Staff was friendly and breakfast was very good! I’m only giving 4 stars because when I slept on the sofa bed, it wasn’t the comfiest It was flat and not a typical comfy bed like I am used to We drove hours from home towards our vacation stop and we’re very tired so I just wanted a little more comfort

Very clean and a good overnight stay

The rooms in the tower are

Okay If you don’t mind a small bathroom If your room number starts with a seven or higher Good luck You are in the 1970s Holiday inn out back You will definitely get your steps in getting out to your room from the lobby Front desk service is above average Restaurant service, food, prices, drinks, wait times are well below the norm Do not eat here You will starve before your food arrives and you will end up paying two to three times the value of what you get Drinks are not priced appropriately for a second rate Hotel bar, at the airport Overall, the hotel needs a serious refresh Attention should also be paid to maintenance The elevators are not in great shape There is also a massive plumbing leak in the lobby

Overall great hotel The staff I encountered was very nice and pleasant From the front desk clerk to the house keeping lady

Check-in was very smooth and easy Room was nice and clean, every day Bathroom is very small but no big deal The air didn’t seem to be working very well It wasn’t hot but it wasn’t the coldest Over all a good place to stay I’d return if I’m ever in the area again

Jennifer Fredericks

We arrived at the hotel warm multiple people were checking in on a Friday night They had one very nice lady at the desk trying to manage the entire front desk check in along with phones Management needs to staff appropriately and not have one person

I felt bad for the front desk lady She was professional efficient and polite I expect much better from Hilton Shame on management

Today we arrived at a competitor hotel with 3 rooms It was a bad experience I called around and found SpringHill Suites

I’m a long time loyal Marriott member and have never had a bad experience Ashleigh answered the call literally and figuratively She was super nice and accommodated our needs for 3 rooms including 1 handicapped accessible Her exceptional customer service (with us and seeing her interact with other guests) reminds me why I keep returning to this brand I hope Ashleigh is recognized for her superior customer service

José Mantilla

Pros: staff were nice, amenities were good, shuttle to airport has decent hours, but isn’t 24/7Cons: found a dead roach on the floor and a live roach on leaving my apartment I understand cockroaches are common in the current location/season, so understandable but also gross Shower amenities weren’t great (conditioner left my hair sticky), walls were thin and could hear neighbors

Ela Avelar

Arrived a little after 9pm Check-in was fast and easy since we did on-line pre checkWe got a room in the 1st floor

The lobby and front desk are pretty clean and nice looking Parking lot is well litUpon entering the room, it was a bit “smelly” like musty or humid, dirty smellThe layout is a little odd but it had plenty of room for usThe room is dated, which is fine by me, but it was dirty and stained as you can see in the picturesFound a couple bugs on the wallCarpet was dirty and stained as wellIt was muggy and turning the ac to 68° didn’t really help much The room got cold and wet is the only way to describe itWalls are thin so you can hear a lot of the surroundingsBeds were not comfortableBreakfast was lacking for a SpringHill Suites and the the prices they chargeThis is not the 1st time we have used this chain of hotels but this will be the last time we use this particular location I would not recommend it to anyone especially if you’re traveling with children or staying more than one nightI’ll say my biggest issue was the lack of cleanlinessThey really need to get a better cleaning service and cleaning guidelines

I love this place The customer service was not so great the first day I checked in The lady was snobby and act like she didn’t want to work with me

She didn’t even ask me if I wanted any complimentary water, but ask the young man before me It didn’t matter, I had my own water But you and i both know customer service compliments the company The next day the front desk service was great The lady was so nice

Christina Swayne

Absolutely awful experience We purposely booked this hotel because they had an airport shuttle and we CALLED prior to making sure of it The day before we have a flight out they let us know the shuttle is no longer 24 hours so our family would have to find other options since we had an early flight

Mind you, our whole intent to stay there with the shuttle was because we have young children and a shuttle is much more convenient than lugging car seats Really disappointed Also on a side note, my husband had NUMEROUS bites on his arms and legs the next day which we believe may have been bed bugs Do not recommend at all

Ryan Rivkin

The service was great and the food was what you expect out of a hotel and no bad comments there however the room that we had felt damp when I first walked in and I took my shoes off it felt almost like they had gone through a carpet cleaning but that didn’t change throughout our stay I don’t know if the AC units aren’t able to keep up with the humidity but other than that the bed was super comfortable I had a great night sleep and we love the fact that this location has an electric vehicle charger because we drive up from Sarasota with our electric vehicle

Well I am handicapped and there were three people in our party They changed our room from two queens/doubles to a king with a pull out bed The beds were less than comfortable

My son who is 11 that stayed with us had to use the pull out couch and he said it was very uncomfortable They were only towels for two so we had to go back to get new ones for the third person in the party that we had booked for Then we had to go back for a pillow As there were not three of those either Now I asked the lady if they were going to have boiled eggs for breakfast She said no due to the pandemic they would not They had oranges and apples How can you have eggs that you peel not be there but apples that you don’t peel be there in The dining room? There was no meat cereal or you could make your own waffle and a few things of bread and cereal There was Apple and orange juice and coffee There were signs up that said do not take the food back to your room Very disappointing Now next comes critiquing the room She said this was during the pandemic so I would’ve expected the room to be spotless Another great disappointment I am not sure when they dusted last but I think it was probably when they built the place One of the remote controls didn’t work the handicap bars in the bathroom were filthy Video attached Now when you are handicapped you like to have the handicapped shower so that it is lower Again another broken item that had so much dust on it that I know it had been broken for a while (See picture) In the center they have a kitchen area I am not sure when the last time they clean the wall but I could’ve probably had a full meal on the food that was there (See picture) The light on my wife side of the bed didn’t work The cups in the cabinet weren’t clean so we had to wash them also before we use them When I arrived and I asked if they could bring extra linens to the room as I have listed above they told me they had no housekeeping We arrived about five or 5:30 PM The reason that they had moved me to a different room is because they said that some government workers had extended their stay And so if somebody decides to extend their stay the new party has to suffer?

Heather Hatton

Stayed here for my daughters birthday last night and asked for late checkout while I was checking in as we didn’t get in until late and desk attendant said that would be fine, checkout would be at 12:00 instead of 11:00 As we are packing our things to leave room attendants pounded on the door at 11:03 saying we were supposed to be out I notified them that the previous night we had late checkout for 12:00 approved

5 minutes goes by and a different front desk attendant starts calling the room rudely yelling that I needed to get out that they have government personnel on the way that rented the room and I cannot stay This was after room switches due to half of the suite not getting power, dirty hot tub and pool, bathroom issues that needed addressing, etc Customer service by the day crew has been absolutely subpar at best Will also be contacting booking agency as this has been a complete joke

Kris DiFatta

The first room was very hot, with a strange smell There was no bathtub, only a shower that leaked, and there was a wedding reception loudly thumping music below the roomThe front desk was very kind and moved us to another room

The second room was much cooler and quieter, with a bathtub The beds were softThe pool was closed for treatment so we were unable to use it Breakfast was simple, but sufficient There were no extra pillows for the pull out bed, and the front desk said they didn’t have any to provide There were also strange notes taped up all over the hotel with instructions of things not to do (ie don’t leave trash bags outside your door for house keeping, breakfast is only to be eaten downstairs, not in your room, etc)Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but the price is a little steep for a basic hotel in need of an update

The location is perfect and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and a few shops We were in town to see family for the weekend and the hotel met our needs for a quick stay Pros: The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, and staff was very friendly

Cons: the pillows are horrible, hotel is dated and not really comparable to the photos, you have to request a stay over cleaning for less than 4 days of stay and go to the front desk and ask for new toiletries if you need them Breakfast was good and several options, it would be great to have flavored coffee creamer Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend and will consider again when we need a quick hotel for a few nights

mitch riley

Just finished a 5 night start at this hotel Good location about 5 min walk to the beach and good restaurants nearby The staff is so nice and helpful when approached

Breakfast was great and well sockedThe only issue was the cleanliness of the room It was disgusting on arrival to the point that we didn’t even bother calling housekeeping The sheets had stains and there was so much hair shed on the pillows Bathroom was also gross We cleaned the space ourselves Really contemplated biking the hotel for our time and products we usedThese are the pros and cons of our stay

Rebecca Koester

This place was perfect for me! It was dog friendly, the staff was nice, accommodating, and so chill! The location was amazing and it Is so close to the beach and everything and anything! The pool was the perfect escape from the hot beach! Was the room super fancy? No, but I didn’t choose this hotel for a super fancy room I’m chose it because it was simple and practical! I know I will be back!

WOW Okay so first I want to say, this is the very first trip my wife and I have made together We chose Amelia Island to be our honeymoon destination and it was a GREAT choice

Sea Cottages of Amelia was great in so many ways From the ease of access to check in, to the kind people you encounteredWhen we arrived, there were carts for us to place our luggage in and roll to our room The parking lot had great space for us and it was not overcrowded or overwhelming When we entered the room, it was PERFECT We had a studio and it was equipped with everything we needed for the week The kitchen area was spacious, the couch was perfect, the air conditioning was AMAZING, the shower and bathroom had space and was very cleanWe were so impressed by the cottages and how close we were to the beach It was about a 5 minute walk down and we were right next to great places to eat If you want to drive, you’ll be looking at a 10 minute drive to downtown area but that is NOT BAD Parking was perfect the whole way aroundAll in all, we loved our stay and will be staying again Communication between us and the management before hand made the experience smooth, they even put flowers in our room so I could surprise my wife! It was something else!! STAY HERE!!

Kelly

We had a fantastic stay at the Sea Cottages of Amelia Island! I truly felt like they thought of everything you’d need in your cottage giving you the comforts of home The decor and Sea Cottage itself was inviting and well thought out We loved the location on Sadler and convenience to the beach/downtown

We enjoyed talking with the staff in the lobby area Betsy and Glen gave us great activity ideas and wonderful restaurant recommendations Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back soon!

Regina Carmon

This was a great find Close to the beach but quiet and not crowded They are dog friendly and so is the beach

Most amenities are provided If your room doesn’t have a stove just check the cabinets and you will find a single cooking eye The microwave is also a convection oven Everything you need without the fluff and extras We were very pleased and will book again

Definitely will become my Number One go-to hotel when I am in the area Lucinda, the front desk associate, was very helpful, kind and patient from the initial booking interaction Over the phone, I knew I’d selected the perfect ‘get away’ stay, because of her promptness and welcoming personality

She even assured me that she’d be here upon arrival on check in date which made me feel even more comfortable In fact, when I arrived, she instantly remembered my voice and greeted me by name Reggie, the Manager on duty, was also very personable, and took the initiative to stand and greet me formally The room seemed to be clean as I completed a walk through inspection! Customer Service is ALWAYS a winner for me!!

Kandi Williams

The staff was nice( upon checking in the lady held a nice short conversation to welcome us and upon checking out we were thanked for coming and wished safe travels back home😊), breakfast was good( even though I wish they had offered turkey meat because we don’t eat pork), the only issue we had was with our room We found some hair on one of the beds and in the bathroom sink, and a blood like stain on the mattress when we took the covers off before we left

Christine M

The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful and fairly friendly I appreciated the breakfast bar and gym I stayed in two different rooms – the first was great, the second had a deadbolt that wouldn’t work, and when I picked up the hotel phone to report it, it didn’t work either

They moved me to a new room There was bad weather so I tried scrolling through the channels to find the weather channel, though the remote was in rough shape and the buttons hardly worked – took me a long time to get to the right channel It just made me feel like the place was a bit old and neglected in some ways I’d definitely stay there again, as it was far more positive than not

This hotel is very convenient to major highway (but not too close for noise) It has a nice breakfast offered, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, breakfast breads/muffins Good coffee and warm cookies in the later afternoon! The room was comfy

Bed/pillows very comfy nice to have fridge/freezer/microwave, especially staying a few days Shower had a handy seat if anyone needed Coffee maker/coffee was great A/C was pretty decent It cycled a bit loudly, but I appreciated you could keep air circulating constantly with fan option The only dislike was a carpet cleaner/odor smell, but nothing terrible The window curtains need to be about six inches longer to block out the very bright parking lot lights I just used pillows to block light! Quiet, lots of nearby dining/groceries and a few minutes to downtown quaint St Mary’s I’ll stay again!

Courtney Carlton

Absolutely LOVED staying here! This is our new go to place in this area, as a family who travels A LOT we have seen our fair share of hotels This place was high on our list The check in staff we encountered was so sweet and informative

Our room was cozy and comfortable and SUPER CLEAN The entire hotel smelt clean, was clean, and so welcoming The weight room was clean and neat Pool was wonderful Breakfast selection was delightful and had something for everyone Will definitely be using them in the future and referring everyone here Pricing was fair and worth every penny All the many staff we met was courteous and helpful The hotel is in a busy area but felt like it wasnt I cannot say enough good things!

This place is truly the Best Western Came in after driving and was tired Rolled in about 12:30 am

Gentleman up front was nice and pleasant He gave me a wonderful room that smelled like mold Everything was damp Requested a room change The room was changed with no issues foundFell asleep and woke up from the same front desk gentleman telling everyone there is a fire at the gas station next door and we are required to evacuateWe had a ball outside watching the firefighters put out the fireWhat other adventures await for us at 2:30 in the morning Can’t wait!!!!

Traveling with two elderly, small dogs and needed accommodation for one night where potty breaks for them were not a logistical nightmare Nailed it here Ground floor room had vinyl flooring that was somewhat textured so they weren’t sliding around on the floor

Enough space to put their dog beds down Potty area was a few doors down a hallway and straight out onto a level grass area Rubbish bin located sensibly Best pet friendly accommodation so far Room was clean and all amenities functional Other pet owning guests were polite and considerate Will stay here again 😃

Had 2 good rooms here, one standard and one king suite I stayed a week and I can’t say I have any complaints, beyond housekeeping ignoring the do not enter sign 2 hrs before checkout They even had flavored creamer 24/7 and half/half

Some places lock it down They have vending machines and laundry equipment Unfortunately there is no change machine Good water pressure, comfortable beds, and the king suite was nice except for the smaller TV than the regular rooms It was great for meetings in the room, physical or zoom, and will probably only stay in a king suite next time

Pauline Torres

A great stay! The first night, the AC in our room was not cooling properly Kim at the front desk did everything she could to resolve the issue, but it could not be fixed (it was late at night) She brought in a fan for the night and the next morning, maintenance replaced the unit with a new one

Aila who works the breakfast area was very polite and patient with all our questions The room was clean and spacious Pet friendly hotel Good price Would stay here againA couple of suggestions: the bathroom had no fan, which would be good for hot showers or “stinky deposits” and the only light was an extremely bright ceiling light Maybe a smaller, less bright light to keep on during the night for late night excursions to potty

freda frey

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked this place for an overnight stay on our way to Florida It is just okay, however, I would not stay there again for a few reasons First of all, when we walked into the room, it had a stuffy odor

not musty really, but quite noticeable Otherwise, it did look clean Secondly, our bed had a very noticeable squeak every time you moved In addition, the pillows were truly horrible small, lumpy, poly-filled Breakfast was quite good with a variety of food Overall, for a one-night stay it was just okay at best, but I will pass on this hotel next time

I wish I could give a higher rating, but I can’t Most of the staff I came in contact with were super nice and helpful The room, on the other hand, was awful

The toilet handle kept falling out, and there was broken and loose tiles in the bathroom The beds were the hardest and most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever encountered in a hotel The pullout bed, which we needed, was unusable It was nasty, dirty, and even a ten year old couldn’t sleep on it One of the beds (doubles, not queens) was literally 2 hand widths from the a/c unit, so whomever was in that bed was getting blasted with air The breakfast left much to be desired The lady working the breakfast was more interested in closing the thing down than she was restocking any items If the reservations hadn’t been non-refundable I would have taken my family to another hotel I have over 500 stays at Marriott, and can confidently say that this is NOT a good representation of the Marriott brand

Chloe Dupuis

If you can avoid it, don’t stay here This is a very (very) old hotel The lobby and breakfast area and nice and updated, but the rest is just so old

The room we had was small and dingy There was an old odor Old carpets, old furniture, old bathroom In general, the room was clean But it is so old that the ceilings and walls, wall paper etc are so stained and used We left the window open all night to air the place outThankfully we only stayed one night We didn’t interact with the staff much, though they seemed friendly

Daniel Robinson

Easily the least comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel Maybe the king beds are better – I can’t speak to those, but this bed was awful It’s not just the firmness, I’m good with a firm bed, but holy hell, just super uncomfortable

And the pillows suck Granted, nearly all hotel pillows suck, but still Also, the turn to get back to the hotel is weird and unmarked – maybe it’s easier during the day

Stunned with condition of this particular Holiday Inn Express location Start with the good:1 Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff

2 Free hot breakfast (cinnamon rolls, pancakes, eggs, sausage gravy, muffins, cereal)3 Quiet, safe location and about a mile from River City MarketplaceThe bad:1 Air quality is not so great inside rooms Feels a bit thick and dirty smelling Even hallways and elevators are not properly cooled Only ground floor lobby and dining areas are There’s definitely mold throughout the rooms2 AC is not central but wall unit Bed blocks airflow, making most of the room a tad too warm3 Cockroaches throughout the room In a hotel This is a first for me, and I’ve stayed in some dump of hotels throughout the years If you see one there are a heck of a lot more nearby4 Parking becomes a challenge after 5pm I had to wait for a spot to openStaff very friendly But the appearance of roaches, inadequate and dirty ventilation system, and too few parking spaces negates that There are multiple other options literally right next door

Very comfortable and clean! Lots of places to sit, a lot of room and perfect for a family Included 2 Queen beds (more on the firmer side), pull out queen sofa, desk, coffee table, TV, lots of outlets for charging electronics, lots of lighting/lamp options, soft & fluffy pillows, microwave, dishes, dish soap, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, garbage disposal, plenty of wastebaskets, recycling bins, plenty of shelving, a closet and a curtain to separate the beds from the other half of the room Offered breakfast, but we left too early for a flight to be able to partake in that so I’m not sure what was available

There was 24/7 decaf, gourmet and hot H20 in the lobby with a variety of creams, sweeteners, teas to make, hot chocolate packets and to go cups/regular mugs available Staff was great too!

Once Upon a Cruise

Dirty, smelly and disgusting! We stayed for one night on Christmas Eve, 2021 on our way down to Tampa It was one of the few places that would allow our dog We are Hilton Honors members and have never had an issue with any Hilton property

The room we got was very spacious and had decent amenities However, it was NOT CLEANED FROM THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANTS There were TOENAIL CLIPPINGS on the floor, clothing receipts and change sitting on the bedside table HAIR IN THE SHOWER and SINK Food crumbs in the kitchen and also on the TV table The toilet had fecal stains in it and the toilet seat had what appeared to be either blood or fecal stains I nearly threw up because I stepped in something sticky on the bathroom floor! Totally unacceptable We called down to the front desk and they switched us to another room It was barely better but we were exhausted and needed to sleep at least a little to get to our new house in Tampa on Christmas day The front desk person was very nice and apologetic She advised that all managers were off due to the holiday Bad management leads to bad behavior We were told that we would be contacted by someone within the next few days That never happened See? Bad management This place is supposed to be new and it was so nasty It smelled like hot garbage in the hallway of the first room we were given That should have been a sign We should have stayed in our car It was cleaner and less smelly

GO ELSEWHERE! AVOID THIS HOTEL!! We left the hotel after being assigned to room that smelled, overlooked (right outside the window) a pool desk where a mess of adult locals were playing in baby pools filled with ice when there was a perfectly good swimming pool, and all over “used look” to the place Signs at the front desk were worn They did not have to water and snack bags they are supposed to have for Honors Club members saying it was the pandemic; last nights Hampton had them

The GM said the only other room he could swap us to had no a/c, (this is 96 degree FL summer weather) and he had just spoke to another guest on the phone saying he had no maintenance person on staff We were early check-ins and he could have found us an upgrade or another room When I pointed out Hilton’s satisfaction guarantee he reply was clear that he was quite used to receiving and rebuffing complaints against his poorly managed location If we had stayed we would have had revelers outside our window until 10 or later Hilton Honors rebooked us at another property Until there is a top down change from the owners and a renovation of a worn out hotel, drive by this one Its the worst HOME 2 we have ever visited

5 star actually for Reba the front desk agent for the smile kindness and being attentive My room was nice except for the sheets that smelled like it was used before so its good that i had two beds What made this stay amazing was Reba, handled my issue well and served with a smile

I went to Southern Coffee in Neptune Beach and felt like the crew didn’t like working there So Reba is a good example to them as to how they should be working Thanks Aloft and definitely will be back

As a Marriott Titanium member I stay in hotels every week The staff with Aloft is friendly and professional from the check in process to the check out process I have stayed many times with this hotel

There is always fresh coffee early every morning On a side note: I recently stayed at this hotel and after driving down the road I realized I left some documents on my desk When I called Cassandra was so willing to check the room, call me back and emailed all my necessary documents She went above and beyond for great customer service!

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and we highly recommend! Staff was wonderful! The front desk, bar tenders, housekeeping, all of em! We were traveling with our 2 greyhounds, and they were not only accommodating, but went out of their way to make our pups comfortable! Anna, the housekeeper for our room greeted our fellas by name and left treats for them! The grounds were great for walking them as well! We will be back! The lobby area is very comfy and welcoming We loved playing pool while we had a nightcap!

Saint Mary’s, Georgia, where I and my now deceased parent’s once lived, in the early- late 1950’s, is not a friendly town!! The Manager of this hotel was very rude to me yesterday morning, when, through NO Fault of my own, I , in essence, pleaded with her, to reduce the price of another “stay-period”, since I was nearing the end of my current stay at this hotelInstead of “heart”, or , if I could possibly use the word, “Compassion”; I got a very stern, steely-eyed” Look “, and a very uncalled for, rude comment After this General Manager’s rude, ” in your face ” comment, I immediately left the front desk, and returned to my hotel room

I found a better hotel deal online, locally, and a much nicer Manager( from recent past experience )Also, at this hotel, the very first Tub- Shower I took; I found the water in the bathtub was NOT draining out of the tub!! So, my first shower, saw the tub filling with water and soap, etc, as I showered! Also, the toilet was defective, by my 3rd day, and I had to call for maintenance to fix something in the toilet tank! Maintenance was good, though, for both the draining problem, with the Tub, and the Toilet He is Hispanic, and was Much more pleasant than his boss( The Hotel Manager ) As far as Housekeeping went; I didn’t have a visit from them, until I was at this hotel 4 day’s! So, unless you are desperate for a room, I would not advise anyone booking this hotel, after my experience, here

Right now the facility is in the process of an update/renovation so there is a mix of old and new The room was newly done but still from a decor perspective felt a bit dated probably from the furniture and bath counter It was clean

We did not find the bedding particularly comfortable (mattress and pillows) For the one night we stayed we could not get the room cooled to recommended sleep temperature (until after 6 am) and I thought the sound proofing between hall noise and other random guest noises less than usual Basically not a good night sleep Breakfast appeared slightly above average– I didn’t sample Staffing appeared pleasant and eager to help We did not discuss any of the above issues since we were only there one night In summary: Pros–clean friendly and convenient but not particularly cool crisp or quiet

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at My family and I reserved a block of 8 plus rooms, over a month in advance The sheets were filthy with apparent stains and hair as if they were not changed

We requested new sheets from the front desk within five minutes of checking in to the room We waited several hours and was then informed by the front desk that housekeeping changed our bedding We did not leave the room and nobody made an attempt to enter the room and change the sheets After discussing the matter with the front desk a second time, we were given sheets to change the bedding ourselves The sheets we were provided also had stains that resembled bodily fluids The rooms were also bug infested for which the front desk seemed to be aware of as they provided us with bug spray to spray down our rooms The toilets were filthy making it evident that they were not cleaned regularly My family and I intended to stay for 3 nights but changed our hotels after one night due to the filthiness of the hotel and the lack of care from staff

Jessie

This hotel seemed clean and comfortable until 3 am when my husband woke up to bed bugs in his pillow After driving 9 hours we didn’t have the energy to go complain so decided to tough it out until morning When we went to take showers we noticed that there was a used washcloth and bar of soap inside the shower

In the morning we stepped out of our room to find a cockroach crawling outside our door Breakfast area was cramped and chaotic, and no Covid mitigation measures were in place When we complained about our experience with the bed bugs to the person at the front desk, they sighed nonchalantly and said that they “usually give a discount when this happens” but they didn’t have the authority to do it and their manager didn’t usually arrive until noon The manager did call us later and said that when inspecting the room they found “a type of bug” and would have an exterminator come as well as give us a full refund, including pet fee for our dog Glad they made it right but we will definitely not be staying here again

We made reservations earlier in the day and got to the hotel at 1:30 am The lady at the front desk was very kind and happy to great us, she got us checked in and paid our pet deposit ($20 non refundable) We got the last room of the night

The rooms are nice without going over the top if you will! The bed and pillows were very comfortable in me and my husband’s opinion The water was hot and rooms were clean I have no complaints!!

Jeff Wilson

I spent one night here on a motorcycle tripThe room I was in was a king with a sofa, and it was very nice Very clean

Oddly enough the towels were a little ratty but they were just fineHot breakfast in the morning, with plenty of seatingThe service, both in the evening and in the morning, was excellentThey have a small sundries convenience shop, and ice creamThe hotel is in walking distance of food so you don’t need to drive for dinnerI would definitely stay here again

Amanda Clampitt

I had a nice stay The room was clean, the woman at the front desk was friendly My complaint is that my credit card was charged 3 times

I was told the charges would fall off once I checked out They did not I spent 45 minutes on the phone (being placed on hold) while the manager on duty contacted the credit card company and at times had to check people in (understandable) to be provided a reference number and no refund I stayed here on 6/30 It’s now 7/5 and I still have yet to see the charges come off of my account That’s $160 of my money that’s tied up waiting My bank told me to contact the hotel, the hotel says I need to wait for the bank The charges are still pending and I am wildly frustrated I understand it’s a holiday weekend, but only one of the days in the last 5 was an actual holiday At the end of the day, this is a mistake the hotel made My card should have never been charged 3 times and I feel they haven’t done anything to make their mistake right They could have given me Wyndham points or discounted my stay for the inconvenience Just disappointed and still waiting for my money

Will Best

Everything was nice and pleasant The rooms are nice but something just disturbed me about the breakfast options Not even that it wasn’t free, that was to be expected but we ate breakfast out everyday to ensure a variety

$10 for a fruit salad buffet, and various hours they cooked, even dinner!! Just didn’t feel the menu Otherwise it was great I want to say 45 but the system wouldn’t allow that rating

Mia Joseph

The stay was good for one night The carpet smell is horrendous They need to shoot the carpet and then febreeze it

I loved the look of the room all of the amenities The only downside of you stay for breakfast you pay for it separately Why? It should be included with your stay But no matter there are plenty of restaurants within the vicinity plus city bus stops right in front of hotel for $175 I slept pretty comfortable and previous reviews was why I chose the location Very clean in the units

J Spang

Hotel was amazing I was booked here through the airlines as my flight was cancelled Room was immaculate, everything up to date

I was excited to wake up in the morning and dine at the much anticipated amazing continental and hot breakfast they had advertised Soo intensely when I first checked in Imagine my surprise when I got down to the lobby and was informed that not only was the hot breakfast NOT free, but even the continental you were paying $3 dollars for a banana Maybe I’m just “standard” class, I’ve never been to a hotel or motel for that matter that has advertised breakfast that you have had to pay for Always been included with your stay Do yourself a favor and go 30 ft to your left the Comfort Inn The rooms and lobby are pretty much the same and their breakfast is free
