I must say this was the cleanest and nicest Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in The manager Cheryl is fabulous She goes above and beyond to make sure this hotel runs smoothly

It’s great to see a manager who is so “hands on” Cheryl kept the breakfast buffet immaculate and I saw her cleaning and vacuuming many times Natasha at the front desk was amazing, she has a very friendly personality and was extremely helpful, it was obviousshe loves her job Jan at the front desk was also very nice and helpful and takes great pride in her position Jenn in maintenance was extremely helpful Alyson at the front desk was very friendly and also very helpful to me The housekeepers were all fabulous, especially Cindy I have traveled all over the US and always stay at Holiday Inn Express, this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in The room was large and beautiful The bed was extremely comfortable Everything was so clean The breakfast was so delicious… Scrambled eggs, omelets with cheese, bacon, sausage, juices, coffee, milk, cereals and fruits are just some of the choices I highly recommend this beautiful hotel I was there a week after moving from out of state and I will truly miss being there

We came to town for a birthday celebration and I booked this room online and everything was perfect We checked in, actually stopped in long before the 3 pm check in time to ask about the charges on our account, and were explained the prices and charges with fabtastic politeness and we were told our room was ready at noon! That was great! We left to attend our family birthday party and returned later that eveningOur room was cleaned well, just a few little things that may have sent others up to the desk asking for another room, but we looked beyond the one and only issue and that was the frumpy looking bed

I could tell it was made up in a hurry or just made without the care of how this is the first impression a guest sees once they enter a room Being that we are aware of how short staffed almost everyone seems to be in any business, we simply looked past the frumpy bed ( I did check that they were clean sheets and indeed they were!)Just a small mess on the wall by the desk lamp is really the only dirty thing we sawWe slept great, very comfortable bed, very comfortable room!Shower was very nice, water had good pressure and was nice and warm the entire showers!Breakfast was alright, they didn’t have cinnamon rolls or bacon in the hot plates but all else was good eatsEven the breakfast attendant was walking around asking if folks were enjoyed everything and even bussed the tables for guests! How very thoughtful! We would stay here again!Just hopefully the beds look a little more inviting next time!

What a terrible experience Upon arrival I was not greeted rather I waited at the closest register screen About five minutes later I went towards what seemed to be a laundry room where the front desk receptionist was folding laundry

I said “am I able to check in?” She replied with “oh I didn’t see you, you must not have been in front of my camera” I got my keys and to the room I noticed the air filters haven’t been cleaned in years during a time of desperate need for sanitation We went in the pool which wasn’t terrible but definitely not the basketball hoop or the frog slide which I’d assume is at the convention center The noise coming from across the hall which I can only assume will get worse I highly recommend you avoid this hole I can only imagine what their continental breakfast had to offer

Stayed here last year for a baseball tournament and enjoyed the staff and flexibility they offered to our team This year the lobby closes at 10:00 so our team parents were not able to hang out They even told a group who were outside on their back patio area to go to their rooms at 10:00

Our team will never stay here again We will be looking for a new place for our annual tournament Plus in the last year the hotel has been neglected Carpets were all very very dirty!

I stay here every year when working through also stay mainly in Choice brand hotels and agree with other comments that it’s nicer than ALOT of Comforts I’ve stayedPs

Not really relevant to the staying portion of it but the landscaping is always on point for a hotel 😁

Decent looking hotel with average rooms There was no one at the desknwhen i arrived at 730 but when i started to say hello someone came The room was nice and looked clean when i arrived and everything in the room looks like it works

Wish the breakfast started a little earlier but just a small thing again Pool is nice but pretty small The hot tub is nice and hot Most importantly there is a kwik trip right next to it

I am used to going to 2-star hotels with my family while roadtripping, and ending up in pretty disastrous hotels that appear normal from the outside This was my first time as an adult staying at a hotel without my parents and sibling, so I was mentally preparing for check-in to feel like I’m at the DMV, like it usually doesTo my surprise, the employees at check-in and check-out were SO nice and made everything so simple

The room was spotless (maybe a little dust on the coffee pot but that doesn’t matter) and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel And even though it was booming with people that night, I could barely hear anyone in the halls and was able to sleep soundlyI’m pretty sure one of the employees was into me and it was making me feel a little uncomfortable, but I also could’ve been imagining it Great place overall

Just spent three days here last week & the place is awesome Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful Rooms was clean, hotel was quiet

Coffee was always available Great breakfasts Nice decor in the entry area One of the main reasons for booking with the hotel was the hot tub I used it all three nights and it was also great We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area

September Elenewski

The hotel itself is nothing special, but the staff there makes it an experience We had a bridal shower we were celebrating and the employees made sure they went the extra mile to celebrate the occasion with us Jesse the night auditor and Derrick the supervisor at the front desk were amazing

I would book here again ONLY because of how great Derrick and Jesse were! 🙂

Booked over the phone The woman I spoke to didn’t seem to know what she was doing so I asked for a confirmation number to ensure the booking When we arrived the woman at the desk said we didn’t have a reservation and couldn’t find one by searching the confirmation number

We were told we didn’t have a reservation and could not stay there because they were booked No remorse or sympathy exhibited whatsoever Every other hotel was also completely booked Finally found a room available at in a neighboring town that cost over double what I had booked the room at the Baymont for

This is not a mid level hotel Its down there on the bottom for the cost The bed is hard and uncomfortable, the bathroom is small, the tub shower combo can barely fit a small adult with bathroom supplies a mix of low quality supplies

There is no fan in the bathroom Breakfast is low quality and we just ate out even the coffee and food was cold at 6:00 am Small pool no hot tub Ac did not work well This will be a pass for us from now on

Good, clean rooms in the heart of downtown Steven’s Point Loved the full fridge and freezer in our room and the service here is friendly and approachable A bit interesting with the shower and ventilation

Also the tub part of the shower creaked mightily when standing in it Minor things overall but a good place to stay in Steven’s Point

Adam and his assistant made our stay perfect We asked for a ground floor room when we booked and, although they weren’t able to guarantee our request when we booked (understandably so), they were able to honor our request at check-in Our bed was very comfortable and our room was very clean

We definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area

Autumn Koch

The receptionist wasn’t very welcoming when we arrived on Friday evening, she seemed annoyed The rooms were clean but it would have been nice if the beds were queens vs doubles The breakfast wasn’t very good with a semi-broken waffle maker, I guess we got what we paid for

The location was great though, we were on a University visit, it was a very short drive there and to other popular locations in SP

dotradovec69

On the night of 07-16-22 we went down to the pool to relax in the whirlpool and have a few cans of beer And the women at the front desk came in and said you can’t have any food or drinks in the pool room this must be the only hotel in the state of Wisconsin that enforces this I can see if we had glass bottles I would understand but we had aluminum cans this was are first time staying here and will be are last

For what there rates are you would think you could have some enjoyment but not here

Book a room for a special get away and get exactly what you pay for? Not this hotel Staff was the biggest issue They gave us the wrong room because “third party booking didn’t check with the hotel for rooms”

Told us that this is what we can give you meanwhile it was less of a room compared to what we booked for a special weekend awayDouble charged us even when booking gave us a receipt Never tried to fix it After 3 times talking to someone they just gave us the GM’s card and said take it up with her Horrible hospitality at this location By far the worst hotel, hospitality and customer service wise, that I’ve ever stayed at Also, don’t attempt to do a third party booking here, they will not help you with issues and will get upset you didn’t book directly through the hotel Do not recommend this hotel whatsoever

Wonderful staff! Everyone is friendly and accommodating Good location for commutingThe beds are firm for my liking but the hot tub helps with the aches

I also had a neighbor who was snoring so loud I could hear 🤦‍♀️

Nice place Room was clean Beds were nice

The only downfall was the big slide in the pool was closed It was the reason why we stayed here to be away for the weekendPlus, some softball tournament happening this weekend with unsupervised kids in the pool walking up the big slide and going down like it was working 😆We still had a good time

Room cleanDesk staff helpfulLoud kids in hallway till early hours

Charged Early Check-in fee ($25; $28+ after taxes & fees) for a 1- hr early check in (100 mile/90 min trip to hotel + 20 minutes to venue; wedding & check in both at 3pm) We needed to freshen up, so essentially were without options We don’t check in early very often – but I’ve never been charged before for doing so… Especially an hour

Great accommodations! Fantastic breakfasts I can’t give 5 stars because the a/c was seriously inadequate The a/c only cooled the bedroom, not the other room in the suite

It made the humidity awful, as well The minuscule fan located near the ceiling was supposed to move the air It did not, and sounded like a freight train in the room Very annoying

Mollie Sisson

PET FEE WENT UP TO 5000 A NIGHT!!!!I have stayed here several times with my dog The rate was always reasonable and I liked the location and the hotel

I booked it last month and when I showed up they informed me that the fee went up to 5000 a night for a dog That’s absolutely ridiculous! I had no choice as it was late and I’m sure they would have charged me the room if I had walked outIf you don’t want to accept Dogs, then don’t Don’t screw the pet owners Other hotels in the area that are just as nice are totally reasonable in charging fees If you have a pet, look elsewhereI’ll never stay here again

Pami B

The room we first checked into was not cleaned that I could tell (the bed hadn’t been made ) The lady working front desk seemed a bit overwhelmed (the hotel was completely booked with several things going on in the area) she did get us a new room but like I said she seemed very overwhelmed The best thing I can say about this hotel is the coffee was good and the breakfast was also good
