We drove here from San Diego to watch a race across the street at the dirt track I’ll stay with the pros: The first thing we noticed upon checking in was that the advertised price of $10700 is completely accurate! No hidden fees or extra hotel tax or crazy deposits like we experience in our hometown anytime we want to go on a staycation

The room was really clean, the pool and hot tub are open 24/7 and the beds and pillows are very comfortable, lots of parking, a lovely little gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs, toiletries and snacks etc…good coffee in the lobby and hand sanitizer readily available at all times Now for the cons: the triple 777 cafe was a disappointment, the breakfast buffet is still closed due to Covid and they have the tightest slots I’ve ever played in my life I still give it 5 stars I think we’ll be coming back here again when racing starts back up for sure

Talk about room here in Somerton, Arizona (near Yuma) We are in a two rooms Double queen in one, an one queen in another

Ajoined by a spacious living room, we feel special The living room has its own restroom! 24 hour pool! Of course, the Casino goes on 24 hours, too (though we aren’t here to gamble)! Morning view is beautiful sunrise behind those mountainsOk, we got great rooms on the 3rd floor (top)! Not a sound from the Casino heardAlso We had an issue last night and the front desk was super amazing Nice and responsive Time to tip!!

Orjeana Devereaux

Very professional and friendly staff Rooms are nicely decorated and a accommodating Pool area is clean and towels provided

We visited the pool mid day and it was hot and not crowded Later evening the pool was crowded and loud Tried to turn in early for our long drive home That was not the case due to children running up and down the halls above us until I called the front desk at 12:30am Overall a nice place, next visit We will stay on the third floor!

We love Rolle’s Lynda Vista with its free range chickens, multiple citrus trees and casual atmosphere Help yourself to the fruit it’s free Laundry is$ 0

75 to wash and the driers cost a quarter If you get the right one (2nd from the right end of driers) everything will be dry for sure It’s a hot one Only cash or cheque for payment Arrive before 5:00

Small park in a country setting We originally planned to stay for a month but realized after a week that it wasn’t a good fit Neighbor across the street was extremely inhospitable and had a very annoying Halloween Cat decoration that meowed every time someone walked or drove by

There were also several wild roosters which crowed all night There were a lot of seasonal folks, some friendly and some who didn’t seem to appreciate our presence The laundry room was not appropriate for the size of the park and the swimming pool was not heated (55 degrees!) With a little TLC and updating this pool could be transformed into a lovely gathering spot The grounds and clubhouse also need some attention but the numerous citrus trees in the park bear delicious fruit The manager and owner were super friendly and Bob (owner) was very gracious when we decided to leave earlier than expected and gave us a generous refund Although it didn’t work out for us, I’m sure it would be a great spot for some

Susan Goodwin

Wonderful gem in the middle of the city! Most of the units are winter residents but they also have prime open spots for travelers like us They have a great clubhouse with daily activities if you choose to join in This is about the friendliest campground we’ve encountered over our 50,000 miles of travel

We will definitely stop here again!!!

Definitely not worth the price I paid close to $170 for a single room for one person The room did not contain a microwave, coffee maker nor refrigerator

The room was clean No adult sized towelsWhen I checked in the receptionist was pleasant enough but talked through me like I wasn’t there to a friend who waited behind me There are signs everywhere about wearing masks and social distancing, including a sign stating only one person allowed in the lobby at a time as it’s a very small space However, the rules apparently don’t apply to all as the person behind me was not masked and followed directly behind me The receptionist apparently knew the person and they talked through me as if I wasn’t there

Theresa Schneider

In general, we have always been happy with our stays at this particular Motel 6 It’s clean, lots of restaurants close by, and the freeway noise doesn’t bother usThis time, however, even though we had reserved an ADA room with a queen bed, they were only able to offer us a full when we arrived to check in

Also, NOT pleased that we can’t specifically reserve a non-smoking room online and have to take whatever’s left at the time of our check-in The odor was very annoying, and it traveled home with us on our clothes and luggage Yuck!

Patty Cavanaugh

Where do I start? Beds appear to be as old as the hotel as well as the pillows and bedding No hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, or mostly coffee Freeway noise was obnoxious

Walls seem paper thin so you could hear everything from upstairs as well as beside us I’d rather pay $2000 more and get a room that has been upgraded to at least newer, more comfortable beds and pillows To me, it was disgusting

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I have been in in a long time Covid has really short staffed so many places and many hotels suffer This is not the case here at this hotel

I make a lot of reviews and travel most of the year It is rare to find a very clean hotel where l feel like I can soak in the tub, do my laundry (without a musty/moldy smell), and hang out in the pool and relax The pool was heated and warm It was perfect Breakfast was a warm breakfast with fresh berries and real eggs and yogurt Coffee and tea were always available and the business center allowed me to work and print off some documents The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable What more can you ask for? I will stay here again

Jamie Williamson

We stayed for a month from January to February with our two small kids and a dog and had an amazing experience! The breakfast was very good that even my picky eaters wanted to go to the breakfast every morning for the month As for the staff, they were top notch! This is the first place we have stayed at where every member of the staff was approachable and truely seamed to care about the guests and enjoy their job They made our stay feel like home! Months later my children still say it’s their favorite hotel and miss saying good morning to the manager Wayne

Thank you all for making it a great stay!

Jason Llewellyn

Needed a place to stay due to a blown tire on the 8 last Wednesday 23,022 Wayne Rooks, the manager on duty was top notch and awesome He hooked me up as a Diamond member and made the lousy afternoon of sitting in the car waiting for AAA to arrive

Those Imperial Dunes are no joke Anyways The rooms are dated and show signs of wear The room I was in, still had painters tape and paper blocking half the window The bed was comfortable Food selections for breakfast are great Wayne gets 5⭐ because he’s friendly, nice and makes the guest feel at home

The check in staff was really friendly, and it was a quick process The lobby and room seemed clean, but the bathroom felt a little grimy Our first room had a missing deadbolt, but they were quick and courteous to fix the issue and we got an upgraded room

The location was good with restaurants and entertainment, and overall a nice place to stay, but not a fan of the showers

Kathy L

We had a king room on the 3rd floor The room had everything we needed and wanted Although the hotel is old the room was clean, except for the black long hairs in the shower (I’m assuming they belonged to the housekeeper as otherwise the tub was spotless)

There was a microwave, large sized fridge and freezer, a package-type coffeemaker and a large new tv with all the channels to make most people happy (well, no HBO) The bed was very comfortable and the new a/c was quiet Unfortunately it is a dog friendly hotel and a neighbor went out to dinner Their dog whined, cried, barked and yipped while they were gone

Katherine Bane

The beds were super comfy, the facility is very clean, check-in was a breeze, the grounds are beautiful ⛲, the staff is friendly and all this for a reasonable price! The motto I saw was, “Affordable excellence” I feel like they like ved up to their name We were just traveling thru, but we’d stay a weekend here

Two down sides: the pool was a cloudy green and needed to be dealt with and there are no breakfast options Heck muffins for sale would be better than nothing That is the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars

It is a “Mid-century Modern” motel They work hard to satisfy customer Super good breakfast room package–smart, teamed w the restaurant next door–win win as they say

A/C worked well and good sound control–quiet Good bed Housekeeping seems to be their speed bump– most guests one nite, we were here for 3 We’re seniors and all very accommodating If in the area again this is where we would stay Very fair price price for what you get

Howard Cloud (Howard)

Nothing really unique about this place The only thing historic about this motel would be the dirt on the wall Seems to be over priced for what it is

For the same price you can stay at a modern clean hotel where the a/c doesn’t screech like two eagles mating as they fall through the air The staff is friendly enough Rooms need painting and regular maintenance Went to the restaurant that the motel hasafter ordering and waiting for almost an hour I never received my food Went to IHOP instead Would not stay here again

matthew Hill

Even though There were very few guests they placed me right underneath another guest Also as I sat at an outdoor table the owner asked what I was doing there and when I told her she demanded my room number and said who she was I told her and complained I felt policed and she condescendingly said “I’m sorry you took it that way and drove off

”A beautiful place though and not too expensive I’m a long haired male too so I’m profiled

We stayed here in a emergency situation and had no idea what we were walking into I can tell you from the start of our stay til the end of our stay was excellent! Gabby the concierge was superb in getting us checked in and informing us of all the amenities Including the free breakfast that was very good

Gabby was so polite and professional helping me multiple times with problems I had due to our emergency situation The rooms are clean and very comfortable size Great water pressure in the shower Everyone that I dealt with from the lady that worked the concierge desk opposite of Gabby (sorry didn’t catch her name) as well as the cleaning associate Everyone was amazing! I will definitely be coming back, since we have to come back to the area again in a few months Also as a bonus, there is everything you need with in walking distance or a small ride (less than a mile) most right across the street or next door

Natalie Satterthwaite

We’ve stayed here a couple of times now on our way to CA, and we certainly will again From the outside it’s unimpressive, but inside it’s a desert oasis with lovely plantings and the pool and jacuzzi clean and well-maintained The facility is undergoing a needed overhaul: our AC was noisy, actually waking my husband

In the meantime, a small room is used to serve a complimentary happy hour drink as well as a nice small assortment of breakfast items (good salsa!), including egg, meat, and potatoes The staff was uniformly friendly and efficient

Terri Gleason

Front desk staff polite, willing to go above and beyond Room clean, and what you’d expect these days for the price No water in vending machine, just soda

Breakfast 6 to 9am, too early for us so can’t comment The room appeared newly renovated Need to shower in morning thootherwise water too hot to get in unless you have tolerance for really HOT showers Pool was big Some chairs looked tattered, a towel and plastic glove were in the water on the stairs as you would step down into pool needed some attention for sure, disappointing Ofcourse too hot to get in during the day Pretty view from our room Renovation didn’t disturb our rest at all Staff made up for any “issues” I’d stay again for the price of $11900

Have spent time here 5 of the last 7 winters The golf course and pickleball is what attracted us here 7 years ago We return because of the Awesome people we’ve met and became friends with, NOT the facility

The golf course is terrible, it’s crazy short and little to no turf grass It’s a $20 play but that doesn’t stop them from getting $45 Pickleball use to be so much fun but then they decided to let players from other parks in Well, that didn’t go so good, created some hard feelings and upset the once happy inviting atmosphere Apparently security was a casualty of budget cuts, Covid, help issue or whatever I’m not saying I felt unsafe but it in years past there was a very noticeable security presence, not this year, they don’t check who comes and goes Hey Cocopah management, your squeezing the life out of this park! I feel sorry for the folks that invested in permanent structures in your park, you got them over a barrel but the rest of us have choices and we don’t have to return You batting 500 in your laundry, half of your machine don’t work and that’s been an ongoing problem

Rex Barrong

Lets start with checkin It was easy and streamline Prepaid, so just had to wait for someone to show us our site

The guy who drove us to the site had me back in and then I saw that the sewer hookup was about 40 feet away When I brought it to his attention, he said that sewer belonged to the slit behind me, which was a purchased year around site After 30 minutes of dinking around with phone calls to the office, we were allowed to back up 1/2 on our site and 1/2 on the other site, so I could reach thchecking Never did find our sewer hookupThis place is no where near the casino and you have a long, out of the way, road to travel to get there Drove thru lots of agricultural farm landThe roads are very narrow and the angle of the parking sites go against the 1 way roads, so you end up driving the wrong way on roads to get outLastly, there are many large RV’s here, meaning diesel pushers up to 45′ As you drive down these narrow roads, tree limbs are rubbing on the exterior, as you can’t get off the roads very much because of the soft sodso trim the tree limbs up so these 500k machines don’t ruin their paint jobs

debra renz

The place is nice Golf course is in horrible shape and Picklball is awful, 6 years it’s been a lot of fun but one person took over and has alienated lots of park players and has welcomed out of park players that pay 2500 all year to play on are private courts😡 I pay 650

00 a month for space rent for the amenities here Not to share with out of park players

I don’t begrudge Hilton or its franchisees the right to set prices, but this is unprecedented price gouging for a hotel that has NEVER charged these kinds of prices I paid $300 for a single Thursday night stay My choice obviously, but there were literally no other choices when I had to make an unplanned stopover for a business issue at MCAS Yuma

Given that ridiculous and unwarranted Honors ‘Discount’ rate, the very least Hilton (? franchisee) could do is provide a decent cup of hot coffee when the breakfast bar opens at 6 am Not only was it lukewarm, it was foul, both dark and light roasts Most Hampton Inns where I have stayed in the past provide reasonable good (and hot) coffeeOther than that, it’s standard Hampton Inn mediocrity: noisy hvac units, packaged scrambled eggs, unidentifiable and frightening appearing meat-like substances, stale muffins, old creaky sofa bedsAll of this would be fine if Hilton wasn’t now screwing working class folks with their price-gouging business model as they try to rapidly recover profits lost during the height(s) of the CoVID pandemic before the next wave appears We didn’t cause CoVID, but we are certainly paying for it Everyone in the breakfast bar was talking about itI travel for work frequently and always try to stay in Hampton Inns, but never again They screwed a Gold Hilton Honors member and veteran just because they could
