Dwell 912 was a delightful place to stay while my husband and I explored St Louis! It is in a perfect location, whether we needed to jump on the highway or head downtown It’s so close to everything! Jenn is a fantastic host, and did everything she could to make our stay the best while being safe and mindful of the restrictions of COVID-19

She still provided breakfast while maintaining social distancing and made sure to check on us every day in case we needed anything She is so nice and helpful! Also, the space is very clean and comfortablea wonderful home base for anyone’s stay in St Louis Thanks, Jenn! We look forward to staying with you again!

Deceivingly nice lady, but DO NOT STAY HERE! Especially for a long stay as there is no freezer, a super small refrigerator, and has no bathroom on the first floor and it takes a long haul up a treacherous stairwell to get to the bathroomThe small apartment dwell 912 was subpar at best The TV system is outdated, there is very little hot water and a shower with windows wide open to the street with no curtains, the bed is uncomfortable at this point

probably just old, and her breakfastughA BED AND BREAKFAST though in my mind should mean a cooked gourmet breakfast That is especially true when she references her big home as in maybe she would cook breakfast there and you could tour it, her gourmet magazine editor partner, her prepared breakfast, and your choice of getting gourmet meals provided, etc Instead, we just got some things like a couple leftover bagels from a plain jane yoplaits in the fridge VERY MISLEADING!I would never stay there againHowever, she was nice and her house was beautiful and the apartment is decorated wellWhen we explained all the issues that we had, she did nothing to compensate us We even had no electricity for a few hours and the fireplace was out yet again in the middle of January and she did not let us know beforehand and this is why we decided on the place I explained to her that that and the gourmet breakfast was why I picked it, but she did not seem to care

My family has undergone quite a shaky last couple of months with my dad going into Barnes-Jewish, but this place has been the perfect temporary home for my mom! She’s been there for over a month, and the staff has been such a blessing! She loves the accommodations, the 24 hour coffee, the garage is so convenient and secure They’re doing small renovations on certain floors, but they’ve been so helpful setting my mom up with a new room when it’s needed I’m able to visit occasionally, and it feels so good knowing my mom is staying at such a nice place, and with excellent access to the hospital! Quincy is a standout star for sure, a true sweetheart! He’s usually at the front desk and my mom chats with him often

I can’t praise the staff enough! They’re beyond excellent!!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been coming here for a long time If you choose this place you won’t regret itI don’t know where to start The front desk clerk was wonderful, free breakfast is always a bonus, but a few things stand out Complementary drinks, 3 per day, during happy hour along with some snacks for our kids The pool was fully stocked with towels (not common in other places I’ve stayed) All designated smoking areas are clearly marked And this is only our first night here Did I mention the price was a steal? I’ll be back to edit in a couple days!

Loved this location in St Louis It’s conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, and shopping stores

A quite new hotel with a nice modern style lobby/bar area It has several private work areas off the lobby and a great outdoor patio with fire pits Nice sized gym with everything you need for a great workout Our room was nice and clean The staff was great 5 stars all the way

Jo Dewell

My daughter stayed here on June 7th during a road trip She came out the next morning to find her new car of three weeks with a smashed window, contents ransacked and glass all over the interior She had a card with an officers name to contact taped to the car

(Of whom you could not speak to until he came back on duty Friday evening) There was a total of six vehicles that were vandalized that night They do have a security guard on site but it’s more for show so one feels safe staying here Now it’s dealing with insurance repairs and hoping someone will turn in the post cards and photos that were taken and mean nothing to anyone elseI guess one expects a better experience from a MarriottJo

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would A friend & I were in town for one night We had a room with a view of the Arch

The room was nice & clean with a beautiful view! All of the staff we met were so nice, friendly & helpful I totally plan on taking my husband there for a weekend awayThe only thing that we thought needs changed are the pool hours Closing the pool at 10? We couldn’t swim because of the amount of kids in the pool and hot tubs It would be nice if the pool area kept open until midnight, but closed to under 18 after 9 or 10, so others without kids could enjoy it

DragonBreath

Excellent experience Clean comfortable and great view of the arch The hotel is right next to the arch grounds

The 5:30 free dinner happy hour was wonderful 3 free drinks! (Attached video) Lobby has a full coffee bar and fountain drinks Had a great conversation with the very friendly front desk clerk and she just randomly upgraded our room for free! I definitely recommend a stay here

Brianna Reno

Greatly enjoyed our time at Drury Inn right next to the Arch The views were amazing, loved walking across the street to the Arch We met family here and had four rooms

We were all on the same floor and it made hanging out together great The staff was extremely nice and we chatted frequently in depth with many of them We stayed over Easter weekend and they were always cleaning and keeping it clean while the surge arrived on Friday and dissipated by Monday Having a full breakfast and full dinner was a great perk! Saved so much money by having two hot meals provided a day (plus adult beverages in the evening) We will be back! The interior was exceptional; we loved the aesthetic of the hotel Keep up the great work!

This is my favorite place to stay when we come into town a couple/few times a year! Rooms r nice & cleaned well Bedding is clean thank goodness! Has a fridge w/freezer, microwave, vanity area, & separate restroom Tub & toilet nice and clean, hot water all the time

The boss man as we call him, his son, and housekeeper guy r extremely helpful & make sure rooms r maintained well Never had a bad experience here A lady knocked on our door and my husband looked out & said “wrong room”, she came back again and he opened the door & she tried to say she didn’t mean to knock on our door, but my hubby let her know she knew because she was the same person who had previously knocked, so she apologized & didn’t return Thats kinda typical no matter where u go, & has only occurred once out of our many stays Its usually really quiet Wifi and cable works well, has a gas station right next door, and a bus stop on the other side of gas station if needed! I recommend this place over any other in the area hands down, & can’t wait to return 👍🏼

Not bad for a lower priced hotel and in Cahokia The owner clearly cares about the property and is always doing up keep and cleaning He doesn’t play when it comes to over staying your time paid for at 11am sharp you haven’t checked out or paid for another day he’s knocking haha

Not a bad place to stay on the East side of the Mississippi River from the city of STL

Hotel is adjacent to a rough neighborhood but you’ll have that when you stay downtown in a large city Hotel itself is gorgeous and all of the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful I wish I’d have gotten the valets name from when we checked out – he was amazing

He was super kind to our pups and helped my hubby load the truck so we could easily continue on our adventure He also helped to check us out efficiently We will definitely stay here againOur room was well thought out, with a huge shower in the bathroom Beautiful furniture and a truly eclectic and welcoming vibe

I totally feel like I underpaid for this stay! What a nice hotel with amazing historic properties Loved the exposed ceilings and all of the Art Deco but modern touches The security was an added bonus, all the elevators needed the key card to go up to the floors

Beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean The large walk in showers were just exquisite! I will say that any modern hotel I’ve stayed in lacks hooks or bars in the bathroom Only one hook and one bar in the bathroomJust so you know, there is no self parking included here There are pay lots very close or street parking but the hotel only has Valet that was $30 a day We parked on the street the first night on Sunday since it was free, but the city starts charging at 8am Monday It’s all by the Park mobile app which was easy to use

Shylah Kunick

Pros: The views are awesome! There is an obvious level of attention to detail in the artistry through the entire hotel Most of the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially Luke at the front desk! The morning of check out we hung by the pool and that was the BEST experience we had at the hotel! We got lounge chairs and enjoyed the incredible city skyline The pool water was mostly clean and refreshing in between sun bathing

Cons: check in was at 3 and we couldn’t get our room until 7pm! I’ve never experienced this before at any hotel, much less a high end place We tried to enjoy the rooftop pool and bar while we waited but it was disappointing The place was packed with day pass people There was nowhere to sit and the pool was… Incredibly dirty I think someone puked in the water or something because yikes There was only one bartender and she was out of every single drink I asked for, including the ones advertised on her chalk board… she was way overwhelmed That was a 3 person job she was doing aloneRedeemed: after waiting for two hours upstairs, we finally came down to the lobby bar They comped our drinks, two each, while down there waiting for another hour They comped our valet, $30 also They still couldn’t get our room by 7 so they gave us an “upgrade” which took our regular king room to one with a sitting space We didn’t need that but we were glad to finally have access to a room to freshen up and unwind in!I can only assume the hotel is seriously understaffed right now, causing the struggles we experienced This seems to be a common problem these days, though Hopefully they can get it figured out because I think we would have really enjoyed the hotel otherwise!

My husband and I stayed here after seeing a show at the Fox – overall the hotel is very cozy and really has that “intimate” feel There aren’t a lot of rooms and, even though we were here on a Friday night, it was very quiet As other reviewers mentioned, it is an older building that has been retrofitted, so the rooms are slightly awkward and small

At night the pipes can be quite loud as well, but I think these things only add to the charm Our room was very clean – crisp white sheets, a spotless glass shower with a rain shower head, and pleasantly smelling The people at the front desk were all very welcoming and helpful They offered us options for dining (the hotel has two restaurants in the building) and even asked us if we needed driving directions when we checked out Free parking is also included, which is always a bonus The only thing preventing me from giving this hotel five stars was the lack of amenities in the room itself There was no coffee pot, microwave, or even an ice bucket (although there was a refrigerator) For our morning drink, we had to go downstairs to the coffee bar in the lobby, which was messy and slightly disorganized from the morning rush of guests preparing their drinks For a luxury hotel, I was expecting to be able to brew our own coffee in the comfort of our room but that is a minor complaint Cleanliness and customer service is the most important, and we definitely received that during our stay

Paul Seigfreid

My son and his wife stayed in the hotel We visited, changed our clothes and got ready for an event It is just as advertised

It reminded me so much of hotels in New York The rooms were a little small and Spartan but clean and quite nice The artwork and lay out of the lobby and community area was very nice I would stay in the hotel next time we’re in St Louis

Ruth Hunt

A cozy, quiet, & chic hotel With only 49 rooms it is pleasantly quiet but still has all the on-site amenities like gym, room service, & 2 restaurants The only items I felt were missing from the room were a microwave & blow dryer

Also if they could add free shuttle service to/from airport that would seal the deal But the room was nice, bed was comfortable, view was beautiful Serves its purpose for what I wanted in a downtown hotel👍🏽

My husband and I stayed with Dan (& sweet Rosie his rescue dog) last night We were tired from a long family vacation and he was most accommodating We were allowed to store our bags (early) while sightseeing

The house is a gorgeous updated gem with lots of interesting antiques and curiosities The bed was super comfortable The best part was a great breakfast along with an interesting conversation with 2 other guests and our host Dan We felt right at home and will certainly be back !

Diane Ramos

Location, location, location!! Ok

then there’s Dan, the Innkeeper, and his sweet dog Rosie ❤️ 🐾 What a perfect place to stay while in St Louis Downtown sites are minutes away, yet the Inn is in a quiet, beautiful area with a pretty park across the street Dan is soooooooo accommodating whether it’s having breakfast ready when WE needed it or just being a plethora of information The room was big, and the bed very comfortable Breakfasts were ridiculously amazing by the way! We had our car with us and it was nice to have free parking! A great stay overall ❤️

Cindy Kelly

My partner and I spent 4 nights in the Virginia Minor Suite and loved every minute of it Dan was a fabulous host, accommodating in every way Breakfast each morning was a delight, and we slept VERY well on the comfortable bed

I didn’t snap photos of the room, but the photos available are accurate It’s spacious yet cozyWe had our 13-year-old, 10-pound chiweenie with us, and she socialized a little with Rosie, Dan’s playful pup, a larger, sturdier breed with a heart of gold Our dog loved our walks in Benton Park The view of the park from our room was lovelyThe neighborhood around the B&B is charming and easy to navigate When Dan says he has ample parking out front, believe him Coming & going couldn’t have been easier Plus we were plenty close to all of the parts of St Louis that we wanted to explore We will certainly stay at Benton Park Inn for subsequent visits to the area

My husband and I just got back from spending four nights at Fleur-de-Lys Mansion while visiting our son and daughter in law in St Louis We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The mansion is beautiful and elegant while also feeling warm and super comfy Our room “the Library” was very large and pretty and the bed and bedding were amazing Leslie and Mark were so welcoming and attentive The breakfasts were delicious and an absolute treat in starting our day This will definitely be our go to for future visits Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I stopped at the Mansion on Sunday, March 20,2022 We stayed in the Reservoir Park room which was excellent The bed was a neat old 4 poster queen size bed from a bygone era

We missed that time It was very comfortable and we got a great nights rest The room was comfortable and quietThe location was close to a section of the town with a number of diverse restaurants to choose fromWe were met by Leslie, who together with her husband Mark run the Mansion She gave us a brief description of the Mansion and “it’s” life” from 1915 to the present It was very informative and added to the atmosphere of the MansionWe met her husband Mark for a few moments Mark is a true gourmet chef and served an excellent breakfast in the morning Even with a long day ahead we were very glad we didn’t leave before breakfastWe did arrive early enough to walk around a bit and the neighborhood has many homes with architectures you don’t see just anywhere We felt very good walking aroundWe did walk to dinner which was about 3/4 of a mile from the Mansion Many choices for cuisineIf we pass St Louis on our way home, we will definitely adjust mileage to stay againAlmost forgot – the Mansion is close to Interstate 44 It only took 2-3 minutes after getting off I-44 In the morning, it was another 2 or 3 minutes to get back on I-44

I had such a wonderful stay at Fleur De Lys Mansion this June Leslie and Mark are wonderful hosts ! They had the perfect balance of making me feel at home , yet very pampered The breakfasts were amazing, and they catered to my dietary needs beyond expectation

Great view of the St Louis Arc with a beautiful outside Be aware that parking is not included in your per-night stay

For us it was an extra $15 a day They do provide a great breakfast but the cleaners could do a better job on the room While pulling out the pullout couch we were surprised to find candy, hair, and crackers that were left behind from a previous stay Other than that everything was amazing!

Lavender Litondo

I loved the hotel and it’s close proximity to the ferris wheel and aquarium Also it was not too far from the gateway arch

My only dissatisfaction was upon arrival, being informed about the parking garage fee It would have been nice if that had been disclosed on the hotel’s website while booking the hotel so as not to incur a surprise extra cost upon arrival

penny pincher

Stayed 3 nights The rooms are clean The service was helpful

The breakfast is take out and not kitchen cooked buffetThe parking is EXTREMELY limited Keep that in mind because street parking is only free on the weekendEach night that I could not find parking, I let the front desk know and they removed the fee

The Casa Magnolia was a great place to stay; I’d even go so far as to say it’s probably the best B&B I’ve been to My girlfriend and I were coming for a few days to visit my sister who lives just south of Tower Grove Park, so the location was very convenient We stayed in the Queen Room, which was nice because you have views of both the park and back of the house

I believe I was going to get the King Room first but then I noticed the bath was across the hall for the King and I just prefer to have the bath attached to the room I’m in The house itself is very beautiful and add to it the decor, makes it more than stunning!Jordi and Lillabet were the best hosts that one could imagine They were more than accommodating with dietary restrictions and I believe they had the best breakfast that I’ve had from any B&B Make sure you have room because they give you plenty to eat! They are very open and friendly and make you feel like you are a part of their familyThere is no question this is where I will stay next time I come to St Louis

Location is great, right next to the arch and within walking distance to Busch Stadium, not a ton of traffic in immediate area The hotel employees were all very nice for the most part but this hotel should not be branded a Hyatt It was dirty, towels all over the hallways, our floor had some nasty sticky patch on the carpet had to cover it with a towel

Bathrooms need updating The employees deserve a better product to sell Was not happy with check-in Get there 20 minutes before 4:00pm told no room available and when asked if I should come back in 20 minutes will it be ready, was told yes Come back in 20 minutes to be told still not ready, that they are light staffed on housekeeping (everyone is) and that they have no clue when we would get into our room We had just driven 8 hours and had a game to go to so she spoke to the manager on our behalf and a room was available Very long lines for everything – Starbucks, breakfast buffet, check-in Parking deck is gross and hot an not enough spaces to accommodate guests, very tight and small underground parking The stairwell is disgusting and they are charging like $40/night! Also, beware staying there on Cardinals game nights, the hotel will be super noisy all hours through the night Overall, even though the employees are good they cannot salvage this hotel, very disappointed in our stay overall especially for the price we paid

We ended up at the Hyatt unexpectedly & were overall happy with our experience We were able to pay $25 to check in early which was greatly appreciated after being up since 3am Our room was ok, view was awesome! The front desk staff were all super nice and helpful

My only real complaint was no extras of any kind-no makeup removing towelettes, lotion, slippers or even extra bedding Maybe it’s a theft or sustainability thing but I guess when I’m spending $300/night I expect those The pillows and bed were also a bit firm but not the worst I’ve experienced Oh, the sports bar downstairs is great! Bartender was nice and helpful

I just had my 4/30/2022 wedding at the Hyatt and it was an amazing experience! Almost all of my guests were from out of town and stayed at the Hyatt Everyone reported great experiences with their rooms and customer service here at the Hyatt In terms of the wedding, wow, Lisa Sabin is so talented at her job

She was incredibly responsive to emails, so detail oriented and organized in planning the whole wedding ceremony and reception In terms of the venue itself, the Gateway East and Terrace was everything we ever imagined for our ceremony and reception with a dance floor and ceremony that felt outside but was still inside The view of the Arch was just a bonus! Everything on our wedding day went so smoothly and I could not recommend Hyatt enough!

Stayed here on Saturday night and everyone was extremely nice, especially the people working breakfast Sunday morning Loved the water pressure in our room A few things I didn’t like that weren’t deal breakers was that sometimes they key card wouldn’t work to my room

Also, for two adults the breakfast was about 28 bucks The food was yummy so it was okay It was conveniently close to attractions we were going to We will definitely stay here again

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itEverything about our stay at this Holiday Inn was amazing, but by far the most amazing thing was the staff at the hotel The most friendly, kind, positive, happy, and helpful staff I’ve come across in a hotel so far Elisia at the front desk brightened my day every time I walked in the building, or needed new towels, or had questions She was so positive and courteous, always smiling and doing everything she can to give everyone around her a positive experience
