My boyfriend and I stayed here for him to work near Lake Jackson for a week Upon entering the hotel we were greeted and immediately checked in Check-in process was a breeze

Cookies and fruit water at the front desk was also a plus for me Our room was very clean and comfortable I utilized the fitness center and was very pleased with their equipment and water dispenser On our 3rd day a family checked in on the floor above us and the kids were a bit noisy Reported it to front desk and Nathan immediately took action When we went out for dinner Nathan remembered our faces, stopped us in the lobby, and provided keys to a new room on the top floor Overall our stay was very comfortable! Great location, amenities and staff

This is the nicest Courtyard Property I’ve ever been to They went the extra mile with putting rocks glasses in bedrooms, actual coffee mugs in bedrooms, nice furniture, a very nice bar and bistro area in the lobby, above average gym equipment, and a very cool hang out spot out back by the pool with a large gas fireplace Additionally, the staff is also the best of any hotel in the area hands down

Amber Kane

The receptionist was very nice and tried her best to address issues There wasn’t necessarily an issue with the hotel – the stay was ok It was just a tad over priced for the amenities offered

I paid 180 for one night – had issues with the WiFi and had had to get a call from IT to set up I called in advance for my check in time and when I arrived I had to wait Breakfast is not included – there is a bistro where you can purchase breakfast Small pool – no jacuzzi No ATM No room service I requested no feather pillows as I am allergic to feathers in purchasing the room – feather pillows were in room It’s the small things – the details If I’m going to spend over 250 dollars for a one night stay in a hotel (purchasing breakfast) – I would expect to feel a little pampered Nice room though

The rooms were very clean & comfortable Everyone we met was very professional, especially Monique & Lydia They were so kind & always had a smile on their face & such kind words to say & always willing to help

They were always (especially Lydia) complimenting my 82 years old Mother on her “beautiful colorful clothes” That maked her feel good, which in turn made me feel very good Loved everything about the stay here We have family in the area & definitely will be back

Audri’Anna Houston

The good about it was the staff, definitely amazing staff Greeted as soon as walked in and helped Very friendly

What was poor was, as a Hilton member received no waters, or extended check out time Also, no digital key access Lastly there was only 1 elevatorRooms were outdated however still nice, did not have a problem with shower waterLoved the rooms had microwave and fridge!

Peggy Koskiniemi

I wish we had read the reviews before booking here The carpets in the hall and the rooms are filthy Why don’t they consider using LVP when they do their scheduled remodel? Cleaner floors are important to better health and easier maintenance for staff

The duvets are polyester and even with the thermostat set at 68 F, it is too hot to sleep The tile in the bathroom is water stained and was not mopped or vacuumed The lady at the front desk was friendly and that is the only reason there is even one point on the review

Really nice quiet property, nicely furnished room helpful staff I like the free washers and dryer’s and definitely like being able to cook instead of eating out all the time Good location convenient to shopping and whatever you may need just minutes away

Great place to stay if your out of town for any length of time, also enjoyed the pool after a hot day at work I know I’ll be staying at this property when ever here in Lake Jackson

Ronnica Ridgeway

The location is not great Although convenient, being so close to the freeway has its down side I tried to use the restroom, after breakfast, and they posted “temporarily out of service”

Evidently this is purposed as a deterrent for the homeless to use the restroom to bathe at least that is what a person working there saidThe staff was nice The rooms were clean

We had a fantastic weekend escape at The Breeze Beach access is private and an easy walk from the camp sites The grounds and facilities are really well kept

Great communication ahead of the stay If you are looking for a quiet, secure place where you can stay on the beach, this place is perfect The Motel looks great as well We can’t wait to visit again!

Sharon Sarabia

This is the second time we have come to this property with our motorhome and we have enjoyed both our trips as it’s not far from home and it’s right on the beachThe place is kept clean and the property is small and cozy I like they are strict on policies as we are here to relax

The beach is kept clean and police are present so we feel like the price is worth the way we feel safe thereI’m thankful our friend found this little place and we meet up here We don’t have children so it’s nice to talk to people in our age group and sit outside next to our RV and guests walk by and you start a conversation and meet new folks from all overLast our little dogs 🐕 really like the place and we don’t worry about them so much as not much traffic and everyone seems to watch out for one anotherOh our friend had one of his friends stay at the small hotel on the beach and he said it was really nice and clean as well and his friend will book again this summer

Michelle Salinas

This place is awesome! A mini vacation steps away from the beach The second floor room was perfect and provides all you need The staff is sweet and very informative, they even had a bonfire and s’mores I felt like a kid again

If you want a place to relax and enjoy some quiet time this is the place to go we didn’t want to leave We are ready to go back this summer Thank you See you soon !!

Very comfortable and clean rooms! Staff was super nice and very attentive Each room has its own little patio, so that you can step outside and smoke (as long as the door to your room remains closed) I could literally sit on my patio and watch the waves rolling in 🙂 it was such a nice stay, and I will definitely be going back

Everything was super clean, beds were SO comfortable, view was super, and everything you need is basically in walking distance The bar and grill is steps away, the beach is steps away – a little bridge goes straight from the hotel to the beach 🙂 the room IS kind of small, but it is also EXCELLENT, a little “pricey,” but for beach front AND the amazing service, I definitely recommend this place, I will definitely be returning HERE my next trip Oh and bring your own toiletries (not much of that in the room, there are a few things as far as bathroom toiletries go, but not much)

Alan Rutherford

Located ocean-front, this hotel is great for short beach weekends We spent 2 nights and enjoyed one full day Saturday on the beach right in front of the Hotel It was convenient to be able to either drive onto the beach or simply walk past the Seahorse restaurant to get to the beach

The staff was great, even though we had limited interaction For those who have complained about the price for what you get, I can say that what we paid was great for the location If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, this isn’t the hotel, or even town, for you If you want a comfortable, clean place to crash after a long day on the beach, you’ll have a hard time beating the Ocean Village Hotel in this area

H Fore

We needed a mini vacation and instead of going to our normal beach location we decided to try out Surfside Beach Ocean Village Hotel was the perfect spot! Building three has been recently updated with fresh paint, bath fixtures and wood looking flooring You cannot ask for a better location

A walk down the hall and a flight of stairs down and you are on the beach The view from our balcony was amazing, no need to go out to the beach to snap pictures The balcony off the front of the hotel made for great sunrise pictures This building is a few steps down the boardwalk to the Sea Horse Grill, that I highly recommend, food was great with friendly staffThe hotel staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful The cleanliness of the room was the best I have come across in a very long time No need to go behind and clean before usingThe downside to the room we were in was the need of a bench or table to put our luggage on, it stayed on the floor It had two chairs and a bookcase type piece of furniture with three drawers, and it held the refrigerator and microwave The top of that piece of furniture was the only flat space in the room other than the nightstand If you need to hang anything you would have to use the shower curtain rod There is no closet in this room It would also be nice if there was a sweep vac available due to sand being tracked in from the beachI still give five stars and will definitely be going back

Great property, awesome staff Sam, the young lady with the blonde hair (Sorry can’t remember her name) were very helpful and had great customer serviceThe only thing that is a challenge is having someone hard of hearing try to hear the TV

IT goes to 32, and myself with good hearing can barely hear it I wish that could be fixed as an ADA requirement People hard of hearing will not be able to hear the TV But all in all the hotel is a nice, comfortable, clean property Great breakfast options also

Jerrica Steger

This location is a decent stay if going to the beach and in the need for a night sleep and a good shower The rooms were a little on the small side and not super clean The surface was clean, but when you look under the bed skirt there was trash that wasn’t ours

The beds weren’t very comfortable but with rhe right amount of pillows it could work I was pleased to see a microwave, refrigerator and Keurig The breakfast was pretty standard with eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt and so on They also have a pretty nice coffee station The pool is spacious and located outside and has a hot tub The staff was very friendly

My whole experience staying at this awesome and amazing Hotel was the best As soon as you walked in the hotel you can smell the cleanliness , it smelled so clean and so fresh unlike other hotels that smell like mildew This one did not

The rooms were amazing and very clean The staff was amazing, the manager was happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 was absolutely fantastic and the chef was awesome and very kind and if breakfast items were out they would replace and make sure we had plenty to eat I wish that they had biscuits and gravy that would have been awesome And it was awesome that they had free washing and drying for your clothes all you had to do was to bring your laundry detergent and fabric softener They Supply to you with your own laundry basket in your room I seriously recommend staying at this five star hotel They make you feel at home and like family I will definitely be back thank you so much for your hospitality and taking care of us

Bekah Blankenship

We have stayed at this hotel twice, almost exactly a year apart Our stay in 2021 was amazing We loved it so much that we didn’t consider staying anywhere else this year

But our most recent stay was not as great and we will not be as quick to returnThe facilities are still nice but they’re definitely not as clean The carpets in the breakfast area were gross, lots of stains and never appeared clean during our 6-night stay It also didn’t appear to be getting attention from anyone cleaning or rearranging after breakfast All week I noticed the same long cushion on the booth sitting with the zipper facing out instead of toward the back like the rest of them The breakfast bar was often out of utensils and other things- and the employees were sometimes huddled in the kitchen laughing and talking- you had to interrupt to ask for things We joked that each employee had different music selections because what was blasting from the kitchen varied- 90s rock, metal, and countryWe weren’t in our room much so it wasn’t a huge deal, but having paid for two rooms for a week, cleanliness is our biggest concern and it was just sub-par It felt like a different hotel than the one we had loved just a year ago

L H

The best hotel in LJ Staff were polite, accommodating and professionals The whole ambiance was elegant, calming and relaxing

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable Breakfast was always good, served fresh and hot Special thanks to Sherri, she’s so friendly and sweet We love her positive energy Over all we enjoyed our stay, and we’ll definitely use this hotel in the future againLyn

Beautiful house, really close access to the beach The house had a balcony for two of the three rooms and a balcony for the front and back door on the first level This one also had an elevator! And an outdoor shower and spicket to hose/shower off all the sand

Enjoyed the entire stay The restaurant they have menus for no longer delivers though, so try and keep that in mind when you view their menu I enjoyed the food though, it was worth picking up! The house had dishes, cups, mugs, utensils, coffee pot, coffee, all the basic necessaties one could ask for (besides body wash and shampoo [of course that is fine, because I had my own products]) The one we stayed at also had beach chairs, beach tent, sand toys, a kite, you name it they had a lot more than we thought they would have Overall, it was an amazing place to spend my first vacation I intend to have many more there hopefullyBefore you go there though, if you have plans to explore the nearby towns, please account for traffic it was really bad over 4th of July and a lot of restaurants were either closed without warning, or shut down Galveston is also a little over an hour away from there, so make sure you account for the traffic when considering travel time, and I also recommend planning it out ahead of time My family didn’t plan it out (even though I wanted to) and so all the things they wanted to do were booked up and the traffic was so bad that we didn’t have enough time to drive and explore We had nothing to do except hang at the beach (which was still very enjoyable, I just prefer exploring)I do not recommend bringing food down to the beach (the seagulls are very interested in human food) My family and I did not bring any, but others did and were swarmed by seagulls Also, please do not feed the seagulls, as this gives them the confidence to hang around the humans and take their food when they get a chanceI would recommend bringing a beach towel, multiple pairs of sunglasses (if you lose them in the ocean like my fiancee lost mine lol), some water shoes, and a pool donut tube (it was a lot of fun riding the waves with the tube, and the shoes prevented critters from touching my feet) Oh! And LOTS of sunscreen so you don’t burn (preferrably 100+ spf) While you’re there, fill out their guest book for me! Since I totally forgot to fill it out 😬😬😬

Heidi Harris

I specifically requested a king size bed/kitchenette because they were on a lower level It showed they were available but they weren’t and we were never informed of that We simply found out when we checked in and given our room number

Management was unwilling to do anything about it We decided the bright side was not having to hear anyone above us The room is nice The bed was comfortable There were no additional blankets or pillows available Cooking and eating utensils are just what people have left behind There were no coffee filters; they provide full size coffee pot, coffee and condiments The oven blew out quite a billow of smoke It obviously has never been cleaned The hot water is non existent The view is amazing, having the semi-private deck is really nice The A/C works wonderfully It’s nice to walk down to the water The pet deposit is completely reasonable and really appreciate a place actually accepting of dogs, not just animals under 20lbs The price for the room alone is a bit much for what you getThis area of the beach is not terribly busy The visitors at the extended suites seem to be less rowdy than the hotel side Come very, very prepared Do not expect much more than a place to cool off and sleep

Walter Anderson

I love this place when I’m staying The Weeknd Or a week down in Surfside It is right on the beach very easy access very comfortable clean rooms They have little foot wash faucets on the entrance back from the beach which is very refreshing

They have underneath the building showers what you can rinse off the sand and salt which is very refreshing after a long day on the beach Another thing I love is I can drive my jeep right from the parking lot and directly through the entrance On to the beach and be fishing in 5 minutes

I was very Upset that we came 2 hours away an chose this hotel to be the one many teams players from South East Tx came to Without being told they posted at the office that the Pool was closed for maintenance in Which the pool looked fine This also happened last year! So if your going to sell rooms to multiple teams an say that it’s broken because of Liability you should of done so before booking, This hotel Made enough money from what 4 teams group pay that a Lifeguard could been hired

I am sure I will not be the only one writing reviews! I will never stay there again because I had my 5 grand children looking forward to the Pool time! The Rooms were nice the Man that did Breakfast both day’s knocked it out of the park with fantastic layouts an made sure everything was full He even had our early morning breakfast an Coffee ready as we had to leave early for the Fields! As I was checking out I witnessed the 2 women fighting with a Stay guest in front lobby full of children, then they proceeded when officers got there Cursing an talking loud with many children’s present eating breakfast! The Two lady’s at the Front desk should have taken it to a back room but all of the Hotel was able to witness this altercation & the language was awful! This was Sunday Morning 06/12/2022 NEXT time when Folks check in for Vacations Please I put on your sites an or tell the Customers that the POOLS are down I asked them Why was NOT discounted? She said we was but Okay! Other then that Your location an cleanliness was 5 stars If I could give the Young man doing breakfast more stars I would! But Your staff needs to learn That you do NOT argue with a guest publicly!

Tony De La Rosa

A bit rude when we arrived and just gave us our key card, no hello, no information room location,no information of what was working and what wasnt Forgot to take a picture of the swamp of a pool Carpet was soaking wet and one bed only had the bed cover sheet and no additional sheets

Checking out was the same! Location was convenient and the breakfast was fair

Rooms had a muggy smell to them, we had to turn the AC on to dry the air outBreakfast was very disappointing, poor variety and not very good The fruit was old and mushy

No variety in yogurt, pork sausage and eggsThe workout room was a joke The elliptical was literally held together with duct tape which tells me they knew it was broken but chose not to fix it No fan in the room But they did have a small dumbbell set If you’re planning on working out your better off going for a run The area around is beautifulService was great though Anything we needed they were on top of it Very friendly and responsive, the entire staff we met

Mimies Reyna

The older lady at the front desk is very rude Had to call to the front desk after checking in to ask for a different room because the one we were in smelled very musty and wet, she kept saying I can’t hear you, what are you saying I was practically yelling into the phone

Went to exchange the key and she moved us to the room next to the first one, it still smelled musty but the air freshener plugged into the wall masked the smell😒 There was a large wet puddle on the floor that we had to avoid, but we were tired and didn’t want to deal with the front clerk again The day clerk and housekeeper were very friendly and helpful I won’t be staying there again and I will not recommend it to anyone I know

Caylie Doyle

This place is definitely not the “friendliest hotel in town” as the sign said outside I work for a comfort suites in Texas and I went down to stay for one night this past Friday (April 1st-2nd) We got there around 11-11:30pm and the lady who checked us in was absolutely rude

I got the room for a cheaper rate because I’m an employee and it was $55 and 6213 after tax, she then charged me $87 and I asked why that was and she rudely said “it’s an incidental charge, all hotels do it and some charge not just $25 like us but up to $100” our hotel doesn’t do that so it came as a shock to which I replied “our hotel doesn’t do that, I’ve never heard of a comfort suites doing this before” and she continued to be rude I then went into the room, and proceeded to call the front desk to ask when breakfast was and again, her tone of voice and how she spoke to me was rude as well and uncalled for When you have guest staying at your hotel, you are supposed to provide excellent customer service no matter what the issue is This was just very upsetting seeing how other hotels are run compared to ours Other then that, the room was great and very clean and the man who checked us out in the morning was much nicer then she was

Thank you ladies for all your help! You were amazing!!

This new RV Park has recently opened They are developing more sites while renting the ones that are available They have RV sites, and also rent cabins, travel trailers and fifth wheels to stay in

So you can enjoy the camping experience without having to buy an RV There’s a common use site with outdoor barbecue pits, a bar, picnic tables, and a small fridge for guests to use The hosts are wonderful people who work hard to see that you enjoy your stay It’s away from the busy neighborhoods and big cities giving you the out-in-the-country feel But it’s close enough to major facilities like shopping, a mall, restaurants, and health facilities for all your needs There’s much to enjoy like museums, historical sites, walking, biking, and hiking trails, and beaches

Nick Mancuso

Ms Dwana and Ms Stephanie took care of my girlfriend and I like family

Great hospitality and price The vibe is very laid back, the lodgings are comfortable and look great, and there are spaces for people with their own RV as well as a selection of cabins and tiny homes We spent the night in a loft, and it was wonderful Close to the beach, and the adjoining cities have really built out some fun stuff to do Will definitely be staying there for our Brazoria County destinations in the futureBonus: we saw some ducks in a tree!
