My husband and I recently got married at the Wolf Cove Inn in June! I’m not kidding when I say that our wedding day was perfect and much of that was because of Sue and her amazing staff! We had a small outdoor ceremony with 10 guests and we stayed for the weekend All of our family was in one place and they were able to relax and have their own Maine adventure Andy and I met in Maine six years before and it was beautiful to share our love of Maine with all of them

The Wolf Cove Inn was the perfect wedding venue and just a great place to relax with each other Being on the lake was breathtaking and be sure to go out with one of their kayaks or canoes! We will definitely have to stay again for one of our anniversaries!

Amazing winter getaway for me, my husband, and our small dog We stayed in the Eagle’s Nest Cabin, and could not have had a more restful and beautiful experience at Wolf Cove Inn The frozen Tripp Lake was beautiful, and the sunrise over the lake was a beautiful sight

The service at the Inn was amazing – delicious breakfasts and pizza dinner, and the room was cozy and sparkling clean! We wanted a quiet vacation to celebrate my husband’s birthday with some hiking and just being close to nature, and our stay at Wolf Cove Inn fit that perfectly We can’t wait to return again Thank you Sue and Roy!

Nadine Taylor-Tolbert

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay The Inn is beautiful and the setting is so peaceful and relaxing Our room was very comfortable and clean

The staff was friendly and helpful Our breakfasts were delicious, as was the pizza dinner We enjoyed relaxing on the lawn and swimming in the lake We especially appreciate the fact that the Wolf Cove Inn welcomed our well behaved Lab He loved his opportunities to swim in Tripp Lake

It’s a decent place to stay, certainly better than other low priced hotels I’ve been to But at the same time, you’re not paying for luxury, so don’t expect it The rooms have all the basic stuff you’d need (bathroom with shower, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc), and they seem to do a pretty good job getting the rooms cleaned between guests

I stayed here after having a house fire the first room was not Big enough at all for 5 of us so eventually we were moved upstairs to a bigger room the room was nice everything seemed ok until we had some creepy activity going on It got to the point my body would not let me sleep because I could feel what ever was there I’m not sure if the renovations had kicked up some paranormal activity or if it was just always like that but it was not fun

This hotel is in the process of changing from a Fireside Inn to a Quality Inn They have been updating the interior as well as the exterior of the building Our room was clean well maintained and appeared to have been renovated within the last year

We left before the breakfast was open but caught a glimpse of the breakfast room on our way out The breakfast room had been nicely remodeled and they appeared to have an ample variety of breakfast choices The staff was friendly and helpful and overall the facility exceeded our expectations

We came here for a hockey tourney for 3 days/3 nights We had an excellent experience The hotel was so accommodating and tolerant for so many kids running around

We weren’t the only team staying there The staff was so friendly The rooms were immaculate The breakfast was delicious Lots of choices and super fresh food I would happily stay here again The only negative was no nightlight which is an easy fix with a nightlight from the dollar store Also, no fan in the bathroom which is kind of weird bc it’s loud and I hate smelly anything It didn’t bother anyone else, but me 😂

Thank goodness Hampton Inn was able to provide us with a room on such short notice! We needed to get out of a surrounding hotel ASAP due to terrible service and cleanliness and Hampton came to the rescue! I left the suitcase carrier outside my door as we unpacked our bags and when I went to return it, it was no longer in the hall I asked the housekeeping staff on the floor if they happened to take it, and their response was “oh don’t worry! One of us must have grabbed it, that’s what we are here for!” with a smile and such happiness in their voice This was the absolute opposite from which we came from and I couldn’t have been more appreciative! We loved our stay and will book this hotel for any and all upcoming trips to Maine! Thanks Hampton!

Nice hotel Lovely lobby with friendly staff at the desk and the kitchen This is our 2nd time here

We stayed two nights this time The maids apparently don’t know how to smile, nod or say helloThe room was nice enough and the maids did a really nice job cleaning Room is a bit small but still workable Small fridge and microwave Table/desk Iron & board Coffee in room Beds are comfortable and no bugs Yes I checked The water pressure in the shower was fantasticElevators had a funky smell the entire time and after 2 days when we went to check out, we noticed instantly they had been vacuumed Before they were pretty messyThe breakfast is hot with many choices And different choices both mornings Nice seating area as well Ladies working the kitchen were very friendly But could use an assistant maybe if even to wipe tables and sweep floors during serviceParking lot is a lil sketchy Does not feel safe if you can’t park by the building and there isn’t many spotsNice restaurants within walking distance but again, sketchy areaPool was a saltwater pool Dirty towels on the floor and on chairs when we went in No one was there Globs of hair floating around the pool and stuck to the rim The bottom needed vacuumed are well Looked as tho someone went outside barefoot then came right back into the pool bringing pebbles with thenWould we stay there again, well, this was our 2nd time at this location so yes We can over look the not so great stuff for the pluses

The rooms were OK the size was great mattress pad requested was not in room, Also did not want room cleaned but did want fresh towels and face clothes was only given towels Poor signage into the lot from the rotary Post covid is tough on us all, those areas of attention to detail were missing

Not the end of the world we had a good stay and a good time Thank you to the staff that showed up! Keep up the hard work

I’m frantically looking for hotels to stay at due to my apartment flooding so my roommates an I were calling around, my roommate happened to call this hotel after me so when I called back later in the afternoon I was met with attitude being told “we’ve already told you this 3 times sir” on my second call to them All I needed was an invoice of some sort showing the entire cost of our stay for the insurance company and instead I was met with instant attitude I’m sure it’s a great place to stay most of the time but I definitely didint appreciate the attitude I received

Stacy Grosse

This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in by far! I booked through Priceline and got an amazing deal for a king suite There was a little mixup when we checked in (seriously no big deal at all!) and the desk clerk offered us free waters for the duration of our stay, which was just so kind! The pool area was clean, and the towels were heated Our room was so clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! They had a huge selection of food items, including omelets, empanatas and mini quiches, as well as fresh fruits, cereals, iced and hot coffees, and other chilled breakfast foods

If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

Beautiful room Very clean Extra towels already in the bedroom

We asked for extra pillows and delivered them to the room right away I was very happy with the way the room, lobby and dining area was designed A full complimentary breakfast and we ordered our large breakfast that would have been at least $30 We were able to choose what floor and the view We chose the top floor with the river/rock view which was very pretty The only downfall was our neighbors next door had dogs and were left alone and the barking was extremely loud and didn’t stop till after 10pm so we had to wait to get to sleep When our pillows was being delivered, the dogs could clearly be heard It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the neighbors had dogs Or the hotel should have made sure there would have been a room empty before our room and not hear the barking

Wonderful! Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and happy The wait staff in the restaurant really stood out for their helpfulness The food was excellent as wellWe treated ourselves to a jacuzzi suite and were glad we did

We had a view of the river, and although the falls weren’t running because of a drought, it was still very prettyHighly recommend!!!

Lisa Sprague

If I could give this hotel 0 stars

I totally would We traveled here from NY with a toddler and were really looking forward to a comfortable 2-night stay, however it was anything but what we had hoped We called 2 hours in advance and asked if it was possible to check-in early (2:20 rather than 3:00) because we made good time and were hoping to give our son a chance to nap after driving for 7 hours, but we were made to feel as though we were an inconvenience and told that they only had 2 housekeepers on staff The fact that they reluctantly allowed us to check in 40 minutes early was about the only good thing I have to say about this experience Upon arrival we had a very uneasy feeling due to situations occurring outside in the parking lot We gave it the benefit of a doubt and unloaded our things into a room that was sub par The pictures online make this location seem very pleasant and clean but do not project a true image of what you walk into The bathroom was dingy, poor lighting, outdated venting, a faulty toilet, and overall just plain dirty We left for dinner and came back to relax As we got our 2 year old ready for bed, we pulled the sheets and found blood stains on the pillow Absolutely unacceptable if you ask me! When speaking to the front desk, I explained that this is no place I want my child to stay and we are looking for hotels elsewhere We were offered a new room but different sized beds that would not accommodate for our son, which we respectfully declined I requested a new pillow and set of sheets, to which they would “check and see if they have any” Luckily they did, however when changing the sheets, let’s just say the bed wasn’t in the best condition We were told due to checking in early and already occupying the room for 5 hours, that we would have to pay full cost for the night but could leave in the morning and be refunded the second night since we wouldn’t be staying After spending over half an hour trying to secure a new night’s stay elsewhere we weren’t able to find a location, so we were forced to stay until morning The following morning, the toilet wouldn’t stop running and the tank overflowed, flooding the bathroom The only way to get it to stop was to have my husband turn the water valve off on the pipes I was appalled and could not believe how poor of an experience my family had This was our first true vacation getaway since COVID and it was an absolute let down We will never stay at another Ramada again and I wouldn’t recommend this specific location to anyone traveling to Lewiston, Maine

Kat

The room is nice, neat, clean well made beds, has what you need, but still could use some TLC and minor updating The age shows in a lot of areas The pool was VERY cloudy & dirty, hot tub was dirty and low on water to where you could see the ring around it

All & all it’s no 5⭐ hotel but as I said before it’s got what you need and is in a GREAT location right off the exit

Bill Snowdon

Some would argue “You get what you pay for”, but you get far from that The front desk employees really let you know how much they hate their job and have accepted that quality service it not expected Our “Non Smoking” room was unbearably full of stale cigarette smell and the solution was to give us a can of air freshener and “see if that helps”

Aside from that our room was physically dirty, there was black mold growing up the water damaged wall panels, the coffee pot was full of mold, and the towel rack was broken and hanging off the wall, and the tv wasn’t fully functional Would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless possibly the only other option is sleeping in your car

Booked a room last min for a same-day booking They allowed me to check-in early, The major sell was having my dog Zeke with me and finding an affordable place on short notice Luckily, I was happily surprised that the hotel and amenities were far beyond my expectations

I stayed for one night I enjoyed the trails and Museum on the Hotel grounds All in all, everything I had hoped to receive from my stay I did and more, I would 100% go back and stay again

Chris Smith

So I am a Marriott 1000+ nights traveller but just couldn’t justify paying $200+/night this week while on the road so I looked around and found this resort and booked it with a bit of skepticism but price was sensible and it looked like it would be clean Probably my favorite travel night this year! What a great and relaxing place to spend the evening Sat out on the front porch in a deck chair and enjoyed the view while I got a bit of work done with no wifi issues anywhere on the grounds

Went to bed that evening and looked around the old fashioned but well appointed room and it just reminded me of being a kid sleeping at my Grandma’s house Took a fantastic walk the next morning on the trails and visited the original spring Really nice break from what my normal work travel week looks like I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area! Great place and the sign as you drive in that says “Stress Free Zone” is spot on!!

Vanessa Laro-Conway

Vet nice, comfortable, peaceful place with a beautiful view outside the hotelThe night manager drove down to show us the way to the hotel because we could not find itI would definitely stay here again if I am ever in that part of Maine again
