We had a function with our daughter who attends LCU This was close to campus and reasonably priced Pamela Perez was amazing in her duties

I think she works around the clock because every time we came down stairs she was on the front desk My dad needed ice and the ONLY working ice machine was on the third floor and she went up there and got him some ice to go with his breakfastShe went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great oneThe room was clean and tidy, but you could tell it was in need of owners doing some updates Overall the five stars are for Pamela and her staff who made our trip great

DIRTY! I checked in and noticed the carpets looked dirty I ignored it because it was a last minute booking When I went to take a shower at 9 pm I noticed a big collection of hair over the drain cover

I called to complain but the manager was not there The man at the front desk called the manager in the morning and she told him that since I had waited so long to report it there was nothing they could do and that since I booked on Priceline they could not offer me a discount It was disgusting The floors were dirty The bathroom floor had a straight pin on it with a bright pink ball head You could tell it had not been swept The hair on the drain was the last straw Also, the stairwell looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months I’m very disappointed

The hotel looks a lot better online than reality The property has deferred maintenance and cleanliness is questionable We arrived late, past midnight

It was loud with people drinking in the lobby and partying I asked the front desk hostess if there was a curfew for noise and she said no For $200+ a night, this place is overpriced and overrated Also, the couch/bed was disgusting It looked like a cat had clawed the fabric It was old and filthy Room 307

I have a family of 5, so Home2Suites is one of our go-to Hilton hotels since everyone can sleep comfortably, but we will not be staying here again This hotel is in extreme need of a deep clean It was filthy! The floors in the common areas (lobby, elevators, hallways) looked like they had not been mopped or vacuumed in weeks

The tiles in front of the 4th floor elevator are loose and in need of professional repair Tables in the lobby that are used for breakfast and lounging appear to never be wiped down These are the “easy” areas to clean to make guests feel comfortable about their stay The smells in the elevators and rooms also don’t help Multiple people in our group stated their room smelled like dirty feet This is a pet friendly hotel and we saw multiple dogs so I am sure that did not help the smell and cleanlinessThe pool and outdoor area were also dirty They have tables and chairs but they were dirty and trash was laying around We also had to ask multiple times for towels to be brought out to the towel rack for the kidsLastly, the rooms are worn down and in need of remodel Outside of the smell, the bathroom door has markings all over it from people trying to get it to slide open and towels need to be replaced Floors needed vacuumingSad for this experience as we have stayed at other Home2Suites with great luck!

Jamey Johnston

This Home2 didn’t seem quite as nice/well maintained as others I have visited, but not bad by any stretch Enough to ding it one star Rated service 5 but really that’s just an ‘NA’ this trip

There was also a slight smell I was a bit sensitive to when I got there, I think cleaning product of some kind, and I stopped noticing it after an hour or so Not a real issue, just mentioning it for those that might be concerned about that

The room was not secured because the sliding door was not locked and the house keepers apparently didn’t check it Then room service did not respect the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and entered the room Received a call asking if we were staying another night and had to inform them we were checking out on Saturday

Pool and hot tub were great

I stayed here one night, after flying in to Lubbock I was sleep deprived, so I appreciated how quiet it was I was able to catch up on some of the sleep I had lost recently

Maybe I just got lucky about what room I was given, but it does seem as if the hotel is solidly built, so the quiet may have been partly due to that Breakfast, while not included, was good I especially appreciated how crispy the bacon was I wish the policy related to the items in the gift shop (I think that’s what they call it) had been clearer Apparently, the bottled water is complimentary but the other drinks, sitting next to the bottled water, are not That’s fine, if so, but I just wish there were something to make it clearer, perhaps a label

hockeypaul33

So the staff The staff are the only redeeming quality of the hotel I need to start here

Ryan, Xavier, and Matt did a lot to help make it better but overall this property has a ton of issuesOne of my largest pet peeves is paying for a room and the room won’t allow you to have the ambient noise of running the fan on “constant” The ac units have the capacity to, but the hotel management decided to disable this I stay in Hilton garden inns all over the US and this is the first one who is trying to be a mizer and not allow you to be comfortableSo that being said when the ac cycles, it wakes me up So I finally decided to just keep the fan on to try and sleep and my room one morning was 61, and the other day it was 59 This is unacceptable They tried to move me rooms and fix it but had the same issue They blamed it on the unit when it’s just the ownership/management The toilet in the room also wasn’t installed properly and would rock and make a loud noise on dismountThe second room they gave me, door wouldn’t close or lock properly Had to slam it with all my might just to have it secure, but couldn’t actually put on the safety lock This is also unacceptable Now this room whoever did the shower pan did a poor job The grout is coming up, the shower had that feeling of not being hard and was afraid grout or tile would cut the bottom of my feetIt was clean enough Lobby was clean Everyone was super nice and I appreciate thatThe restaurant also was terrible The chef is apparently allergic to salt and pepper Steak #1 was overcooked and the second tasted like nothing And was 29 dollarsOverall I will never stay at this property again I’ll let you make your own opinion of you should

Kylie S

I’ve stayed here probably 20 times for work over the past 5 years, and overall it’s one of the better choices in Lubbock, but this property needs some deep cleaning done I know housekeepers work hard for little money, but they seem to need better training to have an eye for the details Also, the hard flooring in the rooms needs replaced

It looks like a coating was applied to it and it’s now peeling off It looks terribleDuring this stay, all of the trash cans in the common areas were overflowing Even the tiny trash can on the coffee bar couldn’t hold any more creamer cups The front desk guys could contribute by gathering a little trash instead of standing there all evening

Called in late night on a road trip Receptionist was extremely helpful, super nice, very understanding and got us all set up super quick and easy Rooms were nice and clean, need a little basic updating but nothing major

Everything worked and was clean Morning breakfast was your standard continental The breakfast person was SUPER friendly and was so nice to make us fresh delicious texas shaped waffles which the kids loved We checked in late and left early to continue on our way so we didn’t get to try any of the other ammentities but the professional and friendly service was exceptional

Richard key

The pool wasn’t so bad and neither was the housekeepers But when it comes to the front desk, the manager is flat out rude as hell You make one inquiry and she will catch am attitude so quick that it literally ruins the whole experience

Seems to be a common occurrence with some of the older staff here! But great job to Brittany and the other night shift crew, ya’ll were truly awesome And so other than the staff that was unpleasant and the rust stains in the bathtub which I should’ve pointed out wasn’t the most horrible stay! Aint got nothing compared to the Hawthorne suites though!

Shadow Wolf

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel experience, this is a solid choice for the area We stayed as a family in an accessible room for one of our membersThe staff were friendly and welcoming

The room was spacious enough for some late night board games and for a power chair to navigate The free breakfast, served by Joe the Breakfast Ambassador, was a definite highlight: a warm smile and laugh as he served us hot wafflesThere were some issues with room cleanliness when we checked in, but the staff responded in a reasonable manner to deal with the problemsPlan to stay here with the expectation that it’s not a fancy hotel, but a great place to start and end your day in Lubbock Happy travels!

I came to Lubbock to see a medical specialist and needed a room for the night They were very accommodating, very polite, and the price was very goodMy room looked recently remodeled, bed felt good and fresh, not saggy like many places

Pillows were very thick and full Everything was clean and nice, desk in the room was a generous large L shaped, enough to where you can break out the laptop, paperwork, and do real work on it like a home officeVery quiet, slept well, actually too well and missed breakfast so I can’t comment on much except anything except the coffee which was a good house blendDid I mention quiet? Unlike other hotels, no housekeeper banging on the door at 8:30 and a very generous noon checkout time! If you are on a trip and work weird hours, this is the place to goOverall, it was a better experience than I have had at much more expensive holiday inns By far it’s the best Days Inn I have been to, and the best sleep I have had in Lubbock so far I look forward to coming back again

MayANN O’ Brien

The general manager at the front desk a woman whose last name is Garcia was very rude Was very loud and argumentative when I asked her questions at check in No customer service or hospitality experience at all!!! Worst worst ever

Very derogatory and discriminatory Also I have yet to receive my deposit of 150 That was not told to us when we made the reservations initially They told us we won’t get a deposit until the check the room out and made sure everything was in check Like WTH? What kind of guest service is that? In addition the hallway and elevator stunk of weed Our room floor has crumbs and I took a picture I will not stay here again Also when I asked for clean wash towels on another day, they said they ran out Do not stay here I won’t recommend it Just don’t Helping others make the right decision I wished I didn’t have to give them a star at all

Courtney Danner

My mom and our family was going through and my mom and her family always stay there because it’s usually good Unfortunately the service was horrible and none of the employees knew how to run the front desk She booked two rooms through Expedia, and they didn’t have the rooms she needed

They gave her double rooms instead of the suites she booked They did not give her any type of refund and charged her another $100 for a deposit They kept telling her that they didn’t know what they could do for her No one in that place knew how to even get us rooms because they didn’t have the rooms she booked She still doesn’t have any kind of refund and continue to make her wait on the phone for a manager that never shows up Don’t stay here! Useless staff and poor management(if there even is management)

Great place to stay on our way back from Colorado Hotel is very clean and easy to access and lots of food places near as well Plenty of places for our pup to use to potty as well

They had a hot breakfast but we didn’t have to time before we had to leave to try it My only con was whoever was upstairs from us was jumping rope or something who knows what for ever from like 7-8 then 11-12 and it was very loud so the ceilings are kind of thin We requested first floor but next time I’d definitely request top floor Oh and the front desk staff were amazing and super helpful! We would stay again for sure

John Hoff

Very clean hotel and the staff has been very nice I appreciate some of the small things they think about like a shower head that’s actually high enough (above your head) and an air guard next to the air conditioner so it doesn’t blow directly on your legs at nightThe indoor pool was nice but could have been a little warmer

I personally like to sit in a spa at hotels after a long drive and unfortunately this one does not have a spa so that was one downsideIt’s also next to lots of food and shopping in the areaOverall experience was very good and I would stay here again

Ana

It was One of the most Unaccommodating hotels we’ve stayed at If traveling for work this is not your go toStarted with Young lady at checkin, she seemed so un willing to help out not just us but the other people in front who were asking for simple items

Room- they were pretty decent couple things the refrigerator was tiny no fridge, cabinet doors were broken and the ac didn’t cool , the restroom doesn’t have a ventNo coffee in the lobby like all hotels we’ve stayed at They keep it locked up in the breakfast room Also its coffee out of a dispensing machine low qualityAs this is a convenient item to have for men leaving to work early Since most will leave before breakfast is servedBreakfast was also one of the worst we had, very minimal items and low quality Old apples n orangesThe snacks and food they have to sell are also overpriced to say a small bag that cost 50cents at Walmart is 200 thereAlso no outside places to sit other than bench by entrance so if you’re staying for long periods this is something to considerLobby n pool, gym everything downstairs was warm to a point of feeling muggy Only plus is it’s newer but not worth it to have all the inconvenienceWe booked for 6 nights , yet we will continue to be in town for sometime longer but will be staying elsewhereWe do not recommend this place

It’s a nice place with random holes in their kit No microwaves in rooms, limits on room AC, no free breakfast (slightly offset by a $15 credit), well stocked on medicine and candy bars, but don’t have any protein options, salads, or sandwichesBut the place is pretty nice

Service is good, food at the restaurant is phenomenal (pricey though) Good happy hour drink special at the bar Rooms are nice Interior is nice and cleanThe place has good bones, but it’s like it’s managed by someone who used to run a Michelin star restaurant but never stayed in enough hotels to know what the basic expectations are It’s so weird These things are so easy to fix too

Amanda Box

This was our first stay at this hotel and it will now be our go to hotel in Lubbock The rooms were clean and comfortable and the lobby was inviting We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was unexpectedly delicious

By far the best thing was the staff After 2 years of encountering mostly indifferent service and staffing issues as we travel, the friendliness and enthusiasm here made our stay exceptional Attentive and efficient service can make all the difference

Ires Rios

Always a great stay Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! Bar area always clean comforting and good cocktails! Everytime we come to Lubbock our stay is definitely here It is a little noisy at night, I’m guessing bar area , but I don’t mind it ,I feel like every place with a bar has to have some noise ,says people are having a good time! what are you suppose to do? Pool area warm and great! Thank you to the staff for always being so good to us!

Initially when I entered, it smelled like cigarettes because a worker was smoking by the entrance door outside I had to wait an hour to get checked in due to the hotel’s policy The room was initially all right, but a certain amount of dust and unknown particles/items like condoms and masks were found around the room

Sheets and towels had stains Breakfast was limited but was the only thing I enjoyed out of the whole stay Over the course of a three-day stay, my room was never cleaned, even after I had explicitly requested that it would be cleaned in the afternoon of the second day: every staff member was dismissive and told me a different story as to why the room wasn’t cleaned (this represents poor management) When all of this was brought up to the front desk, I was told to wait for the manager but it was too late because I had to catch a flight Please do better!

Stacy Sauls

When we arrived the room was filthy THere was blood on the lamp shade and on the bedding The floor was not vacuumed and there was a medical syringe on the floor as well

The carpet was torn and the room did not look clean at all When we pulled back the bedding the beds looked to have had dirty sheets We discretely confronted the hotel staff and they told us they were sorry and to grab some snacks and they would send housekeeping up to re-clean the room No one came to clean and we slept in the dirty room Due to it being graduation weekend at Tech we were stuck in the dirty space We checked out and let the front desk know they were going to inquire for us to stay another night at a discount or discount the room we had since it was so dirty We were notified of the room availability but for almost $300 for 1 night Since we had a not-so-great experience, we drove an hour away for night number 2 There were not any discounts given or refunds I have over 10 pictures of the state of the room I would not recommend this place to anyone The staff we spoke to were kind and great The hotel was dirty and lacked management in my opinion

Amanda McDonnell

The cleanliness of the hotel itself was great However, the pool and hot tub were dirty and no drinks were allowed in the pool area or in the gym I rented a king suite but didn’t know it would be a handicap suite

That being said there room was nice and spacious by the bathroom needed some work The shower head was too low and the water pressure was low as well The breakfast was good, had many options to choose from Overall it was an ok stay I would stay here again just in a non handicap room

This hotel was great! Very clean, the staff was accommodating and very friendly The beds were comfortable, they have a laundry room and the breakfast was excellent I ended up here for a week and a half with a family member right down the road in the hospital

The staff worked with us and was able to extend my stay 3 different times to be able to stay close to the hospital for as long as I needed I definitely recommend this hotel!

Brenda Hiler

We have been traveling for 2 weeks and this was our on-the-way-home one night stay I have to say, it was worth it as it was clean, comfortable, classy, and easily accessible The breakfast was wonderful and the evening at the bar was most pleasant

Impressive to support the local community and Texas Tech I have to say the receptionist at the desk had the best attitude and manners of any hotel I have ever stayed I don’t go to Lubbock often, but when I do, I will certainly stay here again

We stayed for one night! Loved everything about it The front desk ladies when I check in were very kind and helpful Enjoyed the pool and the cute little rooms

Breakfast was very delicious! The only problem I had was the young front desk lady who was on her phone talking and didn’t seem to want to help me But overall it was a wonderful stay Would stay again!

Not a good experience, avoid if you can My room was dirty; the carpets were stained, the toilet was not clean, and the mirror had streaks The hallway carpets are stained and filthy on the second floor

Breakfast is not at 6 am, but rather they start making it at 6am It wasn’t set up completely until 6:40 The guy setting up breakfast wasn’t wearing gloves When I finally got access to sausage and eggs, they were cold Awful I will not be using this hotel again

T Smolar

This was the first hotel I’ve had require a $100 hold on my account for incidentals because I’d paid with a credit card It took about 24 hours after check out for the hold to be releasedWe stayed for 2 nights, and after the first night, maid service removed the 3 wet towels but not the wash cloths, then only replaced 2 of the towels

They did take and replace the floor towel They did not provide more shampoo, conditioner, or lotion even though the empty bottles were in the trash, which they’d removed and replaced the bag There was never any hand soap in our room, but I’d noticed hand soap on the maid’s cartAt breakfast the first morning (Sunday), the clerk at the front desk was also responsible for the upkeep of the breakfast area, including replacing items that had run out At one point I’d offered to stock the yogurt because she had customers waiting at the front desk to check out Being that Sunday is a busy morning for hotels, you’d expect there to be more help 🤔Monday morning, when it was much less busy, there were 2 people cleaning up the breakfast area and 2 clerks at the front desk 🤷‍♀️ Breakfast was the same both days with the hot choices being sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage links, scrambled eggs, and waffles Juice is apple and orange They offered oatmeal, cocoa and coffee, toast, bagels, mini powdered and chocolate doughnuts, and mini muffinsThe beds are firm and the sheets tucked VERY tight I’d attempted to lower the temp in the room at approximately 3:30 pm (it was set to 81 and outdoor temps were in the mid to upper 90s), but it didn’t reach the desired 72 until the next afternoonThe fridge and microwave were tucked away in the far corner of the room on the other side of the closet rather than closer to the door The fridge did keep our drinks coldThe staff was very friendly and mindful to greet you when they saw you The pool was a nice temp, and the hot tub was relaxing It would be nice if the pool area opened before 10 am since checkout is at 11

You get what you pay for but the staff really makes up for anything the hotel may lackManagement might be a bit of a stickler, thoughETA: If your main concern is a comfortable bed, this is the place for a good bed

I’ve stayed in too many hotels for work and this place is really up there with some of the hotels that cost twice as much as far as mattress goes The linens were also great It was clear the hotel didn’t go cheap on the linensI brought my kids for swimming and they LOOOVED the pool Not sure if I’m the only one who notices color and smells of pools but this hotel also did a great job with pool cleanliness I had no problem letting my kids swim here It was nice to treat them to a hotel at a reasonable price at a place where the basics exceed expectationsClient atmosphere is also great and down to earth The front desk ladies are the sweetest and remembered me the second time I returnedWe are native to the area and will definitely be back as this is now our preferred hotel We really feel we’ve found a hidden gem

We stayed in 8/2022, 1 BR suite The room and grounds were clean and well kept There was kind of an odd funk in the air but nothing off putting

No elevator was a bit of a surprise, not a dealbreaker but a bit of an annoyance getting everything upstairsThere were blankets and pillows for the foldout bed but it was missing sheets The front desk readily provided them thoughThere were only 2 bath towels when we specifically had 3 guests The front desk gave us more bath towels but seemed really hung up on why we needed more towelsThe hot tub is supposed to be adults only but from what we could see this was not enforced Entitled parents used it as a private kiddie pool It was too bad because we could really have done with a soakWe didn’t get up in time for breakfast so no opinion there

Kelsey McBride

Beds weren’t very comfortable, air conditioner was squeaky and loud (but was very cold) and we called for extra pillows but they didn’t have any to give usBath spout was leaking badly and spraying water out the sideBreakfast was decent but the juice machine wasn’t working and when the gravy ran out, we were told they weren’t making anymore (there was still over an hour of breakfast time left)

Overall, it was fine for 1 overnight before an early morning appointment, but nothing to write home about Would probably stay again in a pinch

We checked in for a one night stay At 3:30 in the morning our room phone rang and woke us up I didn’t get to the phone in time as I was groggy and half asleep

But as soon as I sat up in bed I heard the beep of a key card at our door and our front door opened I had put the metal atop in place thankfully so the door did not open all the way I yelled and the door shut I got up and called the front lobby The girl said they were just doing a welfare check on us because our reservation showed us to arrive and check out same day and we hadn’t checked out yet A welfare check at 330 in the morning? Arrive and depart same day? This was very scary and could have ended up terribly had someone been able to walk in our room Have tried to contact a manager

I will never book another room at Staybridge Suites They insisted I smoked in my room and provided non-objective evidence – The room “smelled”, and they sent me a picture of a smoke detector wrapped in toilet paper, nothing proving the picture was from the exact room I stayed in I have never smoked a day in my life, so why in the first place would I choose to stay in a room that smelled of smoke with a very noticeable smoke detecter wrapped in nasty toilet paper above my bed? They charged me $250 which has been a headache disputing

How many other innocent guests do they swindle out of $250????

I am a diamond Hilton member and this is the worst experience I have ever had at a hampton inn Room was very outdated and dark Some of the towels were yellowed

You do not get little bottles of soap and a bar of soap They are refillable on the wall so you have no idea what anyone has done to them The ones for the sink are pretty high up for anyone short or a child The ones in the shower are on the middle wall instead of the end so I was hitting my elbows on them the whole time I washed my hair But the thing that pushed me over the edge and made me write this review is that despite having our sleeping sign on the door (Yes I checked it didn’t fall off) We were wakened to house keeping knocking on the door The dog went absolutely crazy barking and so we were then very awake We have a very long drive and now didn’t get enough sleep It was not check out time We had hours and we needed them My stay was over 200 for one night and it was a complete waste of money Also the pool and hot tub were out of service which we didn’t know either 2 stars at this point is probably being generous Extremely disappointed all around with this stay

I hold Hilton Gold Status and have stayed at numerous Hilton chains across the states Here’s my pro’s and con’s of this Hampton InnPRO:1) Digital key actually worked and was sent to my app ahead of the time I said I’d be checking in

2) Bed is comfortable3) Has a mini refrigerator4) Clean room and common areas5) AC gets as cold as you need itCON:1) No one manning the front counter I didn’t see anyone there the entire time Thankfully my digital key worked and I didn’t need to buy any food or drinks, which would have required me standing there waiting for someone to show up2) No one manning that front counter meant I did not receive my gold status free waters3) Room is a bit stuffy at first entrance4) Housekeeping or maintenance lingering outside my door at 830am with their Walky-talky at full volume People were holding full conversations over it Thanks for waking me up and not letting me fall back to sleep Now I get to drive 65 hours on less sleep than planned

Triple J’s

Hotel is nicely decorated and great location for lounging, etc Overall good experience however, it’s clear they are not staffed adequately We had a 4 day stay and our room was partially cleaned once

The Tesla chargers are locked and you have to constantly ask to gain access, it’s a wait Breakfast is a wait, and depending on staff you could be waiting a while The gift shop is hardly ever staffed and one morning we waited 20 minutes before someone walked in to pay I’d say hire more staffing

Robert Cocke

Start by saying I’ve stayed here multiple times First experience was horrible–room was Africa hot in the middle of winter and despite our best efforts, we sweated the night away in a suite and the staff was completely and totally unconcerned

but that was years ago Since, we’ve stayed a few times and have always enjoyed the hotel and amenities, the location and access the Tech, etc Prices always above average, but it’s supposed to the the flagship hotel in Lubbock, so that’s what you get The last visit, about 10 days ago, we stayed there in a double queen when my son was attending one of the Tech football camps Online prices ranged from $150 to just over $200 for a room I called and booked a room and was told we would get the “Tech visitor rate” which I (wrongly) assumed would be a discount off of the online rate from the Overton website Got the usual e mail from the Overton saying I had a booked reservation and I wrongly didn’t open it believing that the rate I had discussed with the Overton rep ($169) would be reflected or maybe be slightly discounted because of the “visitor” rate Got the bill$300 including the nightly rate of $269 for the room Not much I can do because I didn’t open the e mail, but I did call and was told essentially “That’s what happens and we adjust rates based on how busy we are” Cool Got it The Overton got their money Unfortunately, I will just have to adjust my future travel plans (I have season tickets) and stay at a location that doesn’t charge $300 for a pair of beds and two 8 ounce bottles of water

We have stayed here several times and have always had the best experience We always splurge for the preferred level rooms This time our stay was not good at all

The gift shop/coffee shop was not open most of our stay and if it was then there wasn’t anyone in there to check you out The restaurant has really gone down hill The food was cold and didn’t taste good at dinner Service at breakfast was so slow and there was only 3 tables with people At dinner they wouldn’t seat us in the restaurant and made us sit at the bar to eat and there was only 2 tables at this point Room service took a ridiculous amount of time to get At the swimming pool we had to call the front desk to ask for towels that they never brought out to us There was never any breakfast or snacks in the preferred level lounge and with the gift shop closed we couldn’t purchase snacks in there and the vending machine doesn’t even have prices listed So don’t waste the money on the upgrade It’s not worth it anymore The toilet in our room felt like it was about to fall over also So disappointed this place has gone down hill It was our favorite place to stay because the service used to be wonderful and the amenities that used to come with the preferred level rooms just added that much more to the experience Don’t expect an nice hotel here anymore, it’s like any other motel around

Pool smelt like dirty fish waterFurniture, lamps curtains and all need to be updatedWe are used to 4 pillows on each bed There were only 2 per bed no extra for beds

Had to request pillows and then ask twice for blankets for the fold out bedWalls need to be scrubbed Everything needs to be wiped down an sanitized

BEWARE! This hotel is under new management and it has gone in the dump The staff are extremely unprofessional and rude They have new policies and are no longer nice and accommodating

The lobby is destroyed and they don’t have any way to get around the construction safelyThe room was musty and hot The beds felt super thin and uncomfortable The pillows were just as badI’m so disappointed I used to recommend people stay here when they came to town, but never again Lame

Cassandra Wilson

I booked a room at an inflated price due to university graduation weekend $230+ for a king bed Our entire stay was centered around the pool, my kid wanted to swim for his birthday and I saw the Google pictures and called ahead before booking to make sure it was functional and the clerk said it was a great pool

I was so disappointed when we arrived this past Saturday The pool was filthy The lawn chairs were covered with bird poop The jacuzzi didn’t work The entire pool area was unkept I realized that wasn’t going to get me a refund I let my kids swim anyways but I won’t be back The pool was basically a large bird bath

Great night’s sleep! The bed was fantastic! The room was very comfortable! Breakfast was good and slightly above average We would definitely stay again if passing through The hotel was empty when we stayed so I can’t say if it’s quiet when it’s busy

Both elevators were working when we stayed I can see where people would comment on cleanliness because carpet in the hallways and rooms does look a little stained but the alternative is hard floors and I think that would make it louder I also agree with those who stated walking dogs here is a challenge but the small patch they had was reasonably clean (not full of feces) when we went Do not walk your pets in the parking area next to the hotel! There are many thorns there and what looks like grass

Julia N

I stayed at this location twice this month I usually love La Quinta but it looks like the pandemic hit the chain hard On my fist stay this month, there was only one towel and no hangers in the closet

There were also 2conditioners but no shampoo I thought that was just an oversight from housekeeping then so i just skipped wasing my hair that day When I returned today, I noticed there was no shampoo this time either so, after driving 11 hours, I asked the front desk for shampoo and was told they were completely out They also no longer provide in-room coffee Finally, there is no place to eat close to the hotel So, tired with dirty hair, I had to make a side trip to the store to buy coffee and shampoo Not happy and will not return

Denise Larzalere

Pro: Hotel is easy to get to Pet friendly Rooms are nice

Cons: No soap, shampoo, coffee Had to ask for a second wash cloth and towel Dog walking area is about 15×15 full of poop and no grass Area near to dog “walk” full of broken tiles Will not stay again Front desk person was nice but mentioned that they had not had coffee delivered since July 2021, supply chain issuesNote to mgmt: drive to Costco Buy soap, shampoo and coffee Not difficult
