I loved this place I had got a suite for the weekend for my birthday and it was nice The ice machine worked good and wasn’t a far walk

The elevator was in good condition as well as easy to locate The bed was comfy as well as the couch was a pull out so it was convenient for extra guests I didn’t like the bathroom didn’t have a tub, just a shower And that there wasn’t any toothpaste or mouthwash ,I had to go and get some Otherwise, I would stay here again and I do plan on it in the near future

An enjoyable stay! Certain aspects of the hotel are a little outdated – door keyboard system is a little slow, and certain parts of rooms are beginning to show their age But that being said, the staff was amazingly helpful, and the layout of the room was great! If you have multiple people staying or business to work on, the separate sleeping and casual areas are a plus! No cooking range, but did have a sink, microwave, and small refrigerator We’ll gladly stay here again if the need arises!

Pros – The gentleman who checked me in was friendly, and he offered to help carry my groceries up to my room The bed was really comfortable, and I love the blackout shade Having a fridge and microwave in the room is convenient

It’s also close to the Lodge, and there is a Meijer and a bunch of restaurants nearbyCons – The room was filthy There was dried food and other stuff all over the walls and ceiling The bed and bathroom were clean, though The shower dripped and leaked, so there was water all over the floor The toilet seat was broken and kept sliding around The phone in the room didn’t work, so I was unable to call the front desk to report extremely loud music in the parking lot It was 11:00, and I had to get dressed to go down and report it The young lady at the desk said she couldn’t do anything about it except maybe call the police I went back to my room and called them myself That same vehicle was playing music, partying, throwing trash around, etc every night and woke me up around 2:30 with their screaming The police did several passes through the lot each night (that should be a clue to anyone planning to stay here), but it was always fairly early when nothing was going on Also, I’ve stayed here twice, and it smelled like pot in the hallways and elevator each time I will NEVER stay here again, especially when traveling for business

Baymont/ Victory (they switched names supposedly or go by both)We rented out a king size room When we got in the room we could not even turn the light on, my husband noticed the light was missing a bulb We then went to the fridge and noticed it was still dirty

My husband was already in the restroom where he then noticed there was tissue already in the toilet I told him ooo noo let’s call down and ask for another room the alarm clock was broke, and when I picked up the phone to call help desk I noticed the phone was disconnected So we pack our things and proceeded to the front desk We explained what was going on and he immediately said he was sorry and gave us another room Remind u he didn’t even seem to find this information shocking So we went to the next room ,we instantly began to observe Fridge still dirty the lights work& no clock We figured ok it’s still bad but maybe we can get thru the night We began to get ready for bed where I then noticed stains on sheets My husband was then very frustrated I went to take a shower and instantly started washing up in the sink because I noticed a dirty wash cloth in the shower and a dirty ring in the tub So I do not recommend this hotel to no one I wish I would have took the time to read the reviews And hope whom ever reading this choose somewhere else to lay there head MARCH /2022

Needed room for two days, was looking for something cheaper, found this hotel, went to reserve a room because of the location, pool and hot tub, but when I arrive they told me that their pool is not working for the year now, in the middle of the night I heard water dropping in my restroom from the room above But also they have big parking, it’s right on the highway

The road in is not well maintained, it’s full of potholes Should have been red flag #1 Lobby/common areas are filthy, staff was abrupt

Room was okay Bed was comfortable That’s it Room was outdated, stained, dead bugs smashed on walls Hair in the shower The worst part was when I went to shower this morning, and the water in the shower didn’t work Wouldn’t turn on Didn’t have time to complain to staff, so just left in a hurry I’ve stayed at hostels better than this

Mcgee Family (GangGang Royal)

This place is ghetto don’t let the Livonia part fool you… this hotel needs a deep clean and some professionalism I’m not even understanding why they want a deposit for their rooms and the rooms need a whole makeover do not recommend! Oo and the breakfast was muffins and dirty tasting juice … I’ve never had a experienced like this it comfort inn

Worst hotel ever!! Do not stay here!!! I checked in despite the smell and ugly appearance of the place and it was a terrible mistake I went to the room and the window was broken, it smelled awful, there were stains on the bed and a pipe under the mattress I immediately left was there all of 15 minutes

The receptionist pretended that she didn’t know me when I tried to get a refund the following day via cellphone because she charged me for the entire stay It was a very exhausting and frustrating situation! If I could give this place negative stars I would!

Ryan Putnam

SERIOUSLY, DONT STAY HERE I ignored the reviews when I booked because it was only 38 dollars a night and that was a massive mistake Staff was nice, but unfortunately the whole hotel smells of weed and cigarette smoke, is very dirty and worn down

It doesn’t look like the pictures at all Location was safe enough and we never felt unsafe in the hotel (though our physical deadbolt didn’t work), but the whole place was very dirty Our room was full of stains, crumbs, and even our sheets had a dirt stain on them Our shower had a chunk out of it and did not drain properly either Please choose to stay somewhere else unless the cleanliness and smell issues are fixed

I would NOT recommend this hotel I am not one to leave reviews unless something is exceptional, good or bad In this case, it definitely wasn’t good

The good: Staff was friendly enough and we were able to cancel our second night stay without any difficultyThe bad: the overall appearance of the place was a general state of disrepair The lobby felt cramped and closed in The drawer handles in our room were all loose and would fall off when pulling the drawers open The toilet seat was loose and the toilet continued to run after an initial flush The toilet cover had to be removed and the water bulb adjusted for it to fill completely after each toilet flush Bath towels were fairly small, but they got the job done The TV wouldn’t work initially but the staff was able to fix this fairly readily There was a sizable sticky spot on the carpeted floor The privacy curtains would not close all the way The room next to us continued to have loud conversations until 1:00 AM; we did mention this to the front desk around 12:15 AM and they assured us they would look into it A random women knocked on our door 8:00 the next morning mistaking our room for hers (I realize this wasn’t the hotels fault, but it did not help our experience at all)Some Country Inn locations may be ok, but I would steer clear of this one, especially for the price they are charging

vlora R. Z.

This hotel isn’t too bad, but there are things I would definitely fix if I was the owner, such as, the shower pressure Being a woman with long hair, it took a very long time to shower Another thing is that the radiator in the room that I was staying at sounded like a car alarm when it kicked on

The TV barely worked (not that I went there for the TV, but it’s a nice amenity when you can’t sleep at night) Other than that, it was fine

Molly Danielle

DO NOT STAY HERE I would give zero stars if I could People were running through the halls after midnight

People were also throwing stuff and screaming and hotel staff does nothing about it The people next to us were so rowdy that it was shaking our walls and floor When we called the front desk they didn’t do anything about it They said sorry about that, and the noise continuedIt also took us calling from the hotel room phone and both of our cell phones to get someone to even answer They kept picking up and putting us on hold indefinitely The fact that the rooms are dingy with broken and scratched up furniture makes so much sense after spending a night staying next to the animals that stay at this hotel Additionally, one of my family members is disabled and when we arrived, they informed us that for our week long planned stay that the elevator would be out of order for the entire length of our stay and that they had nothing on the first floor I feel like in this scenario a courtesy call or email is needed so that you can make other arrangements if you need an elevator On top of all this the rooms are dirty with sticky spills from previous guests on the night stands and desks

I stayed in this hotel many times before Usually when the manager is working, everything seems to be alright as she is much more accommodatingThis time my experience was not so great

I came for a business stay The moment I entered the room, there was an odd smell I thought positive and said it’s probably air freshenerThe shower had just barely any pressure, I’m not sure if they’re trying to save on bills but this is not what I expectedThe sink in the room needs attention, the handle slowly turns off the waterSome guests were having a ball right outside the hotel and you can hear them playing music, talking, and laughing pass midnight (12am) The hotel staff did not do anything about itFinally I wanted to leave a day early and asked if I could have a late checkout, the front desk lady said no because the rooms are booked She asked me to check out at 11:00am and not even a minute later

I rarely leave reviews at businesses, but this one, everyone and everything across the board was excellent! Very clean establishment, good ac/heat units, nice beds, hot breakfast (self prepare), gym, shower is good and hot, Buddy’s Pizza is NEXT DOOR plus other eateries are very close by, I could go on and on Best hotel for my needs, I will highly recommend!

Zaneta McCatty

Customer service was great from beginning to end The rooms were dated and just didn’t display the cleanliness we’d hope for The ottoman definitely looks like someone had a happy ending, this was here when we entered

The material coming from the bottom of the couch may seem small to se but to me it’s avoiding a charge for something you didn’t do The heat didn’t work properly unless it was blasting The only noise you could hear was a family having a good time to what sounded like spades (you could only hear them when walking past their room)all I know is they had a good time and he made his books 😂 We had a bit of a snafu and forgot something and again customer service was spot on We were called back about a coat they found in one of the rooms, so like a good mom oi retrieved it only to find out it was not one of the kiddos that joined us but that they found that coat already in the room 😳🤔 How if the rooms are to be cleaned thoroughly after a guests checks out? Aha! It wasn’t cleaned properly which is how a coat was still in there unless it was the workers who had a “happy ending” 🤷🏽‍♀️

Words could almost not describe the experience that I had while staying at The Cochrane House Luxury Historic Inn Everything was first class, from the time that I walked in the door The house was immaculate, the layout of the house was well thought out and must I mention the art…

thats being showcased? The art gives you a Motown vibe and it lets you know for certain that you are chilling not only in luxury, but in the Motor City The 2 owners (sisters) took the time to give us a complete history of the Inn, which left our entire group motivated and proud to see young women embrace the spirit of what makes our city so GREAT! We will definitely be back

Clean, beautiful units, pleasant garden area and common area similar to an English Bed & Breakfast Safe & easy to access parking lot that’s secured Cafe next door for any quick bites or coffee/tea, and community gardens next to cafe

Kind staff Also there are random events like Jurassic Park movie night in Greenhouse with free snacks and drinks – very cute!

Benson May

Lovely experience overall Exactly as pictured, our room was exceptionally clean and well stocked with numerous cute welcome snacks/tea/coffee All-stone shower was a highlight

We stayed in the room with bunk beds and an in-suite bathroom, the space was perfect for two and felt spacious with the separate dining table under the bay windows! Each staff member we met was friendly and excited to share restaurant recommendations and advice about Detroit, and helped make our experience five-star!

Sharla Hunter

Stayed at the El Moore Lodge for New Years Eve 2021 and this hotel is very nice The secure parking was definitely a plus as well as how to access everything upon arrival I stayed in the Moonbeam Cabin and it was exactly like the pictures online

For anyone who stays here in the future they do offer Netflix and Youtube TV The views are spectacular and I would definitely stay here againThe only downside I would say is not being able to access other streaming apps such as Hulu when doing so it asked for a pin, also no phone to be able to call downstairs if needed

I attended a beautiful wedding reception at the Townsend Hotel this weekend The venue was incredible, beautiful flowers, incredible food and drink, and service that was top notch The reason for my review, however, is the lengths the staff went to help me in a funny if not embarrassing incident

I realized that the underside of my shoe had come unglued, making walking quite awkward, and dancing of course, impossible I limped toward the main desk and Sean, the concierge, immediately took note of the problem and radioed his engineer, asking for adhesive Jay, the engineer, appeared with gorilla glue and proceeded to reassemble my shoe including pressing on it and blowing it dry All the while, both were attempting to make me feel less embarrassed and could not have been kinder Believe this or not but after an hour on the dance floor, my other shoe fell victim and once again the staff at the Townsend Hotel jumped to my rescue and repaired it as well Sean and Jay as well as the team at the desk could not have been kinder They helped me make light of the situation and insured that I could revisit the dance floor in no time and enjoy the spectacular wedding Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Townsend Hotel I will honestly never forget your kindness

This location isn’t convenient but it’s worth the experience I’m a Marriott kind of person but this hotel is an awesome hotelRooms seem sound proof, bellman were astoundingly amazing carrying my luggage with such care

The restaurant service is awesome I only at breakfast there The breakfast was typical but service made it taste greatI will stay here again

Brett Ogden

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Birmingham We loved being a short walk from restaurants whether it was a pastry for breakfast, a slice of pizza for lunch, or Bella Piatta for a great dinner across the street Our room was very comfortable but what stood out to me was the shower

Such a great shower! The only downside… as someone who likes to always have a glass of ice water nearby, I didn’t like having to request ice from the bellman

This will be my go-to lodging for Little Caesar’s Arena events! Beautiful inn – main floor, hallways, and guest rooms The rooms are spacious and well-appointed The entire mansion has the feel of luxury lodging

The staff is friendly and helpful The location cannot be beat Just one block from LCA Parking (paid) is right out the back door There was no water glass in the room, but this was probably an oversight Communication could have been better, but the overall experience made up for this

Jonathan Fuhrman

Stayed here because it was the closest hotel to Little Caesars Arena for the Dua Lipa concert Not only was it convenient but as somebody who loves antiques and vintage homes, it was over the top fabulous to stay in In addition to the spacious room and bathroom, there are three seating areas on the main floor that guests can use

Just a very lovely place with great staff Highly recommend!

Thais Ziroldo

I had the worst experience with this place and unfortunately the staff was also not accepting of our complaints as other reviews mentioned The room was disgustingly dirty Dirt everywhere, stains on the sheets, ripped towels and comforter, the blinds of the main window which faces the street wouldn’t shut and there was nothing we could do about it, room temperature cannot be adjusted and it was insanely hot in the rooms, etc

the list goes on and on… there was so much dirt everywhere, pills from previous guests on the couch, rose petals on the floor, etc I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I had such a horrible experience that I literally checked out early after not even 24hrs there and checked in somewhere else I have no idea how this place has good reviews or is considered 4 star hotel Literally the worst hotel I’ve ever been in my life
