I have stayed at this particular Country Inn as well as in other states and was always very satisfied with my stays However, this time I had a rather unpleasant stay, and I would not stay at this one againThat said, the staff was very pleasant and helpful

But the hotel itself was rather tired and threadbare, the carpets were stained, and everything generally looked like it was just getting by and not being well maintained, cleaned, or kept up to dateIn particular, my first room smelled so bad of urine and mildew odor that I requested a room change The second room had a slight mildew smell as well, but it was not bad enough to be worth asking to change rooms again The air conditioners in both rooms had mold spots on the airflow fins and likely inside them as well The sheets and towels had stains on them, and the bathroom floor was so sticky when walking on it that I spent time washing it until I didn’t stick to it any moreMy other complaint was the continental breakfast It was truly pathetic – just some white bread and bagels, sugary dry cereal, and hard boiled eggsThe price and location were reasonable, and it wasn’t abysmal, but as I said, I wouldn’t stay there again myself

The staff is unbelievably friendly The place is clean No stiff, musky smell

The bath tub is HUGE Its a 2 person jacuzzi, literally Water pressure is great with multi change head Hot water stayed hot the whole bath The AC gets super crisp Extra blankets and pillows at no charge No bugs The curtains are blackout Laundry facility is clean Workout equipment all functional The pool is not open yet and breafast is cereal, fruits, oatmeal, breads and boiled eggs (due to Covid) This is my 3rd time I’ll be back! (:

Check in was smooth They were nice up until they swiped my card I got charged for the night stay plus a $50 deposit

I questioned the guy at the front desk about it and he was very smug hardly explaining the charge saying it’s in case you break something Okay We got the whirlpool room The tub is in the bathroom itself Not very relaxing or romantic sitting in a whirlpool while staring at the toilet I’ve stayed at different country inn and suites with whirlpools and the tub is in the bed area Anyway I just asked for an extra sheet so I could cover up the toilet Worst part is when we came back after eating dinner there was no parking in the front so we parked in the back Not well lit at all We walked through the back door where the lock that you use your key card on didn’t work I asked the front desk about it and again very smug He didn’t care that it didn’t work Anyone can walk in without being seen Through the night we heard all kinds of activity in the halls Breakfast was the most minimal continental breakfast I’ve ever seen Bread for toasting, bagels and cereal I’m writing this review a week later and I’m still waiting on my deposit to come back I would seek other options if I were you

This location is great Nicely tucked into a nice area, well lit and felt very safe (Can’t say the same for all LQ properties)

Check in was a breeze, though we didn’t get the first floor that we requested (not a deal breaker by any stretch), but we arrived pretty late and left very early, so we prefer the first floor to not disturb those trying to sleepThe room was definitely above my expectation I was on a 4 day road trip and booked similar hotels to this one and this had the best room of the 4 Spacious room, nice bathroom with great lighting and amenities Breakfast was alright, but nothing to write home about, but I’d definitely stay here again Nothing wrong with our stay whatsoever

We stayed here a couple days, it’s a pretty nice hotel if you plan to stay for more than 3 days I’d say The rooms were pretty clean & the beds are comfortable enough to get some sleep I would say the bathroom tub/shower combo could use some updating & the shower curtain slips off the rod sometimes

Otherwise, the room was spacious & the ac was working great throughout our stays I think you would have to request to get your room cleaned because they never cleaned it while we stayed, but it’s wasn’t a problem to us since we only stayed a few days The parking lot is quite big, plenty of parking spots

Very kind front desk staff Professional guests coming and going Beautiful clean lobby

And nice little convenience store in the lobby areaWithin waking distance of all the North Point mall stores and you can get even groceries from Target across North Point Parkway We felt very safe and the price was really competitive if you shop the travel appsAlso so nice to have fresh brewed coffee and tea plus some basic items and a piece of fruit included for breakfast

The room, linens, bathroom was very clean The beds were super comfortable The lady that was working at the front desk was very nice and hospitable

I stayed here on May 21st, 2022This is not my first time staying at a Sonesta so I expected great service of courseThe room was CLEAN & COMFY 🤩 and that’s typically my main concern with hotels

the roommss! But these were niceRooms are not large but I’d take small and clean over large and dirty any day ☺️It was also very quiet during my stayThe young black girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with explaining parking, etc I didn’t go to the pool but mistakenly ended up on the pool floor trying to find parking and it was niceAlso parking was only $9 I’d definitely stay here again 😁

The property itself was great The hotel and room were nice Besides the sorry excuse for a pillow (read further), the hotel itself was as billed and excellent

ButThe staff needs to cheer up Every customer interaction we saw (including ours) was met with reluctance and disgust They obviously did not want to be at work, and the guests suffered for it I called 5 days in advance to confirm our room, and was met with a very unenthusiastic employee who said we were set for two queen beds as ordered Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room, and politely asked what our options were Another unhelpful employee told they were sold out and “could either stay in that room or go somewhere else” We opted to stay, but we had 4 lousy (and I mean terrible these things sucked) pillows for 4 guests We asked for a couple more and were told they had none Really? You mean a hotel has no backup pillows?Later that evening we decided we’d go swimming The pool sign states they are open 6-11 But, the doors were chained up Again, we asked politely why the pool wasn’t open yet and they said “uhhh the hours are 11-8” At this point, I was frustrated and stated “well that’s not what the sign says,” to which I was told “we used to have a sign but someone took it down”Apparently this place has exactly one pillow per person and no one proactive enough to print off a sheet of paper to alert guests they’ve (very randomly) changed their pool hours Finally at checkout, I was greeted with a smile and a hello for the first time, so I went to that employee’s desk, but one of the rude employees cut the nice one off, called me over to her desk and made sure to send me off with a few final scowls for good measure

I want to thank MsMonique for her efforts and patience to soothe myself and my husband during our stay she kept it real with us and never cracked While staying at any hotel you basically get what you pay for nothing will ever be perfect and one person never has control over everything it’s the team that keeps things afloat so I appreciate you for your team efforts although you were working alone that night we witnessed her work a full 24 shift at the front desk also Mr

Jonathan is awesome as well I appreciate you for accommodating myself and my husband during our stay and you guys truly did your best because we are picky as heck when you have to pinch and squeeze you need your moneys worth so thank y’all for accommodating our needs during our stay blessed!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This hotel is disgusting

the staff may be nice However, the rooms are nasty with dirty walls, dirty floors, paint peeling off the walls, dirty base boards, roaches were in the refrigerator some were dead and some aliveI put the fridge outside and the bugs continued to come out of the fridge I called the office to bring another one which never happened There was no hot water at all in the bathtub Though the sink had hot water Requested for the maintenance person to fix it He refused to fix it The office offered to put us in another room but for whatbefore checking in I looked at three different rooms and the one I chose was the decent looking one at that moment I called the office personnel to inform them of every detail I have just stated about and nothing was done about the cleanliness of this room I was disgusted with the hotel rooms Again, Do Not Stay here!

I stayed at this hotel twice, 1 month and 3 month respectively while working on my degree The monthly booking option and rate has been extremely helpfull at that specific time and without that it could have been just “without comment” The management team is professional, available

I admired the professionalism, energy, work ethic demonstrated by Monique, with small child and new bornI felt safe at the location and had no issue The people live their lives and don’t bother at all I have learned a lot just by observing and could see so much gentle humanity behind difficulties

Room itself was very spacious and had a great layout Biggest issue was there was that the water supply was cut off to the toilet (somewhere outside of room apparently), so I had no working toilet during the entire stay Other than the one front desk receptionist, there were no employees in the hotel – including maintenance

The receptionist (after several hours and a couple of requests) tried to find water supply but couldn’t The hotel was fully booked so I couldn’t be transferred to another room and the restroom in the lobby was also out of order The phones and TV remote in the room also didn’t work so I couldn’t watch TV Didn’t even get an apology upon leaving, let alone a credit or refund that should have been done

The staff at this hotel are not only unfriendly but also very rudeThere was no one at the front desk and the staff were all lying on the sofaWhen we said we needed more towels, the staff fought in front of us asking each other to bring towels to us

The room door didn’t open because I was given a key that didn’t work, and when I went to get a new key, big black woman responded very unkindlyWhen I asked towel next dayThey said they don’t have towel anymore lolEvery experience I had at this hotel was the worst, it wasn’t professional at all and I was always offended by the attitude of the staffWe hope that everyone who sees this review will make a wise choice and will never again have an unpleasant experience like ours

Mark Headrick

Opted to stay here yesterday and I definitely made the right choice,I travel and work it was convenient to where I needed to be at Very clean inside and out a well maintained community I might add the personal from front desk to cleaning staff just nice and hospitable as could be,so if you work and travel that’s what you want I consider that a plus Easy from many different roads and also interstate access I-85&Jimmie Carter Blvd

And there’s plenty of other amenities you might need in all directions things to consider when you are out traveling

ATTENTION EVERYONE THINKING ABOUT BOOKING HERE!! If you want safety and cleanliness, this is NOT the place The receptionist is kind and trying her best but this place is in complete disrepair1

Upon entering my room a foul and dingy smell hit me despite their attempts to mask the smell with a horrible artificial smelling air freshener2 There were mystery stains all over the sheets Torn and stained curtains But it gets worse…3 once I entered the bathroom I stepped on not one but TWO roaches There are holes in the bathroom where the roaches enter & exit4 Believe the reviews about bed bugs…THERE ARE BED BUGS!! And multiple other kinds of bugs here5 the parking lot is SO UNSAFE!! If you are a woman traveling alone please stay armed There are VERY sketchy people hereA true HOTEL NIGHTMARE!! You & your belongings are not safe here I checked out IMMEDIATELY after checking in

Josh Atkins

There should be an option for zero stars! There were so many things wrong here, I will just work through them as we saw them Just FYI this trip was my wife, 3 small children, and myself First off, no parking

We were told to park at the urgent care next door The lot only had about 15 spaces for the entire property Unloading I could here the transformers on the power pole buzzing, also looked as old as I am(not a management issue) Floors were dirty and sticky in lobby and elevator, evidently hadn’t been cleaned all day The room was the worst thing I have ever seen(note photos) The amazing young lady at the front desk tried to help us change to a better room, problem was they weren’t any better She refunded second night but couldn’t get first night to credit Thankfully I was able to located a much better place to stay sane night

Jason Billops

No issues with the service at all But most of my time was spent in the room which was not clean by any hotel’s standards The carpet was barely vacuumed and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling

Then there were things that housekeeping can’t control Like the cracked tub, dents and scratches in the doors and the damaged TV screen This place is old and they don’t invest in the upkeep It even smells old Reminds me of a hostel

Anyone looking for an apartment in the city but not in a high populated area, this is where you should stay! Overall experience of moving in was a breeze thanks to the every staff member I’ve met in the leasing office being helpful but most importantly professional The apartment itself is spacious and definitely gives that luxury feel I am so happy I found this place

Moved in in December 2021 and literally no complaints

vatrese clark

This review is soley about the individuals who maintenance and service the apartment building Specifically Jay- he has been the biggest help in so many ways He is timely, efficient, and professional

He really does great work and he is always visible You never have to wait an extensive mount of time for repairs and he gets the job done quick He is also extremely personable and nice!

Nelson Rincon

Overall, AMLI Piedmont Heights is great There are a few minor things like every other apartment complex but nothing to cry about The maintenance here is great, specifically Jerel; he’s a maintenance team member here at AMLI Piedmont Heights

He will go above and beyond to make sure everything gets fixed correctly and in a timely manner Hopefully, he stays at AMLI for a long time because I don’t know what they would do without him Tim in the leasing office is really helpful too Whenever I have an issue regarding keys, parking, etc, I know that he’ll be super helpful
