Great stay at a stylish hotel From the moment we arrived the valet, porters and reception staff were welcoming and helpful, they really make this large hotel feel like a home in the city Rooms were stylishly decorated and very clean

We appreciated the pleasant view The Beverly Hilton is ideally located for sightseeing in both the local area and the wider LA area and acted as a great base for us to spend a week doing this Apart from the rather inefficient and expensive room service (an hour to deliver three coffee’s!) we have absolutely nothing but praise for the hotel, it’s staff and our stay

Christa Settle

We had the most wonderful stay at the Beverly Hilton! Every single member of the staff treated us like royalty and were so kind and accommodating This is the best service I have ever received in my entire life, and I fully believe that anytime I find myself in Los Angeles, the Beverly Hilton will be my home away from home Our room, an executive suite, was so breathtaking

The balcony was a great place to hang out on day and night, and it was also amazing to open all of the sliding glass window doors and have panoramic views of LA while feeling the beautiful weather come through I also loved the pool and everyone there was so nice and accommodating as well It was truly such a treat to stay at the Beverly Hilton for 5 nights We traveled as a way to celebrate our 5 year dating anniversary and my birthday We are already dreaming of and beginning to plan our next stay Thank you all for everything!!

Arushi Bhardwaj

Great location, wonderful staff, and a beautiful lounge area I really enjoyed my stay here It’s probably one of the best Hilton locations! The only recommendation would be to heat up the pool a little bit more as we were freezing (in April)! There was also no help available in finding the pool showers

This hotel is located in Beverly Hills and so what NOT a big deal The rooms are very small

The bathroom is outdated The shower glass is dangerous it is not completely enclosed and swing in both directions no handle to hold onto to secure yourself when washing your feet and the tub was permanently stained The desk was nicked and worn The heat DID NOT work Instead of giving me a new room a small desk portable heater was delivered to the room That is not Beverly Hills service I stayed in a Beverly Hills hotel before and decided to check out another hotel I will NEVER return to The Sixty Hotel EVER I absolutely loved the valet staff they get 5 stars Not worth taking pictures

Cat FnW

Be careful of this hotelThey overcharged you and lied to you saying its additonal of whatsoever cost I made a booking on hotel official website showing all cost included(including occupancy tax and city occupancy tax)

After I checked out(they didn’t print invoice or email me invoice), I found the overcharge on my credit card and called the hotel They just made up stories about city tax but refused to refund I went back to the hotel website(luckily I registered and kept a record of the booking details) I found they were lying about this city tax and the hotel just randomly added additional fee to my hotel stayBesides, the hotel facility is quite old and room is tinyI would not recommend it to anyone unless you don’t care about being overcharged for staying in poor old hotel

Martin Elliott

My written review did not originally post so adding here:Hotel location is great, and price wise in comparison to some other hotels in the vicinity it is reasonably good value for moneyHowever, having stayed at a couple of the other hotels in the area (Beverly Wilshire & Maybourne) there is no comparison in service – the Sixty does lack in certain areas but is half the priceRooms were cleaned daily, but each time there would be something forgotten inside the room (cleaning product or cloths) or other items missed such as not cleaning the cups, not disposing of trash or not replacing water, coffee etc

The roof deck bar was supposedly a “must see”, I agree it is stunning for the pool, views, and ambiance – but the food was average at best, and the service was atrocious On two occasions after ordering drinks we waited 15-20 mins when there were not that many people on the roof area It became apparent that there was a “private event” ongoing on the other side of the roof area on this day which may have explained the slow service but there was a bar manager who was outright rude and spoke to me in a very abrasive tone as I attempted to follow up on my drink order that i’d waited 15-20 mins already for – I was told to “get back behind the barrier as we have a private event ongoing!” and “I need you to stand that side of the barrier” For context, the barrier was a small rope attached to two posts that was difficult to notice and I had crossed it by about 12 inches to ask where my drink wasFollowing this, I immediately asked to settle the bill, paid in cash, and left immediately It is also worth pointing out that these charges were then ALSO applied to the room bill upon check-out which was rectified by the front desk staff after I pointed this out and explained the above eventsWe stayed for 12 nights at a cost in excess of $7,000 so we really did expect a better all around experience from this hotel aside from just its convenient locationAll in all, if you want a “reasonable value for money”, convenient hotel with decent rooms (recommend the Wilshire Suites) then this place is ok if you expect service levels anywhere approaching 5* hotels then this is not the place A couple of the staff were friendly and accommodating but generally speaking the whole experience was below par with a couple of incidents to really put a downer on things

Being a Marriott member I was looking for a place in LA for a few nights and came across Beverly Hills Marriott Reviews were good, place looked nice so I booked my stay The second I arrived the valet helped me out of my car and into the lobby

The front desk was quick and efficient and got me my room key quickly Went up to a very nice and modern room and everything was cleanI loved my stay here but there was just 1 thing holding me back from giving it 5 starsThe bedExtremely uncomfortable as I prefer firmer mattresses and my back was sore after both nights Also didn’t sleep well because of it too Not sure if they were older mattresses but I was not a fan Loved everything else about this place though and the staff was top notch

Stephen Shao Chi-Ching

In general, room, hotel services, location are pretty goodThe hotel itself is old and I can see some cracks here and there in toilet, but still functional By the way, I think they should renovate their elevator! They provide complementary morning coffee in the lobby (Starbucks) which is nice

However, for a hotel with nearly 300 USD per night, I expected more

Cindy Hynes

Kai and Charlie in Valet were amazing, we stayed the night with a 10-foot trailer in tow along with our pickup truck They were amazingly helpful in getting the car and trailer situated even in a city like Beverly Hills which as you may or may not know is impossible to park a trailer The staff was great, we travel for business often and I would stay there again and again

The rooms were small but clean, staff was friendlyThe only downside they charged my card twice on accident and I am working to get that situated 😉

This is an excellent hotel Boutique, peaceful, and generally friendly staff However, when I asked for a glass of water at the bar, the bartender said, “we only serve water for those who order from us (I had and he hadn’t known)” though he did say that he would make an exception

I pointed out that I had ordered a glass of wine (I was sitting by the pool) and he did give me a glass of water Why would a hotel in Beverly Hills – among the wealthiest areas of the city in the wealthiest nation in the world – deny a guest a glass of water (even if he had not ordered a drink from the bar)? Did race play a role? I’ll never know But these are the small things that management can correct to make this a five star hotel

Vella P

The hotel itself is really nice looking The waterfalls, koi ponds and greenery throughout the hotel is beautiful The pool area looks nice as well

The fitness area is small but nice and clean My only complaints are the very loud people that was in the room next to us and the fact that the bathroom door didn’t close at all It was more than halfway open and wouldn’t budge past that due to the bulging area in the floor underneath the door I let the front desk know upon checking out, but I’m sure that the previous guests in room 611 had to say something or at least housekeeping should have mentioned it

Raymond ZadigVoltaire

From the moment I drove up to ask the doorman where I could park after a 4 hour drive to get here we had attitude problems from the whole staff He didn’t acknowledge I was even there just looked straight forward and no dialogue until I initiated it After that I had to walk all my families heavy bags across the street where I saw him previously taking others bags and yet he walked away into the hotel as we approached

There was no greeting at the front desk The “kid” had an attitude from the start and it seemed as if I was talking to a wall of a personality My company had previously paid for my room for three days and in there system they said I had no room, that is until I showed them my digital receipt Then they said “even though we had a card on file that paid for the room” we had to pay yet again in person My company spoke to them over the phone and they would not take a card Extremely disappointed with this hotel as it looked beautiful I work for one of the top jewelry companies in the world and I will NOT recommend anyone to ever stay here

One of my go-to hotels in LA; I love it mainly for the location in the city’s heart It’s a very walkable neighborhood with a variety of restaurants and bars I love the large windows in the rooms

The rooftop lounge works excellent for me The property and rooms are attractive and relaxing I’m in LA for business, and the AC perfectly fits my needsThe staff here is always amicable Occasionally I experience minor issues with the room, but it’s never been too severe, and the team has always been very responsiveI haven’t tried the hotel restaurant, but I always stop in the rooftop bar for a nightcap The liquor selection is limited; they never have Jameson Irish Whiskey and have a minimal beer selection They have a limited food menu as well

Danny Gaytan

Pleasant stay Simple room but came with every necessity needed USB ports on most outlets, spacious refrigerator and alright bathroom

Room was clean, sheets were fresh and crisp Wish parking wasn’t only Valet though ($40 valet) Also breakfast here ain’t free Also a bummer For the rate I paid (roughly $300) I could have stayed at a better hotel For the price it doesn’t fully cut it Also Covid restrictions along with elevators requiring a key card do not let deliveries of any kind upstairs Had to walk downstairs late at night to pick up my dinner Overall a 3 star, it was a good hotel for the price and what I received

Keith K

Relatively new hotel in the museum district on Wilshire Blvd Our one room suite had lots of space and high ceilings Modern, minimalist design

They charge $44/day for parking thoI was going to give it 45 stars, but we could not get our room cleaned I called the front desk twice, but no luck

This hotel needs 10 stars!!!! The service is impeccable and outstanding!!!! The staff is so amazing and energetic they do everything they can to make your stay the best experience! They picked up pizza for the kids, We had a fruit bowl the first night and and amazing tray of chocolate and cookies decorated with the logo of the soccer team we came to see in the Rose bowl! The rooms are pretty and very very clean! You have to eat at the patio it’s so beautiful and the food is incredible!!! And of course the location is top of the top!!!! Now the only thing we didn’t really enjoyed was the food on the pool area, not really the best … everything else was just perfect!

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE TERRACE,The restaurant at this hotel, not the hotel itselfUPDATE: We actually returned to this place with a friend Who is sitting at the next table? Timo Werner (If you don’t know, ask a soccer enthusiast)

Now back to our regularly scheduled reviewThe wife and I were back in Beverly Hills for breakfast again after taking care of some more business This time we went to the Terrace at the Maybourne Hotel It is along that green strip between North Beverly Drive and North Canon Drive It is a nice walk from where we were over on Rodeo DriveWe had reservations but we finished our business early and arrived to the restaurant early There was not much foot traffic in the restaurant because it was early We could choose between indoor and outdoor seating and, since this is Los Angeles and it never rains here, we sat outsideWe asked for water and coffee (we learned from last time) and they arrived promptly We looked over the menus and imagine my surprise when they did not have French Toast After overcoming my initial shock, I ordered their buttermilk pancakes The wife went with her standard two eggs and added a side of bacon The rest of the menu was typical breakfast fareThe food arrived presently and we began to eat The wife likes her bacon crisp, almost to the point of being burnt She asked for it to be crisp and she was very happy with the result The three slices of bacon were crisp The eggs were on toast and she was very happy with those also My pancakes, although there were only four of them, made quite a stack I was unable to eat them all, something I have rarely done in my life They were good and they absorbed all of my stomach acid filling me before I ate more than halfThe coffee was so good that we asked what kind it was The waitress said it was La Colombe It was dark but did not have the biting aftertaste that you usually get in Starbucks We will be buying some of that and trying it at homeOverall we were happy with our breakfast at the Terrace It was expensive but this is Beverly Hills, just around the corner from Wolfgang Puck’s place, so somebody has to pay the rent The check had an item on it stating something about 20% added The waiter said it was essentially the tip We were going to leave 20% anyway so it was fineUPDATE: The second time, there was no 20% on the check but there was a notice on the menu saying something about about adding 20% When you are about the order, it that is still in the fine print at the bottom of the menu, you may wish to askAlthough we would like to go back, that will probably have to wait until we win the lottery But, if you have already won the lottery we can recommend this place wholeheartedly

Tyler Nestved

It’s a really nice experience with excellent staff We really had a great time, the staff made it wonderful and are the reason it’s not a 3 star review The music was shared with a nearby dining place and they weren’t able to change it

The music was fine, it just wasn’t whiskey bar and cigar lounge fitting Also the restrooms were far away

Best hotel in LA! The staff is phenomenal Stay here once and you’ll never stay anywhere else! The hotel is gorgeous and in a really cute neighborhood right off the Sunset Strip But the staff…

I can’t say enough about these guys! They were the one bright spot on my doomed trip, complete with lost luggage Seriously, these people are the best! If you don’t like it here, something’s seriously wrong with you

Coco O

The stayed in a double queen room and it was spacious We enjoyed the room a lot and it had its own living room/ gas fireplace Complimentary coffee in the morning is a plus! The pool was small, but nice view

Easy drive to K-Town and Melrose The yogurt parfait was my daughter’s favorite Parking was expensive, but the valet were very nice We didn’t mind paying for it

Brian Kane

Great hotel in a great location Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area Easy walk to Sunset and to many restaurants, bars, etc in the west Hollywood area

Great rooftop pool and lounge area (although the pool was being worked on when we were there) All of the staff we talked to are amazing, from the front desk to the valets We had one dinner and one breakfast in the restaurant and were very happy with the meal and service Next time we’re in the area we will stay here again

We had an amazing stay here! The vibe is very casual but also upscale, with impeccable service The staff is really helpful, room service was fast and delicious, and housekeeping requests were fulfilled quickly by the friendly staff We stayed in a beautiful 1 bedroom suite (which was spotless) overlooking the pool and the courtyard

Awesome decor with a retro feel The beds and pillows are so comfortable, the bathroom is spacious with modern fixtures, and the toiletry products are great! The restaurant has these super cool cabanas tucked away around the pool – great for a group or semi-private dining This is what a boutique hotel should be 5 stars all the way around – facilities, service, cleanliness, quality and condition

Georgia Little

Very nice hotel I like how the pool is visible as soon as you step into the lobby Our room was in a separate building through an alleyway from the main hotel

It is a lovely room, super comfortable bed and soothing colors I took a nice long bath in the tub (so happy because most hotels today only have showers) and we enjoyed the large patioI would definitely come back!

Russell Dailey

I’ve been a regular traveler for about a decade and have over 1,000 nights at Marriott properties This hotel was the worst experiences I’ve had in those 1,000 nightsI don’t place much blame on the hotel staff, because I believe the issue is that the hotel is well past its prime and in serious need of renovation

The room we were originally given smelled of mildew and strong cleaning supplies and featured stained green carpet and a bathroom that looked like it had seen much better daysThis felt more like a discount motel you pay for by the hour than a 4 star Marriott property We immediately left and went to another hotel and I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to do thatAgain, this is not a comment on the hotel staff, but rather on the quality of the property itself The manager on duty did offer us another room, but after what we experienced with the first room we felt more comfortable leaving

She to the high ratings of this place we booked a room We were in Los Angeles for medical care at Cedars Sinai The location of the hotelIs very adequate

There is a restaurant right next door it’s not very good but it gets the breakfast job done The rooms were spacious and clean and modern The air conditioner was not working in the room as the day we arrived was very hot above 90 degrees but the front staff brought us a box fan Beautiful area and beautiful landscaping the front staff is always super nice

Darcie S

Cockroach in our room Overall pretty tired and not cared for but cheap for LA and cost reflects that “Sprung” for Romantic Suite which was nothing but – very weird room, neon lights on windows all night and the room vibrated plus the round bed didn’t have proper sheets so mattress was half out and pretty dirty

Do not recommend On a positive note – it was a Great location, nice enough staff, free parking was a plus and the courtyard pool area was chill Wouldn’t stay again on account of cleanliness (again, cockroach)

Melvin Fernandes

I get very very annoyed when I do not get what I had booked! Supposed to get a deluxe room but instead was compromised for a base room with double bed and window ac which doesn’t work properly On asking for my compromised compensation, $15 is what I got My first ever visit to LA and my first hotel in LAElevator smells badRooms were clean but I do not know why I sneezed so muchYou’ll love the swimming pool though

I wouldn’t be excited to come here againI will choose this hotel only when I do not have any convenient offers or deals elsewhere

I just called the hotel on a business call, hoping to get transferred to one of the managersOf course in order to do this, I had to speak to the front desk I’ve been making a lot of calls to hotels today for work

Not all the front desk agents or managers have been greatHowever, the gentleman at this front desk was incredibly professional, courteous, and helpfulWhen speaking with the AGM, she was genuine and warm Next time I’m in town, I’ll have to book a room! The staff here seems awesome!

Emily Cobb

Really loud, it’s right on a busy road so that noise is expected But the walls are paper thin you can hear footsteps in the room above, walking in the hallways, doors shutting Not a great night sleep

Beds are very soft, which could be hard for some They are also very squeaky The rooms are large and the bathrooms are smallThe front desk however was very friendly and accommodating, staff gets 5 stars Hotel needs a lot of work

Brian Sinclair

There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but it ain’t great either It’s sort of isolated There are no restaurants in the area or place to have a drink, unless you go to the place inside (which closes early)

There is a supermarket across the street that has chips and liquor) The rooms are cramped, but we’re clean The people at the front desk were helpful and although the food options are limited, the people that were there are friendly They serve Starbucks coffee, lattes and some of the basic food options

This was my second stay at this hotel This Residence Inn has extremely accommodating staff and is in a great location This is a quiet hotel with wonderful kitchenettes, everything was spotlessly clean

It is super convenient to have both cold and hot breakfast selections each day (I only wish the hot food selection was more diverse) If you need peace and quiet, this is the hotel for you

M and E Race

The moment you walk in to the lobby it smelled like mildew and funky gym bags! The parking is a nightmare, 42 dollars for parking!!! Unaccommodating for disabled people There is only one access point on the roof to the hotel in the self parking garage The room wasn’t any better

It smelled like funk and other smells I can’t quite describe The room looked and felt dirty even after I wiped it down with Clorox wipes Lipstick on a pig, and run down, room was also constantly dark no matter the time of day Next time I will listen to the reviews, we won’t be returning to this run down hotel Look elsewhere

Joe Hall

This hotel is tough Internet connect is too slow for remote working or streaming It worked fine when we checked in and then dropped off the speed to completely useless the second day and on through for the remainder of our stay

Housekeeping was so noisy out in the hallway on the 4th Floor and that kicked off around 8:00 am – banging and letting the door across from our room bang and bang over and over Staff morale appears terrible at this hotel Almost no one looks at you or even makes an attempt at friendliness Breakfast staff were the worst Guests have to ask them to refill empty containers during the morning meal They mostly stand and talk to one another (two ladies) rather than attending to the food or cleaning the tables The hotel was not like this in the past – very disappointed Shaking my head!

I got the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel over the past weekend The entire staff we encountered was friendly and engaging Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and special

The hotel and guestroom was clean and well decorated We enjoyed the history and photographs throughout The location of the hotel was perfect and the views were breathtaking We enjoyed our private balcony all throughout the day I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon

The decor and the feeling of the hotel are amazing The decor is classic, old school Hollywood meets modern design The room I stayed at did not have any carpeting which was a plus for me a beautiful hardwood floors

The staff was professional at all time Was there for business the restaurant and the other lounging areas were great for my meetings Pool and surrounding areas were very well ,maintained, high standard at all times The parking is valet, so if you’re bringing the car be mindful of that Very easy to get to I will be staying here for my next business trip I also saw plenty of family is enjoying the pool and the surrounding areas so it could be also good for hey family vacation, that wants personal service at a boutique luxury field to your lodgings I highly recommend it

They are so friendly and very attentive They took amazing care of us! The pool and lounge area felt like an oasis right in our hotel Mr C will be my go to every time I’m in LA!

So disappointed in our stay at the Mondrian this time Although the staff were lovely the hotel has lost its cool LA vibe We didn’t realize the pool area has now become an over 21 area after 1 pm Friday , Saturday and Sunday turning the whole outside area into a sleazy pick up joint for ages 21 to 30 which is great if that is want you’re looking for

But we had our 18 year old daughter with us and it would have been good to know this Also the lovely restaurant and hang out area was completely closed so really felt ripped off paying for these amenities we could not use We will definitely not be going back

Front desk staff are not polite, in fact very rude and dismissive upon check in and check out Cocktails at the pool were disgusting, gave a few different cocktails a go but all of them were terrible Don’t waste your time or money there when there are plenty of good bars around

Housekeeping did not replenish coffee, coffee cups or creamer, shampoo or body wash Nor did they take the trash out I checked in to a room that hadn’t been vacuumed, collected dust and hair on the bottoms of our feet and the bed sheets had a short curly hair in them (gross) Hallways and doors are in need of a renovation The best part: The room itself was nice and the bed was very comfortable All in all a very disappointing experience for the price and apparent reputationDisappointing and underwhelming sums it up

This Hotel’s pool area is fully open to the public We were full paying guests but had nowhere to sit or lounge around Instead we noticed Ubers dropping off individuals and they just walked into the pool area, no key or ID required

The view is not bad but they really really need to clean the pool, it was pretty dirty so that’s a bummer I agree with other previous guests that this is a party hotel It was loud DAY AND NIGHT Difficult to sleep and relax in the room with the obnoxious noise We also noticed two cockroaches in the tub but we took care of that ourselves so no big deal there I’ve stayed at 6 others in the area and this is by far my least favorite This hotel is not intended for people who want to relax and enjoy a nice clean pool No peace and quiet at this hotel Good luck!

Nothing fancy but the basics are covered well: good service, friendly staff, clean and safe Fridge in the room, microwave and water dispenser in a shared area Car rental and dining options close by

Self park on the street rather than use their parking option if you know you’re using your car during the day I had groceries delivered from Target and they handled that well

what can i say the hotel is well located the rooms are clean

but I want to warn you that in this hotel I withdraw amounts from the card without agreement !!! keep in mind that you may be left without money for a while until you get it back within 5 business days! so I was charged 1000$ for a two night extension Now I have to wait 5 days for my money back I will say that I had completely different plans, but even for a non-corrector transaction, my plans burned out and my stay in LA leaves an unpleasant mark I asked twice how much money you would withdraw now, they gave me a printout where the amount for 2 nights was 46703 and in fact they took $ 1001 !!! this is terrible Unfortunately, I didn’t feel any better because of the apologies, since I’ve been at zero for 5 days

The hotel was dirty, trash in the hallways when we got there was still there when we left 5 days later Our room had trash in it when we checked in We never saw any housekeeping at all

Had to go to the front desk for coffee, towels, etc Half the time the front desk was unmanned Absolutely no security The front doors were always unlocked and no one at the front desk The bathtub was extremely worn Hot water ran out during my shower Our sink faucet ran constantly The only good thing is the location

This was my second time staying at Sirtaj in the past two years and certainly the worst experience First off, we walked into a room in which the air conditioner temperature was set to 60F The room was extremely cold

I called the desk and asked how I can turn the heater on, they told me the room does not have any heater They did not offer anything to make us more comfortable in our roomWe were there for total 3 days/2 nights and received no room service They indicated to us that room service happens only once every 3 days which is nonsense for a 4-star hotelOn our last day, I received a call at 11:04 from the front desk wondering why we had not checked out in a disrespectful tone We had just finished packing and just about to leave our room If I were 30 min late, receiving a call would be justified But receiving a call after 4 min!!!! This is poor manner and poor customer service I will never ever go back to this hotel and to those who are reading my review, please reconsider if you’d want to book a room with them Their rooms are extremely small as well

Very unpleasant experience No where near a 4 star hotel Best western or holiday inn are far better

I booked a king room, was given a queen with a broken television, moved rooms to another queen with a broken television The floors are not insulated, so every step above can be heard $260, for a horrible nights sleep I can only see greed or spite being the reason that the general manager, RJ to refuse to refund – even partially I was at this hotel for 6 hours

melissa ryan

Giovanni, the nighttime front desk staff, is just so amazing He went above and beyond to make sure that i enjoyed my stay, providing me with recommendations for local hidden secret bars to enjoy, as well as delightful and entertaining conversation And Jaran hooked it up with free samosas

Staff was generally great The rooms feel a little like a dorm but include top of the line espresso machines, and modern design The hotel needs some upgrades, but was ok for just me

I apologize for not taking more photos I enjoyed my massage at the spa it was absolutely delightful The massage therapist was very good

However I would say that they weigh overcharged for their services I very much enjoyed their food there breakfast is all I ate there and light bites for lunch at the pool everything was delicious The rooftop bar is fun however the pool is very small It seems much larger on their website in the pictures but it’s quite small The views from up there beautiful The staff is great Very good service Unfortunately though the drinks again are completely overpriced The bathtub was amazing in the bathroom the lighting could have been much better in the bathroom for being able to see myself as I was getting ready The room itself was nice but it could have been a little nicer and larger for the amount of money that they’re charging the small patio space was nice which is what they call a terrace but it also could have been a little bigger what some nice plants floral plants would have been nice it would have been a nice touch All in all I enjoyed my stay there

YR

I would definitely stay here again for the location and the rooms It’s a great decor and a beautiful environment in and around the hotel I enjoyed the stay very much

The cons here are the service and the pool area The staff at registration are not very friendly and accommodating and the pool is quite small and the sunbathing area was full and I had to wait about an hour for a spot there My biggest complaint was not really a fault of the hotels completely but I had some emergency business that came up and I needed to stay in the room an extra 45 minutes or so The hotel was very far from full so there was really no emergency to vacate the room right away There were literally at least 8 notifications from different members of the staff asking when I plan on leaving and each of them said okay when I asked for an extra hour I literally checked out and left 45 minutes after my scheduled checkout so I’m not sure what all the aggression was about

J C

Front desk amazing, restaurant in lobby top tier, rooftop pool service 0 The service on the rooftop is horrible No greeting s no acknowledgment and I was there over half an hour and not serviced

It was like another world from the service and amazing hospitality in the lobby areas There was a women on the rooftop her name was I think Bethlaham she was fantastic but the other staff really didn’t mirror the luxury experience I had seen from others Not welcoming at all and we were there to celebrate a special occasion The rest of the staff was great but the rooftop pool servers team by so much

My husband and I were not staying at the hotel but we wanted to go and have a drink at The Polo Lounge (for the experience ya know) in the evening We walked in late afternoon to inquire after a long hike in Malibu and we were greeted by a woman at the front desk She was so pleasant and tbh I was shocked at how well she treated us given

She politely told us that if we wanted to come back in the evening, we’d have to change our attire, but not in an offensive way at all We also knew that our current attire was not appropriate for the lounge We returned that evening showered and dressed up and the same woman greeted us and walked us to the Polo Lounge She even complimented on how good we looked! We were lucky as there were two open seats at the bar so we sat down and the bartender immediately asked us if we wanted a drink We ordered two drinks, dessert, and coffee chatted with the bartender, and really just enjoyed the experience The level of attentiveness and customer service was beyond expected It was a lovely ending to our trip before heading back to Canada the next day Thank you for the wonderful experience I am happy to see that all guests are treated EQUALLY

The place is wonderful, and it makes you feel like going back in time with the portraits of some of the most influential Hollywood stars back then, and from nowIt was a good experience for me, because it was my first time in California I wish it would had been better, and more relaxing

I didn’t have the best company to enjoy the most of itIt is a great place Luxurious, great pool, nice bar Nice eating area for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner

The Pink Palace remains as an exceptional and unique place to stay and experience We travel the world, stick to 5-star hotels and resorts, and no place has this sense of place and home While it is still a celebrity playground, one need not be a celebrity to receive exceptional treatment

Dino Rudolf was consistently attentive, and the staff in the Polo Lounge were wonderful over several evenings We will be back many times in the future As our 12 year old son asked “can we be like Howard Hughes and live here on and off for the next 30 years?”
