Nice small hotel, clean, friendly staff but not enough due to labor shortage I believe The manager is proactive The swimming pool is small and was closed during my visit

Walking distance to Microsoft Breakfast good enough The room was clean with enough towels but giving on the parking lot even at the second floor so plan accordingly Would recommend

EDIT: The owner responded to this review saying they had contacted me and had offered me Marriott points That never happened

I was never contacted nor offered pointsQuite frustrated with my experience with this service I had made adjustments online to my reservations and apparently they did not go through or I made some kind of mistake I was charged for a room that I never stayed in and the front desk person I spoke to was quite rude & condescending saying that he couldn’t give me any kind of refund on the 1 night I was charged although I had the next night still booked I needed to stay there 2 nights so I asked to add an additional night and he wanted to charge me $270 when my original amount was $135 He told me because they were at capacity they couldn’t help me at all with a refund or honoring my original booking price I ended up cancelling the entire reservation I was surprised by the level of service as it was the worst I have received at any Marriott (I am a platinum member and have traveled on a monthly basis for the last 8 years) Definitely unfortunately it seemed like there was no attempt to “make things rights”

A few things that added up over time–I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they’re short staffed but you do NOT get daily house keeping and have to opt to call for housekeeping For a 5 night stay, we were offered one day’s worth of housekeepingYou must call to get towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc

, and when calling at 9:30 am, the girl seemed unsure if she’d be able to get me towels and said the “house man has been cleaning for a while, he should be able to bring you them” to which he did, but it still felt like an odd thing to say The next morning, we had to go to the front desk to get towels and wash cloths because there was no housekeeper onBeing in a nice area, this situation seemed extremely odd for a Marriott owned hotel and again I don’t know if this is due to being short staffed but you pay for a hotel expecting the entire experience, not to check in and THEN be told they barely have housekeeping and you should take out your own trash and leave it at the door by 10 amI’m also not sure if this is a Washington thing as I’ve never been charged for parking at a hotel, but being charged $8 a night for parking and then having to scour the parking lot for a spot is absolutely outrageous My sister has a disability and people were parking in handicap spots with no handicap stickers They have an “overflow” lot which our room was a good walk away and having to walk from there at 1 am by myself after paying for parking is ridiculousThe room is clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff friendly, but overall kind of a bizarre hotel experience that we weren’t expectinglikely due to corporate and nothing to do with in-hotel staff

We stayed here for one night to see the sights in Bellevue, first impression was that the hotel was very clean, modern and inviting! Our room was on the fifth level, really nice spacious room, huge entry, large windows, two queen beds with three pillows on each bed, and a large bathroom with a tub, perfect room for a family of four There were a few things I noticed which were quite off putting and really changed my reviewParking was 29

00 per day, that’s quite a lot for one day stayWe did find that the sink did not drain properly, it was pretty disgusting and should be fixed before any guests continue to use this roomI was unable to move my neck for the entire day after sleeping in the bed and pillows supplied Offering a firm and soft pillow option would be ideal Also, the mattresses could use updating, they’re very uncomfortable They are definitely not of a luxury standard especially when you’re paying $250+ a nightBefore arriving we stated in our comments of the booking that we would like to have a crib for our son, and we had to ask twice after we had already arrived and set it up ourselves It would of been great to have this already set up for us, it would of been a nice warm welcome and an extra added touchWe tried the pool, the space, the hottub and chairs were fantastic The pool however, was extremely cold and unbearableOverall the customer service was just OK, I can’t say they went the extra mile This hotel could do a bit better to enhance the customer experience but as for now it lacks in quite a few areas

Kelly Pang

I really liked how clean and new this hotel is, and how friendly the staff are The beds are comfortable and the room is big and spacious I would have gave it 5 star if it wasn’t for the fact they had 2 water bottles on top of the fridge, labelled $2

5 each! While most high end hotels would have just provided free water bottles (for example, W Hotel Bellevue where I stayed last time), I’m surprised Hilton Garden Inn is charging their customers for some basic needs like fresh water to drink… very disappointing! If you’re going to charge $400 CAD a night, at least have the decency to provide free water Seriously made the experience terrible Also, there were no towels provided at the pool/sauna area… which is another basic thing that should’ve been provided as a high end hotel And lastly, we had mentioned it was our anniversary this weekend, but nothing was done or acknowledged not even a card to congratulate us(most of the other hotels we’ve stayed at always made an extra effort for things like this)… On top of it all, we mentioned ahead we had a 7mon baby and needed a crib when we came in the room, it was not even assembled and we were just expected to figure out how to put it together on our own… That’s not good service in my opinion Hence overall, I gave it 4 star only

Nick Lansing

Terrific hotel We stayed there a total of 4 nights over the course of 7 days The place is clean, the staff is superb and the rooms are quiet

There are two things to know:Parking is limited You may not be able to park on-site during weekends or busy times The spots are small so anything larger than an F-150 will have a tough time Fortunately, there’s a private ramp next door and private surface lot on the same blockBathroom doors are sliding barn doors that roll in front of the bathroom The doors don’t shut You’re going to hear your partner / roommate using the toilet

Green Tortoise Hostel was a good place to stay for one night All the required amenities were available Location was definitely the best part – right in the heart of Seattle

The staff were okay – I found some to be rude and dismissive, and the check in process took over half an hour with only one staff member working I’ve stayed in countless hostels all over the world and it’s never taken this long! Bathrooms were okay, although a bit smelly and old Room was also fine I liked the privacy curtains on the beds but needed one on the other side next to the window as it was super bright Breakfast was nice to have for free but I would’ve also liked some sort of social event in the evening It seems like those are only a few nights a week Not sure if I would stay again but it was a reasonable hostel experience Some things need improvement though and I’m glad I only needed to stay for one night

James Rumburg

It was a great stay overall at this hostel! The staff are super friendly and are willing to hold bags on the day that you leave if you have a late flight out of SeaTac as I did The whole place is very clean and had many places to get work done if needed They offer free breakfast which was very helpful

It is right across the street from Pike Place and a few blocks away from public transit that can take you to other attractions and the Airport No weak points in this stay and would highly recommend checking them out!

Phuong Huynh

What a great place for the value! I’ve stayed at a lot of hostel in the US before and I think Green Tortoise would be one of top ones!I came when it was fully booked due to a convention but it still felt not crowded Pro:1 Super close to Pike Place and many attractions, plus public transportation to airport2

Target is right next door for anything you need3 Beds frames are made of solid wood, doesn’t make noise if using top bunk or moving ( unlike a lot the cheap ikea metal frames you’ve probably seen at other hostels) The storage space is half a twin bed size for luggageone of the most comfortable mattresses I slept on 4 Bathrooms are individual rooms, so it’s one person at a time5 Some Rooms have sink, so it’s easy to brush teeth without need to use bathroom6 Common areas are fairly clean and there’s always room to chill There’s free breakfast but I didn’t eat itCon:It’s downtown, so it can be very “urban” if you are not used to homelessness and noise on the streetSome rooms are street side, so it might be noisy if you are a light sleeper but they have free ear plugs!Rooms can be hot but each bed has a fanBest thing is the wonderful and nice staffs, they are super friendly and chillTip: get 4-6 beds, it’s worth the couple extra dollars compare to 8 beds

We had a convention here and they were really lovely to work with The rooms were comfortable and the amenities were wonderful They’re meeting rooms are easy to find and nicely set up

The only reason it got four stars instead of five was it was really hot Not sure if they just didn’t have the air conditioning up or if it wasn’t strong enough I would definitely recommend staying here

Stephen Lumsden

Beautiful place But for all the luxuries and high prices you don’t even get a microwave… and a full breakfast is $20 a person So if like us, you go shopping for your food I hope you like it about as warm as a dead seagull

(Update) I reached out and didn’t get far, the site crashed Not sure why that’s necessary anyway because the issue I had was plainly laid out in the review, and I SERIOUSLY doubt they’d give me any sort or refund or discount

Ahimelec Diaz

When I booked this the pictures of the rooms looked great but I realized that they were a little misleading When we got to our room the room was at 77 degrees and the thermostat said it was set to 65 Called the front desk and they weren’t super helpful just said someone would come by and check it out in a few

The walls were super dirty and the room was smelly the bathroom was dirty and there was mold around the tub Wouldn’t stay here again Not worth the money that was paid

Love that you can get guaranteed connecting rooms at this hotel Very convenient for my family without having to worry about room locations The hotel is a little outdated, but they make up for that in every other way

Checkin was easy, and the gentleman helping us was pleasant, cheerful, and gave you all the info needed to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer for their guests Evening reception was wonderful, relaxed, and also inviting We spent a great deal of time in the pool and the hot tub was perfect Hot with strong jets The rooms were quite spacious, with a dining table and a sectional pullout couch in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom I appreciated having the bathroom located just outside the door to the bedroom I’ve stayed at many hotels where the bathroom is located in the bedroom so everyone has to come through just to use it I missed breakfast but my in-laws said it was probably the best breakfast they’ve had at a hotel Lost of options, tasty and fresh Overall, my family enjoyed this hotel very much! If staying in the area again, we would definitely return to this hotel Again, a little outdated for my style, but with the service, friendliness, room sizes, complimentary reception and breakfast, it doesn’t get any better than this

Buzz Hurtado

This lovely hotel offers plenty of room in each suite for a traveling family Checkout took less than three minutes and we were surprised to find out there was a manager’s reception in the evening Breakfast was an easy choice to get the day started with some great options

The location near Bellevue is awesome without having to deal with all the traffic or parking hassle We will enjoy booking this place again!

This was a fantastic hotel experience The entire facility felt quite exquisite and far more expensive than the going rate for the rooms Everything on premise was in tip top shape including the workout facility, hydration stations, breakfast lounge, rooms, and lobby areas

The snack/drink selection was plentiful and gave such a great pair of optionsThe breakfast was good and the waffles were pleasantly tasty If the food runs out sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for it to be restockedNo complaints from me and will definitely stay here again shortly

Beautiful hotel Nice room Great location

Room is spacious and clean Excellent location Overall I was happy staying here

On the 5th day of my stay, the room had not been cleaned at all and I needed clean towels so I asked the desk clerk to have my room cleaned He said that they only clean every 3 days and the schedule was for my room to be cleaned the next day A discussion ensued as to how long I had stayed and whether my room had previously been cleaned Then the clerk said that he would try to change the schedule When I walked past him 20 minutes later, the clerk was chatting with the valet parking employee and ignored me So I will find out this evening if the clerk was able to change the schedule (is it rocket science?)The breakfast buffet is $2079 plus sales tax and optional tip It is convenient as it is in the hotel and opens at 6:30 There is beautiful fresh fruit (bowls of blueberries, strawberries, melon, and pineapple) Belgian waffles are made on request But scrambled eggs were only available on day 1: I was told the following days that the shipment had not come in Since there is a supermarket 2 blocks away with heaps of eggs, I think they must use a powdered mix The breakfast sandwich (English muffin with slice of ham cheddar cheese and folded scrambled egg) was poor The egg was only warm while the cheese was very cold, a not very nice combination

We were in the Seattle area for surgery and knew we would be staying a couple weeks La Residence has apartments with full outfitted kitchens, a nice King bedroom, a full size bathroom, a living and dining room and walk in closet The complex is small, quiet, well situated to grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping and 3 great and gorgeous parks

The staff is efficient, friendly and they make you feel welcome in every way The continental breakfast is good, the laundry room is clean, fairly priced and not busy We had our little dog with us and there are handy places to walk, and a close-by dumpster to clean up easily The complex is not new but is quality built and stocked The linens were newer, everything was clean and fresh It is a secure building all the time but locked entirely in the evening You have access using your keyWe loved our experience at La Residence and have reservations to return soon It is a nice place in a nice community

Megan Saige

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, I booked last minute for a work trip based solely on price and location so I wasn’t sure what to expect The room was nice and had a living room and kitchen and dining table, nothing fancy but it was clean and spacious Nice continental breakfast in the lobby each morning and walking distance to the mall and large beautiful park

I will definitely return here on future trips 🙂

Excellent stay overall! Check-in was simple and quick and they accommodated us for both early and late arrival Initially had a room on the second floor but they gave us a room on the top floor when asked We did get complimentary bottles of water for our Hilton reward membership

The room was bright, with a huge window that showed the skyline of the downtown buildings a few blocks away which was gorgeous after darkBeds, pillows and room were comfortable Exceptionally clean and the housekeeping goes above and beyond by even wiping cobwebs up in the corners of the rooms I’m pretty picky as I used to clean hotel rooms for my own employment and this was just as great Water pressure in the sink in the bathroom was a little light but the shower head was fantastic pressure and the water stays hot/warm for a long timeRoom had a microwave, mini refrigerator, a desk and office chair, and a good size flat screen TV with tons of channels as well as a couple movie channels like HBOWe called the front desk for a extra blanket and Haley came with two and a super great attitude about having to deliver it She even asked if there was anything else she could help us with before dropping the blankets offBreakfast selection is diverse with coffee and tea few different juices for drinks They had homemade omelets and large chunked potatoes for warm foods They also had individually wrapped items like bagels and cream cheese, muffins, oranges, apples and bananas and Greek yogurt

Louis Kohanyi

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in Bellevue and we really liked it The staff is friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean We really liked the breakfast, you have to try the waffles! What I like the most about this hotel is the indoor swimming pool which is the perfect size and has a nice and relaxing view of a forest

The hotel also has a large parking lot

Kim Walker

We had just gotten off a cruise ship and they kick you off pretty early in the morning The front desk attendant was incredibly helpful She allowed us to store our luggage while we waited for our rooms to be ready

And they went out of their way to get us in our rooms as soon as they couldAll of the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful and clean and extremely nice

Great stay It has little kitchenet inside the room The kitchen has just enough to prepare some simple meals, but somehow stove top was very weak and took about an hour just to boil the pot of water

But still it is nice to have feature Bed and couch were comfortable They have pool, gym, and laundry place on first floor All of those are nicely maintained and very clean Also, as location wise, it is located next to Transit Center, so has easy access to many number of buses, so if you are thinking about moving around by bus it is great place But the downside of this place is there is no store/ restaurant in walking distance, so it is troublesome if you want to grub some small little something

Beautiful property, so close to Bellevue downtown yet next to a very green forest reserve We got a well appointed room by 3* standards and lucky for the views The staff was friendly, we loved the games (pool and shuffle) room and an easy family friendly lobby vibe

Breakfast was underwhelming the day we stayed, but everything else including comfortable beds worked very well Will love to be back

Vinita Ramnani

I am giving this rating as one of your staff members Diana has not been welcoming and rather rude to me whereas others have been really helpful I came down to the reception to get some amenities like toilet paper and some tin foil which I was refused for in a rude tone The other receptionist was trying to help me but Diana said we can’t help it’s their problem to the other staff

I would like you to seriously take this matter and give me a call about it

Amanda Peterson

We moved to WA and had a three week extended stay here while waiting for our lease to start Friendly staff and willing to help! Washer and dryer is on site, during our stay you need to request housekeeping which was nice as you could pick a date s time so you know when they would be coming inWe had a one bedroom suite that came with a dining table and separate desk to work remotely at

Internet worked great for all my work video calls, part of the roomVery nice surrounding area and walking paths Dog relief areas are clean and in front of the building off so the sides with bags to pick up after your dog if you don’t already carry themHot breakfast each morning, was super good and buffet style Mix of hot and cold breakfast options with eggs and oatmeal, toast/bagels as daily options and a meat that alternated between sausage links/patties, biscuits and gravy Staples like fresh fruit, yogurt with lactose free options Juice and coffee

My wife and I made our first visit to Seattle to visit our daughter, and our stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn was just another great highlight of our trip to this beautiful city The Inn is beautiful, warm and welcoming and the owners Joelle and Ryan made us feel right at home The bed was incredibly comfortable, and our room was great, with a view of the space needle from the balcony

Our hats off to Tanya who keeps the Inn so clean Just as the space needle is a “must” see in Seattle, the Gaslight Inn is a “must” place to stay if you are coming to Seattle, you will not be disappointed Thank you Joelle and Ryan for the great conversations, and for welcoming us into your home, while we were away from home We will certainly come back and stay again!

Amy Paquin

Our stay was wonderful thanks to Ryan and Joelle! They were so accommodating and gave us terrific recommendations of things to do around the city The inn is beautiful, and they’ve added some nice touches for the comfort and convenience of the guests (masks provided by the door, etc) We couldn’t always find convenient parking nearby, but that’s not surprising, given it’s in such a prime location, and we could walk most places we wanted to go anyway

We had a fantastic experience, and would definitely stay here again!

Becky Westerberg

Absolutely loved our stay here, the bed was comfy, room was gorgeous and big! Location was great, could walk to restaurants and bars, the transport links were perfect tooRyan and Joelle were fabulous hosts and go out of there way to make you feel welcome Check in/out was easy

Would definitely stay again if we return to Seattle and recommend to others to stay!!

Great hotel space, family oriented and very homey if your looking for a good sleep or getaway with family or a quick business trip Room was equipped with a desk already As well as morning beverages like coffee and hygiene needs

Clean linens and towels First hotel booked for the first time so the experience was nice and flowed smoothly into my check out Check out is especially really easy and great thing is delivery may come to your room if you want to, thumbs up for that Really enjoyed this accomation It’s within budget range as well if needed

Fairly good for the price Nice looking hotel/rooms with friendly and helpful staff A few major drawbacks

There was a carpet beetle crawling on the fabric part of my bed frame The bed sheet had a faint stain There is no elevator (I wish this was made more apparent when I booked) The toilet ran loudly on and off for extended lengths of time throughout my stay

The staff were super nice Our room was missing part of the coffee maker so we couldn’t make coffee I booked this hotel mostly for the hot tub

But it was closed the entirety of our trip So that was super dissappointing Walls are very thin we could hear word for word the conversation of our neighbors Bed was comfy! If the hot tub is fixed then I’d stay here again

2nd stay at this hotel First time was great This time found some issues

The night stands were very dusty We wondered if the place has been cleaned at all Used roll of toilet paper remained We expect new roll for new guests Plus health issue from used roll? The washing basin sink was draining very slowly Possibly clogged The room gets service every 3 days Our room was done on the 3rd day, but no spare toilet paper left in the room We had to call the service for spare roll because it was almost out Surprised the staff did not notice there was no spare rolls Also had to call for body lotion None found in the room We booked a 1 bedroom studio by mistake They gave us a handicapped room The shower curtain was too high from the floor resulting in lots of water splashes outside The towel on the ground was all wet and slippery after each shower They should lower the curtain to minimize the splashes

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I hated my room will explain more in detailParking is $9 a night (not terrible in comparison to Seattle)

Breakfast, which had good breakfast sandwiches and unlimited coffee (that was delicious) was a huge plus the dining/bar area was nice (though the bar never opened during the 4 days I was there) and there is outdoor seating which is great to hang out at in the eveningFitness center is small but nice with new equipment (treadmills and elliptical s) and weights and the laundry room was nice as wellBring a sound machine or sleep headphones (I travel with mine) bc the walls are thin and you can hear everythingand I mean everything)Kate at the front desk was wonderful and got me into my room super early I was put in room 201, which is incredibly far from both sets of elevators (not a problem) The room itself was spacious and spotless, but I was so disappointed to open the windows to see that I had a view of a retaining wall I had to crank my neck up just to see the trees and no direct sunlight either which sucks since I was there for 4 daysThe biggest problem was that you are up against the retaining wall AND I had a drain near my window there were bugs, spiders, gnats, beetles, moths all over the damn place and while the windows are sealed (you can’t open them,) they are able to enter the room through cracks and also where your ac vents out I woke up every night with bites, bugs and spiders in the bed and even (accidently) stepped on two beetles in the middle of the night during my stayThere was even a iguana or lizard of some kind on my windowthank goodness it didn’t get inside overall, I would stay here again (on a higher floor), just know that the most of odd numbered rooms on the second floor have that view as well (if I had to guess rooms 201 -219 (odd numbers only) have that same view avoid room 201 if you can

The hotel was nothing special It was as expected for a residence inn Odd that I had to pay a parking fee of $7ish for the night

There was someone parked in the handicap without a handicap placard/plate The parking spots were tight too The hotel itself was quiet Room was by an elevator, but didn’t notice any noise The room could have used some maintenance A tile was off in the bathroom and the closet door had a spring that was out I don’t think the room was fully wiped down as there were crumbs over by the stove The breakfast was hot with the traditional fare of eggs, meat, oatmeal, and pastries Was just in for the evening and it was a good location

I came to this hotel during a tough transition in my life while I waited for my new apartment to become available I was mentally exhausted and very much in my own head while simultaneously dealing with work calls and e-mails on a day in day out basis The staff was so helpful and friendly during my stay especially the front desk

I interacted with both the morning and night shift staff with each interaction being as pleasant as the last I’m a big believer in my own life on treating people with respect and genuine intentions because you never know what someone is going through even behind a smile I think the staff at this specific hotel really embodies that mentality intentionally or unintentionally and I genuinely appreciated that aspect of my stay In regards to the hotel it’s self, it’s very well kept and clean throughout the building while always smelling nice The lobby area has a nice zone where you can sit and relax in case your up early or late They also have a water park and pool across the street no more then 500ft away which is a big + for families 5/5 stars Thank you

This hotel is a very nice property for the price and class Close to the interstate with very easy access to Seattle for me it was only 17 minutes Is very close to shopping centers and other amenities that you may find helpful when you travel

The rooms were clean with good quality fixtures and beds Hotel website photos were accurate description of locations within the property Fitness room was very good compared to many hotels I have seen Breakfast is included and his much better than most locations with real hot food prepared for the guests

Michael DeWitt

The manager doesn’t know hospitality at all The manager had me move my car 3x because the he didn’t like where I parked it The hotel has a coin washer/dryer but offer no coin exchange at the front desk

I really like Best Westerns, but this one is very badOne positive is the cleaning staff has been awesome cleaning the room

We stayed at La Quinta Inn at NE Northup Way Kirkland, WA in December 2021Receptionist guy in the night shift was very nice and decent But the hotel itself is not very clean Elevator smells filthy and floor is pretty nasty

Room was very cold when we got there , they didn’t run the heater and smells like old stale carpet They also allow pets which is ok but if you are allergic to pet hair then it’s not the hotel for you You will see traces of pet hair on the bed linensReceptionist woman in the morning shift is not so friendlyThe free breakfast are some oranges, yoghurt and muffins So just a warning if there’s like 2 or 3 of you eating they will not provide a paper bag or any kind of bag so you have to put the food items in your coat or prepare to manage it along with everything else ( masks , luggage, kids/babies etc) I lost valuable items in the room and unfortunately nobody called from the hotel yet to return the items I hope someone with a good conscience realizes that the items are important to their guests and return itTo be fair to them a manager emailed us regarding this concernA month later Still waiting for someone to call us from this hotel and return the wedding band and engagement ringUpDate April 2022This hotel property address in Northup Way apparently is closed or under different management

The folks that work here are all extremely nice, at least everyone I met so far I feel very at peace here I think the loudest person here may be me

Really though, it’s completely quiet and utterly relaxed The man who helps me at the front desk on a regular basis couldn’t be more hospitable The rooms are good size a wonderful deal !!! I’ve paid $50 more for the same size room or smaller It’s a little rough on the outside, (mainly old paint) The woman who took my reservation over the phone She actually helped me to the point of a FREE early check in Nobody is promised that I’m sure, it was terrible weather out and cold She allowed her heart to help This place is really like that Well worth a little extra commute What’s kindness worth these days? I still can’t believe it’s as affordable as it is

Room was fairly comfortable, and I appreciated having a recliner so I could put my feet up Not enough pillows and no extra pillow or blanket in the closet They can’t say they currently offer a breakfast

You could get a piece of fruit and a very small yogurt, and that’s basically it Staff have to hand you the minimal food, yet the spoon, lid for your coffee, and the stirrers have to be grabbed by you which means people’s fingers are likely touching the stuff which will be going in your mouth *eyeroll*Your only option for a sweetener in the lobby (for coffee or tea) is sugar When I asked about artificial stuff, the staff said “We’re asked that all the time, but this is all we have” If you’re asked for this “all the time” why not supply it? Not like it’s expensive!Location is decent and convenientHallway on the 3rd floor was FREEZING I needed my jacket any time I left my room Thermostat in the room couldn’t be lowered beyond 65 I like a chilly room, and there is too much traffic noise for me to leave the window openBathtub is small, and no bars or anything for people who might need some help with stability Just an FYI Toilet paper roll was under the sink cabinet which made it difficult to roll so would rip after 2 squares

Well I wanted to write this review because I’m still in absolute shock of how poorly ran the Bellevue Club is My family & I decided to celebrate Mother’s Day by going to the brunch they were having today All of us including my Mother, were very disappointed to say the least

After we were seated, our server didn’t even come to the table until we were halfway done with our meal The food on the buffet was poorly put together with overcooked tenderloin, poor-quality frozen breakfast potatoes, hard-boiled eggs benedict, some side dishes that had zero-thought put into it and some seafood that was over-steamed I guess the best thing they had on the buffet for $75/person was the omelette station that was made with liquid eggs Honestly, I feel like it was a waste of money My Mom & Wife weren’t impressed and said in fact that they would of been happier with Denny’s because at least there you know what your getting and it’s not over-priced In the years past at the Bellevue Club, the food was way better for the amount of money that they charge The sad part, is that the food was just not prepared or cooked to perfection of $75/person Last Christmas we went to a dinner party at the Seattle Yacht Club, and not only was the food immaculate but the service was good! Our server today at the Bellevue Club was lazy and rude After today we certainly won’t be dining at the Bellevue Club anytime soon Such ashame because it used to be one of our favorite date-night spots for the weekend

A fantastic hotel to stay in, since it’s connected to a full athletic facility with things like indoor basketball courts, swimming, tennis, etc If you need a place to practice and stay in shape when in town, this is the spot to go Parking is outdoors, but secure enough to not worry if you are a car nut

It’s also quite nice as a hotel all by itself

Remsen Jennings

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in! If you’re looking for a hotel that feels like an escape from the big city where you can unwind and feel at home, this is it The minute you walk in, you feel calm vibes all around The color pallete is soft earth tones throughout

The rooms are impeccably clean and are outfitted with tons of smart technology (thermostat, lights, curtains, etc) You can cast anything from any streaming service on the TV, which is a rare find in hotels (usually, you’re lucky if a hotel has Netflix) The bathroom feels like a spa – all beige tones and soothing stones I have to reiterate how CLEAN everything feels – that is even more of a rare find! The cavernous shower is incredibly relaxing The 4-story gym is unparalleled – no hotel has fitness offerings like this However, the hours aren’t ideal if you only have time for late night workouts One other downside is the location – you can’t really walk anywhere off-property for food, coffee, or groceries at your convenience You’ll need transportation Overall, this hotel provides a luxurious, relaxing spa-like experience, and it is well worth the stay

Great experience in this hotel Can enjoy the lake sitting on the sofa The sofa can accomadate 4 people, 2 each side

Great for close friends to have a talk, play card games, drink cups of cocktails and enjoy the night The room feels clean and fresh The swimming pool is comfortable The restaurant give me the opportunity to have a great brunch sitting on the patio just next to the lake Will definitely stay at this place again next time I go to Seattle

This hotel is probably optimal for Boeing visitors but the location is terrible for anyone else Rooms are fine but I paid extra for a partial lake view

I could only see the lake looking sideways very close to the window This is rip-off I requested room service and the bed was made, but the room and bathroom were only partially cleaned Last, nothing to do around No decent restaurant walking distance (the only good one is closed half week) The lake shore walk is pretty nice though

I love the Hyatt Regency at Lake Washington It’s always a pleasure staying here The rooms are very clean, the staff amazing and very helpful

The location is close to various restaurants and shopping opportunities at The Landing and a movie theater is also at The Landing Lake Washington is right outside the North side of the hotel and a park with access to the lake is available to the public Amenities are available upon request The restaurant food looks great and is on the high side price wise I’m looking forward to trying it on my next visit Update will be posted after I have a meal there!
