This hotel is a hidden gem! It’s a pleasant surprise when you walk in to a great layout of a big spacious open concept room with a comfy king size bed, couch, tables, new furnishings and porcelain granite and marble tiles on the counters ; great job on the renovating!👍🏻 I tried both the normal and kitchenette rooms (which are the same price) and they are very spacious and modern! I’m pleasantly pleased with the aesthetics and cleanliness Great stay Good price for extended stay rooms (kitchenette rooms) as well and staff is willing to work with you**Unfortunately I only took this pic the rest are vids and you can’t post those😭 but you won’t be disappointed**

If I could put -1 stars I would Tried to get a room because the location looked decent but as we arrived not only were the staff not helpful Their seemed to be a problem with us wanting a clean room

I’m just devastated and can’t believe that at this moment during convoid-19 they were so quick to get mad and told us we are not aloud to stay because we asked if we can have a clean room So instead they asked us to go somewhere else??? I don’t know what to think right now Do they even sanatize these rooms and take the precautions that we should be taking during these hard times

Do not go and leave your money to these people, they are rude, ignorant, the owner or manager should report it so that they investigate it, I asked for a receipt and charges extra for receipt, so is he evading taxes? Hello IRS? Also that manager or I do not know if he is the owner the next day before 11 o’clock they are already knocking on the door that you leave now The hotel is clean and new but the service is TERRIBLE these people believe that they are in their country and it is not like that here in the USA you must treat the customer well

This business claims it is a “3 star hotel” with a 41 star rating on google maps, but this is deceptive This is not a 3 star hotel and does not deserve its rating

Let’s start with the breakfast “Ending” at 9am would not be the best assortment, because it is only bread, a waffle maker, and cereal Thus, there is no reason to even “close” the breakfast at the early hour of 9am since there is nothing being served, it all sits there day to day Next, we had no TV remote in our room When I asked for one, I was given one that did not work The rooms are pretty loud with noise coming from outside easily There are very thing curtains that do not keep out the light The office chair and the desk in the room were also broken Everything had a shoddy unkempt feel Would not recommend a stay here

I checked in earlier and unfortunately, a couple was having booking issues that they were very confused about The poor receptionist was very flustered and I’m sure she had been going through a lot today After about 20 minutes, my mom stepped in and politely asked for the receptionist to help us and another woman who had been waiting since the issue seemed to be taking a long time

I have a chronic illness, so I was incredibly ill and really needed to get to a room to lie down, so I really appreciated when my mom spoke up After helping the other waiting woman, the receptionist ignored my mom and continued helping with the issue that the couple was having (it seemed to be something the couple probably did wrong on accident) My mom had already stated that she had somewhere to be (and was already late for), but the receptionist acted more rudley towards her and only helped after she mentioned me being ill The receptionist acted more kindly to the couple who were borderline attacking her, and I completely understand how difficult it is to deal with some obstacles, but that shouldn’t affect service to guests that act kindly and with understanding Despite everything that happened and feeling like I was going to collapse, I still wished the receptionist and the couple a nice day It would be nice if the hotel had a better system for weird issues with bookings and knew how to prioritize certain guest experiences Things like this can be fixed easily with proper staffing and systems in place I will not base my whole rating of this hotel on that one experience, but that experience is certainly something I’ve never had to come across before Just know that check in can take any length of time, depending on who checks in first (Ps 2 hours later, and the couple is still in the lobby working on the issue)A couple of things about the rooms:The beds seem fine and the room seems cleanIt is impossible to close the blackout curtains, and they are only present for decorationThe AC unit tells you to use a wall thermostat to change it, but the wall thermostat doesn’t really do anything either I set it in the off position after waiting for things to get warmer, and it is stoll blowing It was set to 61 degrees when we arrived, which is far too cold for someone with circulation problemsThere is also only one full sized bathroom towel for a room with 2 queen beds, and 2 occupants on the bookingThere is also absolutely no soap in the bathroom either, or shampoo or conditioner No coffee cups with the coffee machine And the window is very dirty We could go down to the desk and ask for more things, but you shouldn’t have to do that just to get the basic amenities that were meant to be provided with the room

Miriam Balbin

Hotel Short staffedThe front desk clerk also does laundry, housekeeping and other dutiesRug smells bad

TV says weak signal so it’s not working You have to put your garbage and your dirty towels outside your room and pick up clean ones at the front desk No daily housekeeping Incredible

I Paid for a two day stay It was night time when I checked in The front desk guy which is the owner of the company said I would be checking out sun night after when conversed about what I needed

Sunday morning around 10:45am I wake up to an automatic call basically saying my check out time was for 11:00am I give them a call immediately and all that the wife could tell me is that he may have made a mistake when he said that but the check out time is for 11:00am and that it would cost another $50 to stay until 6:00pm Not only was that situation unprofessional but now I feel like I was robbed of my money and kicked out I WILL NOT be going back there or recommending anyone to stay there-Sincerely, Joshua

My girlfriend and I stay here quite often when we attend events in Houston We recently booked again for 2 nights We usually use some kind of booking app, some of them provide discounts

At check in, the clerk seemed quite disgruntled/ annoyed that we’d gotten the room at a discounted price We thought nothing much of it, until we happened to land in a room with lights missing, no working TV or air conditioning Of the many times we have stayed here, there is not a single issue When we called the front desk, the same clerk answered with no help at all Didn’t know how to fix anything, offered no solution, told us to turn on the AC Dude, clearly we have been trying that Anyways, since we are both non confrontational and already unpacked/ taking showers, we stayed in the room and just decided to never stay at this hotel again 3 stars because the rooms are mostly clean, we did get a room once with blood near the door The wifi barely works and the hairdryers all smell like old cigarettes I guess you get what you pay for :’)

I stayed one night and booked this motel based on the reviews and location I checked in after dark, the parking lot is very well lit The room is a good size and clean

Includes microwave and small refrigerator Everything else is very sparse as you would expect at a budget motel The towels are small and rough Bed is firm but not overly hard Pillow is thick and it was very difficult for me to find a comfortable way to sleep using their pillow I would recommend asking for an upstairs room My room was downstairs and as luck of the draw would have it the people in the room directly above me were constantly jumping and playing around except from 1am-4:30 am Very difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper like me (And I even sleep with ear plugs, it didn’t help in this situation) The walls are thin as well, you can hear the phone conversations next door Also I noticed people tended congregate just outside my door in the parking lot and you can definitely hear their conversations If I could have slept more than 3 hours I would have given it 4 stars

My stay was a great experience! Room was very clean & comforting, has a great atmosphere & it was to my liking Employees like Jenny, & Richita were kindhearted, considerate & very helpful The night guy helped me & gave me directions, that was very thoughtful

They made me feel like if I was right at home I will recommend staying here & have enjoyed my stay immensely Thank You!!🙂🙏

Michelle T (Me_no names)

It was a nice stay because of the staff I won’t call it clean or wonderful but the stay-cation that I booked for me n my man went without a hitch and if I needed anything they were too happy to help and didn’t mmd my best friend and her man stopping in any time during my stay like some motels do when u have a visitor So that was nice

Felt kinda like a home away from home with out the people bugging us It was quiet for the most part and the best thing is that they have a security officer all night long making sure you and your car is safe ! Great staff makes me want to stay again! Thank you guys!

Friendly staff, front desk was friendly and James let me know where everything in the area was Room was clean with pretty nice soaps/shampoo/conditioner along with a Keurig and plenty of coffee in the room Breakfast was also outstanding

I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in the Houston area even if I have to drive a little out of the way Can’t beat the price for the quality I got!

Chris Smith

My NW Pic nomatter what I’m there for now! Place was impeccable in comparison to similar price properties Staff was more than friendly and helpful, James at the desk went out of his way consistently with his dedicated and genuinely helpful options From our request of whirlpool in the room to late checkout, local food and silverware our restaurant forgot he was ahead of the game

Can’t say enough about their efforts and our experience WILL BE BACK

Gary Matthews

I stayed here May 6th, on a Friday to rest up for my drive to Austin and San Antonio the following morningEntering the hotel to check in, I was warmly greeted by James the front desk clerk, he was very professional answered all my questions and gave me good information about the area that surrounded the hotel James, along with myself and other guests waiting to check in, set the atmosphere for our stay

MANAGEMENT IS POOR AND I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE Me and my 7month old daughter was in the car when he approached my vehicle telling me to move and that I was not welcomed there if I wasn’t a customer I explained to him that my boyfriend was pulling in right now to get the room and he said he didn’t care that I needed to move

They’re too many bad reviews on this location and something needs to be done about it I will do everything in my power to get him out of the office He had no right to mistreat me especially with my daughter in my arms

Vonique Hatchett

Would not recommend! The manager made me feel very uncomfortable he was watching me inside of the car while I was sitting there picking up a friend from the hotel wasn’t even there for 20 minutes and it was flashing the light at me as I was sitting in the car through the window then when I got out to inform him that I was not a suspicious character he proceeded to tell me that I did not belong there I needed to leave and that they only service customers I was like sir “I am a customer” then he proceeded to say “I do not care” I am formed him that I will be letting corporate know of his racial behavior and that there was no reason for him to act like that he did very poor manners and Touchman highly disappointed in an amazing resume that was displayed in a brief time that I was at this hotel motel

I definitely feel like he wrote down my license plate number very creepy would not recommend him

Donald Cheatham

My wife and I needed a quick get away on our anniversary on 4/17/2020 and tried this place to spice things up First room had an issue with the water pressure, however the owner Chris accomodated us very well Was more than happy to move us to another room

On top of that, in the middle of the night/early morning, we needed some extra towels, and he had them brought to us I definitely recommed this place Very clean, very nice decor, good internet, and a non smoking room that didn’t smell like smoke Will definitely be back again

Couldn’t recommend this place enough It’s so amazingly clean and spacious The stove really threw me off in a good way because I was not expecting to be able to cook my own breakfast

Housekeeping came everyday to knock on my door and ask if I needed cleaning/refills The lobby staff were also super kind The only thing that could’ve been better is the included breakfast because the main dishes were just cereal or pastries from warehouse stores However, they have good compliments like OJ, good coffee, yogurt, fruit and the essential utensils/plates if you’re making your own breakfast The WiFi worked some of the time, but not all the time A bonus is that the hotel is very near a bus stop, so I could travel downtown Houston, Vintage Park, or Target without issue I’ve been to several national franchises, but Palace Inn Blue Tomball Parkway is the best hotel I’ve been ever Truly recommend 100%

bosnlplfan

A nice little place, kind of like a modernized motel The rooms were spacious and clean, and someone took the time to match the décorThe staff was very friendly and welcoming

The breakfast is only grab-and-go, but there was cereal, fruit, yogurt, and snacks You could also get coffee, juice, or bottled water

We’ve been here for about 6 weeks now and are very happy Houston isn’t exotic or beautiful, but Fallbrook is a nice spot for city RV life The couple that manages the property are kind and attentive to the resort

Everything is very clean Other tenants are tidy There’s a lake in the center, a dog wash area, dog walking trail, free air, propane services, a nice pool with a shaded pavilion, other pavilions for use, small workout area, computer rooms, billiards and indoor shuffle board, ICE MACHINE and they sell bagged ice, too, very clean laundry facilities Overall a great property in the middle of a huge city

Heather George

My husband and I have spent many relaxing and luxurious months at this beautiful Fallbrook RV Resort We have enjoyed walking and sitting by the peaceful lake and watching the ducks and wildlife The fountain in the center of the lake is so soothing after a busy day

The pool and hot tub are awesome and resort quality On cool evenings, my husband loves sitting at the luxurious outdoor bar area sipping Scotch at the granite counter tops by the warm gas fire The Park is clean, lovely and very well kept The Managers, Cameron and Rachel are absolutely the best! They are fun, professional and keep the park in exquisite order We always look forward to staying here and miss it when we’re gone We’re looking forward to returning back in September Please hold our spot Rachel and Cameron!

Ashley Mann

We went down to Houston for baseball tournament weekend This place was perfect! We enjoyed staying at Fallbrook We used the hot tub, pool table, out door grill, propane fire pits, rocking chairs, showers, complimentary coffee and popcorn

This place is so peaceful in the middle of the city Once you pass through the gates it is like a little piece of heaven Rachel and Cameron and the staff were so nice and helpful If we ever have to go back to Houston we will be staying there again It was wonderful!

Pros: Young man at the front desk on the night shift was very friendly and kind The price is very fair, and the facilities are generally clean and look newCons: First room smelled strongly of pot

The other available room of the same type was being cleaned for smoke smell, as well I ended up in a room that was fine–I’m not picky on configuration–but during the night, pot smell started coming in from the adjoining room Additionally, at 3 or 4 in the morning, there was lots of yelling and activities from the tenants in the surrounding area I would just suggest the owner invest in additional staff or security to ensure that a few tenants don’t disrupt the stays of the majority who are abiding by the tenant guidelines

The McKinnons Epic Journey The McKinnon Family

Paper thin walls! Could hear your neighbor having intercourse! Thank God for the white noise maker app on my phone I arrived at 10 pm No one was at the front desk

The door bell did not work I also had to call the the office while standing in front of their “window” check in The guy was in the lobby apparently He said he did not see me walk up even though I knocked on the sliding glass door and the glass window🤷🏾‍♀️ If you just need a cheap place to stay with no bed bugs, this is just what this place is Do not expect to sleep though if you are a light sleeper Also, it seems that it is a trend of this place to not have anyone at the front desk I wonder how it got 45 stars in the first place which led me stay here This will be last time I will stay at a Econo Lodge
