I stayed at this hotel May 7-10 while in town for a college graduation The entire staff was professional, courteous and friendly Brandon at the front desk was extremely helpful when I needed to switch rooms due to a plumbing issue and Amanda at the bar made the best Manhattan I have ever had

My stay included a free buffet breakfast which was excellent each morning and our server Ringo provided excellent service The pool was clean and refreshing, the shuttle to Saint Augustine was convenient and the bar was comfortable, on point and reasonably priced The rooms need to be updated The bathrooms in the rooms lacked exhaust fans and the toilets in both of the rooms I stayed in were old and needed to be replaced

Kelly Fodiman

We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was incredibly friendly at the front desk, wide open spaces, spacious room, very clean and comfortable The food and atmosphere was great in the lounge area, breakfast buffet was delicious, gym looked very nice and it was fun eating at caddy shack just 100 steps away! We really enjoyed the whole experience but having a warm, kind and friendly staff made our trip even better!! Thank you 😊

Madison Vick

For a four star hotel I was expecting it to be much nicer The area, and lobby were very neat, but the rooms were very dated They were all full beds, the air didn’t work, no microwaves in the room, no fan in the bathroom, and when I came into the bathroom there were little white facial hairs on the counter around the sink

The rooms just really need some updating

We stayed 3 nights at The Cozy Inn for our 5 year anniversary Our room was similar to an apartment with a full size kitchen, living room and nice bedroom with a full size bathroom King size bed was comfortable

Everything was clean Our room was cleaned and fresh towels left for us during our stay Check in was quick and painless I wish we had brought our bikes because it would of been easier to navigate through St Augustine We loved our stay and will definitely return

Bob Brunswick

We stayed in the remodeled home on the east side of San Marcos, in one of the small apartments We liked the large windows that faced north and gave nice natural lighting There was plenty of room for two, with a nice seating area and table in the small kitchen

It was very clean, and the bed, while a bit hard, was fairly comfortable There was a sofa sleeper, but there is no HVAC in the bedroom (two window units in the living areas), so airflow would mean you couldn’t close the door to the bedroom There is a large parking lot adjacent, which is nice We liked the fact it was north of all the congestion, but still close enough to walk to restaurants, etc Office staff was helpful, efficient, and polite, and gave us some tips for parking and navigating the traffic further south We would definitely stay here again

Marie Casimiri

We just spent 5 days at the Cozy Inn I am truly afraid to say how wonderful it was for fear we won’t be able to get a reservation next time We had a suite

Everything that we could have wanted was theredishes, wine glasses, wine bottle opener, pots and pans even dish soap The rooms were very clean It had such a beautiful cottage feel We were within walking distance to the sightseeing trolly that takes you on a guided tour to thehistoric section We loved our stay and will definitely return

We stayed here for four nights over spring break Really nice place! It’s only a 5-minute drive or so from the historic district and the parking garage thereBeautiful lobby and polite and helpful front desk check-in experience

Nice clean rooms Comfortable beds and quiet The only issues we had:The ac was weird It was cold, but also the room was somehow muggyThe phone didn’t work BUT we didn’t need it and also somebody came to check on it anywayThe toilet stopped flushing at one point BUT they fixed it really promptly so by the time we got back from our day, it was doneThe pool was pretty dirty BUT it’s not exactly pool season quite yet and definitely wasn’t when we wentAlso looked like the activity center with air hockey and stuff is no longer thereOther wise, no complaints! Great affordable place to stay just outside the really busy area

Ellen Jones

The room smelled funky We thought maybe it was due to being closed up but the smell never went away Though we ran the bathroom fan, the room was constantly damp

I had to rewash clothes that we didn’t wear when we got home because they captured the smell The staff was very nice but we saw very little cleaning Our shower had residue from previous guests and a dark spot on the wall that looked like mold We were only staying 2 nights so we didn’t complain but we wouldn’t stay there again We paid nearly $200 a night when all was said and done and it definitely did not meet that expectation Very disappointed

Kandace Hickman

We have visited St Augustine many times in the past, and have stayed at many different hotels In town for my brother’s wedding, we found Flagler Inn to be one of the top locations we’ve stayed at! The complimentary breakfast was adequate, even though the only choice for eggs was hard boiled

(At least they were warm, so that was a plus!) LOVED having biscuits for sausage gravy and biscuits (for hubby) and honey and biscuits (for me) In addition, there were waffles, pancakes, oatmeal and dry cereal The king room was very spacious, clean, modern Plenty of fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries Our only 2 minor complaints were that the mattress was a bit too soft for us and there was no coffee maker in the room However, coffee was available for a good part of the day in the breakfast room The pool was nice and clean and the Activity Center (complete with a well appointed excercise room) was a nice bonus! Also, the final price we paid turned out to be a bit lower than quoted on Bookingcom Another pleasant surprise! All in all, we were very happy with our stay at Flagler Inn! We visit my brother often, so we’ll definitely look at Flagler Inn first for accommodations when we do!

The back yard is everything! We spent all of our time together in the back, eating meals, playing games and enjoying our time together celebrating my parents birthday Location is close enough to the beach and restaurants and downtown st augustine Having both sides of the duplex was perfect for our family and the communication with the owners deserves 10 stars! The bunk bed rooms are adorable and loved that they had a cute pack and play, loved the hot tub

Overall our experience was wonderful!

The staff was super friendly and always made sure we had what we needed The check in and out process as well as parking was extremely easy and convenient The pool is a little small but the outside area is nice and relaxing

Our room was very comfortable including the bed The shower was a little odd with no full door or curtain so the floor got a bit wet, but they give you plenty of towels so it was no big deal There are plenty of options for breakfast, and the fitness are looked great but I didn’t use it There are some cool bars and restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and the downtown area is about a 20 minute walk This is great location and we highly recommend it when staying in St Augustine

K S (Basketkase045)

We stayed in November of 2021 and have been meaning to write this review The hotel advertised that it was recently renovated, and parts of it were but it did not feel like a new or recently renovated hotel First, we arrived very late at night after a long drive and upon arriving in our room discovered that the bathroom floor was dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned (there was visible fecal matter in the toilet bowl), and hair on the bathroom vanity

The room (and the hotel, generally) has a musty smell to it They were unable to change our rooms because of occupancy and had no one to clean the room at that time We understood it was late and resolved that it would be addressed in the morning as it was approximately 2:00 am at that point My wife cleaned the room with some wipes she had brought with her The A/C was another matter, I normally like to sleep in a cold room and set it to 68 but it never got below about 72 in the room and would even turn off I think the A/C was set to do this The following morning the manager told us that he would issue a credit ($50 or about 1/3 of the previous night’s room cost) for the inconvenience and the room would be deep cleaned We left for the day to explore St Augustine and when we arrived the room still smelled musty, the shower was improved but still had visible mold, however, the toilet and sink vanity had been cleaned We were only there for a couple of nights and decided to just stick it out for our stay Although the rooms were refreshed the A/C is definitely older and the room we were in showed signs of wear The front desk staff was nice, but our stay was awful I honestly would not recommend it, there are other, better properties to stay at in St Augustine

Simon green

Really loved this place, my wife was ill so we didn’t get out much but this is a fabulous hotel with a great location and lovely staff Check in was easy, the staff were friendly and the pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of seating Complimentary breakfast was ok with toast, bagels, cereals, omelettes and breakfast croissants

Literally a five minute walk over the bridge in to the heart of historic St Augustine but that means the location is really peaceful Good price for a modern clean and fresh contemporary IHG hotel Well done!

I loved my stay here! Got a bit hammered at the nearby bars and couldn’t drive home to Jacksonville The lady at the front desk was really nice and got me the last room of the night I believe The price was worth it

Room was great, big, comfortable beds, and clean! AC worked awesome Right across from the beach; I could hear the ocean when I stepped out of my room Great area with quite a bit to do, and easy driving to other places in St AugustineI don’t think they had breakfast, but I woke up a bit later and didn’t check There are quite a few hotels in the area and can be quite busy and booked up especially on the weekends You pay for what you get in this area, I think

Katie Couch

Our stay here was above and beyond accommodating, and the staff are the main reason for all of our thanks! We had a problem with bookingcom, and they were so helpful and so kind – a huge help in resolving the issue Our king room was very nice, but you can’t beat it being right across from the beach, pier, and splash pad! This is the place for you if you need a friendly staff that makes you feel at home and closeness to all the beach amenities!

Mary Jane Herod

The rooms are clean and pictures match what you get The parking lot is a little small for the amount of guest that could stay I’ve read a few other reviews about this place about a weird smell, it does smell like dirt in the bathroom but I don’t think it’s something they can change

Other places while we’ve been here in St Augustine have the same smell The beds are comfy and the pool is nice

Bed: Extremely comfortable Location: one block from the beach, quiet laid back area, with plenty of restaurants around, but not too much hustle Staff: very kind

Breakfast: Very good, options for vegetarians: (Blue diamond Almond milk) Quaker brand oatmeal, cheerios, scrambled eggs Rooms, clean and modern I actually like that they only clean rooms on request I just asked them to do my floors every other day because of all the sand, and they did it immediately and also went above what I asked like changing out towels Very friendly((Only reason for the four stars is the pool was not heated, and I thought I read that it is And the hot tub was first, not so hot, and not so full, then taped off as “broken” Also, my suggestion would be to put an “Adults only” sign on the hot tub, once it is fixed, because when I did go in it, three young kids followed me in Translation: lots of pee So I immediately got out Kids aren’t stressed, they don’t need a hot tub, please reserve it for adults, that’s what a hot tub is for For stressed adults to unwind Not a place for kids, because they don’t need it, and we all know bodily function kids do when they get in warm water))But overall great experience!

Brian Lindsey

Room was humid and the AC didn’t really cool the room, had to push the blower on for air circulation Issues with door Late night check in front desk barely acknowledged us

Hotel including the room was nicely decorated Beds were comfortable Pillows plush and comfortable but more throw pillow dimensions than a typical bed pillow More stars if not for price, we were told late night check in prices were higher than their advertised prices, in this case almost double the advertised price Even with issues, if they were at their advertised price this would have been 4-5 stars

Lisha Lou

At first I was a little frustrated because online said that check in was at 3p When I called because I arrived early, to see if I could check in sooner, they told me not only could I not come before 3p but I needed to wait until 4p due to being short staffed I ended up arriving shortly after 3 and they had just got a room open for us

This hotel was nice at appearance Our air in our room made it feel very humid Being aware of short staff, I tried to troubleshoot myself but after no luck, we were moved quickly to another room After switching rooms, we couldn’t get out without forcing the handle and wiggling it multiple times We went for breakfast and came back and couldn’t get in (when they switched our rooms, the door was propped open already, weird but it was clean so I didn’t think twice) After notifying the desk clerk, she told us it gets stuck sometimes and to wiggle it to get in Eventually, she came to open it for us Overall the stay was ok I like traveling to hotels where the doors are inside, unlike some of the other best westerns I love the upgrade

While this establishment was ok, it was not great I was informed at check in that there would be no cleaning while we were there unless we requested it At an average of $270 per night, I would expect to have at least new towels each day

There was a crack under the door that showed daylight and allowed in a creepy crawler While it was belly up when we woke up, it made me wonder what else was there The bed was lumpy and obviously worn out An attempt to make it more comfortable by adding a mattress pad was a failure as it bunched up while you slept only causing more problems The shower curtain rod was crooked and could not be adjusted to keep the shower curtain closed so water got on the floor during each shower The parking lot is VERY small and is shared with the Hampton next door Parking near our room was not possible, however the lot was well lit The check in staff was very nice however the check out staff seemed annoyed that I showed up to check out Location was decent and within 2 blocks of the trolley pick up but this hotel is not located within the historic district as I would expect but rather on the very edge, so plan on walking a bit to get down to all the sites unless you plan on taking the trolley We were only there 2 nights so we survived, but will most likely not return to this particular hotel

Mary Evans

Room clean, breakfast was good, however, I wascharged for parking, $1065, even though the website indicated parking was free for each registered guest This definitely is false advertising, a misrepresentation of the amenities provided

I contacted the hotel three times regarding their false advertising and have not received a response other than they would check on it and get back to me It has been over a month so apparently they aren’t going to do anything about it other than continuing to rip off other guests! I will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone else

Beth Mcavoy

Horrible service We had at least 30 mosquitos in our room that we KILLED I contacted the front desk they cut me off mid sentence and said there was nothing we could do about it

The room was so humid that my unpacked clothes were wet by morning The door to the room didn’t close all the way and you could see day light through it In the morning I went to the front desk and asked to be refunded for the terrible night They said that mosquitos were not a reason to refund the cost of the room I canceled my second night with them and went next door to the Hampton (who was booked up the night before or I would had left then) Parking was very tight and they charged you 1000 for each night! Very unhappy!

The whole atmosphere was peaceful and serene and beautiful to look at Oh and the free breakfast everything was fresh Make your own waffles grits sausage bagels etc not just juice and donuts Very good Me and my family had the best time and memories can’t wait til next Easter to make it a tradition I hope Chris will still be there!! This motel truly surprised me, which does not happen often The rates are not to bad for this motel and it has a fenced in dog park which I thought was a genius idea for people who travel with their dogs and they need to blow off some energy The bigger hotel chains need to take a page from their book

The rooms are very clean and spacious and absolutely no cigarette smoke smell which I enjoyedLess than 10 minutes from the main St Augustine old town area, it’s in a great area and next door to Tacos Queen which is an excellent Mexican restaurantDefinitely recommended

John Willis

We stayed there on a holiday weekend The price was very good and breakfast was included The Smart stay inn is well maintained and fully staffed

Our room was clean and so was the rest of the hotel that I saw Chris was very nice on the phone when I made my reservation and when I checked in Ryan the manager did a great job also Would definitely recommend the Smart stay inn

The rooms are EXTREMELY spacious We had a family of four in a double queen without rubbing elbows Breakfast was plentiful (though of you’re gluten free plan to pack your own) and coffee was 24hrs a day

Refrigerator was plenty big enough for all leftovers from trips into St Augustine as well as a big case of water we brought along Laundry facilities downstairs The pool area was small but very cute and well maintained Located away from hustle and bustle, but close to several gas stations and Publix We would definitely stay here again

Kali Blayz

One of the worst stays I’ve had! My mother is a GM of a Hilton where we live and I know how a hotel stay is suppose to be We respected the 4 day without housekeeping due to cdc but on the 3rd day the housekeeping manager comes and asks if we need service but my significant other was sleeping so I told her the next day we would need it instead During this stay it was difficult to even get clean towels after 2-3 days

And on the 4th day I called down for housekeeping and had to argue with them because the house keeping manager lied and told them she serviced our room but that was not the case She lied each time they asked her Surprised to see a manager lying like this and them making us feel like we were lying I was extremely upset There was no sugar for coffee for 3 days and only hazelnut creamer one day The breakfast was the same every day and just not good There were such basics I would get at a cheaper hotel The way we were treated was horrible and to pay all that money for an entire week was such a waste I could’ve had a more comfortable stay at a cheaper hotel and that’s a sad statement to make about a home2 suites I should’ve saved money and booked for what I actually paid for

Nicole Holloway

My husband and I were HIGHLY disappointed with this stay Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist, which advised us that we weren’t able to have a room key due to the system malfunctioning That meant anytime we needed to get to our room, the pool (Which was disgusting), or anywhere we would need a key, we had to wait for someone to let us in

There was no WIFI While being walked to our room, we noticed that there were blue labels on each room door that had been cleaned, ours did not have one We were told that our room HAD been cleaned, but they “ran out of stickers” We get settled into the room and realize that whomever “cleaned” our room, did a horrible job, the refrigerator was nasty There were still items in the room from the previous occupant The toilet’s water pressure was so low that flushing was more of a burden than anything Spots on the carpet let us say this place did not put its best foot forward This is unfortunate because this place has a ton of potential As I stated before, the pool area was a mess, tables were dirty, trash overflowed, and trash was on the ground They had no extra towels, washcloths, pillows, or blankets To have paid almost $30000 dollars for a 1 night’s stay and to have so many issues was disgraceful and frankly, not worth the trouble AT ALL We expected so much more I would NOT suggest this place to anyone Go at your own risk! You’ve been warned!

This hotel was amazing The rooms, staff, and amenities were all great The breakfast was really good & they offered different things every morning so you aren’t eating the same thing several days in a row

( Don’t forget to bring a few dollars for the tip jar each morning, the staff definitely deserve it)The rooms were in pristine condition They smelled so clean & had a microwave & a fridgeIts also located in the perfect location! Its 10 minutes or less from all the major attractions and also offers a shuttle service to several placesWe will definitely be back soon, we can’t wait for out next trip ♡

Krysta Glass

This was our second time staying with Southern Oaks This was the first time we ate the breakfast, it was delicious all 3 mornings The pool is nice and big, great way to end the hot summer days

Great location and the shuttle is a convenient way to get to downtown (visitor center area)We brought our large dog the first time we stayed and that was also a great experience The room gets a little tight adding in the dog and her items but it was doable The dog area is nice and large The only reason we didn’t bring her this time was so we could do the non pet friendly attractions

Really enjoyed our stay here The room was clean and adequately supplied for our stay The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful

Breakfast (served every morning in the dining room until 10 am) was tasty and plentiful with a lot of different options The best part was the free shuttle which runs every 20 minutes between the hotel and historic downtown, which saved us the headache of trying to find a parking space near the sites we were interested in The shuttle driver was so friendly and helpful – we really appreciated the guidance he gave us about places to eat and visit Thank you so much for an overall excellent stay

The couple who run/own this little gem are two of the nicest people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting during our travels The first year we stayed with them we had a room that was steps from the pool; it had 2 great comfy beds and not noisy from the street it looked out on We found wonderfully hot water with great pressure throughout the property

This time we got to stay in one of their little cabins It was wonderful The cabins sit behind the hotel still on the hotels property Absolutely no street noise there with parking at cabin door and oh so comfortable bedding We believe it had a sleeper sofa also but we didn’t need to use it so we didn’t even check The tile shower in our cabin was such a nice upgrade Also the rooms have a micro and fridge Clean Clean Clean inside and out the whole property each time But again this motel’s best feature is having owners who love people and take pride in their property

This place is right outside the hussle and bustle of St Augustine Perfect location and nice and quiet

When you’re ready to visit the main area its about a 5 minute drive so it’s perfect The rooms were incredibly clean This is probably the first hotel i don’t mind walking around without socks or something on my feet because it was so clean Nice hardwood floores The last at the front desk was very nice and accomodating as well Definately would stay again and the price is good as well Comfy beds

I’ve stayed here a few times during vacations As a St Augustine native, traveling home is easy and staying at this location has been simple for me My only complaint is access to the location

Traveling to it (while heading eastbound on 16) requires passing the location, making a U-turn at the next stoplight, and backtracking to reach the hotel Leaving the location to once again head eastbound on 16 requires crossing several packed lanes of traffic to reach another light and make another U-turn again This is literally the only complaint I have Otherwise the business has always been well-run, the staff has always been pleasant and my stays have been simple

I’ve stayed in motels/Hotels for the past week + and this was the cleanest, friendliest, most affordable one to date( but remember you get what you pay for)There has been cheaper but they have been smelly, dirty, and you just don’t feel safe in themYou get the most bang for your buck at this one I highly recommend this one

Amy

It’s not the 1st time we have stayed this place Looks like they have done some remodeling which is nice Could the floors Been a little cleaner yes

But the a/c works the beds were comfy If you don’t like super soft pillows would recommend you bring your own Breakfast is a little small options but there is mcdonalds, dunkin or burger King in close proximity

All in all this was an awesome stay! The hotel is very nice and clean The staff are quick and friendly The location feels safe and is very close to the historic district and Bridge of Lions

It’s a 10-15 minute drive to St Augustine Beach I loved all the little details like the extra pillows, Dove soap, towels by the pool, and extra air-conditioning blasts as you exit the elevator and head to your room! There is a parking fee that I was a little surprised about at checkout ($18 a day) It was in the fine print though, I must have just overlooked it It’s totally still worth it for the price

I’m a spire member for IHG, I spend a lot of time out of town for work When walking into the hotel, I was very impressed nicely modeled the front desk was under whelming as I had to wait five minutes for someone to show up When they did show up he then stated he needed to go get someone to do it

So I waited some more… as a spire member I am supposed to be upgraded, which they upgraded me to a junior suiteI was excited to get to the room and see what was in store, we got to the room… And holy god looks like the blew the whole Reno budget on the lobby The junior suite had a king bed which was nice the couch looked like it was probably ten years old TV was a nice Samsung, the bathroom was lack luster Standard but old and dated and the vent was hanging from a wire when we first got there So had to call maintenance to come repair itWhen my wife called down to the front desk and and also to house keeping to get extra towels, both failed to answer the phones She walked down and the gentlemen behind the desk was shoveling French fries into his face as he asked what she need help with Very unprofessional, I understand everyone needs to eat, however not behind the front deskAll in all I would have given it a two star rating but the lobby saved them

Abbe Dantzig

Nice accommodations that were clean and confidently located near the historic district Front desk Phillip was very pleasant and helpful Down side to the check in process was, a daily charge for parking that we were not informed about until presented with the preliminary cost for the room

In addition, when our TV reception was poor requiring a maintenance person to check, he did come promptly however was very rude with our expectation that all channels should work (They never did) In conclusion we would consider staying at this property again as the positive outweigh the negative

The rooms are neat and very clean The floors are a bit dirty but mostly from the dirt as people come in and out No rugs which I love

If we write in advance they always give or try to give a room on first floor Nice people Great location Housekeeping does a great job I would like to see the mattresses be a little softer Quite hard Would definitely recommend

Jill Bugay

Best option for easy access to the old town area at a reasonable price We enjoyed walking across the bridge into town every morning and avoided parking headaches and cost Very near several dining choices and excellent brew pub

Appreciated the non-slip tub surface and normal height toilet (we find many in motels are low and are difficult for aging knees) No complaints about the accommodations and the family running the inn was friendly Would certainly stay again Only four stars because it’s a no frills place

We stayed the first week of May There was freshly made lemonade for parched travelers in the lobby The front desk staff was very helpful and gave us information on places to eat and see

We enjoyed Harry’s Seafood for dinner and the drinks were great at Prohibition Kitchen, thanks for the infoThe rooms were clean and the pool area was nice and quaint Very close to the historic district Plus you get breakfastI would stay here againThanks for the hospitalityJane

Good location, easy to get to historic areas Trolley Tour will pick you up here Enthusiastic welcome by evening clerk! Beds very comfortable

I’m only giving a three because the A/C was weak and the room smelled a bit musty The edges of the room could have done with a good cleaning Great breakfast – top marks Grounds very tidy

If I and my family stay in a hotel chain, typically it is with Hampton Inns as we have found them to be clean, neat, and staffing commendable on most of our stays! The room itself was fine, the staff were eager to help assist in any way, the location was very good for amenities to St Augustine but where the staff went above and beyond, is when they would call the local trolley to pick us up in front of the hotel to take us to the trolley car starting point so that we may purchase tickets for the day to tour St Augustine! Only down fall of the stay is the $10 per day parking fee

but St Augustine is a small historic area, and I understand the fee! Not many places to park at all in the area and that land is at a premium for which I gladly paid my $10 daily fee!

This place was like staying at a Motel 6 in 1995 The only thing positive about this place is the location if you’re traveling on 95 & just needed a place to sleepPool- In a tiny room that felt like a sauna

The pool was literally ice cold A whisper was the loudest echoBuilding- The carpets in the hallway are disgusting Covered in stains & looks like they have never been cleaned since they’ve been installed The walls are paper thin I could hear the TV in the room next doorRooms- the AC in our room worked when it wanted too We woke up at 3am sweating The window in our room leaked, it was raining while we stayed here House keeping walked in the day we were leaving Told & showed me the paper she had said that we had already checked outBreakfast- There was what seemed to be a 16 year old working the Breakfast on his own There was no breakfast when we went down at 8:40am There were about 30 people sitting in there waiting on breakfast & coffeeI DO NOT recommend this hotel I have been an IHG member since 2014 & NEVER experienced a stay like this This makes me think of possibly switching hotel chains

Outstanding Customer Service Very clean Our room was in mint condition

Walking distance from the beach We loved that we could borrow whatever we needed for the beach for free including a wagon to toll it all there Complimentary breakfast was excellent Also nice indoor heated pool to use in case of rain It can be included or semi-open depending on the weather We couldn’t wish for anything better THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Diamela Pastorello

1 The manager did not let anyone check in until 3:05 pm Once he started checking in, at least 20 people started lining up like sheep and had to wait for at least 30 minutes

No accommodations at all…2 The hallway was not vacuumed and full of spots3 The shower did not work The receptionist did his best to accommodate us, however, it is unacceptable to see this level of maintenance4 Breakfast was poor- only a few ingredients ( ran out of turkey sausages before 8 am)The personal were kind but you can see that they were understaffedFor the priced we paid ( over $200), I expected a better hotel- it was more a Motel 6 for the price of Hilton

My partner and I stayed at RI over an extremely Memorial Day weekend and considering it seemed like they were sold out the entire time, we we’re impressed Overall the property was quiet- with the exception the train, which I imagine is not within their control, but honestly was not that bad and we easily slept throughWe arrived pretty early (think noon time), so our room wasn’t available yet, but the lady at the front desk had no problem allowing us to lounge by the pool, and provided us towels to do so

As soon as our room was prepped (maybe 40min), she brought us out our keys and had us nice and close to the pool The room was clean and surprisingly true to photos We did have to turn the ac down as it was an icebox when we walked in, but this wasn’t a real problem We had plenty of snacks and drinks available for our choosing in the lobby and both Ashley & Jeanette were helpful in making restaurant and attraction recommendations Another young lady- I think they said her name was Angela was also quick to get us extra bath towels when we asked late one night as wellUnfortunately we did have to cut our stay short a day, but they refunded us for the remaining night and pointed us to a deal Choice has for an upcoming weekend We will definitely be back soon, as we are only a few hours away and there is still much to see

Jessie Malino

Pleasantly surprised by this one When you pull up, you think, there’s no way this rooms look like the photos I’ve seen But they do! It’s obviously not a luxury hotel, but it’s a solid pick

Room is has updated amenities- fridge, microwave, large tv, usb charge ports in the nightstand Most importantly, beds and bathrooms are CLEAN, and beds are comfortable My only complaint, and this isn’t the hotel’s fault, is that you WILL likely hear your neighbors, especially if you have loud/rude ones like we did

Mayra Cruz

The 5 star service is for the young lady at the front desk I believe her name is Jeanine, she is very open to any complaints and without any fuss she came through for us switching our room she even went out of her way to lend me her personal crutches knowing the pain I was in Great customer service

Thank you girl !The location is very good Close to the town and plenty of places to eat

I have no complaints for what this hotel is It doesn’t smell like how other run down hotels similar to this do We were running late to check in and the manager gave us a call to see if we were okay

We eventually checked in around 11pm and the manager graciously checked us in and showed us our room We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping made sure we had enough towels and bed were made It’s a good place to stay and very close to the beach

Jon Green

Great little hotel near enough to anything you would like to do Very clean well oiled machine here at this hotel HUGE DOWNER for us was the UNHEATED pool

Yea, it’s Florida and it’s hot but this is ridiculously coldto the point that we never got in it after that first freeze The owner gave me a speech about why cold water is good for testosterone and a bunch of other things He’s physically fit type I’m here for R and R not to raise my testosterone He’s too cheap to get one I’d love to come here as my yearly beach trip due to the staff and cleanliness but,the pool has completely scratched this property off my list Get a heater

Raven

This place was a pleasant surprise Customer service was really helpful and informative Location was actually really perfect for us

20 mins max from Historic downtown A 10 min walk to the beach or you can do what we did and drive a few mins down to crescent beach with a lot of free public parking and outdoor showers The rooms are nothing fancy but our room was clean, a/c worked VERY well, the water gets super hot as well The TV is small and the channels are limited, some having a bit of static Our king bed room had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot Ice machine is also available by the office Pool was clean and cool Honestly not a bad spot!
