Great experience in late June for a good price Front desk very helpful and shuttle drivers to airport were great Close proximity to airport was great for returning rental car the night before our flight

Beds were super comfortable Small restaurant attached that was open in the late afternoon/evening and was a welcome sight after a long day of travel Good breakfast in the morning

Dave Tremblay

Room was nice and staff was efficient and friendly Bed was VERY comfortable and room was clean Shower and AC unit seemed a bit dated

Sound of AC turning on/off was a concern, but once I changed the fan from auto to “on”, it was excellent for sleeping (best sleep I had all week) The AC noise is the only reason I considered holding back on one star Would definitely return as it was great for the price

Barry Mastrantonio

The people are very nice However that is about the best I can say The room was nice and clean when I got there

But after that for 4 days no one cleaned the room, no one checked to get us clean towels and supplies The cable tv was on the fritz for the weekend Kept buffering and for some reason they could not get the cable company to come out until Monday I have been a Marriott rewards member for years and I am very disappointed from this trip Next time I will have to check the other Marriott’s near by,

WOW! So glad we booked here for the night This extended stay is so nice The entrance is welcoming with beautiful blue tones

They sell merchandise for your pets since it’s a pet friendly hotel They have a computer/printer at front desk Also games, videos, crock pots that I think you can use or rent Not sure about thatThe room was spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need The bed was perfect (Could use one more pillow, 2 for each of us)The bathroom was very large We could move around together and not get in each other’s way The towels were so thick TOTALLY not used to that in our many hotel staysI would recommend you stay here while in town They have a shuttle too!

Our stay here was surprisingly so good! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff and the manager (Hawaiian shirt guy) He was so funny and nice! The rooms were so nice! They had dishes and utensils like an Airbnb and the bed was the COMFIEST bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel! Never had any issues and not too far from the city either! We actually took a scooter from the hotel to the city! Would stay again

Malcolm Reynolds

Great place to be!I was here three weeks for work, and it went by so fast The staff does a great job looking out for its customers They go above and beyond for their tenants so they have a comfortable stay

Just to mention a few of the staff I had the pleasure to meet; Justin( Manager) Isabel(Housekeeping) and Kiloni(Secretary) They make a great team, and made my accommodations flawless! Thanks Sonesta!

We loved our stay here The staff was so friendly The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and we loved the whirlpool tub, it was huge and felt more like a hot tub

The breakfast buffet was great, probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had and the views were incredible If we ever come back to Salt Lake City we will definitely be staying here again!

Spent a lovely evening here a while back It’s in a great location with close proximity to the airport The staff was incredibly helpful and the free breakfast was a definite perk

The facility was clean and well-managed, and I didn’t have any problems with my room I would stay here again!I wasn’t here long enough to need other meals, but it didn’t seem like there were many restaurants close so you’ll either need to drive or order delivery from somewhere

Mandy Evans

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! After dealing with a friend’s delayed flight, we were in a panic to find a room last minute but Donna at the front desk made everything better!! She was such a joy and made sure that we had the essentials to get us by! If there were more people like Donna in the world, it would be a better place!! Thank you so much!! We highly recommend! Not to mention the room exceeded our expectations as well as the price!!

Tunning In

Place has alot of miscommunication issues and housekeeping and front desk could do a better job Long night cause its graduation week and instead of calling and informing us that its check out time they extended our stay and handed us a key In addition to that we left assuming our stay was extended and someone walked into our room put all our stuff in a bag and stole our suitcase

You would think that they would call the number on file or atleast wait til we get back No inventory was done when dumping and packing our stuff in a bag and they stated if we wanted to file a report we could instead of just checking their cameras to see what employee took our stuff

I’ve never had a bad experience with Best Western, which is why I always try to find one close to my out of town destinationsThe service was above excellent, the young man that checked us in was extremely polite and very helpful I hope he knows after a long day of traveling, thats always a nice thing for a guest to experience

Breakfast was actually better than you’d expect, it’s usually pretty good at best WesternThe rooms were perfectly clean, and updated Thank you to the housekeeping for doing a fantastic job!The building is located in a great spot, very quiet The portion of the parking lot our room was on, was kind of odd It was a dead end rather than a wrap around lot, but nothing hard to navigateI would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area of Salt Lake!

Hanah Jensen

Could’ve been cleaner, maybe updated a bit My room had (soda?) spilled all over the wall, little stain on my comforter (maybe food or something?) and the floor didn’t seem to be vacuumed Breakfast was good and filling

(I recommend the pancakes) just disappointed in the cleanliness of my room Hotel definitely is kinda stale smelling as I saw someone else review too Staff seemed friendly, lots of parking

This was a very comfortable hotel to stay at after a long drive! The whole hotel had been renovated with all the modern amenities The rooms very impeccable and very, very clean! The hotel was a brick building that had a story book style architectureOne surprise we encountered was that they have changed their pet policy about a week ago

Nevertheless, they honored it to us to accommodate out large dogSince it is close to the airport, you could hear the airplanes taking off and landing quite loudly But to compensate for that, they had a ‘white noise’ unit in the room that did a good job to help you get a good night’s sleepMost of all, what really stood out about this hotel was the lady at the front desk! Her name was Tracey Wow!! This lady’s welcoming attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate the guests was unlike any I’ve experienced! She setup a whole new ‘high bar’ as to how guests should be treated and welcomed! Truly amazing!

We ended up here due to an unexpected overlay Surprisingly pleasant hotel accommodation, the hotel had a very modern vibe, the room were excellent, clean and cozy with a European modern vibe The check in person of color extremely accommodating, especially in light of an onslaught of late night travelers that were sent by the airline with vouchers in hand

I wished I’d stay longer to try their other amenities, aside from late night snacks, and the nice bed

Steve Joerger

The hotel is a 7-minute drive to the airport and 15-20 minutes to downtown The hotel is walking distance to one restaurant and there is the bistro in the lobby otherwise you’ll need a car The hotel appears to be an older property that was recently updated

All employees were so service focused it was impressive Great customer service at check in and check out and consistently in between! There is a problem though – the hotel has an odd

scent The room freshener smelled like cologne if some kind and the hallways smelled like some kind of odd funk mixed with old dirty laundry Best description I can come up with Room was clean enough but had a few incongruous moments – a few stray hairs here and there, and odd smears on the windows But the bed and bathroom were clean, very clean, and the stay went off with out any hitches Great for a night stay when passing through You’ll enjoy the service and they will take good care of you, plus the hotel is sort of “experimental” and has some fun features for all ages

Miss Riley

There was just one thing that is causing me to give one star I had to clean the bathroom before using it because it had so many little curly body hairs all over the floor and walls of the shower and just all over the bathroom floor in general Not just one or two that were missed during cleaning, there were tons of hairs

There were hairs stuck to my feet after walking in to use the bathroom Something like that is so unhygienic and gross to me that it can ruin even the nicest hotel rooms for me I felt gross taking a shower after seeing the state it was left in, even after cleaning it up myself Aside from that, this hotel is really nice The beds are so comfortable, it was quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was really delicious and much appreciated I would absolutely still recommend staying here, but I can’t bring myself to give more than one star just based on the filthy bathroom

Ryle Emmett

After having a 17hour day of canceled flights and traveling we got into SLC at about 1:30 am which is not in the hotels shuttle operation hours but we made a call and she made a point to come and get us! Hotel is super clean since it’s new and even has hardwood floors which feels so much cleaner than hotel carpet! Continental breakfast and coffee is great and all employees have had a great service Coming from a frequent traveler this hotel is great!

My Dad and I recently had to take a trip back to Utah for a family event For the price, it was awfully dirty not over the fact that they are recently doing some renovations but just the cleanliness of our room was gross They need to change the comforters more often

There was makeup all over my dad’s bedding Also the bathtub was extremely slick Would suggest putting a non slip mat down for more safety Front desk Brandon was very welcoming I think he worked swing on the night we arrived Not the greatest location considering it being on a busy highway

Literati Editors

Joseph helped me and my mom This is one of THE BEST customer service experiences I’ve ever had I have stage four cancer and came down for a 3-day bout of treatments and scans from a different state

This can sometimes feel like a fiasco because of everything I’m going through But Joseph, the man at the front desk, was so personable and nice He made me and my mom feel so much better He even helped walk us out after our first visit to the front deskThank you so much for your kindness to us If I still had my own business, I would offer this man a job Wow!!!

Hotel is in the midst of renovations, which is fineBut the room renovations are done poorly Fit and finish is bad

There are cracked tiles, poorly installed fixtures and cracked sink in the bathrooms Coffee maker is missing parts so is not functionalThere are also safety issues – door for the stairs sticks and is hard to open Doors are not labeled No fire exit routes are indicated in the rooms There is an office chair blocking the second floor landing Given the attention to quality with the renovations, I would suspect that safety systems (sprinklers, alarms, etc) likely suffer the same lack of attentionI would not recommend staying at this hotel I understand it is converting to Holiday Inn after renovations, but I doubt changing the sign is going to change the safety of the building or the quality of the roomsSorry, I don’t like to post bad reviews, but this hotel should be much much better than it is, and it is not an issue of changing the furnishings

I was traveling with my nieces from Ukraine to US We were extremely tired and stressed out Our next flight was next morning

As soon as we stepped inside of the hotel, we were taking care of right away The staff was very nice and professional The room was clean , specious and bed comfortable We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and were picked up by shuttle This hotel is very close to the airport, so the ride was maybe 10-15 min onlySpecial thanks to : Easter, Etta and Christina !!! Ladies, because of your hard work and kindness – we enjoyed our stay very much Big thanks to driver of a shuttle Ed Coleman ! What an amazing person he is! We appreciate you ! 🤗

We stayed here because of all the great reviews and we were definitely disappointed We planned 3 nights for our small family trip but only stayed 2 This hotel is run down, it looks like the double tree tried to “renovate it” but they only added new furniture and paint

The back of the door in the bathroom in room 135 looked like an animal got to it and they just painted over itThe blanket didn’t have a cover… it was a duvet insert without a cover Rooms don’t automatically get room service (I have NEVER experienced this before at any hotel) You have to request it before 9 am We requested 2 times and one time room service just didn’t come, when they did come they were not thorough at all…The pool was run down, paint was bubbling off of the ceiling The hot tub was long gone The grout at the pool was black in some spots and there was weird indoor balconies looking down at the pool In addition, I paid for breakfast at our booking and we had to argue with the lady at the front desk who insisted we have to pay for it again… Ultimately we got our breakfast that we paid for but even that was not worth itUnfortunately we cut our trip a day early because we didn’t want to stay here anymoreWe will not ever be back at a double tree

Maggie McMichael

I stayed here after a flight cancellation and was only actually staying for a few hours before my early, rebooked flight The staff that checked me in was the staff that checked me out They honestly made the experience so wonderful

They remembered my name during the two interactions we had after check in, were patient with my frazzled vibe, and made sure I had water and toiletries for the time I was there Things were clean, the bed was comfy, but above all I felt welcome and cared for

Although I had read some negative reviews prior to staying here, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with the hotel We were on the first leg of a 3 state anniversary trip and upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to a tower room at no extra charge The room was VERY large and well equipped, a definite upgrade to what I had booked

Older decor throughout the hotel but well done and a change from what we usually stay in when traveling Just a couple of minor suggestions: provide glasses for beverages, only paper coffee cups were available Also, our room had a spacious balcony with a great view of the city but their are no chairs to sit and enjoy it?

susana danso

I used to work here so I sometimes use my benefits to get a room for a day or two with my children as a short getaway Always a great experience and the coffee shop has some of the best soups and salads I’ve ever had We also had the brunch buffet a couple of times and loved it because of the variety they offer

There’s also a gift shop, a lounge coffee bar and indoor/ outdoor swimming pools We usually stay at a tower room but one time we stayed at a garden room and it was beautiful too I highly recommend Little America for your next hotel stay in Salt Lake City

Lisha Redford

I chose this hotel for my one year wedding anniversary with my husband Where the main desk is to check in, is beautiful, but the rooms are a completely different story There were stains all over the floor, the walls were dirty, the heating/air system was dysfunctional, the heating vents were hanging halfway out of the walls, the wallpaper was coming off in certain places

Absolutely no effort to clean this room before we checked in, or keeping up on the maintenance of the room I went to sit in a chair to do my hair and there was a huge red stain on the chair We ended up leaving and not even staying the night If I could give a negative review I would The $100 deposit is absolutely ridiculous, I would expect that amount from a nice hotel but this was disgusting Very disappointed

We enjoyed our stay here Hotel rooms were nice and well kept Our bathroom had a roomy shower with glass doors

The free breakfast was great The staff were welcoming and helpful It’s close to the airport and downtown We rented a car, but honestly it may have been better to just Uber since all we were doing was going downtown We had to pay parking every time we went down there So I’m not sure how much it saved us since we just went down town for a conference all day and kept our parking at one location There were lots that were $20 and others that were $10

JameZ Bee

This is just a great place to stay The rooms are very clean and up to date Mattresses are good

The staff is very attentive, great customer service And the location is conveniently right off the freeway, but not so close that you hear it in your room There is plenty of parking The pricing is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area Not significantly higher But then it’s nicer than the other hotels nearby as well

Kate Swensen

Staff is really helpful and friendly they were the best part of our stay Room cleanliness was okay If you’re going for the pool I wouldn’t classify it as a water park, much smaller than it looks in photos

The Poole cleanliness wasn’t great either Be sure to know kids under 48” can’t ride the big slide which was a letdown for my kids who were just under that My kids had fun but we probably won’t be back

The swimming pool was super freezing cold even though it’s indoor Keeping those towels stocked for the pool could use improvement as well More than once I’ve stayed here and same issue with pool temp and towel stock

The breakfast served is amazing, its the best I’ve ever had with selection of choice and hot served items However, the flashing light on the 2nd floor by the stairs was flickering on and off like that the last time I stayed there over a month ago Worst thing to say about this stay is that the elevator was out of order and it’s the only elevator in the hotel, it was out of order the whole week stay That was ridiculousness for those whom have multiple luggage or medical limitations to take the stairs I like the large bathroom and the room set up design I appreciate that the staff mind their own business and not pry into everything I’m doing and the guest I have At some places I’ve stayed required my guest to check-in and have limited time frames that I can have guest, so thank you for that privacy courtesy

McKenzie Schaffer

There was mold and broken wall next to shower Towel rack was broken No remote the TV and the replacement remote from the front desk didn’t work

The leather chair arms were ripped and extremely worn The bed was off its frame – shifted to be 6-10 inches off its frame to the left The refrigerator was enclosed in a boxmeaning the unit cant do its job and keep anything cold The heat has to go somewhereThink it’s more than reasonable to fix these things before you charge guests $200+ for a room Especially one with a broken wall with mold growing over the shower!

Daljit Singh

I stayed here a few nights ago The hotel was very nice, room was super clean everything is up to date The lobby is very clean as well

The clerk who checked us in her name was Bansari she was very professional, very outgoing and definitely good at her job She is the best asset this hotel has We will definitely stay againJust one thing we did not like the chairs in the breakfast are very low

I see what other reviewers are saying about the musty smell in the room However the room was quiet and the linens were obviously fresh and those two things are all I really need Also, check-in was very quick despite getting in around 1am

All in all, one of the better sleeps I’ve had in a hotel in recent memory and I was pleasantly surprised by the lacking noise even though we’re by the airport Breakfast was so-so

Sometimes at these Holiday inns the beds kind of sag to the middle not very comfortable the bed in this place was hard as a board stiff as can be Actually slept pretty good the reason for the three-star review is everything in this room was worn out Bottom of my feet was getting dirty from walking around with no socks on that’s how nasty the carpet was

However it’s a convenient location next to the airport to dip in for an early morning flight so I don’t have to drive in the morning to get to the airport from where I live I will use it again in the future but it sure could use some updates!

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

We only stayed one night but definitely recommend this place Check in was very quick Our room was very spacious and very clean

The bed was super comfortable too! Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was wonderful They had a wide range of items available and everything we tried was tasty While the location isn’t right near downtown, it was still just a short drive away We highly recommend staying here!

Nicely maintained property, comfortable bed! Room cleanliness overall good, could use a little closer attention to detail cleaning the edges of room/tileHappy surprise at breakfast with a gluten free option! Made my day that I could have a nice breakfast not just limited to oatmeal The breakfast was nice all around

Thank you for thinking of allergies!

Great stay Great breakfast (I am super glad that they still have the premade breakfast sandwiches at some places like here) This is my second time staying at this hotel and definitely will be coming back in the future

The beds are so comfy The tubs in the bathroom are a little hilarious as I believe you can only fit a small child in it 😂 but it is cool that they have a tub anyway because most hotels don’t anymore

I stayed here with my friend on a recent trip to SLC Jessica at the front desk was awesome She told us about some great restaurants and places to visit

She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of Isaiah was also great Very polite and helpful The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious Although you can hear the planes it is not too bad, they also provide ear plugs for those who are sensitive to sound All in all this hotel is great

Stayed here for an early morning flightI really liked that there was a drink bar and all the staff were very welcoming and niceThe room was spacious but I found other people’s hair on a lot of places in the room

There was even a hair on the coffee machine which is disgusting

Delta put me here on a overnight layover due to a delayed flight I gotta say this is one on the nicest hotels I have stayed at (Better than the 5 star Marriott in downtown SLC, and the Hampton in downtown ogden)The night shift reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the bed was super soft

It can get a little noisy at night but that’s understandable being next to the airport All in all I love this place and wish I could have stayed longer The free airport shuttle was convenient too

My first stay at Ellerbeck, and it was absolutely wonderful! The building is elegant and beautiful, the decor is intriguing and nostalgic For a moment you feel like you’re transported to a different time, absolutely peaceful and tranquil Then, the breakfast was delicious; the cottage cakes were fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly

I can’t say enough good things about my experience I highly recommend the Ellerbeck bed-and-breakfast as a unique place to stay in Salt Lake City, and I’ll be back for sure!

Our stay at the Ellerbeck Bed & Breakfast was like a dream! We booked and stayed in the Zion room It was like sleeping in a place of history We were in love with the decor and the theme kept throughout the house

The breakfast in the morning was absolutely deliciousThey were also very accommodating as I had a friend come in and decorate it a little in celebration of my wedding anniversary and they allowed him to come in and decorate the room no problem, no hassle Definitely want to stay again

I had to come to the area for a funeral and this hotel was recommended by my great nieceI drove throughout the night and arrived earlyThe staff worked extremely hard to get me into a room before the allotted check-in time

The room was nice and very comfortableI have back problems but slept great on their mattressThe location is awesome Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a movie theater and a TargetThe staff was very friendly but I didn’t require any service during my 3 day stay, except for an extra towelOn the downside, parking was definitely a premium at night timeAlso, as much as I liked my room, there was an odd, but slight fish- like smell to the room initiallyBut it either went away or I got used to itBottom line is I would highly recommend this place and definitely stay there again if I was in the areaI’m very grateful this place was recommended to me

On Monday July 19th, 2022, when checking in to the hotel, Hampton Inn refused to honor the price that was quoted to me when I booked the room through their website They were trying to charge me $50 more than what my email stated I showed them my email straight from the Hilton/Hampton company and they still refused to honor the price that was given

I asked to cancel the room without the charges because they could not honor my quoted price, to which they agreed I specifically asked Divine (the front desk worker) more than once to confirm that I was not going to be charged to which she replied that I would not Today while looking at my bank account there was a charge there for $134 When I called the hotel and spoke with Divine this evening she refused to admit that she or the hotel had done anything wrong She told me that I should have just accepted the price she gave me originally I feel strongly that they should have honored both the price quoted to me from the company website/email as well as the agreement to not charge me for the cancellation I did contact their corporate offices and took care of getting my refund through that avenue, but I want others to know to watch out for these liars and cheats!

Sketchy situations at front desk and in hallways I reported it to management after returning home because I was still unsettled about what we saw The facility was nice though! Beds were very comfortable and our kids and us slept well

The room was clean, but supplies were missing and we had to return to desk to ask for coffee, shampoo bottles, etc I honestly wouldn’t stay here again
