This inn has the hospitality of a 5 star resort From the desk clerks to house keepers, even management are warm and invitingIt’s not the most modern place but it’s clean, a full breakfast is served in the dining room from 6 to 10 am, the coffee is fresh all day and even at midnight and staff remembers you by name

Cindy at the front desk saw I was having a hard day and she exceeded expectations in her professionalism and compassion In this day, every company would be lucky to have a person like her to representative their establishment*Kid Friendly*Outdoor pool*King size room very spacious*Let out sofa*Bathroom deep tubs and rails*Phone charger, coffee maker

Not bad for a night stay Only problem we had was people slamming doors maybe they need to adjust them so they close quietly

Whether it was a season event or what, but it was a little pricey but overall highly recommended staff was very courteous Also a nice little variety of breakfast Nothing fancy but fairly served

Awful in every aspectFront desk, evening and morning staff, incredibly rude and not helpful in any way Quite nasty really!Breakfast was terrible, stale bread and muffins, no fruit

Coffee was luke warm The breakfast lady could have cared less even though there was still a hour and a half before breakfast endedThe room smelled like mold, AC didn’t work well, floor was stained, and towels feel like sandpaper TV is a joke since you get 10 channels and 8 of them are sports Didn’t feel clean and the bed was not comfortableSave your money, don’t spend it at this overpriced dump with bad attitudes running it Go somewhere else…Anywhere but Sleep Inn & Suites Ocala/Belleview

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed by this hotel The staff was friendly, professional and engaging, and seemed to enjoy working there! The shared space for the free breakfast was very clean, well organized and had nice ambiance The free breakfast had lots of options and tasted good

The hotel room was a decent size, the mattress was supportive and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure We would definitely stay here again!

This location was closest to the Villages, where I was attending a family event Everything about this hotel suited me just fine Contactless check-in and check-out was offered, although I preferred to check in and out at the desk

The staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel and my room seemed very clean; my “king Executive Suite” room was about the same price as all the other rooms but was HUGE and extremely comfortable It had a very large desk, a sofa and a chair, which I appreciated I was pleased with the small but nice fitness center and also the business center The breakfast was terrific, and complimentary coffee was available 24/7 Parking was convenient, and plenty of luggage carts were available when I checked in and also when I checked out I will definitely stay at this location again on my next visit to see family at The Villages

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced, they were always a step ahead of me with taking care of my needs The breakfast bar is great! The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, great temperature, and lighting I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again

This was a last minute book, driving to Tampa from Chicago! Great Spot, Stay here

My day started off horrible due to my car having issues and had to be kept overnight for a new part The car place recommend Shamrock Cove as it is under new ownership and had been renovated I could not have been happier! The manager John and his husband are wonderful and welcoming! My husband and I were able to sit and chat with them for a bit

They recommend the best restaurant that we have ever eaten atThe rooms are are beautiful and cozy I grew up in an old Florida house and our room reminded me of home with beautiful terrazo floors and green tiled bathroom I love that it’s not not a sterile feeling, white walled, bland room The decor is cheerful, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it’s within walking distance to downtownConsidering they are located on a busy road, the room was pretty quiet The courtyard/parking lot was as peaceful as possible even with traffic whizzing byJohn and his husband made us feel at home and we will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area

Lheajo Croce

The room we stayed in was rather quaint and felt very cozy! There is no option for early check-in as the office is closed until exactly 3pm The office manager was easy going and the check-in process was quick and painless Our bathroom specifically (I can’t say for the other rooms) did not have an outlet which was pretty inconvenient

Alexander Erchenkov

Place looks nice and rooms are also cute (we saw them through the window) Place was closed after 10pm when we arrived The note on the door said WE had to contact the place to let them know we arrive after 10pm

I do understand it’s a small/family business, but normally in this case front desk can make 1 min for a courtesy call to reconfirm when guest are arriving It’s a hotel with dozen rooms, what do they do the whole day, I don’t knowAnother way around, some small hotels leave keys hidden and tell guests where to find themSome hotels have digital locks, guest only need a codeThere are numerous ways to keep guest happyOwner of Shamrock motel chose the worst way – leave us without accommodation for night and tell us it’s our fault Very disappointed

Let me start off by saying, the staff was friendly and helpfulThe hotel was very clean and the decor was niceOur room was very clean, even behind the furniture

The beds and pillows are awesome, super comfortableWhy I only gave 3 stars is because of the breakfast buffet$2400 each!!It’s just like any other hotel breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etcNothing special Especially at that price pointThankfully the Diamond level covered $3000 of itJesus Christ, talk about price gougingDo yourself a favor and get in the car and drive off-site for breakfast

Chelsea

Very clean hotel and nice, friendly staff when we were finally able to check in at almost 1 AM after traveling, but the A/C did not work well at all, which was unfortunate for the middle of July Bed was very comfortable and showers/overall room were great, but the warmness of the room made the overall experience a 3/5 Read a lot of reviews about the A/C not working well

Only bad thing about entire experience

Ben Edwards

The hotel stay was awesome and I visit a lot of Hilton Hotels in my business travel By far the customer service is excellent they will go the extra mile to ensure that you are treated like you should get treated If you ever get a chance stay in this room 707 is a suite I must say by far for the price it is very worth it and it’s not expensive at all

I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Ocala area the front Desk ladies are awesome

We checked in late and they were still so accommodating for us and the dog! The room was so spacious and beautiful it was sad to just sleep in it and have to leave What a waste of a gorgeous room! But they were clean, have separate kitchen area and you can cook on burners It’s a great hotel for a longer stay esp if you have little ones

Pool and hot tub were taken care of immaculately as well

Sanjay Toy Review

There are several reasons I’m giving this hotel 5-star I’ve stayed at this hotel for 4 momths (extended stay) and we have found our way back after having to stay at a few other nearby hotels and being very disappointed They are not the cheapest, but it is well worth it

The staff has always been professional and friendly to myself and my family The rooms are very clean and we enjoy being able to stay somewhere that we can make our own meals They have everything you need to cook and enjoy your own meals Breakfast is included in the stay The Wednesday dinner is also included and it is quite the compliment to the stay I don’t drink, but you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal! The environment is safe and comfortable Our kids love the pool area (access to grill) and basketball court All in all, I totally recommend this hotel!

Kathryn Slack

I stayed here for 3 weeks while horse showing in the area The location is great – it is tucked in from the highway, but close to lots of food options, shopping, and I75 The hotel offers complimentary breakfast every morning, a great pool/spa area, a gym and laundry room (coin laundry), and lots of parking

My room was as expected – the bed was comfortable, kitchen reasonably well-equipped (dishes, utensils, dish washer, toaster, coffee maker, some pots/pans, and a full sized fridge/freezer), but the shower could use an upgrade All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful and I never felt unsafe staying here alone I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Sunday 3/13/22 My Father booked two nights at a popular budget friendly hotel for himself and a close family friend Their stay was awful

Just like one of those seedy hotels in outlaw movies Fortunately Best Western still had availability We immediately went over and booked a reservation prior to check in time We were able to leave our cars there while we went out for the day At check in we requested our rooms to be away from I-75 They already fulfilled our request and placed us next door to each other After getting to my room, I immediately wished I had booked more than one night just to enjoy all of the amenities Having a background in the hotel industry, I would rate everything well I was impressed by the front desk’s intuition The staff was very hospitable and accommodating The rooms were fantastic My new neighbors were elated with the upgrade in room quality I would definitely recommend and look forward to any opportunity to stay there again

Elizabeth’s Plexus

Scheduling was a great experience Man was nice and friendly Check in, great

Staff is very friendly The room was very small, bed could not have been queen, uncomfortable, hallway from door parking lot smelled like urine, hallway was stinky, room was not very clean, breakfast area was dirty, and the walls are paper thin Barely slept the first night from all the noise We were there for a softball tournament with our two daughters and our dog They charged us for our two night stay, the morning after the first night I will never stay here again I expected a lot more for $249/ night

Lucas Tostes

Very strong smell of mold and/or mildew in the room, BUT REMEMBER no smoking anywhere on property Also they are under construction and roofers start working at 8am, it would have been nice if this was advised before booking a room The smell in the room gave us a bad headache

The only reason I didn’t give one star is because I didn’t see any bugs and the breakfast was OK Please dont copy and paste “first and foremost” BS reply here and essentially do nothing to correct their moisture problem Good luck

Husband decided to spend the extra money on a hotel room for my daughters 1st special Olympics experience I previously had went on their personal website and it stated he could get the Florida resident rate which was $350 for the dates I selected So instead of booking online he walked in to purchased the room

The gentleman at the front desk stated the Fl rate was just for Sun Through Thurs and he was unable to give it to him and charged him$380 I called up after my husband called to let me know and spoke with the same gentleman He was not very nice after I nicely explainines to him what it showed online Then he explains to me even if I purchased it for that price online (their personal website) upon checking in he would have charge me the $380 anyway Then when I arrive we go to her room which was nice but then we see her view out her window a roof with a dirty rag and a bright billboard According to him the hotel was pretty empty that night so you think he could have given her a better view Then in the morning it took about 10min for the water to even get a little warm I definitely would have much rather stayed somewhere cheaper and receive more for my money and a front desk clerk that’s cares about his customers Very disappointed with what we received for the money we spent Next time I would rather stay at a Hilton The beds are just as comfy, you get breakfast included, and the staff is usually wry nice

Hardage Giddens Oaklawn

This is a first rate facility by any standard including mine I attending the festival of speed car event as well as enjoying the Derby Day festivities I brought my RV and utilized the RV park and General store

We also had a meal at the hotel and enjoyed the toy store with our grandkids The staff everywhere was very helpful and cheerful, and the grounds and the other facilities were beautifully kept This is Disney World for Horse Fans but anyone would enjoy a stay if they are in the area

Shannon McMasters

Incredible! Attention to detail is impeccable as well as the layout of the property and barns/arenasStaff isn’t the most pleasant throughout the grounds unless you’re in the restaurants of the actual hotel Stores are great, would love to see more fashion and retail stores that aren’t horse related too

Biggest let down is they went with Starbucks products instead of a higher quality coffee company with concoctions as unique as the venue Stirrups is amazing experience and food!!! 10 starsStalls are big and comfortable for the horses!

Always a pleasant experience to stay with Comfort Suites Check in was quick and easy My reservation requests were met to a T (ground floor handicap room)

The front desk staff very pleasant and always a smile The room is very nice Clean and large Large flat screen TV Fridge and microwave standard Unlike many hotels the room is well lit when needed and a built in night light in the bathroom really helps for that middle of the night visit The lobby is very attractive and co-located with the breakfast area The pool looks quite inviting however 60 degrees says ‘don’t do it’ The only downside was the breakfast, other Comfort Inns have had great food spreads including eggs and sausage but sadly not here

The air conditioner does not work in our room! Its Florida…it’s hot!! We have my mother with us so we booked a double queen room for almost $250, the best victor could do was offer us a single king bed room So we will be paying over $200 to sleep on a couch! Their is no manager on duty and the staff is not capable of resolving issues! Do not recommend to anyone!! I called the 800 number Victor gave us, since no one local can help, and was told they will open a ticket for our complaint and we should receive and email after check out 🙄

Sarah Manning

I requested two cribs be put in our room for our infant twins when I booked I called the day ahead of time and spoke to a man who confirmed that cribs would be in the room When I checked in, there were no cribs in the room

When I asked the front desk I was told the hotel only had one crib and it was in use My infants had to sleep on the floorI also booked a room with a picture of a tub with jets When I called, I also confirmed that tub would be in our room There was only the standard tub when I arrived This tub had pink mildew in the corners and needed to be washed before it could be used by our childrenThe sign in the bathroom said that rooms would be cleaned and serviced on day three of our stay They were not We ran out of both towels and toilet paper We asked for more towels and toilet paper and were only supplied with two towels and no toilet paper We had to go buy toilet paper because I was, quite frankly, over dealing with the staff at this pointI also requested a late check out when I booked When I called down to confirm the night before, I was told that they had to charge me $25 and that we could check out at 1:00pm, which was fine At 12:45 the next day I got a call asking if we were staying another night and when I informed them we had a late check out I was told it hadn’t been marked as suchAll in all it was a really frustrating stay during a time when we were in town for a medical emergency in the family and needed things to go smoothly I understand that staffing in many places is a challenge and had I made requests and then been informed that they could not have been met it would have been fine – but we were told one thing and experienced something very differentI would not stay here again and the experience has left me likely choosing another hotel chain in the future

This is the closest place to stay to our boys’ homes, and we came down to visit them But that’s not why we stayed The front desk ladies, Leanne and Sherry, worked extra hard to accommodate us! We were so grateful! Rose, the breakfast lady, was very sweet and friendly

Our room was very comfortable, as were the beds We’ve decided this will be our go-to motel in Ocala every time we visit our sons from now on!

Michele

Honestly the rooms are beautiful and clean The customer service is impeccable The gentleman that helped me when I checked in on a Thursday was not only kind and helpful but very professional! I highly recommend this hotel and I hope everyone gets the chance to meet the gentleman at the front desk that was very kind and helpful

One star because I could jot give zero! We have only used Holiday Inn for years, but we will never use this location again! I booked a room for my photographer for my daughters wedding that was to be charged to my card as instructed They not only made her pay for the room, but attempted to kick her out the following morning AFTER I went to the hotel at 11pm the following night to make sure everything was correct and she would be refunded and allowed to complete her two night stay

When dealing with the management team, I felt like I was dealing with a circus In total our group had multiple rooms here, the person who reserved our block of rooms was charged for some of the rooms as were the guests leading to multiple double charges The management is a joke and we ended up dealing with corporate to resolve our issue, the mother of the groom got no response from management and ended up disputing charges with the bank So just a heads up if you are booking for a group , go somewhere else unless you like to be jerked around!

The room was very clean, Tabitha was so kind, and the whole establishment was so much nicer than what we were expecting for the price Finding a pet friendly hotel is not the easiest task, and finding one without an insane pet fee is even harder but Comfort Inn nailed it If all Comfort Inns are at the same level as this one, we will be customers for life

The only downfall of our stay was that our room was next to what I believe is the breakfast prep area so we were woken up at 4:45 by consistent noise BUT we did request the closest room to the exterior door to make it easy to go outside so not a reason to lose a star 🙂

Cynthia Bernard

I stayed at this hotel because my husband, my daughter, and I were in Ocala for a funeral Everything was fine during the stay I checked out and told the front desk clerk that I didn’t need the receipt

After I left, I was charged $260 When I called to inquire about it I was told I was charged for smoking in the room A claim that is a blatant lie Apparently their process is that if the housekeeper says the room smells like smoke you get charged We were literally only in the room to sleep because we were with family grieving the loss of our family member When I called to ask about the smoking, Tabitha was rude with me, cut me off, and told me I would have to talk to the manager the next day because she was off So I now have a $260 charge on my account which there is nothing I can do about until tomorrow I don’t even smoke and would never allow smoke in the room with my child This felt like a punch to the gut after saying our goodbyes to our loved one

Elizabeth Weaver

Clean and comfy only one thing just wish the room was a tad colder They do take AAA and allow pets The room I had wad a two bed queen $109 before AAA and $95

What a beautiful place! I wanted to give my elderly mother a special Christmas and I chose the right place to help me do just that! The grounds and decorations for the holidays put Disney to shame! We were so very impressed Magical!I made a special request to have private dining in one of the roomsThe hotel is absolutely stunning

Every single staff member, from reservations to the general manager, made our evening perfect When we got to our room, the bed had been removed to give us more space and a table was set to perfection for our dinner The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! My mother was so touched by the thoughtfulness and hospitalityHotels are in the business of hospitality, but this place truly gives her guests all that and moreWell done, Mr and Mrs Roberts! We are so grateful to have this beautiful magical place in our home town!

From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming I was extremely impressed how this hotel is immaculately clean 24/7 The grounds are kept immaculate as well, I noticed staff walking around taking notes on the landscape

Every detail seems to NOT be overlooked The arenas are perfectly maintained , the pool is spectacularI look forward to returning fist week in August What a pleasant place to be!

Hotel is Stunning, the grounds were so well kept and so clean Front desk staff so accommodating, and friendly Door man always said hello

Plenty of restaurants on the property however, The only complaint I have is the restaurant service is very slow The Mexican place opened for lunch at 11 am however didn’t have rice cooked yet and said 40 minutes Not the hotels fault I think lack of staff maybe or poor management in that department Also Hotel room was beautiful, but bedding was not comfortable at all They only have quilts in the hotel no other bedding I asked housekeeping and they even told me the bedding is like hospital sheets and they get several complaints for not having any comforters or soft blankets Overall great stay they just need to tweak a few things here and there

Very nice property with nice staff and convenient on/off highway location!Would stay again – big plus as they are pet friendly too!Having stayed at a Marriott sister property (Springhill Suites) @ 1/2 mile away (also dog friendly) I’d recommend this place as a better location for walking your furry companion as there’s a lot more clear grassy areas for you to walkHaving a longer stay this time I’ve found the staff very friendly and accommodating as well, especially Royce at check-in Stay tuned for further updates

Brittney

This place is unbelievably cute and cozy! Anne and Brantley (the inn keepers) were so accommodating and friendly This was mine and my boyfriends first time staying at a B&B and we will definitely be returning to this one This is a cozy get away from the stresses of a traditional hotel

I also need to mention how amazing the breakfast we had was! I asked for the recipe and Brantley was very kind to share it with me, I’ll be making it at home now We had no problems with anything!

Rhonda Joy Babcock

Loved our time at Shamrock Thistle & Crown Bed and Breakfast! Brantley and Anne are excellent hosts going above and beyond to please you during your stay! The breakfasts were too notch and delicious! We stayed in Annie’s Cottage and it was comfortable and adorable! Thank you so much for a great time! We will tell all our family to stay with you when they visit my sister!

The hotel was in a perfect location for local restaurants, shops, petrol station and just off the freeway so that there was no noise It was new, modern, spacious The staff were very warm, welcoming and professional

The hotel rooms was large, comfortably fitted 2 adults and 3 teenagers Great separate seating, working area Bathroom was spacious, clean, well stocked The continental breakfast far exceeded expectation, varied selection which changed daily, really lovely We would definitely return

MrDougstud

Nice hotel with nice clean quiet rooms and friendly helpful staffUnfortunately can’t give five stars, for a Marriott hotel the included breakfast was a little substandard Maybe it’s a covid related issue but I can’t for the life of me understand why they would put out butter and jelly and serve nothing to put it on

I dont know anyone that doesn’t like toast with there eggs but in three days I never saw toast Not to mention one morning there were no eggs either They did have prepackaged egg sandwiches and waffles that weren’t much better than something you could buy under a heat lamp at the local gas stationMy other two complaints would be room related The bathroom sink is way too small plus you have to be careful you don’t poke a hole in your forehead from the sharp faucet handle when bending down to wash your face Last con would be the air-conditioner in relation to the beds As long as you don’t mind sleeping two feet away from freezing air blowing on you you’ll be just fine I had to find a cushion in the room to help redirect the airflow or I would have been an ice-sickleJust needed to point this stuff out but for the most part it was a nice stay

Pros: Location, great pressure and fast hot water in the showerCons: Early check-in fee Even 15 minutes early I never heard of that before

The mini fridge didn’t work well It kept going off so food went bad and drinks stayed warm The hot breakfast was pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal They weren’t very good The coffee was

So-so hotel Stayed for 6 nights The bistro is over-priced frozen food

The rooms are very large, but super outdated The tub had rust stains in it Water smelled like rotten eggs I was woken up by sirens and street noise every single night of my stay The garbage truck collected the garbage at 3:20am very loudly on Wednesday night… But overall, it really does seem like the hotel is striving for the best The staff is really nice and accommodating The pool area is nice The hotel overall just seems old with a fake, fresh face

Arrived at the hotel around 10pm after driving all day Was ready to get into the room and sleep The first room we got into had blood on the pillow case, sheets and mattress protector

Called the front desk and the lady working was extremely helpful and moved us to another room This room was in better condition but still average Shower had rust stains coming out of the the water safety overflow and had a very musty smell I was told that I would be given points to my Marriott card but that still has not happenedBeing a Marriott member for a long time now I try to use Marriott hotels when I can This hotel won’t be on my list to go back to

I booked a King Suite Room 148While the room was large, clean, & bed was comfortable, it’s disappointing that they put this room right next to the elevator equipment room

Worse is that the headroom is right next to the equipment room Anytime someone used an elevator, you can hear the buzzing noise This went on all night longThey also have “smart” thermostats that don’t run if it doesn’t sense that you are in the room after awhile So sometime in the middle of the night, the room was several degrees warmer than I had originally set it Which did not help with sleeping since I was too warm, while being woken up by the mechanical roomThe lights in the hallways are very dark The other lights in the room could be updated to a higher lumen or to not be so yellow as well

The room was great! But the owner should threaten his customers before he swipes their cardI was staying with family for the holidays and rented a room with a date one night When the cashier saw my address was within 50 miles he stuck his finger in my face and told me I better not be having any parties in his motel

I am not coming back here

The best $95 I’ve spent on a room The pool was clean and relaxing Mr

jay Patel was extremely nice I asked for a late check out they gave me 3 extra hours with no hassle The room was exceptionally clean and bedding was comfortable And when my Uber driver canceled getting me to the airportAmisha Patel was more than helpful helping me find a shuttle to get me there on time over all I have to say for a small hotel they got it togetherAnd if you’re ever in the area of Escala FloridaGreat place to stayso thank you Mr Patel

The staff was very rude I booked through bookingcom, and cancelled my booking 2 days in advance

They refused my cancelation and charged a no show fee which was more than a nights stay Then when I called to speak to the manager he was not there 3 days in a row and the lady who answered the phone got more rude every time When I finally got the charge refunded they went and got the refund disputed 3 months later After I had to prove my cancelation through sending in my call logs and email ligs and records of trying to cancel the reservation and them refusing

My family and I were evacuated from our apartment during a recent tornado and had to find a place to stay for several nights This Holiday Inn is immaculate, the staff is incredible, and the hot continental breakfast is as good as I’ve ever seen The real star was the manager, Manish

His kindness went above doing his job and was a reflection of him just being a genuinely good person We often have family in town and I will have them stay here from now on Thank you, Manish! Our stressful situation was made easier knowing we had a clean and safe place to stay and people like you willing to go the extra mile

I wish your sign in the elevator were bigger red letters for disrespectful 20 year olds who stay up all night drinking & barking, howling, laughing I wish you could make it a Policy if you keep other people awake that you will have to pay for their hotel room I had to be up very early the next morning &had to take my mother to Shands hospital for an app

It was very dangerous for me to drive I almost fell asleep a few times home after Melbourne Florida I actually don’t feel like anyone cared as much for us to find out what they could have done Yes I’m sure they got yelled at but I wasn’t able to go to sleep for 2 hours so by the time I did I had only 2 hour’s of sleep Not happy about that stay at all

Mrs. K.

I had a terrible experience with a hotel reservation employee at this hotel It took me 30 minutes to share my information, which they got wrong 4 times with each line of information, including my name, address, and credit card info (which had the credit card company deny my request four times) They put me on hold for an inordinate amount of time and in the end disconnected the line, while also charging my card, when I had no idea if I ever got a reservation since the employee said they would call me back

I called to cancel the reservation and got my money back, but even the manager did not respond about this event with any concern So, Holiday Inns you will not be getting anymore of my business!
