We stayed in the Presidential Suite on a weekend getaway Pros: the staff was nice, the huge double spa bathtub was luxurious and definitely the best part of the room, two TVs (one in the living area, one in the bedroom), quiet at night, excellent full hot breakfast buffet Cons: decorations and furniture dated & worn (like some stains on chairs/couches), the room is above the weight room so that’s pretty noisy early in the morning, and fireplace was nice but small and the plug in kind (not built into the room)

Good for a one night stay, but would probably pick something more new on our next trip

Affordable Tax

The parking lot was clean, walks all clean and cared for, full breakfast with eggs, ham, potatoes, yogurt, juices, cereals, oatmeal, waffles, etc Large indoor pool, staff friendly and pleasant Bed was comfy enough

Was a motel-style facility rather than a hotel I’d say it is a 25 star hotel rather than a 3 Great for families Was fairly quite The room was vacuumed and cleaned with clean sheets Dusty corners and edges in the room but overall clean and well maintained If you want a little higher end place you could consider Holiday Inn at the north end of Logan This place was just fine, the wife is a bit picky or stuff about it and wouldn’t want to stay here again but I was just fine

Nadia Fontecchio

I stayed in the presidential suite from 01/29-01/31Positives: Breakfast was great, room had a nice large bath tub, and over all was a quiet motel Wasn’t disturbed by other people late at night/early morning

Cons: Cleanliness When I got there it overall didn’t look up to par with other hotels I’ve been to There was a layer of dust all around the edges of the room where the carpet met the baseboards One of the doors to the bathroom was broken and difficult to shut and open There was also trash around corners, peaking out from dressers, and just under the skirt of the bed I was constantly finding new trash during my stay (also thanks to my cat) I was also concerned to find an e-cigarette cartridge right under the bed poking out Thankfully we caught it before our cat could try to ingest it, but overall could be a concern for pets/small children staying in rooms that don’t prioritize cleanliness Lots of choking hazards

It’s a comfortable and charming hotel with a pretty good breakfast However, the shower was very disappointing I am 5’10” and the shower head only come up to my shoulders which would be fine if the tub drained well enough so that my feet weren’t soaking in my dirty shower water

I also found a crusty bit of what I hope is food on my blanket Unfortunately, I noticed it the morning after I slept in it On top of that, I found a hair that doesn’t belong to me or anyone in the room right next to the ice bucket and cups

Jessica Staheli

After driving for 7 hours straight and finally arriving at 3am, it was very nice to be met with a smiling face and positive attitude from Daniel at the front desk He is so kind, attentive, helpful, 100% professional, and provided OUTSTANDING customer service Running on very little sleep and far too much caffeine, I asked him some pretty silly questions

He was super helpful and didn’t make fun of me even though I gave him plenty of opportunities to do so He has impressed me more than any front desk attendant/associate I’ve ever met His kindness is unparalleled and his professionalism is nothing short of amazing Thank you for making our stay here so wonderful and stress-free! If anyone deserves a raise, it’s Daniel! I’ll be contacting his supervisor and the corporate office to give him the highest praise he deserves 🖤 Thanks Daniel!

Mark Shepard

Stayed here 6/17/22Nick at the front desk was beyond cool and had a great personalityThe staff let me and the kids swim in the outdoor pool a little past the closing time of 11pm (yes, 11pm)

Those 3 things really impressed usWe’ll be heading back thru Utah soon and will make a point of staying hereThanks for the memories

By far one of the most wonderful nights of sleep ever At check in I was greeted by some very friendly staff They made sure I felt right at home! This hotel has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere! The room was very clean and the housekeeping was awesome helping me with some requests I had

Breakfast staff was also wonderful The food was just what I needed after a great nights rest The pool is also very impressive If you are looking for an amazing place to stay at I highly recommend this hotel

Debbi Lund

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel!! We were looking for a relaxing extended getaway for my husband, myself & our two dogs The staff was so accommodating & helped make our stay perfect The desk employees, Leilani, Nick, Jessica, & Addison, just to name a few, were all very friendly and so helpful

They let us switch to one of the nicest rooms in the hotel which allowed us more space & a beautiful view of the mountains The maids made sure we weren’t lacking for anything in our rooms, which were clean & well taken care of The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, with a variety of hot & cold foods to choose from The pool & workout room were very well kept & clean All of the staff was so willing to help us with anything & also so welcoming to our two small dogs Our only disappointment was that the jets in the jacuzzi weren’t working & they were waiting on parts We will definitely make this hotel our “getaway” place & plan on returning again Thanks to everyone there for making our stay perfect!

Kenan Powell

Pretty nice little hotel The room was clean The room was good size for the value

The property is very nice All the plants were in bloom which made a nice first impression The desk staff were very detail oriented and friendly

The room was nice with lots of thoughtful details, including a tray that could be used to bring up breakfast from the self serve areaCoffee and tea were available in the lobby all day The lobby furniture was nice and arranged so you could sit and chat with friends without taking over the entire flow of the spaceThe included breakfast was good The menu was a little different each day which was nice since we were there for three nights

Oscar Gilroy

Would give this 45 stars if I could – would be perfect for solo travelers, but not the best for families due to the room design The hotel is ideally located (safe neighborhood for jogging, lots of shops nearby) new construction, and clean

We had a mountain view room which was as promised Jennifer at the front desk was very friendly and responsive too – we had multiple special requests due to our large family and she accommodated them cheerfully and promptly The pool was clean and had tons of natural light Breakfast area was also neat and continuously stockedAs alluded, the room design had some flaws that reduced our enjoyment We reserved a two-queen-beds room It was a very dark and narrow room (other Springfield Suites have also had this design) with heavy, mostly glass doors for (separate) toilet and showers – this meant our kids needed help to open and close them, and the doors let all the noise and light into the room while others tried to sleep It’s a strange design choice that a lot of newer hotels are adopting Obviously not this particular location’s management’s fault, but something to bear in mind if traveling with others

George Lewis

Shower has a shower head at the usual location, and it has two shower heads at waist level Feels great on the backWe called for an extra blanket, expecting to have it within an hour or so

Hotel staff brought it in about two minutes! The breakfast buffet had really good sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and a make-it-yourself-so-it’s-just-the-way-you-want-it waffle station We are very pleased, and we’ll absolutely stay here again

The rooms are amazing!! The pool is amazing! And what I noticed the most was how amazing the front desk receptionist Ryan was He was slammed with people checking in and how composed he was He is a true gem of an employee for this franchise

We definitely will be coming back because of the 5 star service he provided! Ryan if you see this !! Keep up the good work!! And thank you for being a patient level headed man !

Jonathan Baker

The help at the front desk was quick, courteous and very helpful We needed an extra sheet and blanket and they were able to accommodate us willing and quickly The rooms are in good condition and worked for our needs

The room darkening blinds helped block the light from the parking lot My wife went to the hot tub and it was crazy busy, but that’s to be expected when there are so many guests

Denise Montero

Good location to anything and everything in LoganStaff is friendly and welcomingRooms are clean and comfortable

If you get a room facing main street, it can be very noisy with car traffic (get a room overlooking parking lot)

We scheduled our wedding ceremony (outside) and reception to be held on July 10th The reservation was made in November of 2021 with a woman who was handling all of the contracts She mentioned that she would be moving & no longer working there by our wedding date but assured us that the owner of the property (John) would take care of us

The communication from that point on was not good at all We scheduled a walk through & a quick rehearsal the night before the wedding but getting any response from John was like pulling teeth He acted very irritated about everythingThe worst part was on our actual wedding day We arrived and the ceremony space wasn’t set up He wouldn’t allow any of our helpers to do anything to expedite that either Our caterers, our wedding party/assistants were spoken to in a very condescending way He was outright rude to our clean up people after we had left the venue & raised his voice at them about if they didn’t get everything cleaned up on time and how much he was going to charge us for over using our time Mind you – this was on a Sunday In Logan With no other events happening And he had the audacity to yell at the people cleaning up our spaceWhen our helpers would ask a question or attempt to clarify something with him – he was always rude & incredibly condescending I would not ever suggest working with him for any reason thereThe venue is beautiful & thankfully our wedding planners/guests didn’t tell us how rude he was & how bad their experience was in trying to talk with him until after the reception was over Its unfortunate to have such a gorgeous place be ran by such an unprofessional person

Katie Sims

I had my wedding dinner/reception at this location The florist (Fleur), also the venue owners wife, did not set up as paid to do This was a shock to show up to when we finished with the ceremony

The venue owner was seemingly flustered by this and many of the tables were not set up by him (cake table, guest book table, etc) All while the guests are showing up to the venue We did a walk through earlier that week, so expectations were set and obvious what was wanted The owner and cake lady ended up dropping the cake, as well It was a little bit of a hot mess, but as it was my wedding day, I cannot be too upset Communication and follow-through are lacking The owner definitely tried to make up for this throughout the night, but with a tight timeline there was not much that could be done to make up for the lost time and set up

Jeffrey Peterson

Great experience at The Riter Mansion Held an afternoon (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) wedding luncheon for my son and his new wife Easily accommodated the 110 guests

Flexible enough to decorate and arrange how you would like Kate, who was available during the event, made sure everything worked smooth including the wireless mic, the audio/video equipment, the lights, etc Very accommodating with answering all the questions we had and allowing us to come a couple times prior to measure and walk-through the facility One negative is the lack of onsite parking but there is plenty of parking across the street and even with the snowy weather I didn’t hear any complaints about having to cross the street Would recommend they update their website but other than that would definitely recommend for a wedding luncheon or reception

We stayed here several days and nights It was mostly clean when we checked inAt time of check in we had to wait several

minutes as our door was being serviced, there were dead bugs in and around sink During our stay, our rooms were never cleaned, fire alarm was set off and had to be outside in the cold Didn’t get our jacket or vehicle keys It was also very noisy, can hear people in the hallThe view is beautiful though The employees were good and helpful Unaure if I will be back again but its a possibility

victor vallin

David is amazing He’s the graveyard person and honestly I’ve never seen anyone at a hotel be so happy, and attentive He’s really on the ball, and honestly one of your greater employees

Not talking down on others because I haven’t met them, but I travel a lot and it’s HARD to find good help, or great service And he was both of those and more NATURALLY!

abby davis

The location feels very getto and dark My dad worried all night thinking someone might smash his windows on his vehicle The front desk lady was super sweet, but was asking a lot of questions

She was super helpful though At one point she asked why we had the family room for 2 people booked and said we should’ve booked a regular room with 2 beds, that it was a waste when there are more beds then people because the maids have to clean morebut there wasn’t any available regular room with 2 beds, we tried to switch The family room is a good size, but they gave us more then a half used roll of toilet paper (there was no back up roll, if there were more then 2 of us in the room we would have ran out of toilet paper), and there were 2 tissues in the tissue box They were super stingy on the supplies they provided our room with The hotel is old and out of date If you can’t walk stairs don’t book a room, there is no elevator Sadly the tub was the nicest part of our room

This place is wonderful! The staff are helpful and courteous, the rooms are good, the breakfast is amazing, there are many stores and restaurants nearby The pool is small, but fun

It is by FAR FAR better than Days Inn- the other Wyndham Resort in Logan Even if it’s more out of your way, it is worth it to drive the extra few minutes, than to stay at the gross Days Inn, and their rude staff! Believe me!

Dale Nelson

The hotel and the room was really nice and the staff was awesome The hotel was very clean, but I gave it 4 stars because the room was very warm and the AC controller was not working to cool the room down It did seem like there were things broken in the lobby too

But, the bed was comfortable and I couldn’t hear anyone else, it was nice and quiet

Laura B

Room smelled like pet urine pretty severely (Room 306 needs a professional carpet cleaning and to be doused in pet odor eliminator) When we first checked in the cleaning staff had been through and it definitely smelled like deodorizer had been sprayed to try and mask the smell Couldn’t quite figure out what the smell was and since it was a 1 night stay decided to try and deal with it

As the evening progressed we started to notice the smell more and more and realized it was definitely the smell of urine in the living room area of the suite During the night I woke up several times noticing the smell (we kept the door closed to the “living room” where the smell origins from) When we left in the morning the smell had gotten so strong I literally dry heaved as we walked through that portion of the room to leave In hindsight I wish we would have immediately requested a different room as the stay ended up quite miserable

This hotel is truly excellent The big water slide (really big, 2 stories) was closed and the hotel went out of their way to contact us before our trip so we could make other plans if we wanted The staff was very helpful and friendly before and during our stay

The hot breakfast was good including eggs on the weekend (Saturday morning) and biscuits and gravy (Sunday morning) Every morning there was a choice of blueberry or regular waffles Be sure to let the little waffles cook a little bit extra time🙂 I believe our “queen size” beds were actually double beds in my opinion of size

Dave Watson

We have never been here before and my boy wanted to go to a place with a pool and a slide Comfort Inn checked the boxes so we booked it The pool was under construction, but that was only a problem once

The only problem we had was the chirping fire alarm outside our floorThe breakfast was pretty good One lady did all the work and she did an excellent job! Unfortunately, they didn’t give her much help, so at the end the garbage were overflowing To the manager: she needs a raise and some help!We will definitely be back again! I hope they change the fire alarm battery, or I will be changing it myself

Martin Romanick

Just stayed there for a week Awesome place to stay The breakfast in the morning was very good

Lots to choose from Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful The housekeeping staff though, WOW, they work there butts off there They do a wonderful job of changing over the rooms and making them very nice GREAT JOB!!!! I would stay there again, thats for sure

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT WORKING A/C IN SUMMER!!!!So , to put this in perspective, we are out side working on August 3-4, and it’s hot!! So excited to come to my favorite hotel!! Oh the memories from being a child are all here! Sunrise sandwiches, Homecoming Football…… I’m trying to set the stage that I love it here!!My biggest thing, I don’t think I will come back until they have A/C They advertise that they do, and have even put instructions on how to make it work I have a picture of 6:00am, yes the thermostat still reads 80!

I have been trying to sleep in a room that is just as hot as it is outside!! Why would you put less than 10 guests on the top floor, on the hottest side of the building???? I get that the breakfast suite is up here…… But I would have walked to it, to be able to actually get some sleep!!

Travis Meyers

We came to USU to start our son for college this year and we decided to stay on campus at the University inn for a night after we moved him into his dormWe chose the place because of the good reviews, location, and cost of the room for a nightCheck-in was fine, got to the room and we were immediately greeted with a funky smell in the room

Can’t quite put my finger on the smell, but it was pungentUpon checking the bed for critters and any other friends that we always do before setting up the room, we found a used bottle of personal lubricant behind the mattress from a previous guest, disgusting I took the bottle to the front desk and he didn’t seem bothered by itUpon further inspection of the room, the pull out hide a bed located in the couch had only a mattress pad on it, no sheets, no blanket, but plenty of dirt, grime, and hair from another guest Housekeeping was great to come and switch out the problem, but they acted annoyed, not with us, but seemingly with the other housekeeping staff that didn’t do their jobThe final straw, where we decided to leave and find another hotel not even an hour into our check-in, was when I went to the restroom to shower, shook out the floor towel that hangs on the tub side of the shower, and out came a spider about the size of a 50 cent piece, I think it was a wolf spider, but not certainWe demanded a refund, which is pending, left and went to Springhill suites down the road Much much better, see that reviewWe will never stay at University inn again I’d give zero stars if I could

Maryanne Steingold

We stayed 2 days The first was very pleasant The second night we did not sleep at all

A newborn was put in the room right next door rather than in a room at the end of the hall with a space between rooms Crying when we returned from our outing in the evening, continuous crying all night long, crying in the morning Sleep was not an option

Really nice little place I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I would like it Themed rooms but not over the top

REALLY delicious breakfast Needs new TV Wish the night staff was a little more attentive they could use hospitality lessons The rooms are aged but I acknowledge that this keeps the price down BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW NEEDS better lighting at night with entry showing you how to get back in I almost fell twice I would Absolutely stay here again and I have already mentioned it to friends to give it a try

I love the outside and history of B&B It is very unique Providence is a cute city! The themed rooms are fun to experience

The room we stayed in was big and decorated nicely This is a historic building and the room had that same feel The King size bed was beautiful and comfortable The only issue is on one side of the bed the air deflated It is a sleep number bed My husband had to keep filling it My side was comfortable The pillows in the bed need to be replaced They were lumpy and some are very flat We brought our own, so that was not an issue for us The other problem is the heater didn’t turn on We called the front desk and we were brought a couple of space heaters They kept the room warm We appreciated having them The jetted tub was amazing! It was nice to have that in the room The bathroom was very nice The big shower with double shower heads was great! We enjoyed having a fireplace in our room Very cozy! The breakfast was okay Overall we enjoyed our stay! It was a nice and relaxing getaway in a beautiful and historic old church!

We thought it would be fun to try something different It’s such a cute idea to turn an old church into some themed rooms The staff was nice

The breakfast was nice But the cleanliness really got me There was hair everywhere The mirrors had guck all over them It was like someone was staying in the room for a week and left and housekeeping made the bed and took out the trash I really didn’t sleep well There’s also mold in the shower Old flower petals shoved under the bed If housekeeping did a better job and cared for the rooms, it would be a totally different experience Super bummed

This is now “La Quinta”, not Crystal Inn Worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel Front desk girl was always rude, acted like she was put out everytime she had to do anything

She never made us feel welcome Never greeted us with a welcoming attitude or even smiled Our room key would only work 1 time and then we would have to get it fixed The hot tub was broken There were no towels in the pool area and it was filthy The phone didn’t work in our room Hallways were dirty and smelled like a wet dog Our sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed We were guests for 2 weeks and it was like this the whole time When it came time to check out we were given an unreasonable amount of time to collect our belongings We were trying to stay another night but were told we couldn’t I asked them why and was told “I don’t know” and they called the cops to escort us out We didn’t have enough time to get all of our things and had to come back the next day and then we were told we had to have the police with us if we wanted any of our things I will never stay at La Quinta again

I had stayed here at least once a month since December First stay way great but since then it’s been frustrating They have had internet problems and their direct tv hasn’t worked

The poor front staff aren’t able to help and I feel for them It’s not their fault We came at first for the water slide but that’s not worth the other headaches as I cannot work while there We will be staying elsewhere

Beds were really comfy, room was clean bathroom was clean with plenty of warm water for showers! I was kind of skeptical about the hotel when I first saw the lobby and pool but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the room! Staff was polite and helped a lot! The breakfast and dinner were pretty good for being free! Overall great experience!!! I would definitely recommend it and stay here again next time we go to logan!!
