I don’t know why this property is rated two star Our experience was way beyond that ranking The property is very clean with a lobby that makes a good first impression

The staff are still seemingly following strict cleaning protocols Our room was also very clean with “interesting” square bed pillows They were comfy and we both has great night’s sleep The hotel’s breakfast is goodstandard hot bar fare Not wild about their brand of coffee machine Stuff like that is just me being picky I would stay at this property again

carlos cuesta

Rooms were nice and clean Staff was ok, friendly and helpful Could smile a bit more though

Breakfast was very light Bacon was paper thin and small Ice maker on our floor broken Second elevator broken Had Roku tv in room with no instructions and front desk did not know how to operate I figured out myself The property was nice just needs a bit more attention from management Would i stay there again, yes, but concerned property may not be maintained for my next stay

This is a great place for a family get away We’ve been going here for over 10 years It’s great to be there on the weekend or a holiday weekend

There are more activities by the pool during these days It is slower on the weekdays but still fun The campfire is great and it’s always fun to do the movie on the lawn The kids love the slide and the water slide races are a family favorite The free mini golf is also a favorite Not to mention the ability to go to the beach We always stay in the 2 person villas and bring food so we can make lunch and dinner

Zachary Pickett

We’ve stayed here 3 different times and have always appreciated the location, service and amenities away from the bustling Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando that we more often do Getting here from the Orlando International Airport isn’t too bad, and the surrounding Vero Beach/Sebastian area has plenty to do Check-In staff are courteous and helpful and take the initiative to offer suggestions on places to eat and visit

Rooms are well-kept and well-supplied, though the washing machines take a long time to run, and you can hear every time someone in the room above you moves a chair or other furniture on the hardwood floor You get beachfront access and can also purchase a set of chairs and an umbrella at a reasonable cost Pool is nice to have as well as the little nature trails that can be accessed via the underground tunnel There’s more development going on west of Isle Grove Cir, so not the most ideal thing to look at Restaurant is decent, and their gift shop is a bit small and has a somewhat limited variety on clothing options Overall, it doesn’t feel like a resort that overdoes it on anything exclusively Disney-related It’s a great option for a good getaway by the ocean during late winter-early spring

TC L

We always stay on Disney properties because of the reputation for service and cleanliness When we got here our room had a strong smell of the fragrance spray they use when cleaning It seemed to be covering a musty smell

However, they got us to a new room which was just fine That’s why we stay at Disney properties They always work to make sure your stay is good The resort is on a beautiful stretch of beach and offers plenty of water fun The pool isn’t as big as some Disney pools, but this is a smaller resort Overall a great place with friendly staff The one down side, as with all Disney resorts, is the prices for everything Disney is just extremely expensive and often prices out families from being able to go I hope they review all the additional fees they have recently added and go back to pre-covid fees

This place is incredible A beautiful place with beautiful people to boot My waiter was absolutely amazing, even though he was Swamped

The food was out of this world and coupling that with the view of the ocean was just perfect When your here, even a little rain can’t ruin your timePS Get a voodoo bucket!

Robert Daza

Breathtaking view in their outdoor seating section Of course their was a wait to sit outside but we ordered drinks from the bar while we waited and just enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather Our server was AMAZING and explained to us all the shipwrecks in the area to include the history of the one located out from the outdoor seating area

Can’t wait to go back!

M Burnam

I really don’t remember the food but it’s a great place to hangout and listen to bands during the afternoon and you can’t ask for a better location On the beach and on the main stripI have never stayed here but plenty of friends have it’s so cool

There was no towels in the bathroom The lobby looks So Nice while the rest of the property is dirty and worn I’ve never been to a hotel where there’s only two sheets on the bed, no blanket

Fixtures are old and the plugs for charging my phone didn’t work The bed was very uncomfortable The best thing was good air conditioning and cable TV

Melody Berger

Never again for the price stay at theHoliday Inn express or Hampton Inn This Comfort Suite is more along the of lower quality hotelStain on the carpet

Holes in the curtain I’m a night shift nurse and can’t block out the lights because the curtains won’t go together Lamp shades are cracked Paint chipped out of the wall, carpet ripped up by the door OK it’s clean No breakfast like the other places It’s got cereal or prepackaged danish The gym is closed Along with other problems I had Yes the people are nice But for $277 first night That I didn’t stay because I was at work and then 210 for the second day that I actually slept Checked in at 8 am and checked out same day at 6pm to go to work Other places would let you do an early check in if they have a room available not here A plan farther in advance next time for me Was not offered a discount for being over 55 was not offered a price match which I find out that they will do after looking online today

This place has been visited by my family for years (Like 40, lol)Great stuff to do; pool, shuffle board, tennis court, corn hole, board games to check out Nice 2 bed 1 bath apartments with full kitchens (minus a dishwasher)You can rent a little boat (once their docks are finished)

Great beach area along the river to relax and a great covered deck area right next to that for Oyster Bay guests onlySeveral great local bars and restaurants within a few blocks

Joe

Never in my life have I ever seen such a rude staff Their boat dock is under repair, so we brought our own boat We called ahead and they said there was plenty of parking

When we got there from 10 hours away, a girl named Pam told us not only could we not park there, but we couldn’t even take 5 minutes to rinse the salt water off our boat, which will cause serious corrosion and the paint to peel When I asked her where I could rinse my boat off, she told us, quote, “I’m the general manager and I have important things to do and do not have time to help you, plus I don’t care” Can you believe this??????? Stay away until she is fired and someone who has customer service is brought in We are owners of the time share for crying out loud, not tenants in an apartment building!

Joe z

So i have been coming here for 30 yrs My father and step father both have worked here My step dad worked the boat dock back in the early 90s when it use to exist on the other side of captain Hirams

This hotel has housed my whole family over the years, from my sister when she came back from basic training to myself when i returned home from Afghanistan and it has not disappointed me on this trip at all I hope the owners know that they have customers that have literally grown up using this hotel and have families continue to use it because of the respect they treated their staff with I learned to swim in this hotels pool and now im teaching my daughter to do the same 30 years later!

Scenic getaway on a beautifully maintained property with a private beach Our cottage was was perfect and everyone we spoke to was very friendly! The level of care and attention to detail was clear throughout our stay We arrived to a handwritten letter, fresh fruit, and local coffee on the counter and water and juice in the fridge

Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated by a local artist The bed was super comfortable and the waterfall shower was perfect after a day outside We watched the sunrise on the swings in front of the water and enjoyed the beautiful view Other couples took out kayaks or bikes while we had coffee on the porch and talked with another guest Island View Cottages is a special place and I am looking forward to going back soon!

It is hard to describe the gem of a location! It is a 55+ location so if you have children, don’t look here I almost hate to reveal so it doesn’t get impossible to book My brother and I are traveling all around Florida and this is by far the best RV Resort we’ve been to

Situated along with the Intercoastal this resort has beautiful sites that are well outfitted with lounge chairs with cushions, a coffee table, picnic table, and a grillA few, are right on the water but honestly, it doesn’t matter There is a lounge/dock right over the water with comfortable furniture for lounging, eating, or playing games while watching the sun rise, set, birds and fish The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating

stephanie crippen

This park is not only breathtakingly beautiful, it is clean and wonderfully maintainedThe manager, CiCi, and her staff are incredible She is kind, funny and always available to help make your stay more enjoyable

This park is a nod to old Florida with great vibes and great views A park as lovely as this with such incredible management is a rare find My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to be here If you come, come with a great attitude and a kind heart, because that’s the kind of people you will find here

Had such a great time here even though we weren’t staying at the resort A friend has a home in Sebastian and we love to stop by for the drinks, food, ambiance, and friendly service Adam was friendly, professional and attentive to each customer, even as it started to get busier

I had the Asian Tuna Nachos, which were phenomenal I also ordered a house salad to round out the meal, and it was delightful The live music was a great touch and easy to sing along with

Melissa Shinder

The food and service were great! The tuna nachos were especially delicious The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the cocktails were incredibly lacking in alcohol and tasted like pure juice Brought it to the attention of the waitress who didn’t really offer any solution

So we ended up ordering shots and using our drinks as chasers 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will be back for the food, but will drink elsewhere!

Nicky P

Currently staying here for our anniversary, staying in the marina view room When we walked into our room we were amazed with what we walked into, a freshly beautifully remodeled room with amazing views!!! The room was super clean and everyone has been so nice and inviting Lots to do to keep you busy here on the property

Last night hung out at the sandbar and listened to the live music I love being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live music and look at the amazing views of the marina Will be back for sure

Absolutely amazing suites SO quiet Nice amenities

Can’t even tell it’s across from a small airport! We’ll stay longer next time just to enjoy the room! We did get there an hour before check-in and they were sticklers for the 4pm, so watch your arrival When we went back at 4, no one was at the desk for 20 minutes But after the rough start, everything was so pleasant that it made up for that

We found this place on google Just what we was looking for Call, spoke with owner

Great rates, right on the ocean Super nice people Loved every minute of our two day stay One thing please don’t let the front of the motel make you not try them They have alot of natural plants out front growing Enjoy our photos you’ll see what I mean

Sarah Rae

This was a lovely little in Small, secluded, simple, and quiet The road behind can be a little noisy but really not bad

The yard and gazebo are nice The ocean view and access are great Awesome beach with shells, crabs, pelicans, ibises, sand, plants, and fish Small inn means few neighbors and the neighborhood is quiet too The inn is more like staying at a friend’s house than a motel It is quaint, oddly decorated, and while tidy and clean, it is not the hyper sanitary clean you expect at bigger hotels or resorts Our room did have a strong smell like burnt plastic that persisted through the stay but we bought air freshener to spritz when we were there The coffee machine, fridge, microwave, and fully stocked kitchen is awesome nice Aside from the smell, I was pleased

I had a great time at this hotel We only spent one night but it was enough to make a lasting impression The staff was indeed IMPRESSIVE

They were friendly and helpful My husband and I were uncertain about where to find a place and Burna, on her way to her do her day’s work, stopped by to enquire what she could help with AND in addition, stopped what she was doing to show us where to go Shout out also to Phil This young man is not only friendly but also, meticulous and observant He pays attention to detail and does a fantastic job at what he doesPlease visit this hotel You won’t regret it

Lauren Mainville

My Boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and it was an okay stay but definitely not worth the money spentWe stayed in the Jacuzzi SuiteThey were under staffed but incredibly friendly Shout out to the Front Desk Attendant and Breakfast Attendant

They were amazing Breakfast was good, they had chocolate chip waffles and bacon! We stayed on the 2nd floor, which the only complaint there is that you have to go to the 1st or 3rd floor for the ice machine Otherwise it was quietOur bed was awful Hard and lumpy We left in more pain than we started with We got the room specifically for the Jacuzzi and it was not impressive They didn’t clean from the people beforehand, there was dirt on/in the tub and a clump of hair that was floating around when we started filling the tub! If the controls got wet they turned off And the floor was extremely slippery, I slipped a couple of timesThe bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the shower had no water pressureWe could not wait to be home We have a small shower/tub at home and my boyfriend rather have soaked in that than the Jacuzzi! It was basically like staying at a motel 8 but completely expensive

I like the “Homey” feel about the resort It doesn’t feel like a busy hotel at all I love how close it is to the beach from my oceanfront room

The bathroom was very spacious and had plenty of hooks to hang towels They even had a thin clothes line in the shower to hang wet bathing suites Great water pressure Tub could have been cleaned a bit better TV instructions were vague and could not get Netflix as instructed Staff very friendlyBobby’s restaurant attached to the resort – although it had a great vibe was a disappointment! I ordered bacon wrapped scallops and it was not fresh at all I got the feeling it was prepared earlier in the day and was heated up for me Bacon hard and dry I also ordered stuffed shrimp I got 3 very small shrimp with nothing else for $1800The Balcony had an awesome ocean-view very relaxing but switch out the chairs, they are super uncomfortable Perhaps get the same chairs that are by the pool for the balcony’s Your whole bottom can not fit on the chairs and you cant put your head back Get rid of the cushions, they stay damp, attract bugs and hold stainsCheck – in went very smoothly but I must say 4 pm check in is just wrong I paid full price for my room and half the day is over before I can gain access Perhaps hire one or two more housekeepers so the rooms can get cleaned faster or maybe prorate the first night That check in time is almost a deal breaker for mostOverall a really cool little place to get away to Thank you Reef Ocean Resort
