We encountered a problem with the reservation which resulted in some major problems but the night clerk and the manager handled it very well and took care of the situation The room was clean and very comfortable The motel was easy to find

My suggestion is to make sure you add a special note to your online reservation when you need a handicap room, saying you absolutely need one

Pascal “Le Bakala” Gienger

The room was spacious, and it was very clean It was very quiet, no noise was heard during the whole night Small minus point for the little bathtub, it is more a mixture between bathtub and shower area

You will not be able to walk to downtown St Mary’s though, keep that in mind when you want to do a visit to the recommandable “Gunners” restaurantBreakfast was good, friendliness of employees top notch Five stars for that

lisa heidenreich

Would love to give 5 stars but had a few minor issues that pretty much make it difficult to go higher Bug shell found IN one of the beds Freaked us out, but appears to have just been a beetle casing, still was gross

Internet was NON existent and we were there for work and needed to use our laptops but couldn’t keep a decent signal Very frustrating TV was stuck on CC and took the partially working remote a good 20 minutes to remove Otherwise, the room was clean Staff was wonderful Breakfast was surprisingly really nice and had a lot of selections!

Just had the prime rig it was very good Also liked the roast beef Really tender

Young waitress was very friendly and checked on us if we needed anything All was good I would recommend this place to eatOne negative was a waitress was selling $2000 tickets I have no problem supporting the locals but I think it would be better to place a shelf with tickets on it and if you want one you could get it I do not like them coming to my table But as I said all was goo

Corey Clark

Absolutely blown away by this place The prices are unheard of (in a good way) I got to experience the best wing flavor I’ve ever had — their house sauce (nacho cheese, ranch, and something else)

Their moonshine slushies were also incredibleCan’t wait to come back!

Jason Hoffer

Nice dining experience on the non-bar side w my family On this visit, they were out of a number of entrees They also apologized but were slow w our pizza order

Thankfully they gave us some chips to hold the kids over and gave us a discount for the long wait We also had their chili which had garbanzo beans in it instead of kidney beans It wasn’t our favorite version of chili Overall we do like this restaurant in Benezette

Great place to stay… Elk cabin was great 4 queen bedrooms and 2 baths made it convenient for our group

I would prefer a little more privacy around the campfire, but it’s “woodsy” enough that we had a rather large black bear join us at the fire one evening! Definitely would not hesitate to stay here again Hosts were quick to respond to questions!

Owners are great Friendly, helpful and have an amazing place They are perfect location and in a perfect spot so you can completely disconnect from phones and computers and enjoy the clear sky with a fire and peace and quiet

You get exactly what is described on the website when booking Have stayed multiple times and have never had a problem Always look forward to seeing the mom and cubs that seem to be local to the cabins Thanks for the perfect place to stay

Elaine Lyon

What a gorgeous place! The cabin we stayed in was very clean and well kept A hot tub on the deck made it extraordinary when looking at the night sky We hiked all around, saw the beautiful new chapel on the property and enjoyed the fall foliage

A huge elk greeted us at the chapel! It was one of the most relaxing weekends I’ve had in a while Fresh, clean air, the mist in the valleys, fall colors up and down the mountainside, and fantastic hosts, Liz and John, made sure we had everything we needed Great place!!

For a one-night stop this is a perfect one A little bit pricey but they don’t compromise on quality The breakfast was so good, and the shift manager, Linda, was super friendly on the next morning

Would definitely consider going back!

I had to have a procedure which required me to have a driver Unfortunately plans changed the day before the procedure and I was panicking looking for a room and transportation to and from the hospital With the help of Janice I was able to book a room and make arrangements for the ATA to pick me up and take me to the hospital and after the procedure take me back to the hotel

I was very nervous being that I was not from that area When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by 3 extremely nice people One being Janice, the manager, and I did not get the gentleman’s name I could not have asked for better customer service I had explained my situation and I felt that I was treated like family not a customer They all went above and beyond their duty to make sure I would be comfortable and if in the event that I needed anything, I would be able to call or even scream and they would be able to hear me if need beI can not tell you how much I appreciated each and everyone of them I highly recommend this hotel if you are having anything done at St Mary’s hospital and need a place to stay It was extremely clean, with an exceptional staff Also it is just 10 minutes or so from the hospital with resteraunts close by

We’ve always drove past and said “we need to stop there” We are glad we finally did! The steak was phenomenal It was cooked as requested and seasoned to perfection

No need for A1! Junk and Jazz wings were tasty They came with plenty of extra sauce We are definitely going here again to eat an assortment of wings because there is so many unique flavors

Tyler Maruca

The Summit is and has always been one of the best restaurants in the area Delicious food good specials great drinks amazing dessert and I’m even going to go as far to say the best wings that I have ever had The atmosphere is relaxed and holy the food words can not describe it

I’m so happy that the Summit is still flourishing even after all of the adversity they have encountered in the last 2 years! It is an area staple and a restaurant that needs to be on the map!

KATELYNN FIELDS

First off, we waited in the door way for over 30 Minutes before someone came and talked to us We then got sat and our table wasn’t even cleared off yet and had to wait for them to clean it off The waiter then came over to us and threw the menus down at us

We then ordered our drinks and he came back swearing up a storm to our table We had placed our order and he was super rude Waited over an hour to get our appetizers and they didn’t even show up Our food showed up before our appetizer and only 2 out of the 4 dinners were brought out And we brought it up to the server and he got mad and we asked for our check to leave and the manager and him were drinking behind the bar and the manager came stumbling out of the door drunk and couldn’t walk not very professional

My husband and I were coming back from myrtle beach for our wedding anniversary and hit a deer on Bootjack Hill (route 219) at 2am Amazing ridge view police suggested this place up the road to crash for the night and they took us up with all our luggage and everything called the hotel owner around 3am & the owner himself got out of bed to accommodate us & he was very nice about the situation We had no car so the small breakfast was great

The rooms Are very old & can use an update but very clean I would stay again for a motel

Long story short, this is the least accommodating hotel I’ve ever been to They told our friends months ago that everyone coming into town for their wedding would be able to check in early (before the wedding starts

) and get a special room rate The morning of the wedding arrives, we call to find out what time we can check in & the only thing the receptionist seems to be able to say is “the rooms wont be ready until 3:00” over and over again I calmly explained that this doesn’t make very much sense, considering the wedding begins at 2:00, asking if there is any possible way that we can just check in & drop off our things? Her response, another “the rooms wont be ready until 3:00” I left my number for a manager to call me back since I was told there was no one else available, never heard back So we made it work,9 drove 3 hours in our wedding attire & ran back to the hotel to check in before the reception Just what we wanted to be doing, right?! Only to find out when we get there that WE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT But “no rooms will be ready until 3:00” And the cherry on top, our “special rate room” went from $110 originally to $160 to somehow a grand total of $199?? for one night in a room I couldn’t even get into to get ready Overall a nice day & beautiful wedding, but not something I would ever want to deal with again

Quite the impressive hotel Management and staff is phenomenal they always have a smile on their face and are ready to help you as soon as you walk in the door They are accommodating to everyone’s needs and made the stay as comfortable as possible

The showers and beds are luxurious, I wish I could package them up and take them home with me A clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay while you are in the area
