Stayed one night while traveling though This is a decent older motel that I gave four stars for the product provided at the lower price point No the Travelers in is by no means perfect

What it is, being an older motel that had a clean room to spend the night The furniture was newer and nice (well the refrigerator and microwave seemed older) But everything was newer design and nice The paint seemed nice and it even had an iron and ironing board Although the ceiling tiles could use a little attentionThe room had nice linen and pillows Although the pillows were on the smaller side They did the job and were pretty good anyway The bed gave me a decent nights sleep, which isn’t always the case at some higher cost motelsThe bathroom was fairly small and with almost no counter space But this is a trade off of an older motel design The shower was decent although items like shampoo slides off the shelve But again, it does the job for what you needNow the thing I did not like The AC was extremely loud I could not hear the TV or much else once you turned up the TV to be able to hear over the AC And that was on the low setting So I left it off Thankfully it wasn’t that warmOther than check in, there was no contact with anyone We had to leave the key as I left just before 7am So I could not get a receipt Had to leave the key in a drop boxThe motel is located close to town and I95 So it worked well for me The price is reasonable considering what you get rather than what you don’t get So I do think the trailers Inn was good enough to spend a night or more in the future if the occasion arrises

My husband and I were very impressed with our recent stay at the Travelers Inn Our room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were very polite and friendly The Inn is conveniently located on a main street, yet we had no trouble with noise from traffic or other guests

We would recommend this place to other travelers looking for an affordable home base to explore coastal Maine

KT

This place is a great, little inn as you come into Brunswick It’s a little hard to turn left out of this location, but, if you’re going back out to Portland, that’s not an issue at all The rooms were clean and recently renovated or in great shape

I think they had a good amount of space for two people with some luggage The breakfast had some good options: English muffins, regular muffins, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fruit (bananas or oranges) There is no elevator for the second floor rooms, and there are steps into each room This place is not handicapped accessible

This place is nothing fancy but neither is the price! It was recently renovated and spotlessly clean Our room had a rather inadequate vanity/sink outside the shower area but that was the only real flaw The beds and bedding were very nice as was the shower

The best part is the management In spite of seeming understaffed, our room was cleaned by the manager/owner and he Immediately met any request The most amazing experience was as we were leaving My husband left his iPad in the room and as we were pulling onto the highway, we heard someone shouting It was the manager, who had run after us the entire length of the motel, then down the road to give us the iPad We were really impressed by his kindness

Clean, quiet and comfortable! We stayed 5 nights at the Moonlight Inn in July 2022, and enjoyed great hospitality and a comfortable, clean room Although it was very busy, our room was nice and quiet This motel is convenient to Boothbay, Portland, Wiscasset, Bath and other towns along Rt

1 All the businesses we needed were within a few miles Bowdoin College is here in Brunswick and the campus is surrounded by places to eat and shop

Wasn’t too too bad, staff was super friendly! Breakfast is included, we weren’t interested in eating there though Our tub was dirty and the tile in the bathroom to step up into the jetted tub was loose and I slipped on it and almost ate the counter but caught myself It felt like it was rotting underneath the step as well as in the shower, it felt very “squishy”

The shower head had build up, normal stuff if you dont scrub it super good The room was fine other than that, but I didnt like check it or anything We didn’t go down to the pool- weird about pools and the dirt in the tub just made me not want to even more lol The beds aren’t the comfiest but it wasn’t terrible The pillows on the other hand are WAY too soft Usually there’s like a soft squishy one and a harder one but they were both super soft and flattened right out

Gina La Monica

The hotel is strategically located by Bowdoin College and the downtown of Brunswick The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful The manager even remembered I needed a new key and had it ready for me before asking for it

There is free breakfast and snacks and drinks available all day They have a small gym and indoor heated pool The place is in need of a facelift but it was very clean

Samantha Hayward

Horrible just horrible The whole reason we had came was because of the pool and hottub, was told there was a hottub on the phone but got here and was told its been down for 2 years Not to mention the pool is literally almost the size of a hottub not big at only and only 5ft deep

Stayed here for an hour and left Dont reccomend staying here for the pool

We came here for a hockey tourney for 3 days/3 nights We had an excellent experience The hotel was so accommodating and tolerant for so many kids running around

We weren’t the only team staying there The staff was so friendly The rooms were immaculate The breakfast was delicious Lots of choices and super fresh food I would happily stay here again The only negative was no nightlight which is an easy fix with a nightlight from the dollar store Also, no fan in the bathroom which is kind of weird bc it’s loud and I hate smelly anything It didn’t bother anyone else, but me 😂

Thank goodness Hampton Inn was able to provide us with a room on such short notice! We needed to get out of a surrounding hotel ASAP due to terrible service and cleanliness and Hampton came to the rescue! I left the suitcase carrier outside my door as we unpacked our bags and when I went to return it, it was no longer in the hall I asked the housekeeping staff on the floor if they happened to take it, and their response was “oh don’t worry! One of us must have grabbed it, that’s what we are here for!” with a smile and such happiness in their voice This was the absolute opposite from which we came from and I couldn’t have been more appreciative! We loved our stay and will book this hotel for any and all upcoming trips to Maine! Thanks Hampton!

Nice hotel Lovely lobby with friendly staff at the desk and the kitchen This is our 2nd time here

We stayed two nights this time The maids apparently don’t know how to smile, nod or say helloThe room was nice enough and the maids did a really nice job cleaning Room is a bit small but still workable Small fridge and microwave Table/desk Iron & board Coffee in room Beds are comfortable and no bugs Yes I checked The water pressure in the shower was fantasticElevators had a funky smell the entire time and after 2 days when we went to check out, we noticed instantly they had been vacuumed Before they were pretty messyThe breakfast is hot with many choices And different choices both mornings Nice seating area as well Ladies working the kitchen were very friendly But could use an assistant maybe if even to wipe tables and sweep floors during serviceParking lot is a lil sketchy Does not feel safe if you can’t park by the building and there isn’t many spotsNice restaurants within walking distance but again, sketchy areaPool was a saltwater pool Dirty towels on the floor and on chairs when we went in No one was there Globs of hair floating around the pool and stuck to the rim The bottom needed vacuumed are well Looked as tho someone went outside barefoot then came right back into the pool bringing pebbles with thenWould we stay there again, well, this was our 2nd time at this location so yes We can over look the not so great stuff for the pluses

The rooms were OK the size was great mattress pad requested was not in room, Also did not want room cleaned but did want fresh towels and face clothes was only given towels Poor signage into the lot from the rotary Post covid is tough on us all, those areas of attention to detail were missing

Not the end of the world we had a good stay and a good time Thank you to the staff that showed up! Keep up the hard work

I’m frantically looking for hotels to stay at due to my apartment flooding so my roommates an I were calling around, my roommate happened to call this hotel after me so when I called back later in the afternoon I was met with attitude being told “we’ve already told you this 3 times sir” on my second call to them All I needed was an invoice of some sort showing the entire cost of our stay for the insurance company and instead I was met with instant attitude I’m sure it’s a great place to stay most of the time but I definitely didint appreciate the attitude I received

Stacy Grosse

This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in by far! I booked through Priceline and got an amazing deal for a king suite There was a little mixup when we checked in (seriously no big deal at all!) and the desk clerk offered us free waters for the duration of our stay, which was just so kind! The pool area was clean, and the towels were heated Our room was so clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! They had a huge selection of food items, including omelets, empanatas and mini quiches, as well as fresh fruits, cereals, iced and hot coffees, and other chilled breakfast foods

If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

Beautiful room Very clean Extra towels already in the bedroom

We asked for extra pillows and delivered them to the room right away I was very happy with the way the room, lobby and dining area was designed A full complimentary breakfast and we ordered our large breakfast that would have been at least $30 We were able to choose what floor and the view We chose the top floor with the river/rock view which was very pretty The only downfall was our neighbors next door had dogs and were left alone and the barking was extremely loud and didn’t stop till after 10pm so we had to wait to get to sleep When our pillows was being delivered, the dogs could clearly be heard It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the neighbors had dogs Or the hotel should have made sure there would have been a room empty before our room and not hear the barking

Theresa Hemingway

Wonderful! Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and happy The wait staff in the restaurant really stood out for their helpfulness The food was excellent as wellWe treated ourselves to a jacuzzi suite and were glad we did

We had a view of the river, and although the falls weren’t running because of a drought, it was still very prettyHighly recommend!!!

Lisa Sprague

Our experience was great We had a nice room, very very comfortable bed and jacuzzi on the first floor Noise from other rooms were minimal

The pool and exercise room was very close to get too I was please that the dining area was very close to the entrance/exit to the check in located conveniently All of the staff were very nice and could see they enjoyed their careers there, they were happy, smiling and friendly to us and each other Parking was a breeze We took a walk around the area and enjoyed the Military Veterans Memorial

Location is very good Parking is limited Had to park downtown both nights on the street and move the car in the morning in order to not be ticketed

Also, no room cleaning Told us it was due to covid The rooms are no better than a holiday inn express and frankly the breakfast is better at your local best western I just would have expected better for $350 a night

Jessica Dejongh

Hotel was clean and in a great area Flip restaurant next door was delicious for breakfastWe requested a few basics from the desk and found that the service was lacking

A hotel of this level should have ceramic mugs for the morning coffee (at least at request) and bottled water (again, at request) No mugs available and you can get water if you go pick it up at the desk These issues are miniscule, but are expected at this level of accommodation

Alex Walter

I wish I could have given a better rating I want to start by saying our room was clean & the staff were very pleasant They even accommodated us when we arrived a day early (charging us more than our already booked stay though)

My husband and I were in Maine for a week for our wedding The room was supposed to have robes, we could have asked but the point is the room was not prepared There are several other hotels and inns in Brunswick that supply more amenities like refrigerators and microwaves in the room (a refrigerator would have been nice to store drinks and food) We booked a pet friendly stay and we’re polite enough to keep our dog on a leash Others at the hotel were not as polite with 2 small dogs jumping, barking and nipping at our dog in the lobby It’s not bad for a night but even then it’s a little pricey for what you get Our stay was fine but I probably would not recommend and would not personally stay here again

Booked a room last min for a same-day booking They allowed me to check-in early, The major sell was having my dog Zeke with me and finding an affordable place on short notice Luckily, I was happily surprised that the hotel and amenities were far beyond my expectations

I stayed for one night I enjoyed the trails and Museum on the Hotel grounds All in all, everything I had hoped to receive from my stay I did and more, I would 100% go back and stay again

Chris Smith

So I am a Marriott 1000+ nights traveller but just couldn’t justify paying $200+/night this week while on the road so I looked around and found this resort and booked it with a bit of skepticism but price was sensible and it looked like it would be clean Probably my favorite travel night this year! What a great and relaxing place to spend the evening Sat out on the front porch in a deck chair and enjoyed the view while I got a bit of work done with no wifi issues anywhere on the grounds

Went to bed that evening and looked around the old fashioned but well appointed room and it just reminded me of being a kid sleeping at my Grandma’s house Took a fantastic walk the next morning on the trails and visited the original spring Really nice break from what my normal work travel week looks like I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area! Great place and the sign as you drive in that says “Stress Free Zone” is spot on!!

Vanessa Laro-Conway

Vet nice, comfortable, peaceful place with a beautiful view outside the hotelThe night manager drove down to show us the way to the hotel because we could not find itI would definitely stay here again if I am ever in that part of Maine again

Stayed for 2 nights recently The room was clean, but on the older side Bathroom fixtures worked fine, despite their age

Beds were adequate I found the place quiet and comfortable The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful I did not have the included breakfast, but my companion said it was a good selectionAs far as location, being close to the freeway was essential I was able to spend time in Portland, Freeport, and Bangor using Brunswick as my hub I would stay again

Katelyn Dunnell

Booked this hotel based on price and location of events we were attending that weekend Check in was super easy The women at the desk was polite and helpful

Lobby was clean and had a inviting atmosphere The room was clean and comfortable Was hard to exit the driveway with the highway traffic Highly recommend!!! We will be visiting again soon!!! Thank You!!

Andrea Maurer

The room overall was okay The hotel is long, if you need to use an elevator plan on walking a ways to your room The back hallway carpets were dirty, dead bugs looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks

If you stay during the warmer months the a/c leaves the room extremely damp So damp the items in my suit case and the bed blankets felt wet Towels won’t dry, woke up feeling like I was in a tent Thankful I was only here for 2 nights
