Really nice and well decorated inside, and staff was great, especially at the restaurant Good for business travel with a nice desk in the room and everything needed for workCouple downsides:Pool is entirely blocked from sunlight most/all of the day due to location behind the building ;They said housekeeping would only come once every 3 days, and you couldn’t even request them come clean earlier – I’ve seen a lot of COVID cleaning policies but this one is pretty bad

Christopher

This place has the potential to be great A very nice lobby, restaurant and cafe at the entrance Room would have been good but , with no water makes it unsanitary

The customer service is below standards Spoke to 5 people, only 1 had good customer service skills Checked in and went to room, no water from the bathroom, called the front desk and the person said the water would be out , they knew it would be out and did not advise me at check in

Savannah Alvarez

The lobby was beautiful but the rooms are a different story The ceilings are super low, window frame very low, along with a very low toilet Rooms look outdated and definitely needed some updates

When we checked in our room type (2 queen beds with high floor view) was not available yet so they put us in a basic 2 queen bed room When we checked out they charged us the rate of the high floor with a view even though that is not what we got When I asked the front desk about it they said that’s the way it is since we didn’t wait for our room to be ready So we paid the high price of a high floor view room even though we stayed in the basic queen room A little annoyed since that doesn’t begin to make sense, but what can you do I would suggest staying elsewhere

After renting we bought a park model 3 years ago We enjoy Sunflower as our “winter home” and LOVE the great amenities they offer My husband is a cyclist and very much enjoys riding with a group of other cyclists several times a week

We both enjoy the Cactus Grill and live music during the week The staff is always helpful and we love the level of cleanliness the resort maintains Lots to do and a great place to retire!

We bought our park model here 3 years ago after first staying in an RV spot It is a decision we have never regretted!! We love the amenities! (especially the Cactus Bar and Grill and their AMAZING staff!) my husband enjoys the card room and the men’s golf groups We have tried many things that are offered here and still haven’t tried it all! The bands on the weeknights are another great thing! Highly recommend this RV Resort! Jennifer Hiner

I went to go tovan estimate for my business at a residence there I arrived at the security guard hut and I was at least 10 cars deep if nor more The line never moved in 10 minutes

That would have made it at least 30 mi minutes until I could get through the gate I don’t have that kind of time I had to call my customer and reschedule the estimate Ridiculous

There’s a lot to like about this place Super clean Friendly

The pool is amazing Lemon and orange and palm trees at every spot For being in the city there was a surprising amount of wildlife around 2 dog parks and plenty of spots for doggie bags Gated, and security takes their job seriously We didn’t have to worry about bikes getting stolen Plenty of activities and social life if that’s your thing Only drawback are the planes Very loud and sometimes they fly in as late as 11pm If you can tune them out then you’ll be fine

Robert Poggensee

When you drive through this place, it looks very nice But once you check in and get settled, you have to travel quite a ways for anything you need The bar and grill at the golf course was only open one day a week for 2 hours at lunch time

The main pool was not heated for over a month and a half The computer room was closed they said because of COVID Come to find out it was because they did not have a monitor, another lieIf you want to play any of the sports like pickle ball, lawn bowling, shuffle board, it is an additional charge These charges are not mentioned in the welcome packet when you arriveWe left a month early and decided to go to a different resort in Mesa that does not charge you for music at the pool and the pool is always well maintained I would not waste your money There are much better resorts available

Elaine Taber

Where and when were these pictures taken???We only have a restaurant that is open limited days and limited hours!!!!Never have I seen any of the pictures of dishes served No service You have to order at bar

The pool is down 60% if the time Older park models when coming into the entrance are so old and run down, looks like trailer trash

By the looks and location a little concern but let me tell you this place is amazing I have stayed there multiple times and have always received excellent customer service That is one thing you cannot say very often

The rooms inside are super clean even though outside gives a different vibe they are beautiful inside They offer so many different amenities They have complimentary beverages and snacks They treat you like a real guest Me and my husband were here when we want to relax and let her hair down Big thanks to all those there that I’ve always made our stay great

AngelsFan70

Overall not the best place but also not the worst The shower faucet broke off while I was trying to take a shower Just decided to clean myself with the water running with no shower

Room had a little bit of an old musty smell Towel in the bathroom was really rough and had a weird brown stain on it AC took a while to get the room cool, but it did do the job overall The style of the place is really upbeat and cool Lots of cool artwork and color around The rooms were really quiet and the bed and pillows were really soft and comfy

Ed Dressel

Definitely NOT a four-star as advertised The room was dark with one small window, the faucet in the bathroom leaked and was difficult to use When we went to eat outside the heater next to our table was broken and unusable

Yes, we did have a cannabis-free room, however, this did not mean we could not smell it during our stay–pleasant perhaps for some, just not for us On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, eager to oblige Also, the food at the restaurant was good and the ambiance lovely

This a very nice resort… love the lagoon pool and tranquil atmosphere The only down part is that they don’t have a restaurant or live bar to hang out… there are great outing places close by though, but sometimes one just want to stay in… I also love the fact that they have full kitchens, it comes handy if we want to spend more than three days over… however, having a restauran option would be a good idea My kids love it here because of the pool and some entertainment they offer…but we ended up not getting any extra packages because we’re not planning to travel out of the country any sooner

Ashley Maruca

The room was a one bedroom suite with a kitchen We had a party of 4 and there is a pull put couch bed Pool was great and the drinks even more great! Food truck had pretty good food and fair prices

My only complaint is the cleanliness of the room You could tell the shower was not cleaned so I cleaned it myself When we moved the chair in the livingroom we found a dirty sock and sunflower seeds I don’t think a sweeper was ran either and if you walk barefoot, be prepared for dirty feet There wasn’t a lot to do around the resort so we traveled a lot You definitely need a rental car

Scott Herrington

From the time we entered to the time we left( 2 days ) We were greeted with smiles, not only registration but everyone smiled and waved The master suite we got was beautiful! Sunken tub, living room and a huge wrap around bathroom

The grounds were beautiful The pool is huge with a water slide, cabanas, music I will definitely come back for another get away

My partner and I stayed last weekend and had a fantastic time! The owner, Tim, made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door I felt more like a houseguest than someone just renting a room There are thoughtful little touches all throughout the property and it was spotlessly clean! The property is small enough that you get to interact with the other guests

Every morning my partner and I would have coffee with other guests by the pool It’s in a great location with plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops close by We’ve already booked our next stay!

Matt Blodgett

My husband I stayed here for two nights We live in the area but wanted a little getaway We had such a good time

The owner Tim is a super nice guy He made us feel right at home We enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the property as well We actually had a tree fall on our car after a storm We noticed it in the morning Tim had a guy out there to haul the tree away ASAP I was constantly impressed with his professionalism and friendliness I highly recommend this place

This is cozy place The garden and night time light are fantastic If you have a plan for a couple travel, this would be good for you

And near the hostel, there are good restaurants in the night time The weather is perfect for winter time If you live in Northern states or Canada, you will satisfy this place 100% Also, they(staff and guests) are friendly (like my best friends) This is very different from the other hostels which I have visited in US and Canada You will have the chance to communicate with good people! Lastly, don’t forget that Phoenix AZ has a lot of attractions which you may have unique experience The person (man, maybe owner?) in the hostel is the greatest trip advisor in Phoenix area You just ask him when you are not sure about the attractions Overall, wonderful experience

My wife and I stayed for seven nights at Don’s Elegant’ B&B in March 2022 Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome from Don After Don went over every aspect of our room, he showed us the rest of his home

Our room included a king size bed, a full bath, a private patio, and other amenities Don and Tom were absolutely wonderful They encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable throughout their home as if it were ours The beauty of the home was extraordinary; every room was meticulously designed and adorned by Don, a true artist Each breakfast was a feast which included fresh brewed coffee, juice, fruit, and a variety of delicious entrees Indeed, we look forward to our next visit with Don and Tom We enthusiastically recommend staying at Don’s Elegante’ Bed and Breakfast without hesitation

My husband and I stayed for one night back in February and when we go back we’ll definitely stay longer! The room was extremely comfortable: besides the king bed, it had a private patio and a full bathroom The owners, Don and Tom, are absolutely delightful We immediately felt welcomed into their home

Breakfast was delicious and their pets (two chihuahuas and a cockatoo) were charming We would absolutely recommend the Elegante to anyone looking for a unique stay in the Phoenix area We can’t wait to go back!

Nancy Clifford

I stayed here for just one night, at the end of a long long trip through Arizona and California

what a lovely oasis I found! The place was easy to find and parking was a breeze Don greeted me and showed me around, handing me a tall cool glass of water His home is lovely; highly decorated and very comfortable I was in the English Cottage room, very warm, inviting and comfortable, with a wonderfully comfortable bed Breakfast was great, and Don is a very good cook! Checking in and checking out were incredibly easy Except for a 5-night stay in a Sacramento Airbnb, Don’s place was by far the most comfortable Andre most reasonably priced I intend to stay there every time I’m in Phoenix if they’ll have me Don and Tom are great hosts, and the pooches were as well You really can’t go wrong at Don’s Elegante B&B!

Check in like normal, first room smelt like smoke even though it was a non smoking All hallways smells like weed, cable box was broken so was given a new room Second room had a used rag in the bathroom and was out fully stock bathroom stuff

Tiles were a bit loose Other guest blew their nose in the pool and there was dead bug in the pool, hot tub was closed Was under the impression that we get a continental breakfast, but it was not in our package

Julianne Wood

I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it However when I checked in this time, they changed my room without asking me I was told it was my fault, which when pressed further revealed it had nothing to do with me

I wanted a king bed and didn’t care if it was a suite or not I was told that was there was none available If fact, not one was available within 10 miles When I asked to see a manager for the 5th time in this process, I was finally told, he left at 5 (it was 5:20) and would not back until the next morning at 10am I was able to get on the Hilton app and find one less than 3 miles away! I was very disappointed with Faith and her treatment of me Instead of trying to help, she obviously was trying to get me to go away Which I did I really hope they get better training for the people left in charge I also hope Ms Faith learns not to lie or be so dismissive of long time Hilton customers The simple fact is if had they bother to offer me a glass of water, not lied to me and actually helped me instead of pushing me off to help others including the GrubHub guy, I wouldn’t be wasting my time on the review

Ed De La Vara

This place is trash I paid $217 to stay for 7 hours because I booked at 3:30am and got in at 4am and checkout is at 11 No pro rate no discount

No late checkout Room was hot Mini fridge did not work Coffee maker did not work Hidden fees and charges Was told when booking it would be $162 and it ended up being $217 Manager won’t even call me back so I’m blasting them on here Do not stay here
