The suite was beautiful That’s not the issue though When I called and made reservations I was told that the room that I booked had 2 private rooms, which was need because there was another adult that needed her own privacy

When I checked in paying my money was perfectly fine of course When we got up in the room it wasn’t quite what was described to me over the phone I called down and spoke with front desk only to get attitude from the on duty manager The first thing she blurted out her mouth was that “you can check out” if you want I drove 4 hours to get here and paid my hard earned money(300 plus dollars) just to be given an attitude At this point I’m annoyed She told me there’s no need to escalate this matter to higher management because they also can’t do anything I’ll come back after I speak with someone that has more class and give you’ll an update I’m not a happy customer at this point I really wish I could give zero stars for poor customer service

My wife and I travelled to Atlanta for an event and spent the night at Stonehurst Place I can’t recommend this B&B enough Aside from being an amazing property with a long history, John and Grace were amazing hosts

The hospitality was second to none The home was everything I wish my own home was The complimentary dessert that awaited us was a great end to the evening The breakfast the next morning was shockingly good It doesn’t get much better than fresh berries over Greek yogurt topped with a red wine reduction and butter pecan bread pudding French toast with sausage We are already trying to figure out when we can go back Thank you Stonehurst Place! Thank you John and Grace!

Rema Merrick

My new husband and I had a small, intimate wedding at Stonehurst Place John and Grace made our special day amazing The cake, bouquet, boutonnière and room they provided were amazing

And, I can’t say enough about the breakfast the next morning They even accommodated our vegan and vegetarian preferences They treated us like family I highly recommend

Toya Neely McMillan

The most amazing bed & breakfast Rare art featured inside as well as anything more (books, magazines, paintings, etc) an art lover could hope for John and Grace run the b&b and their attention for detail along with Grace’s scrumptious breakfast and homemade pastries were stellar

The rooms were so clean as well as very comfortable beds with the freshest of sheets —they smelled amazing I was lucky to have some downtime to explore the house and I still felt as if there was something I didn’t see each time I left and came back 10/10 would recommend and definitely stay again

Anyone looking for an apartment in the city but not in a high populated area, this is where you should stay! Overall experience of moving in was a breeze thanks to the every staff member I’ve met in the leasing office being helpful but most importantly professional The apartment itself is spacious and definitely gives that luxury feel I am so happy I found this place

Moved in in December 2021 and literally no complaints

vatrese clark

This review is soley about the individuals who maintenance and service the apartment building Specifically Jay- he has been the biggest help in so many ways He is timely, efficient, and professional

He really does great work and he is always visible You never have to wait an extensive mount of time for repairs and he gets the job done quick He is also extremely personable and nice!

Nelson Rincon

Overall, AMLI Piedmont Heights is great There are a few minor things like every other apartment complex but nothing to cry about The maintenance here is great, specifically Jerel; he’s a maintenance team member here at AMLI Piedmont Heights

He will go above and beyond to make sure everything gets fixed correctly and in a timely manner Hopefully, he stays at AMLI for a long time because I don’t know what they would do without him Tim in the leasing office is really helpful too Whenever I have an issue regarding keys, parking, etc, I know that he’ll be super helpful

On my wife’s google account, but

Atlanta accommodations was a great experience I needed a short term rental for a few months without a long contract as I was only there for work for an unspecified time and this was the answer unless i wanted to live in an economy hotel for not much less or spend way more money to stay in a nice hotel The apartment was really nice and rates were reasonable per the no contract pricing Luis, Nancy, and Suzanne were all really helpful I would definitely recommend Atlanta Accommodations, especially for insurance adjusters

HMU Tips and Tricks!

I have stayed at these properties several times while on extended stay in ATL for work The property is a secure, comfortable environment that offers a relaxing atmosphere with all the comforts of home When away from home for a while, laundry and the ability to have a kitchen is such a comfort

The management is quick to respond and is very accommodating The cost is reasonable in relation to a hotel that does not offer the same level of amenities I strongly recommend this opportunity to fellow business travelers

We stayed last night here and the staff was so very friendly The hotel itself was very clean Our room was set up nicely for watching football as they have a chair and footstool

We had a refrigerator, microwave king size bed and walk in shower Close to a couple restaurants and options for deliveryThe complimentary breakfast was set up nicely and eggs and sausages were good!!I would definitely stay here again

Nisha

I liked this hotel and the staff was nice when I first got there, but after a couple days, I could feel as if I wasn’t wanted there I would book my room the night before to help me save money and I worked overnights dancing I was staying there until I was able to find my own place

These people put me on the do not rent list I never smoked in that room, never was loud, and I made sure that room was cleaned before I had left The manager would ask if I needed housekeeping and I said no only because I was barely there and I danced overnights I didn’t have much time to clean during my stay, so I refused housekeeping I’m not sure if they went in my room while I was gone However, I made sure that room was cleaned before I had checked out And I left them a nice review on Expedia but I’m taking it back

Bobbi C

Hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside but the room was very nice They have up to date amenities and a very nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, gravy etc Wifi works very good in comparison to some hotels

Although we weren’t going to use it, the pool was not “in service” It obviously has not been cleaned or prepped for use this year The bathroom is small and has a sliding door (which is kinda weird) but has a walk in shower and the water pressure is amazing

I had to write when I read the negative review from six years ago – really? My husband and I stayed with Eleanor at the Inman Park B&B a few months ago and loved it The location is fantastic, Eleanor is an amazing woman and the house is full of history and charm I’m about to book a room there again and will continue to do so everytime I come to Atlanta

Couldn’t ask for better!

Hawk Dobrich

We went to stay here and we were totally confused The pics look great and clean one on site it wasn’t nearly alive at all Our was upstairs and it’s show on the pic as two double beds

So to give us a king bed they pushed the two bets together The bathroom you have to go thru the common area , so being fully dressed is a must of you wish to go from you room to the bathroom The stat is outside of the room so controlling the with the door closed would be an issue Since we left we still paid for the day

Perfect location for experiencing Atlanta with comfortable room, accommodating hosts, quiet and a nice pool to cool off in the summer heat We enjoyed the easy access to the beltline trail which is literally adjacent to the property though you have to walk around the corner to get to it We rented scooters and went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, such fun

Many good restaurants are an easy walk or Uber away Appreciated the boiled eggs on the weekday Continental breakfast offerings Would definitely stay here again Note: the owners do have well mannered large dogs

Peter Logan

Judi and Duane were dream hosts – friendly, accommodating and superb conversationalists! The converted industrial space was stunning Our room was well furnished, spacious and clean The BnB is in the heart of a vibrant mixed-use / residential neighborhood with great restaurants, including Krog St Market

Judi and Duane gave us a walking tour along the Belt Line and filled us in on the recent history of the neighborhoodWe will definitely stay here again when we visit Atlanta!

Kevin Cantwell

Very nice and welcoming hosts (Duane and Judi) Excellent location near the Beltline, the Market across the street, the Little Five Points neighborhood a few blocks away, the A Cappela boostore (not to be missed if you’re a reader or writer of any kind — many other happening street scenes If you’re a dog person you will love their dogs; if you’re not a dog person, you will never know they have them

Wonderful little pool on the deck and a lush garden of very interesting plantings Make sure you ask about the history of the building We look forward to visiting again

LeVerage Flost

I’m writing this review in regards to a reservation that I was in the process of making with Dobbins Air Force Base Lodging, on Friday, 14 July 2022I’ve made previous reservations and stayed at this lodging on numerous occasions but this is the first time I’ve been treated with total disrespect The reservation clerk made known that there was availability for the dates that were given and had gone so far as to take all of my information, as well as, my credit card information

I overheard a voice speaking to her in the background and then suddenIy I was told there was no availability for the days requested and that I should go on my side (Army) to make a reservation I am a retired ID card carrying DoD Civilian (Army) and also, have a retired DoD/Uniformed Services ID card (Army) This is the first time that I’ve ever been cut off from completing a reservation with this lodging and told to go on my side (Army) to make a reservation There was no apology given nor remorse in her voice for blatantly cutting off the completion of the reservation

Abi Adams

The staff is EXTREMELY rude (except for Kimberley and the house keeping ladies) The rooms usually have some sort of damage to them – broken a/c, toilet doesn’t flush, bugs, mold, unfinished sealant around the shower Definitely stay off base if you can

It is not worth the $110/night and not worth dealing with the disrespectful staff

Daniel

I’m really not sure why anyone would stay here if they had to pay for it themselves Over $100 for this place is absurd No hot water in the morning, bathroom lights are always out, mattress is worse than sleeping on the floor, etc

Some of the staff are great but others clueless If you forget your razor they’ll still charge you 25 for one Might as well stay off base at decent place for this price What happened to the days of military benefits? Ridiculous!

Sugar Magnolia B&B is a beautifully restored home that has preserved all of the charm of its original construction The location is very close to multiple businesses and restaurants while also being somewhat secluded in a nice neighborhood As nice as the house is, the staff is even better! Kathryn in particular was the highlight of our stay

Not only did she make us a wonderful breakfast and fantastic coffee each morning, but she was so kind and lovely to talk to I will be looking to stay here again in the future upon returning to the Atlanta area

Jamie Morrison

Sugar Magnolia is a beautiful Queen Anne style home and my husband and I absolutely loved staying at this home for the weekend We stayed in the the Royal Suite and the jacuzzi tub was awesome Kathryn was a wonderful host and I enjoyed trading stories about all of our silly cats together

The staff is very warm and friendly They are very informative and have great conversation I love the fact that they care about their guests’ wellbeing Kathryn, the innkeeper, made sure to ask, well in advance, if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions before preparing a delicious breakfast Greeted us by name every morning and gave a warm hug goodbye when we left You definitely are not treated like just a number while at Sugar Magnolia
