleaning service will pick them up Please let it be know the cleaning service was still working my floor much after 1500, in fact they are still working the floor and it is 1841 Simple unfulfilled request is how you ruin customer service My stay went from a 5 Star to a ZERO Star

Christine Meece

The rooms were ridiculous the bed uncomfortable the spigot in the shower was literally coming out of the wall you had to turn on the water all the way to the hot to get semi hot water which had absolutely no pressure the drain plug didn’t work in the bathtub but the heater and air conditioner worked The customer service was the only thing that was good and it was a gentleman that helped me because of my situation and he was very personable and I appreciate him I forgot his name and the location of the motel I guess is it right in the middle of everything you can get anything you need in the vicinity I hope this helps anyone

Rain Storm

The rooms in the hotel were furnished and painted nicely, however my bathtub had a leak in it which flooded the room and had to be moved to a new room The main issues were with the type of guests staying at the hotel at the time and the way hotel front desk staff handle issues I went to the pool with my daughter and an hour later a couple began heavily making out for 5+ minutes in the pool while their friends, 6 of their kids (7-10), as while as my daughter (6) watched in disgust while I had to explain to my daughter that they are behaving extremely bad and disgusting

Thankfully only the couple left to their room however they came back within the hour and began making out again I had to leave with my daughter to avoid her watching something so inappropriate I notified the front desk who only asked them to go to their rooms instead of being removed from the hotel Pretty horrible experience and will not return for fear of other disgusting guests

Very nice and affordable place to stay I will def be booking this location again It’s right off the freeway with restaurants, gas stations and even groceries and a pharmacy all within 1/4 mile

The area is very upscale and safe The pool gets cleaned daily and the staff is so very nice Breakfast options were plentiful and they had a staff of 2-3 every morning restocking and cleaning the breakfast area (Make sure to tip them! There’s a tip jar) They even have a bar in the back in it’s own building and parking lot you can go and grab a drink and some finger foods at night I think they close at 2am We really enjoyed our stay here Make sure to also tip your room service!

Fernando Fong

The front desk lady couldn’t even find my reservation even when I had a confirmation number and an email she said that I reserved through a third party (Tripcom) and the reservation was under my mother’s name and I was the one who made it and pay for it The carpet of the room was so dirty, and the toilet was not even working right, I had to flush it like five times to make it to work

When I requested another room she gave me the keys of another room and they were not even working So I had to go back and forth like three times to change keys and none were working The lady was not helping at all and she had a bad attitude she made me wait for long time in the lobby At this point I didn’t want to stay in that hotel anymore because I was with my mother, she is 61 and she needs a special service so I requested cancellation of the room and a refund she said that I reserved it through a third party(Tripcom) and she couldn’t do anything because she didn’t know what I had pay for So she denied a refund I had to call the corporation office to solve the problem and she acted like she was talking to her manager When I requested to talk to her manager she said she was talking to her boyfriend Obviously I got upset and I just asked to respect my rights as a customer, because I had already paid She didn’t care that I had my mother with me and she kicked me out the hotel with my sick mother and she called the police on me like I was a criminal Also I had to pay a $50 deposit She said she was going to give me the money back As today , I only got the refund from Tripcom, and that was because I had to call them to complain Also I recorded a video of the keys not working so you can see that I’m not lying As today, I’m still waiting for the refund of the $50 deposit that I had paid Please take action about this poor customer service and help me get my $50 back that I paid (deposit) because I didn’t even stay in the hotel Thank you Fernando

Christina Eilers

A bit more affordable than surrounding hotels, depending when you make your reservation Very close to the hospital my sister was staying, within walking distance There’s a bus or trolley stop in the side street but not aware of hours of operation

There are restaurants nearby, a medium size shopping mall Very conveniently located Staff at breakfast very helpful, food’s good!

Stains, cigarette holes and extremely worn out sheets The pillows need to be changed, I used 2 to feel like 1 Landscape was not kept up with and there were a few shady people walking around bit there was security or maintenance doing constant rounds

i stayed here a couple of years ago and i loved it so i decided to return and decide i will not stay again in the future unless they improve on cleanliness and updates, i’m not exact when i say that every single one of our linens bed sheets top covers and towels were either so stained they look like they have never been washed or they weren’t washed at all, i picked out sooo many long black hairs between the layers of sheet and covers i could have made a sweater i wanted to continue to give this place business as i loved it so much the first time but i just can’t when it’s that gross

Really quiet hotel and actually is pretty comfortable The rooms are decent sized and the hotel is in a good area as well However the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint

Literally the walls had some chipping and spots were paint was missing But regardless of that the room was very clean and the pool area was great as was the free breakfast

Rick Martinez

Always come here and never had an issue But this time it was bad The room we got, 325 was dirty

Mold in the bathtub and the water was cold until the raised the heater temp Spots that looked like boogers on the wall and the doors where dirty and dusty and i took pics of everything Let’s see if management cares or not Also we don’t like the part that they tell us now that we can’t take any of the breakfast to the room!? Really!! Why not!! For $120 a night I expect better service for sure!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE, I booked this hotel for my mother who is attending a funeral for my father and upon leaving the hotel she was charged an ADDITIONAL $60 for towels that cannot be replaced? (Very confused at this point) I spoke with a younger woman named Carolina who said she was the General Manager, she had absolutely no explanation for what happened, only that she had spoken with the “head housekeeper” about the towels there were NO photos of “said towels” that they claimed were destroyed and I had to ask her 5 seperate times before sending an itemised receipt to my email

This is absolutely the worst customer service I have received in my life, Not only was Carolina extremely rude and very unsympathetic towards our situation she could not provide any explanation for how these towels were “destroyed” during the stay or could not provide any photo evidence or pictures of the addition $60 damage fees to the towels All she said was “If I have them, I will send them” I can guarantee you I will have my husband reach out to American Express to dispute these additional charges and that we will never stay or mention this hotel to anybody! They are obviously looking for an easy unethical way to increase revenue and when I mentioned staying in a cheaper hotel to save money she got very defensive saying this is NOT a cheap motel, you could’ve stayed at Motel 6 The only reason I gave this place 1 star was because I had too but from my experience here I have never felt so unsatisfied and even more unwelcome

Horrible the room was facing macys at la plaza mall, the room smelled, was very outdated and the door was not working properly so we had bugs and mosquitoes flying in So i go to attempt to talk to a manager and they said you can’t get a refund but we can switch you rooms i said no I want a refund She said I’m sorry the manager won’t be in till Monday

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all theses reviews are very misleading and this hotel is like a room you would rent by the hour
