The amenities in the room were great The room was spacious and very comfortable The area around billeting is quiet and you’re able to open the windows for fresh air

The thing the baffled me was the mask policy Everyone is required to wear a mask whether fully vaccinated or not on base, yet none of the employees working the front desk had masks on I encountered four different people working the front desk and none of them had masks on The other odd thing is that they don’t provide you a confirmation number when you make a reservation Overall, great price for the location

Was clean, definitely not modernly renovated but that’s okay! Beds could have been a little more comfortable It’s not a long drive from Niagara Falls which is where we went and was definitely fairly priced for what you get We checked in super late at close to 4am but there was still someone to greet us in and she was very sweet about recommendations for things to do and how to go about Niagara

I was a bit uneasy after reading a few horror reviews from recent visitors Upon arrival the hotel looked promising as the lobby and hallways appeared to be clean and well maintainedHowever once we got into the room we were assigned, there was food crumbs on the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky/grimy

We went down to the front desk, got a new room and Steve was awesome plus apologetic He mentioned if we had any more issues, they had plenty of rooms available at the moment The second room was great, clean, sheets smelled fresh but realized there was no fridge to hold milk for our toddlerAgain, we called front desk and this time, it was quite a condescending tone from Paul He mentioned not every room has a mini fridge and microwave He so called “offered” for us to keep our toddler’s milk at the fridge at the front As a parent, I am not comfortable leaving my toddlers milk like this Paul went even further and said he knows we are only staying for one night and cannot keep giving us a new roomI was very taken back by this, I paid for this room As a matter of fact, he didn’t give me anything but a horrible feeling that I cannot trust this hotel againMy apologies for housekeeping at this point, I’m going to be using a lot of ice tonight to keep the milk cold and will never be returning to this hotel even if it was free

I booked two rooms on a weekend the rate was between $150 and $160 for the night This hotel is located just off the I-290 in Amherst, and thankfully is far enough from the interstate, you cannot really hear much trafficOur experience with check-in was positive

The staff were helpful and answered any questions we had without issueOn arrival, the exterior and the property generally look nice Same with the lobby and hallways It ends thereOur first impression of the rooms is that they are small There’s not much room to move around once you get a family inside with any luggageThe interior of the room was lacklustre to say the least The laminate floor was dirty, with giant gaps to stub your toes on The furniture is well used, and abused, and appeared to be hastily wiped down but not cleaned fullyThe minifridge was clean, but the freezer inside was full of frost The coffee maker was dirty and didn’t look appealing to use at allThe TV worked, but froze up intermittently, becoming frustrating to deal withThe bathroom is incredibly small, like REALLY small – with a toilet and small shower stall, barely big enough for a grown adult to fit in Anyone with physical ailments or a larger person would have a tough time making it workThere was hair on the floor of the shower stall, and on the bathroom floor The corners of the floor, behind the toilet were dirty and full of dustWe booked a room for two adults and two kids, but the room only had two towels Again, the staff were helpful and arranged to get us more, but was disappointing this wasn’t taken care of as part of the bookingThe beds themselves were clean, but underneath the beds (yes, there’s an underneath the bed at this hotel) were disgusting Tons of dust and dirtBoth of the two rooms we booked were on the same state of cleanlinessWe had no problems with noise, other than hearing the toilet flush periodically from the room aboveWe checked out the pool area It was generally clean, but appears that some areas are in need of being freshened upI’ve stayed at a number of other Hilton hotels in the past, and have always had a great stay Unfortunately this one missed the mark completely I would not return to this hotel again, nor would I recommend it

This was a great place to stay

yes the furniture isn’t new, yes it could use a touch up of paint here or there, but honestly it’s not the RitzThe place was clean and the staff were amazingly polite and accommodatingI’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and I can honestly say I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Clean, solid gym, friendly staff, affordable, good amenities We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here, the room we were given was well worth what we paid Our room included a kitchen with coffee maker, sink and small stove as well as plates, bowls, glasses and utensils

In addition there small living room space with recliner couch and TV The bathroom provisioned with dove products The gym area had everything I needed (pictured below), always glad when they have dumbbells on hand! Altogether we loved our stay, slept remarkably and would recommend to anyone

Andrew Eisensmith

I needed a hotel to do an extended stay at I have used candlewood before in different locations, but his stay was amazing The staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife and I

We had a small cat with us and they made sure our room was serviced regardless Everyone who works there is extremely nice and willing to help if there is an issue We had some minor issues with the heater in our room and it needed to be replaced They did not charge us for that day The room was very clean All the washer and dryers were in working order which was great I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in the buffalo area for an extended period of time

Jonathan Bruyn

I have stayed here number of times while attending a Buffalo Bulls football or a basketball game It is very close to the University of Buffalo I enjoyed the suite, it has everything you need to eat

It needs a bit of a update It is very close to restaurants There is a Tops Supermarket near by to grab a few things for breakfast or dinner to have in your suite Book early, especially if you are attending homecoming weekend, the hotel can fill up quickly Not too far from Orchard Park home of the Bills, or Niagara Falls I will stay here again in the future Just a heads up there is no restaurant in the hotel Staff is friendly and helpful

What a beautiful hideaway gem!!It’s quiet, practical and surprising

the rooms are large and clean (who knew that was something that needed to be added) fireplace & hot tub ( a real hot tub) coffee maker microwave and a mini refrigerator Towels!! Plenty of nice thick towels, wash clothes and hand towels were in the room Although not a smoking room, each room has a cute sitting area right outside each room door as well as nicely planned gazebos sprinkled throughout the property Very social outside setting for a hotel, in the Northeast The bed was comfortable, and welcomingJust a wonderful experience I will be back, maybe even a Regular 😁😉

Good ol’ Robby

I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country and the Lockport Inn and suites is by far my favorite place of all time I can’t wait to come back again It’s cozy, clean, and the staff are friendly genuinely nice people

There are carpets throughout the place and they look so awesome It’s like stepping back in time This is a one of a kind place I’d live there if they’d let me

My stay was just okay 🤷🏻‍♂️Nice but somewhat dated typical Marriott feel Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, whether at the front desk, restaurant or exec lounge – all service was superb

Rooms were well appointed Comfortable bed Good water pressure and tempMy main complaint was lack of soundproofing I could hear everything…and I mean everything Every door that opened in my hallway Every word my neighbors said Every sneeze Everything I’ll allow you to fill in the rest of those detailsAnd while the service in the exec lounge was great, the food options were almost laughableI would stay again but wouldn’t be my first pick

Marian Rose

It was clean and bed was comfortable Had coffee and tea available in room This Marriott is older and in need of updating

It’s not as nice as other more modern Marriott I’ve stayed at I only had 1 washcloth in room and water took forever to get hot in shower But room was clean and I had no problems staying there The rate for this Marriott was lower then other Marriott, so I felt I got my moneys worth

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any place This web site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t regret itI was UB student I brought my parents for the weekend for a short visitThe rooms are clean and immaculate The staff is very adjusting and cooperative They allowed early check-in and provided a really good service I would highly recommend this place for stay It is also reasonable priced if you book in advance I paid $153 for a 1 night stay for 1 king room

The farmhouse bed and breakfast was absolutely beautiful! The beds were super comfy and the property is gorgeous The hosts were great, too! My sister had her wedding in the backyard and the hosts helped us clean up and everything! They served us amazing breakfasts every morning (that was the best part!) and we had great conversation with them as well Five star place for sure!

Elizabeth Leroux

Beautiful and relaxing Owners Beth and Jim are wonderful hosts! Went looking for some peace and quiet and found that and much more The property is absulutely gorgeous! The B&B itself is amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast out of this world! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Totally recommend this B&B❤

Leah

I went here to do wedding updos for the bridal party in the morning The owner came in while everyone was getting ready and made a delishious smelling breakfast sandwiches and muffins all homemade! The inside was so well thought out I only got to see the kitchen and common rooms not a room to stay in, everything was clean and well organized and rustic with a modern feel

After visiting for my work, i would go back to stay overnight!

This place is a stay away situation Booked my hotel and paid in full on my credit card over a month in advance Got an email from them less than 24 hours from checking in and a 1000 miles from home saying that they could not honor my reservation and they would only be issuing me a partial refund charging me a cancellation fee

When I spoke with they told me about their fluctuating rates and that I had a promo rate and I was bumped for a priority guest who was willing to pay a higher rate They told me that that very day they had bumped a single mother with 6 children, so my situation wasn’t as bad as theirs The attendant who was the night auditor lied to me and told me no manager would be in the building until 11am the next day I work in the industry and I know this a lie Messaged the location 5 different times and never received a message or call back This place is unprofessional and filled with people who lack integrity I was on vacation and a long way from home and this made things very stressful I have contacted corporate as well and no response Fortunately I was able to book with the Comfort Inn across the road and although the location was a little dated It was very clean and had kind caring professionals who worked there and it made a big difference

Robin Moeller

Our family stayed three nights at this hotel while visiting UB The room was spacious and comfortable The breakfast was good and the we enjoyed the amenities including the gym, the basketball hoop and sitting out by the firepit in the evening

This was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had The staff was amazing We asked them questions about must-see places and they delivered

The pool was closed for maintenance during our stay and they coordinated with another hotel for use of their pool The breakfast was great The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable

Sairam Rajagopalan

Pro – Very good location and was given a spacious 2 bed room for the stay Beds were goodHowever the maintenance within the room was bad, the bathroom shower handle came off many times The front desk did not have any DVDs

It was like a place which flourished once upon a time and now lost it Breakfast also was pretty limited in variety All over the hotel, there was some food smell (kitchen was provided but can’t understand how smell goes throughout) Had better expectations with IHG (am a member), seems only holiday inn has some standards maintained

CHEF MOSHE

FRAUD Extremely dishonest and extremely unprofessional and uncaring They couldn’t possibly care any less about their customers after they check in!Any hotel that doesn’t provide every customer with FULL, complete, daily cleaning services for every room, is a youth hostel! This information is not provided before every customer books room(s) or before the customer arrives

This isn’t professional This is detrimental to the Hilton brand, to the hotel and to the customers This isn’t acceptable whatsoever It doesn’t benefit anyone! Imagine booking a hotel and driving over 400 miles to the hotel only to find out when you get there extremely worn out and tired that they don’t care about you, and that you must now look for a different hotelThe lesbian friendly advertisement for this hotel is lowlife disgusting, completely inappropriate, and it must be completely removedThe rooms and the pool are small The bathroom is large Awesome quality large TV Economical priceThe table with the free plates, bowls, forks, fresh fruit, etc is awesome and highly appreciatedThe small pool is clean and is highly appreciated by the guests An immensely larger, much deeper pool would be appropriate

Megan Dealhoy

My mom and I came in from Toronto and stayed here for a few days the week of July 4th From check in to check out we had a great experience The ladies at the front desk were super helpful and super sweet

The hotel is clean!! Like everywhere Rooms, lobby everythingThe rooms are small and cute and have current decor which is niceMy mom has disabilities and even tho they were sold out of accessible rooms, they were still able to get us a room with shower that suited her needs (she is not fully wheelchair dependent) We were truly grateful for that accommodationThe breakfast was good! And the 24 hour tea and coffee station is great!!The fire pit is a nice addition The weather was nice so I was able to sit and enjoy with a glass of wineThis is definitely my new go to hotel for cross border shopping trips!!

Arwyen83

We had a great experience for our 2 day getaway Everyone was super friendly that we encountered…lots of smiles and hellos and went above and beyond to make sure they helped in any way they could, everything was very clean! The room was comfortable and couldn’t hear any sounds from other rooms The pool was kinda small and crowded and loud at times but it was not the hotel’s fault kids were screaming at the top of their lungs and jumping into the pool

The fire pit was wonderful the first night…the second night it was taken over the whole night by a group so we went and sat elsewhere outside Would be nice to maybe have one more fire pit as the other group in the other seating area with us kept commenting they wished there was room at the fire fit too The free breakfast was great and we took advantage of that both days Also free coffee and tea 24/7! Overall I would really recommend a stay here Shoutout to the lady who was working later at night 7/14 and 7/15 wish I got her name but she was so nice and always full of smiles Also the 2 young gentlemen working the morning of 7/15!

I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and would highly recommend staying here versus a chain hotel This place is great for fisherman, they have an easy pull through driveway for your boat and a deep freezer for your fish The rooms are exceptionally clean and have up to 4 bed rooms

The patio out back is a nice gathering place for your group The owners are great people and are very accommodating, they even provide breakfast sandwiches for the fishermen that leave before breakfast is served!

Kelly Yeager

Fabulous!!! CLEAN!! Rooms spacious Paige and husband very nice and accommodating Unfortunately we could not partake in breakfast due to getting on lake by 0530 to get fishing in

Price reasonable Great location Nice gardens, front porch, back deck, and common area Pillows in room were comfortable Hope to stay here again next year!!!Thank you

The staff was friendly and the hotel was very well maintained The pool was very small and the sliding barn door for the bathroom was weird and allowed for virtually no privacy for someone using the bathroom It was not a good setup for a family with teenagers

Overall, it’s a nice hotel

Satinder Sethi

I dont recommend this hotel to anybody My experience at the hotel was horrible Their breakfast was not good at all, the juice machine was out of order, and the toaster was not working

One day, we left in the morning and when we came back our room was exactly the same The housekeepers did not even come to our room, we did not have towel, body wash, and toilet paper We had to go to front desk and tell them about it They said they probably forgot about our room which I don’t think is a good excuse because I did not pay $330 for 2 nights to sleep in dirty bed So whatever you do, DO NOT stay at this hotel

Calin Calabrese

We had a wonderful stay during avisit to family Bri at night was friendly and sweet with our son austin who would instantly go from being tired to happy and smiling when they interacted Excellent location, clean and the breakfast was perfect

Can’t beat eggs, meat, waffles and cereal each day! Rooms were clean and comfortable We’ll defiantly return
