This was my first time staying here about 2 weeks ago I’m sorry for the late review, but my experience was memorable! I mostly rated them a 5 because the customer service was amazing! Hospitality at it’s best!! If my memory serves me correctly, both Jennifer and Toni, were extremely helpful and I felt appreciated The room was breathtaking

I loved it! I had a wonderful sleep The only thing that really bothered me was the housekeeping lady kept knocking on my door asking about my departure time I asked for a 2pm checkout time and I was out maybe an hour earlier I feel like my time should have been communicated and no one should have knocked on my door or tried to open it I felt rushed to leave, and I did not enjoy my last hour Lastly, I would have loved for the Bistro to have better hours or more availability Still, I will return

Erica Jo Byers Pelton

We stopped and stayed here on the way to Myrtle Beach The hotel is modern and the rooms are spacious I am in a power wheelchair so it was nice to have a large room and a large bathroom with a nice roll in shower

Toni was very helpful with our check-in and answering any questions that we had They have plenty of areas to relax They have a beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating along with seating on the inside of the hotel The only downside of this hotel is that there is no breakfast It is made to order and it is a little on the pricey side However, we had a great experience and would definitely return

Kellsey Galart

We stopped on a trip home and paid $310 for one night Pool is not open, room has duct tape holding together the trim in some areas, beds are super soft so not sure how well we will sleep Thought about leaving but would be pit the $ for the room and have to pay for another room

plus got to pay for breakfast? What am I paying over 300 for amenity wise?Update: My 4 year old pulled a Jack Daniel’s bottle and boarding pass out of the couch/pull out bed, pulled back the bedding on one of the beds only for it to be dirty, and beds were terrible! Not just soft but broken down and needing replaced They did take some off the bill but honestly worst hotel stay we have ever had

As my family walked in the main entrance I was very surprised at how nice it was But as I entered the room I was some what disappointed! There was no tub only a stand up shower and the bottom of it wasn’t all that nice The couch was not vacuumed, there was hair and dirt at the top if the bed, and only had 1 wash cloth in bathroom The walls had what looked like crayon or marker on a few places

We were there with a large group and was not informed that the outdoor pool wasn’t working Breakfast was decent

Helen Jacobson

No POOL No Pool No Pool!it’s there just no water When I questioned the pool being out of order, was told it’s stated on the website It’s NOT

Searched 5 times, nothing noted on site (they probably will put something now, lol) Had 3 rooms booked, only had 2 in their system Many of the rooms we had were not clean! Some had to get a new room due to uncleanliness of original room Breakfast, Friday morning the eggs were so extremely salty we could not eat it Saturday breakfast was better, cheese omeletteIt would’ve been nice to know that their pool was, and has been out of order We could’ve went to different hotel that had a pool for all our kidsRecommendation, DO NOT STAY HERE

This is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in! No kidding! The first impression should have been a red flag but we were in town for a wedding so we sucked it up Overflowing trash and a dead plant greeted us as we entered the lobby Our first room had clearly not been cleaned

The bathroom had hair in the sink, mold in the shower and a broken toilet flusher I called the desk to change rooms but no one answered the phone I went back to the lobby to request a clean room I don’t think that term registered with the manager Our second room was only slightly better At least the toilet functioned and the sink was cleaner We did not eat the free breakfast because that area did not look very clean either Even The coffee was just lukewarm so we just went out for breakfast There was a broken liquor bottle in front of the non working elevator When I told the manager about the broken glass, she nonchalantly said that someone else mentioned that too It was finally cleaned up but there were still shards of glass visible We never did get housekeeping service to our room and when we mentioned it when we checked out, the manager acted clueless and just said she was “new”The entire hotel needs new management and housekeeping staff as a minimumAvoid Hilton hotels if at all possible! There are lots of hotels that do a much better job caring for their customers

Taiwo Adeleke

This was a horrendous experience The hotel was dilapidated and dirty The rooms are small, disgusting, smelly and outdated

There was leakage in the bathroom and kitchen sinks Which were both full of hair I’m assuming from the previous guests The breakfast was revoltingly not edible The pool was closed due to a heating issue which was false advertisement The staff was very rude and not really helpful at all There were sketchy guys coming in and out of the place all the time I don’t know if they lived there or not There were tons of garbage bags filled to capacity piled up in the hallway overnight because none bothered to come take the trash out I would have checked out early but we were there to visit my dying uncle who is in hospice with stage 4 cancer I have never stayed in a motel before but I would imagine this is how mortifying it would be This place needs new management, new housekeeping, new maintenance and remodeling as soon as possible I would never recommend anyone to stay in a Hilton Home2Suites unless they are looking for a dirty motel 6 vibe This was unacceptable I would like to file a complaint with corporate as well

Tammy Anderson

This location and its staff were great They were very welcoming and accommodating During our visit to the AAU Junior Olympics, we booked with a different hotel chain and after staying 2 nights canceled the rest of our reservation and decided to look for better accommodations

We ended up in Virginia Beach, unfortunately due to last minute we were unable to find accommodations at your any of your properties on the beach, so we stayed at another chain no words for that property Luckily for us your location had rooms available when needed to be back in Greensboro for my grandson’s last event at the Olympics It was great, the best sleep, cleanest property, family friendly, quiet, accommodating and just overall experience we had on this trip It was well worth it Pay a little more for comfort

This isn’t a 3 star hotel, was a nice hotel once but now run down, mattresses hard as a rock, pick another hotel Order something for room service, you can’t even charge it to your room, what kind of room service is that!! Had better experience at lower end brands Stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6 it has to be better than this so called 3 star

Just stay at a 2 star lower end Marriott, you’ll thank me

Jimmy Jamz

How is this rated 40, makes no sense This is a 1/2 star, 39

99/night a hotel at best PICS ARE NOTHING LIKE WHAT YOUR ROOM WILL LOOK LIKE! Do not stay here, you will regret it If you do, bring a mask, sanitizing wipes, mop, cleaning supplies, gloves, and your own sheets/blankets/pillows Also be prepared to trash/burn everything you brought with you after you leave

Michael Holdcroft

I have no idea how this hotel has a 40 star Google review It’s pretty bad…like two star at best bad

The rooms are totally run down The maintenance is horrible The hall was flooded and stinks to high heavenI would expect much better from Wyndham This is Motel 8 quality See photos of our room for proof

The worse stay at a Marriott property that I have ever had I would avoid this property at all costs Reserved a Kind suite for my family of 4 (plus infant)

Arrived and was given a King Room Hotel staff and management did nothing to accommodate our family and we were forced to sleep on one bed until later in our stay when given the correct room We had called early in week to confirm booking In lieu of the actual room I paid for, Marriott gave me $20 per night They refused to make this right with my family and I I would avoid this property if traveling to NC

Mike O’Quin

Hotel itself was fine Nothing extravagant My room was small but practical

Bed and pillows were comfortable Bathroom looked like it had been updated recently Breakfast bar was available but I didn’t try it Fitness room was very limited Two treadmills, an elliptical, light free weights and a benchMajor downside, which was a freak occurrence I’m sure, was the hotel fire alarm going off ~9pm for about 30 mins due to what I was told was a faulty sprinkler system

Dawn A

Standard Fairfield inn Room was clean, hotel looked nice Shares a parking lot with a surprisingly good asian to-go place located in a gas station

Customer service was great Did have an issue getting someone at the front desk a couple times though It felt like it was largely unmanned However, the rest of the staff I interacted with was top notchBreakfast was greatIssues: one tv was broken However, they comped us $50 (1/3 price), so I thought that was fairA big surprise was that the indoor pool was not heated It was frigid Why bother to have an indoor pool if it’s too cold to use it for half the year? My kids were really looking forward to it (Nov stay) and they couldn’t stay in for more than a few minutes because it was that cold Should’ve brought a wetsuit :-/I did try out the pullout couch bed Felt every spring coil in the 4in mattress However, the normal beds were fine

Fine for a one night stay but the hotel is clearly struggling Our room was literally 90 degrees when we arrived and it took 60 min to cool down When we questioned the front desk they said it was either set that way by the previous occupant (really?) Or housekeeping

The room was clean The door didn’t close well but we managed to secure it It was $30 less expensive than other hotels in the area

Dre Horton

Simple, Good room for a good rate Right off the interstate Nothing fancy, just solid

Nice and clean They say the serve continental breakfast However it is Way better than the regular continental breakfast at hotels were you have to make your own waffles Shell gas station is close where you can walk to to get a snack or soda If you need wifi, get the password before going to the room as it is not listed in the room

Sarah Martin

Bed was clean and comfortable AC worked Breakfast was your standard hot breakfast—no complaints

Afternoon/evening staff and cleaning people were friendly, polite, helpful Plenty of towels for the outdoor pool Our door nearly impossible to open Required multiple tries with card entry Place is def older but fine for a one-night stay Two ladies at the front desk in the AM clearly did not want to be there Lots of SMH’ing at children from them Again, not vacation destination but okay for a quick overnight

This hotel smelled so clean the moment we walked in The staff were very attentive and friendly They made sure we had everything that we needed and went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied

We were there for a family reunion and they made us feel like their family This hotel is clean and is in a great area close to nearby restaurants and stores We will definitely be back when we’re in Greensboro, NC!

Crystal Eubanks

the staff here was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable of the area, even printing direction to our destination and back to the hotel with any stops in between, thank you Miss Crystal ❤ (we joked about us having the same name LOL!)The GM, Karylis, was not only behind the desk, checking us in, handling the phones, etc but later, we saw her mopping the floors and helping her amazing housekeepers And that brings me to the cleanliness

As soon as you walk in, you can smell the sanitation and how maintained, this hotel is And to hear it’s just over 2 years old! Unreal!!! Our room was so clean and inviting, the bed was like a cloud Calling down to the Front Desk for towels or wash cloths were immediately executed Definitely our new home away from home!!!Thank you Guys!!!

Kira Ocampo

I chose to stay at this hotel again because when I came last year it was new (or newly remodeled) and I had a great stay Not to include that it’s close to North Carolina A&T This time, I wish I’d chosen another place to stay

When I checked in to room 413, the front desk clerk (who was very nice) stated that there would be a $250 charge if there was smoking in the room I would expect this rule is for everyone; however when I got to my room, it reeked of marijuana so obviously someone had been smoking I thought I would call the front desk to make sure I didn’t incur the charges for someone else; however, when I picked up the telephone, there was no dial tone and it did not work The floor in the elevator and the floors in the bedrooms were dirty with spots, that could’ve been mopped up There was a big brown stain on the carpet I am very disappointed in my stay, and will probably not be back

We upgraded this from The Worst Western to The Not the Best Western Positives are it was quiet, comfortable bed and pillows good air conditioning and the fridge freezer was amazing It froze water even in the fridge part and held so much

Downsides is it smelled of cleaner covering up pet/smoking/mold Desperately needs renovation Curtains and carpet were ripped, everything slightly moist No hot water at all… Security latch on the door was broken and hanging off I had to borrow cleaning supplies to take down a spider nest in the corner of the window near the bed However the employees were friendly and helpful as they could be No luggage cart upon check out but I was loaned a laundry bin on wheels which did the trick Next time I’ll go for a 3 star minimum hotel You get what you pay for basically

Kiani Thomas

The property itself looked great upon entry, until we got to our room The room was not vacuumed; there was left over bits of food on the floor from the previous guests We have a 10-month-old crawler and we couldn’t put him on the floor

We also booked this place because we wanted to swim; unfortunately, the pool was closed due to the misuse of previous users/guests (what we were told by front desk) The shower was also dirty; someone elses hair was on the shower curtains When checking in, the guy at the front desk did not provide any information as to the closure of the pool, when breakfast and check out was, nor were we offered additional towels since we were a family of 3 I have worked in hotel hospitality and for $140 for one night, I expected our stay to be relaxing after a long drive, with some family time at the pool I suppose we could’ve switched rooms, but we didn’t realize it was dirty until about 2100 when we were finally settling in after dinner and getting ready for bed It was too late to pack everything and move, just to sleep, wake up, and then leave I also overheard a family complaining about the cleanliness of their room, so why botherI would like to add that breakfast was decent and it wasn’t busy at 0730 There is also a good selection of restaurants around the area to try out for dinnerREPLY TO OWNER: 1) we didn’t have any friends with us during our travel and my husband, nor I, went to the front desk to inform the clerk about our room situation I am not sure who you “offered another room” to, but it was not in relation to our trip or my review2) The front desk clerk did not specify that the pool was closed due to an incident involving a baby; he made it sound like it was a much more inappropriate incident Regardless, we should’ve been notified about the closure upon check in, so that we could’ve made other arrangements I would also like to add that I called day of, and was told there is a pool but closure was NOT disclosed Clerk informed us after we had already got dressed, went down to the pool, and then asked about pool hours as it was only 1830 He claimed the pool had been closed for several days3) I will call the hotel, however, we are from out of state and will most likely not be back

Being a hotel in Greensboro this one is one of the best! My friend came here out of town and stayed here this weekend and their room was clean, had a fresh smell, it was quiet at night, the air made the room feel sooooo good and the beds was so soft, clean, comfortable and I can go on and on I don’t even remember falling asleep because I knocked out talking because I was so relaxed! The people at the front desk was so friendly that we actually stood there and had a whole conversation which happens very little now and days! The breakfast had so many different options to choose from! Etc Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese that you can throw on a sandwich, pancakes one morning and waffles the next, fruit, cereal, oats, fruit, fruit juices and coffee! Also another good thing about this hotel is that you can bring your fur baby! I saw so many doggies I fell in love! Thank y’all for being a fantastic hotel and when my friend comes back in town this will be our first option to choose from!

The staff is very friendly, the beds are comfy, and the microwave/refrigerator setup in the room was very nice The issue we had was miscommunication The staff should know the policies of the hotel and not spout off on what they think it is

Our room went more than three days of not being cleaned because of pure miscommunication The fan in our bathroom did not work, and the small elevator is creepy Also, the dining room and kitchen needs a major overhaul

daniel deutsch

Decent if unexceptional Billed as a 4-star but really comes in at a 35

The staff really make the place Friendly and helpful, big shout-out to Kenneth, who are responsive Oddly, there was no toilet paper holder in the room’s bathroom Apparently there renovations going on that did not account for toilet paper holderswell, there you go There is a 24 hour fitness center and pool which is nice No movies offered in the rooms just cableagain, there you go Overall, not a bad stay but a forgettable experience

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Greensboro because we were doing college tours for our son and because of our familiarity and great experiences at Hilton properties so this was a no brainer When we arrived we were greeted promptly and courteously We received our keys and the complimentary famous DoubleTree cookies

That was the best part of our stay When we got to our room, we immediately noticed a foul odor, the bed wasn’t made properly and the carpet looked worn, dirty and old This is not what you’d expect from a mid tier Hilton property So we decided that we were going to go to another hotel because this wasn’t going to workI went to the front desk and told them we wanted to check out and gave the reasons why They promptly checked me, said sorry and refunded the charge of the room but it was less than what we paid but I figured it was due to the reservation being through a third partyAfter several days, I noticed that I hadn’t received my refund so I called the hotel directly, explained the situation to the front desk staff and they explained that I had to call the third party to get my refund I ask the associate what her first name was so when I spoke to Expedia, I could give them a name and that would help with my refund She flat out refused to answer, saying that DoubleTree associates don’t give out their first name over the phone Seriously, you can’t tell me your first name even though I was a guest at your hotel??? Then I asked if I could speak to a manager who would be more helpful and she told me that they don’t have managers that work on the weekends!!!At this point, I was done and there was nothing left to say to her because she obviously didn’t value me, my time or the situation I then called my credit card company to help get my refund which they were able to doI DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND this Hilton property because the rooms are not up to date, the beds are not comfortable, the rooms smells, the hotel is dirty and the front desk willfully and purposefully lied to meUpdate: The Assistant Manager Tracy said she is not the one who spoke with me so I have removed that from my review However, the fact remains that the female front desk associate didn’t want to provide her name and said that managers do not work the weekends which undoubtedly was false!

I really liked our room It was one of the newly renovated rooms and they were really thoughtful with the design, plenty of shelves and surfaces to put your things The only thing is the ac is really loud

I don’t usually notice but this one made some strange noises Oh and they didn’t provide wash cloths in the room, I had to ask for them Pool is not open yet so that was a little disappointing, but they are under renovation I never heard any construction noises during my stay on the third floor The staff was very welcoming Very convenient to gas, restaurants and stores Literally right off the interstate I would definitely stay again

ashley thomas

This is actually the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The room had a really bad odor and the bathroom was full black mold! That made me so sick that I had to cut my stay short and leave Also there was a roach found upon my initial walk through of the room I also spotted a roach crawling beneath the cart where the complimentary breakfast was placed

I tried to get a picture, but it crawled away before I could I brought all of this to the attention of the “General Manager” Sandra and she was completely nonchalant and inconsiderate about the entire issue! And even though I remained calm, she did not She began to raise her voice so unprofessionally! I did contact the health department and they are starting an investigation Please think twice before you stay here!!

ABBFamily Freelance

As stated in a prior review the General Manager at this location Sandra is very nonchalant about matters of concern to the guest She seems to think it is her job to “manage” the guest instead of her focus being on managing her Staff! She approaches guest with aggression and a very accusatory tone, definitely not what you expect from management in hospitality Since I was unable to have a reasonable conversation with her my issues were not able to be resolved at the hotel level and had to be escalated to IHG corporate

I’ve stayed at many, many IHG hotels in the past with no problems so on my next trip to Greensboro I will be choosing a different IHG hotel for our stay

My family booked this hotel because it was close to NCAT where we were moving my niece into the following day We gathered on and around the couch to eat dinner and BED BUGS started coming out the couch in room 205 (double bed) My sister and I immediately took our things into the hallway and went to the front desk Lady at the desk didn’t seem surprised or have any urgency to rectify the situation

It was 1am she offered to move us to the 4th floor I said I just need to be moved to a room that has never had this issue reported So she put us in 107 (a single handicap room) which lead me to believe they’ve been reported on the 4th floor as well! New room smelled of cigarettes and 2 of my family members had to sleep in the car because that room didn’t accommodate my family size We definitely cut our weekend stay here short to just that night as there was no other option but to stay The manager refunded all our money and apologized However, mentally this was too much The hotel was to capacity I hope none of the future NCAT students or their family’s took any of those with them to their destinations I’m beyond convinced there was an infestation in our first room Thank goodness we were only in there for an hour, never unpacked and had alcohol with us to spray our things down Unacceptable

The hotel was okay Nothing special but also not bad For spending the night on our travels it did just fine

We had trouble connecting to the internet and when I called the front desk I was told that others also had issues but when they called a certain toll free number they were able to have the issue resolved My question was: I have to call? Yes, I had to call If the young lady at the front desk had told us if we wanted to use the internet, make sure when you look for the connection that you put abccom in the browser and that will take you to the log in page So after quite a few minutes trying to get online, then calling the front desk and then the 877 number, it took just a second to type abccom to get onlineBreakfast was ok When we got there, the eggs were all gone and none were ever brought out But there was a good selection of yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, English muffins and bananas and apples

Extremely nice staff any issues or concerns are quickly addressed with absolute empathy I really love everything so far The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable it has an at home slash business feel My heat wasn’t working and they wanted to give me another room but I liked my room and was willing to wait until Monday for maintenance to come to fix it

I just requested to extra blankets I received those from the kindest housekeeping staff I haven’t encountered in a long time Then the front desk calls me to tell me they were sending maintenance to my room to fix the heat I was so impressed because I didn’t mind waiting at all but he came fixed the heat and I’m grateful Thank you for going above and beyond for me but I didn’t mind waiting at all

This is my first and last stay at this hotel I had nothing but issues with it and some of their staff They were doing construction on the parking lot, which inconvenienced my stay in so many ways

The pool is tiny and there isn’t a hot tub The beds are comfortable Everything else leaves a lot to be desired Would not recommend this hotel We needed maintenance on three separate occasions The air conditioning was set to 60, but I was sweating We needed to leave the room to have the unit replaced The stay was so terrible, we got a night comped by the general manager

Kaylee Aleshire

Everything was okay with this hotel except that fact that our room was right across from the equipment room, which was a very loud area in the morning It was also pretty clear that our bathroom had been cleaned to a very low standard as there was an open soap bar still in the shower and the wrapping for it was next to the shower curtain Overall an okay stay, great for the price we paid, just could use some attention to cleaning and noise levels

Kinda upset because I was put there for a week before work and the pool and hot tub were closed down due to renovations I’m not a complainer but the room was very humid as well and my balcony door had a broken lock on it and I was on the second floor Kinda scary

Other than that no other problems Bathroom was amazing and my bed was very comfy

Island Beauty

The room were decent, but there is no bistro There is no actual restaurant The food is being prepared with a microwave

Also, it is hard to get in contact with anyone at the front desk or at the bistro The pool and the hot tub were being renovated For our first time in the state, this hotel certainly gave us a bad impression If I could get my money back I will This place needs more renovation and is subpar for the exterior to the amenities This review was done on 06/23/2022

I never stayed! I made reservations online with no issue After receiving the email confirmation, I attempted to check-in online, but I kept getting an error message I called the front desk to inquire about the problem, and the individual told me the hotel was completely booked and that the manager hadn’t turned off online booking

Next, I asked if my card would be charged, and I was assured it would not because I couldn’t stay My complaint is that my card was charged, and trying to get my money back has wasted a lot of my time Hotels reach max capacity all the time, and managers and employees should know what to do when this happens if they truly value their guests

I enjoyed my Friday to Sunday stay here for a Sat graduation This location sits about 12 miles from the Piedmont AirportMy single room was clean and the bathroom-shower water became hot within 2 late night minutes

I crashed on the sofa bed, as I was staying with family, and the concierge was hospitable enough to provide me with a comforter A sheet and pillow were included in the roomBreakfast was a pepper, cheese omlette one night and a package egg, cheese and turkey or ham croissant the next two mornings Am assortment of juice, chocolate and blueberry muffins, and bagels were available both days along with coffee which was open from 6:30 am to 9:30 amI noticed a gym area with a relatively large space but there was only a stationary bench and an assortment of light weights on a rack

Wish I could leave 0 stars Summary, do not stay hereThe front desk sent us to a dirty room

Got back to desk and had to wait over 20 minutes for staff to return Other guests were waiting to Staff returned, did not apologize, and said no clean rooms and have to wait for room to be cleaned and would take a couple hours as no clean rooms available We asked for refund and told would have to come back next morning to speak to manager We said that was unacceptable and tried to contact manager Another guest came in to check in and front desk told him their room was ready I aksed how they could have clean room ready but we did not and why he gave them room when we were already there waiting At this point front desk person started becoming rude and confrontational escalating situation until our daughters began crying as we also raised our voices in response to his We when he started talking about a physical altercation due to tensions he escalated Seeking refund now The front desk attendent should be removed as soon as possible He took an easy situation to remedy and turned it into an embarrassing situation to himself, this hotel, and the Fairfield brand We will be contacting Marriott/Bonvoy who owns Fairfield as well as we have no confidence in a satisfactory resolution based on our experience at this locationAlso the other guest waiting I mentioned was asking for cleaning supplies as his tub was not cleaned and going to do it himself

Eliina Anderson

No staff and way too loud Extremely loud, disrespectful adults and children taking waters and drinks when staff was gone, only one staff member so people were waiting over an hour for check in with no one at the front desk or in the office The tv didn’t work at all, you can’t call the front desk or immediately goes to a dial tone, can’t call from your phone and get an answer, couldn’t go up to the desk and find anyone we couldn’t get into the pool with our cards had to be asked to be let in every time

No towels in the poolHonestly for a new hotel I can’t believe it’s this rough alreadyNot fair of Marriott to put only one staff member in the hotel for a Saturday night

I’m in the middle When we arrived in our room we had to request for someone to come fix the ac We waited an hour while it was being fixed

The handle on one of the dressers fell completely off when we opened it to put our things away There was some shotty electrical work on the bathroom ceiling I found several spots of mold in the bathroom Myself and my children are asthmatic I was told there was nothing they could do that evening and to let someone know in the morning I spoke with Vivian the next morning She said there was no room to move us, she would send someone to take care of the “organic growth” and would comp one night When I checked out the front desk told me that they had no record that I made this complaint I showed pictures of the mold, the lady at the front desk took my phone back and forth to show the manager the pictures I took and said they were too busy to come out for a moment because they were doing payroll This went on for 30 minutes At this point I was frustrated because it seemed like they were trying to make me prove something although I had already spoken with two representatives They finally agreed to comp one night After going through all of this I told them that I believe two nights would be a better option for compensation The manager offered me points in lieu of one of the two nights and I refused They finally honored my request for two nights Additionally, the pool was filthy The bottom was brown I was there for a family reunion I gave them a three because, although reluctant, they did compensate me for the issues encountered

When you walk in the door the chlorine smell from the pool is so strong, carpets were dirty, and staff unwelcoming When I arrived to my room it smelled musty and the smoke detector was missing off the wall I took a picture and went to speak to the guy (Chris) at the front desk

I showed him the picture of my room and told him my issues His response was “it will be fine as long as you’re not smoking nothing is going to happen “ I asked to be moved to another room, given a discount, free night stay or something He again smirked and said I can have someone look into it tomorrow Well I am moving my daughter into her dorm in the morning I just drove hours to get here and this is the accommodations of this Hilton establishment?! We always book (Hilton) properties and this by far has been the worst I will NOT be returning to this hotel

Some of the staff were not welcoming There was a Caucasian lady working the front desk on 3/13/22 morning around 6:40 AM As my Aunt and I walked to the front of the lobby, she just stared at us with a nasty facial expression and she watched our every move

As my aunt and I purchased something to drink, I asked her if we could get some cereal and a banana She very rudely stated that only if you are member Her tone of voice was very disrespectful and I didn’t like the way she made us feel! She treated us like we didn’t belong there and she made us feel like we were trespassing When we made it back to our rooms, I couldn’t go back to sleep because I kept thinking about how we were treated I decided to write this review to express my thoughts Based off of this, I will never stay at this location EVER again I regret purchasing a room here I didn’t travel over 200 miles for my family and I to get treated like we don’t belong To any future guest that stays at this location, please be aware of the profiling that comes along with your stay

Our girls travel soccer team stayed here this past weekend I cannot express how impressed we all were with this hotel The food was hot, tasty and just what we all needed

Plenty of options to choose from both at breakfast and the 5:30 kickback The girls really enjoyed the pool and hot tub after the game The parents enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the lounge area where we could all come together and talk The service from the employees at this hotel was beyond amazing! Always a smile and prompt attention to our every need This was our first time staying at a Drury but it will not be our last

Room was clean and accommodated our large family It was a nice surprise they included dinner and breakfast I was impressed for a hotel and the kids loved it

The pool area is nice though the pool needed some attention We were visiting during a state wrestling tournament so there were tons of kids in and out of the pool Hard to keep up with that level of trafficThe staff were very friendly and helpful Great location We will be back

If you are in a city with a Drury Inn, book it! For the quality and the perks it is a definite bargain The Greensboro hotel is super clean, very nice and in a great, convenient location They offer free dinner and breakfast

Dinner also comes with two free drinks per person If you have kids they will love the free popcorn and soda offered in the afternoon The staff here is incredible! Miracle, who works in the food area is the sweetest! She will make sure you have everything that you need The manager Michael, checks on people several times during their meals Check in was quick, easy and friendly We look forward to staying here again in the future

Perfect for a visit with our daughter – only 5 minutes from her apartment Room was clean, the plugs for electronics worked, (not always the case at a lot of hotels, which I don’t understand) and we were able to park fairly close to the door Breakfast was adequate

Nice that coffee was available during the day Were there for 3 nights and no complaints! 😀

Great location! Customer service was super! A bed, TV and a desk do not make up a suite I thought every room was a suite, but apparently not Bathroom was pretty decent sized and bed very comfy! It was less than a 15 minute drive to NC A&T, Bennett College and NC at Greensboro

Would stay again if in the area

monty ridenhour

For a limited service hotel, it’s quite good The room was missing one chair which wasn’t the end of the world Room, in fact the whole facility, was clean

Staff was courteous and competent For me, the location is a little awkward in relation to the business I do in Greensboro, but for folks traveling I-40 who need to overnight in Greensboro, it’s good
