Lots of bang for the buck! Large, clean room, which had a sofa and two tables Nice bathroom with granite countertops and granite bath surround, non-slip surface on the tub and lots of grab bars The bed was not the newer kind but it was comfortable enough

Lots of drink and snack machines Free continental breakfast Friendly and helpful staff

I stayed at this hotel for a week My experience was not good I was lied to, and they stated that they did not charge a hotel deposit

When I arrived, they charged me a $100 deposit I was not happy about this I do not appreciate being lied to Also, the room was very uncomfortable My left side of my face broke out The place was itchy, and the lights were dim I could not even see to do my homework and to do my class virtually Not worth the price This place has a funny smell Now it was little a peaceful but no stores around The hotel is located in a very deserted place

Nothing special about this hotel but it is very convenient for my one night stay as I’m on a road trip The room was very clean and bigger than I expectedI was able to check in late around 10:30pm and the front desk was quick to arrive

The room has tons of channels and a microwave with fridge Small breakfast area has the essentials: plates, utensils, cups I’d definitely stay here again for the great price For a single night stay, it’s great Might look into a different place if staying for more than a night

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel and it’s mostly due to the staff I had the pleasure of speaking to Melanie, Andrew, and the GM Summer and everyone was absolutely delightful You can see that they have such a good team dynamic in there because everyone is so amazing and you can feel the energy

The only reason why I knew Summer was the GM was because of her name tag and that is a good thing She was so nice to everyone and ready to do any job need be I could tell that the team there loves what they do and they made me love staying there just after one nightThe beds were comfy, room was nice, and there was no lingering musty smell in the roomsThank you all for such a great experience!

I was on a business trip from Canada to NJ, I have stayed other hotels before this one This hotel is new and clean, the staff at the front desk is very warm and helpful, they even let me check in early in 9Am The check in process and other service is efficient and quick

I had experienced of waiting long time for simple task at NJ a lot, but not this oneAlso the furniture and carpet in the hotel room are in relatively light colour, so that you can tell it is clean or not, and the room is bright They are not like other hotels that everything is in dark Really liked itFeel like exhausted traveller found some comfort finally at this hotel

The hotel rooms were clean and organized, had a reasonably good view, and were close to various stores/restaurants, making it a good location The reception was friendly and accommodating Overall, in terms of the rooms, 5/5The only problem we had was with regards to the bistro

We had reserved a room that included free breakfasts that were to be picked up at the bistro Each time we faced a variety of issues The cashier often “conveniently forgot” to add particular items to our order, made bagels with either two tops or two bottoms and with a micrometre of cream cheese The first day we arrived there was no chef, meaning no hot meals (which was understandable) The next day, when the chef was in, we decided to order eggs For $850 plus tax, these were the smallest portions for the most mediocre eggs and bacon, not to mention the extra charge for toast, which was around $150-$250! Our experience with the bistro was a solid 1/5If you are looking for a good hotel with a nice view and convenient location then Courtyard North Brunswick is a solid choice, provided you avoid the bistro

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be disappointedRooms are clean and so is the lobby and hotel overall I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in the area and the Heldrich is one of the nicest One of the great things about this hotel is it’s surrounded by a lot of restaurants You can literally walk across the street and be at a number of fine dining restaurants within 40 feet of the hotel doors It simply makes life easier if you are visiting in the area Hotel management is very nice and accommodating as well

We were traveling from out of town and stayed here for a night Room was very big and spacious No complaints except that room service did not come unless I requested a clean

Also I stepped on a pin needle?! I let the cleaning room service know and she saw it her self She plainly said we clean the carpet when we vacuum but we don’t always guarantee that everything comes up! They are so lucky my 5 year old or crawling 11 month old did not get stuck with it…or else there would be a lawsuit pending! Manager was nice to offer us free breakfast but unfortunately our flight was leaving at 3am and couldn’t accept his offer Management was suppose to get back with us about the incident and still haven’t heard back I would not recommend this hotel not very professional at all

Bhaumik Parekh

We had the worst experience staying at this hotel! I would not recommend it to anybody as their staff service is worst than a motel We paid $500 for 2 nights that is way expensive than any 3-4 stars hotel considering that we will also get good service from the staff for the price that we paid but that was not the case We asked for microwave and they told us we will be charged $25 for it, first of all which good hotel charges for microwave

We were ready to pay for it at the end but turned out they did not even have one in their inventory! We asked for extra comforter as I was feeling too cold and their thermostat was also not working to set the temperature, they did not give extra comforter as well We kept waiting but staff did not provide anything The phone was also not working from room so every time for any room service we had to go all the way down ourselvesWorst place to stay , please do not waste your money here as we already wasted ours!

I popped in for a quick overnight The hotel pricing (double queen) on a Sunday night was very affordable The hotel itself is a bit older, but recent upgrades keep amenities modern

You can tell from the carpet in the hallways and wear spots on doors, yet the bathrooms in the rooms are much newerThe rooms and beds were comfortable The hotel is away/offset from any major roads, so the stay was quiet from any outside disturbancesThe breakfast fare (as identified in other reviews) is average for $17/person: the “hot” food in the buffet was warm; the fruit was fresh crisp; the breads and muffins were freshAll of this was packaged in the standard DoubleTree charm, including helpful staff and the signature cookies

Pretty good First impression was finding a hair in the mini fridge and the sink Not that big of a deal

Room was fine for my wife and two sons The following day we experienced an unruly mob of guests running through the hallways, smoking weed in the stairwell, pulling fire alarms and using fire extinguishers for fun Fire alarm went off in the entire hotel and had to evacuate for at least an hour Very inconvenient and inconsiderate to all guests Thankfully they were kicked out and hopefully will never returnThe staff was very friendly upon arriving The restaurant was also very nice to have on the premises Great food and staff

Room was about $200 which I didn’t mind spending for my 2 kids because I was told breakfast was included and they had a pool! Got to the room and there is no microwave in the so called suite to warm food up The separate room was so little it looks like a bed inside a closet! The pull out sofa bed was not made and had a balled up sheet inside of it! The pool area has bugs! Many bugs! There were no towels available in the pool area in the afternoon/evening when the kids wanted to swim or the next morning! Had to bring the towels from the room! Took the kids to the breakfast area and was stopped and advised that breakfast wasn’t included and I needed to pay an additional $1999 per person including for the kids! Went to the desk where I advised that I was told on more than one occasion that breakfast was included with my price , but was basically told it didn’t matter and that I wasn’t a gold member to get the breakfast! I felt as though I was brushed off

I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN? What did I pay $200 for? A little room! I will make sure to let my friends and family know to NEVER stay at double tree!

We enjoyed our stay here My family stayed in the 2 queen suite with pullout couch The beds were comfortable

Shower pressure was strong The breakfast was okay They had a variety to choose from each morning There was always coffee in the lobby as well We stayed here to visit NYC, which was about 30 min with traffic to the Staten Island ferry Which I highly recommend My youngest daughter enjoyed the pool as well Water temps were comfortable… the hot tub could have been a little warmer To access the pool and fitness area you need to have the front desk personnel key you in, which u thought was weirdThey do not provide bedding for the pullout couch so u need to call down for that but they are prompt once called The road it’s on is quite busy but I honestly didn’t hear any traffic until late morning I would stay here again

I used to think of Holiday Inn Expresses as no-frills but pleasant stays Not anymore The room reeked of mold and mildew with damp carpet and blankets

I tried desperately to sleep and woke up at 4 AM unable to sleep anymore because of the moldy smell, finding mold on the window I could feel the cells of disease growing in my body because of the mold On the positive side, the breakfast was good, the room was clean except for the mold, and the check-in woman was nice The breakfast area was extremely hot and unpleasant, however The jacuzzi in the pool area was too cold and had an unbearable amount of chlorine that stung my eyes I can see from the other reviews the hotel staff lie in response to that allegation and state some part of the pool is broken – clearly not true A horrible place to which I vow to never return and couldn’t wait to come home to advise others to steer clear – unless you love breathing mold through your nose and mouth all night

bevin holcroft

This place was horrible! By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Our “suite” smelled of old cigarettes and fresh marijuana There were children screaming and running up and down the halls until after 1:30am When I checked out at 4am to catch a flight, there was were suspicion dealing going on out of the front of the hotel

Do not stay here!!! My in-laws stayed at the comfort inn and had a very nice night, I suggest that as a much better option!

We arrived and was given a room that upon first entry was clean and it appeared everything was fine The room happened to be on the side with a lot of street traffic, which made sleeping the first night completely impossible That next morning, we realized the a/c didn’t work properly and we had an unwanted “guest” (rhymes with coach!) in our bathroom

We spoke with Amanda at the front desk and she was able to move us to the opposite side of the hotel room we were in THAT room was also clean, a/c worked and sleep that night was great! Breakfast selection was nice Amanda is the reason I’m able to give this hotel a better rating than I would have if we stayed in the room we were given

Thallis Miranda

We were very disappointed, I have never left a bad review in any of the dozens of hotels I’ve stayed through the country or world Lights weren’t working, service at front desk neglected to take requests Other customer complaining constantly, one gentleman checked in his room and small daughter to find blood stains on bed sheets

Last time we stayed there we loved it (about 2 years ago) seems like no updates have been done at all since, neither has any repairs There was puke in the entrance sink to the room The paper towel at the lobby men’s bathroom was empty for all 4 days we stayed there Breakfast was dry and cold, attendant didn’t care much when advised about breakfast essentials such as cups and food ran out We paid the same price for what we could’ve paid staying in Manhattan Unfortunately we will not be recommending this hotel neither will we be returning again

Mario Jones

The rooms in this place are extremely out dated and unsanitary However the ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful, that’s the reason why I gave this place at least (2) star’s The breakfast was non existent, no juice only water, nothing but cereal and bread, a few old stale bagels and boiled eggs

We used to love this place, but I can’t imagine recommending this place any longer to my company HR department when our travelers fly into liberty airport
